The young Lady behind the counter was friendly efficient and personable. The older Gentleman.., i guess he's the owner, realized i was a little over my head and took time to ask about my "do it yourself" project, and what i was planning. He was patient and understanding. He made several suggestions, and provided some tips and techniques that really made the project go easier and faster. Plus because of his help i realized i didn't need everything i thought i did. The main reason was because of the exceptional customer service provided to me by Mark B. He started out by helping me with a question I had with some of my current equipment even though it may not have ended in a purchase he was glad to share his knowledge. He also helped evaluate my current trimmer for repair, in the meantime because of his experience in the business he helped me pick out a new trimmer for my Home & Farm after listening to my Needs & Wants. It is a rare experience these days to have someone really listen to you. While he was preparing my purchase my wife and I decided on the spur of the moment to buy an additional mower. My wife wanted some input into this purchase because she knew that there would be times that she would be using it. He not only listened to what she had to say but he gave her multiple options , helped set the mower up for her so she could experience what it would be like to use it and let her test it to make sure that she would be happy to use it if necessary. My wife noted that this was one of her best customer service experiences. We hope Lawn Care Equipment Company realizes what a gem they have in Mark B. He will be the reason we come back.Ps all of this took place late in the day and while we could have come back Mark made sure that we were able to take are new purchases home with us the same day. John Curran: After some miscommunication within their staff I was told a chainsaw I picked out was covered under the "echo day" promotional deal. I was then told on Friday which was "echo day" that the saw I had set aside was not an "X series" which meant it did not qualify under the promo. After expressing my concern they decided to go ahead and honor the 15% discount that I had expected. Everyone I talked to there was friendly and professional. Especially Mark, who was very knowledgeable and got me lined out when I came to pick up my chainsaw. I recommend their business to anybody!

Now don’t get me wrong, I won’t mention these few names, but I was and have been treated with disrespect and wrong business ethics but after the relationship I have built over the years with the Managers, with a simple explanation the problem is always fixed or we agree on a deal.Thanks Southtown!!

Matt Bilyeu: Be careful with rentals. I just returned a van I rented from this location. The store associate from the tool rental counter came out and immediately pointed to damage on the side of the van which was present when I rented it and asked what I ran into. It was almost as if he knew the damage was there. No walk around or docunentation of damage was done either when I rented or returned the vehicle. I assume they plan on charging me or submitting a claim on my insurance for damage that I didn't cause. The store associate tells me he will check with the guy that rented the vehicle to me earlier in the day, but regardless of how this turns out they clearly have completely inadequate policy on documenting damage on rentals at either the point of return or rental. I will never rent from this Home Depot again, and I'm unlikely to shop there in general due to this bitter experience.
