Kallie Clyde: We used the prefold cloth diaper service for our newborn. The service itself was so easy and convenient. They deliver it right to your doorstep weekly. You never have to wash a single dirty/wet cloth insert or run to the store for more diapers. My husband and I struggled at first to get the hang of the fold technique, but the owner was very responsive and helpful via email. Just as other reviews have mentioned, communication was thorough and professional and service was dependable/timely. We felt good using the service because it minimized the amount of diaper waste we contributed to landfills and it's just as cost-effective if not more cost effective than buying disposables. Would absolutely recommend!

Brittany Michelle: -On the more expensive side with 75% of machines out of order or reserved for staff.-I’ve dealt with rude attendants more than once here. Bummer. If you’re servicing the people of Tower Grove South- do you think those same people will keep coming if they’re spoken to without respect every time they’re here?-On a random Monday they were closing at 4pm. Instead of a BIG SIGN on the door that says something to the effect of “LAST WASH: 2PM”, there was a tiny, nondescript piece of paper that said “closing, 4pm.” I literally didn’t see it because it was among the 30 other sheets of paper on the door. When I showed back up to dry my clothes, the attendant came outside the laundromat to let me know they were closed. I let her know my clothes were inside wet. She did let me know I could dry them (while she closed i’m assuming? she made it a point to sweep around my feet while I loaded sopping wet clothes into a hamper with no intention of staying). I said to her casually, “It would’ve been nice if there was a sign- I would’ve went elsewhere.” She then let me know “There was a sign.” LOL! Alrighty! Little sticky note should’ve alerted me that bringing my business here would’ve had me lugging wet clothes all over the city. My bad.Pass. WASH U on Hampton is cheaper with working machines- and the attendants are sweet!

Told me that she could not give me the quarters so I could do my laundry. Really! So I had to return home to bring my dirty laundry into my apartment. I had been to this laundromat several times in the past. I will not return to this laundromat in the future. Absolutely ridiculous how this was handled. I guess being a honorable veteran with high standards should expect something like this in today's world. Always try to accommodate your customers as best as you can. Thanks again. Lol 🇺🇲

wild rice: I've been coming here for about a year and a half or so. It's an okay laundromat but throughout that time the number of machines that are out of order on a given day has gone steadily up. This makes it hard to find available machines as it's not a huge place place to begin with.If you use the smaller (normal-sized) dryers, you have to watch them like a hawk because every five to ten minutes they will just stop working and give a flashing error code. You just have to restart it and it will go for another 5 -10. This can easily double the amount of time it takes to dry your clothes (if you're not watching actively) and the cost as well. That has been happening since I've started coming here, so I always try to use the larger dryers if possible but a lot of them are reserved for staff.As for positives, they have some comfortable couches to sit on and the bathroom is usually clean.I mainly come here since it's close to me but without having the core basics like being able to reliably wash and dry my clothes I'll probably start looking to find a new place.

Comfy, but you can tell they don't want to put anything too nice or fancy out furniture size cuz it'll just get ruined. So you get granpas old couch. which I am fine considering I got a full load done for $6 including Tide package. And the ladies were cleaning everything all the time. So you know why it's been in business for years. I feel great coming here.Basically a 5 star place. I just wanted a clean, cheap laundromat. I got more! Super clean, friendly attendant, about 3 bucks a load to wash and dry. They even have a library to read and a FREE cruisin' world arcade cabinet. Childhood nostalgia!Really though, super cool place

Shelia Lewis: No attendant lost 1.50 in they machine you pay 25 cents for 5 minutes on a dryer that don’t even dry your clothes, not to mention you have to go to another laundromat just to get change so you can wash your clothes, nobody to talk to so you spend majority of your money on washing only to get screwed on drying your clothes coming here was a waste of time

Whitney: Soulard soap is a friendly establishment where I enjoy doing my laundry, the parking is convenient, the workers display kind hospitality, theirs a mini library and an arcade, it’s always clean which I appreciate and they offer free drying to the customers. Another thing I appreciate is theirs a QR code available to those that forget to bring cash and you don’t have to pay a fee like the ATM’s lol.

