Kendra Uko: Literally did Intake online. A week later someone reached out. Within 60 seconds of convo I hear personal cellphone ring. This person puts me on hold for 45 min. I hang up to call back no answer. My case is time sensitive this is unprofessional better off trying something else. Terrible terrible terrible. Wish I could give zero stars Go on twitter and stop these people from getting paid leave your review there donors read this type of stuff!!!

Quinzel Ivy: Very rude on phone, didn't listen to me, hung up on me after I stated my last domestic violence abuse was a few months ago but have recent threats. I was very calm the whole call, they were speaking to me very aggressively. Im glad this happened because if i was able to work with them i probably would have had no assistance. Very troubling.

R. H. Ann: Not very happy with them. First, they give me the wrong phone numbers that are fax numbers. Then when I called back to get the correct phone numbers, they tell me they don’t have them. I am one step above poverty level, and they tell me that my income does not qualify for their services. They were of absolutely no help at all. The only thing positive that I can say is they are polite over the phone.

Kathy Wagner: Land of Lincoln is an amazing agency. The work they do is priceless. The staff members work so hard to help those in need. As a Child & Family Advocate I always recommend their services to senior citizens. Especially those who need help with a "Power of Attorney". And to make sure they get help with their Estates and Trust planning. Many Senior Citizens are unaware of their services. Many Seniors are on fixed incomes, living longer as well as working long into what should be their golden years. If they need legal advice they may not be able to afford a private Attorney. This is were Land of Lincoln-Legal Aid, will be a great help. Their services are free to seniors. And with the upcoming wave of evictions, individuals and families need to know that Land of Lincoln is a great resource for those will need help with this stressful situation. God bless you to all the Staff members of Land of Lincoln-Legal and Legal Aid offices across our nation.

Jennifer Avey: Helped get me in touch with a knowledgeable, competent attorney when I had an issue with a community mural. Ended up needing more advising 3 years down the road, and the attorney was just as helpful then. The whole process was pretty organized and painless, too-- and communicating with KCVLAA was prompt and courteous. I'm grateful there is an organization to help artists navigate copyright, ownership, contracts, etc. because it was difficult to know what my rights were or how to interpret the law without speaking to an attorney about it.

So I really didn’t get concrete answers or the help I needed. A bit disappointed. The guy that helped me was nice and tried to help as much as he could. I appreciated that.
Kate B: What an amazing organization! I have had nothing but positive interactions with my volunteer lawyer and firm. They helped me get registered as a LLC, get my EIN and DBA forms submitted and understand my sales tax obligations. Any question I had was answered completely and promptly, even allowing me to get registered and properly collect sales tax for a pop up.
