Roc: I had lasik here over 13 years ago. I had multiple side effects like reduced night vision, seeing star bursts, and increased eye floaters after the surgery. I was told that after six months these side effects will go away but after 13 years I still suffer with these problems. They lied to me and never took responsibility for what they did to my eyes - I was never a candidate but according to one of the doctors there they were doing me a favor by "$qeezing" me in knowing full well that I had dry eyes, and without telling me that it would cause issues. Do not trust LasikPlus with your eyes because they only care about profit, because if something goes wrong they won't take responsibility.And to LasikPlus, don't bother responding to my review with some lame reply as if you care, because we both know you don't. If our government wasn't bought by special interests I would sue you to hell and back.

ML S: Horrible experience. No optometrist had to take the prescription somewhere else to have them made. When the glasses were received the prescription had been missing the "add" for reading so I had to take off work go to both where they were made and ultimately back here to have them correct the prescription. They would not send the glasses to be remade from their office. Dissapointed beyond words.

Sophie Lamb: Everything was very of the norm for a doctors appointment up until I entered the exam room. When I got in there the nurse informed me that they did not take my insurance and wanted to know if I still wanted to proceed with care. I was in shock because when I called to make the appointment I gave the tech my insurance and at no point did she tell me they did not cover my insurance. They even called and confirmed the day before my appointment and when I got to the office I gave the receptionist my ID and insurance card and at no point was I ever told that my insurance was not covered under their care. The nurse who informed me was very nice, however it was just so disappointing and unprofessional that I wasted my time making the appointment, waiting a month for the appointment and then actually going there when I could have avoided all of this.

Elle Lang: I decided I needed to see an optamolagist BC I had a sudden decrease in vision in one eye, and a lot of new floater haze.This practice came recommended and was in my neighborhood.The staff all behaved as if they were working in a hostile environment.Totally unfriendly and lacking in any sort of empathy ,kindness or compassion. They all acted like robots who hated being at work. Especially the technician who did the preliminary.The doctor was very thorough and informative, explained everythinghe was doing and seeing during the exam . He was also all ego. No empathy.The retina test was unbearably painful and I couldn't help reacting while he was poking me in the eye.He abruptly stated I needed to see a specialist immediately who would "also be poking around in there" then left the room. That was the last I saw or heard from him .BC I am uninsured I asked them to find out how much a visit to the retina specialist was going to be since they were insisting on making the appointment for me immediately.It was way more than I could afford, the visit to them was already putting me over the edge.So I said I wouldn't be going to the specialist and needed to speak to my family first.Then the woman at the desk started reminding me that this could be very dangerous bc I could lose eyesight.That still didn't change the fact that I can't afford to go to a specialist. And she was speaking to me like I was some sort of idiot who couldn't make my own decisions .During the exam,I had to have my eyes dialated and was told on confirmation of my appointment I would be fine driving home, the sunlight was blinding and I was crawling bc I couldn't see while driving and didn't want to have an accident.When I got home I called them immediately and said I wasn't "fine" driving home, the person I spoke to said it's a personal comfort thing and legally you can drive when your eyes have been dilated.Later I was telling my neighbor who is a NP, about my drive home and she said" They didn't give you glasses to drive home with? They always do that when you get your eyes dilated".Then I remembered when I confirmed my appointment they told me they give the patient glasses for the drive home.I guess the patient is supposed to remind them ?I don't care how experienced, or how much modern technology this place has, these people are jerks.I wasted $200 .No I don't recommend this practice.As it turned out what I needed was a new eyeglasses rx and the optometrist did a retina camera test which showed nothing to be concerned about at present.

A young lady took me back to a room and took my information about why I was there, looked at my eyes, then put eye drops in my eyes and said the doctor would be in soon. After sitting in the room for awhile i kept hearing women laughing and having a good time, then it suddenly got quiet. After being in the room 40 minutes l thought they left and forgot me. I went out into the hall and started asking if anyone was there. Finally after 45 minutes the doctor finally showed up. NOT COOL!!

Jeanne Weber: Our daughter was having blurred vision and headaches. She saw her primary care doctor several times as well as an Urgent Care doctor. Instructions were to go out for walks and not to read too much - told to a very active senior in her last 2 months of high school. Luckily, my niece is a neuroscientist. She insisted that blurred vision is a neuroligical issue and that we had to push her primary care doctor to do more. He referred us to the ER to have testing done. After ruling out MS and other issues, the neurologists came into her room with research from Wikipedia! They had no idea what was wrong with her. One doctor finally recommended that an ophthalmologist see her. Dr. Schell saw her the next morning at 9am and by 10am we were in the neurologist's office after the two doctors had conferred. Dr. Schell had diagnosed my daughter with Pseudo-tumor almost immediately after evaluating her and her X-rays. Fluid causing pressure on her eyes and brain was removed by her neurologist. Had Dr. Schell not have been so knowledgeable and talented, she could have lost her eyesight. We are forever grateful for his care.

The surgery itself was quick and painless - Dr. Brinton did a great job making me feel comfortable with the procedure. They gave me written instructions for post-op care and reviewed with me so I felt confident leaving. I am 48-hours post op and don’t really have any discomfort or any vision issues. I will be forever grateful for this scientific miracle.They did pressure me to give a review during my follow-up by bribing me with a t-shirt, which I did not appreciate, and I think the quality of their work does not require such behavior. Nevertheless, I am very very happy with the results and will recommend to my friends and family.