Corey Anderson: I was in St. Louis on business and I was going to need to wash some clothes during my trip. While my hotel had facilities... they were coin only and NO change machines. So I decided to head to a laundromat with nicer equipment and I found this place. I am so glad I did. The laundromat is clean and extremely well run. Everyone here is absolutely friendly too, I have never felt more welcome, even at laundry places back home! And the best part? Drying is free ! My goodness, that's the service I feel like EATS quarters. This is a really nice with terrifically nice people. Support this business if you're in the area, they are most excellent!

wild rice: This was a nice laundromat. I looked here at Google Maps and found they tend to be strangely not busy at all on Saturdays and that turned out to be true. It definitely has an old-fashioned vibe. That can be charming in a way, however the deal-breaker for me is that they don't accept cards. I have coin-operated machines in my apartment building, the only reason I go to laundromats is it's 2022 and I don't want to deal with coins or cash. I realize now that the laundromats I've been going to were the exception and most laundromats are still stuck in last century when it comes to payment, but it's a must-have for me.
David Batteast: Owners are racist, showed there true colors when an argument between another patron and me ensued. The owner addressed me but never address the other patron even after I informed the owner that the other patron started the argument.
Jen Dimov: I would have preferred, like, 80% less being expected to hold a conversation, and also 100% less of the TV blaring. But the people here seem nice and the laundry got laundered in a reasonable period of time for a very reasonable price.

BreakingRigsby Stl: Its never fun going to the laundrymat but if you have to do it, might as well do it at Wash U. The place is clean,usually pretty empty when you go in the evening and they have plenty of washers and dryers that you can do all of your loads at the same time. Theres even a bar and grill next door so you can grab some food while you wait.

And, only one of the three top loaders are working. Still a number of people that prefer these machines and people have waited for us to get done so they could use the last machine available. L Ove: The laundromat is clean. However, the doors lock before the closing time and there is no one there to let you in. I was waiting in my car one evening and went to get my clothes around ten. I couldn't get my clothes until the next morning. This happened a few weeks ago and the doors locked before ten thirty. hotblkverguy: i will never go there again,,,,,,,i went to wash and dry my clothes and there was an old black women there,,i wanted to dry my clothes for an extended period of time,, but she was watching me,,,& told me,, i could not do there, her words to me was,,"don't do that",, like i was her child,,, i thought i had the freedom to was & dry as i please,, ,it was my money,,, to help support that business,,,but not there,,,,no one should be told how to wash & dry there clothes,, as long as there not tearing the the washers & dryers,she said nothing to the people who came in there & left there clothes in the washers & dryers unattended ,, & they have a sign up,, saying,,not to leave your clothes unattended ,, she said nothing to them,,,beware,,,,like i saidI WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!un pleasant experience,,,

I accidentally spilled soda too here ajd the guy working came over and mopped it up and I appreciate him so much. The employees are very nice to speak to and it gives up a friendly atmosphere. Favourite place ever.

If you’re looking for a place that you can come and hang out comfortably while you do your wash, this is it. I feel good knowing I’m supporting a local business, and I feel safe enough to not be on high-alert of everything around me at all times. Truly a family atmosphere, lots of washers and dryers, and they’re not all taken up by the in-house laundry service. Friendly staff and affordable prices make it worth coming back to.

Ellie Cruz: I’ve been to more laundromats than I care to count. I’ve been to ones in Texas, Colorado, Indiana and Missouri. I’ve been to them at 6 AM, and at 3 AM. This is the best laundromat I’ve ever used.First, the neighborhood. I know my way around “bad” neighborhoods. However, this one is in a decent neighborhood. The street was quiet, and while I couldn’t see a surface lot, there was plenty of on street parking. It’s easy to miss, but just as easy to turn around.The place itself was clean, and inviting. So many laundromats these days are just harsh white lighting and a couple of fake plants. Not this one. There were shades of brown, and interesting decor that made me feel a lot more comfortable than a tv blaring a cartoon to keep children entertained. Which, wouldn’t be hard. There is ample reading material, and the way the room is divided up, you could your own little nook to just sit and relax while you wait. There was a vending machine, with fantastic prices: 75 cents for a soda. The majority of the space is wheelchair accessible as well, except for the far right area.The washers and dryers themselves were terrific. I’m partial to top loading washer, they just do a better job than front loading. It’s $2.00 for a wash with one of those, and I saw a front loading machine for $3.00. Very good prices, as I’ve seen places charging $12.00. The dryers themselves are $1.25 for 45 minutes, and do a very good job. And are less tedious than the “free” dryers at other places that only give you 12 minutes at a time.All in all, it is a very good place. Unlike several other laundromats, it was quiet. There was hardly any noise. It wasn’t crowded at all for a Friday afternoon, and everyone I saw wore a mask. If I weren’t leaving St.Louis this weekend, I would make this my weekly joint.
