Don Keenan: I don't expect or care about them being nice. That doesn't get to me. What gets to me is the extremely long lines for 1 cashier and no other staff. It's to the point where before I start looking at items, I know to first look at the waiting line to decide if it's worth looking around bc its been proven too often there isn't enough staff to help with it.

And another one of my fav lil stores of I can't find something at schnucks or on a tighter budget I go here
Love Peony: I often buy half of my groceries (fresh produce, fruits, peanut butter, flour, ice cream etc) at this store, which are of good quality with Kroger brand at low price, or well known brands at a reasonable price. Often, when their items are on sale, they're the best buy among other stores, including Aldi. Their frozen seafood and other bulk pack frozen food items are quite popular, and they're sold out fast too. Overall, I am a satisfied customer, even though I ever returned to the store a few times for incorrect price charged at the registers. Most employees I met there are friendly and willing to help customers.
Rick Weule: We have gone there several times and each time it was very good. Ruler supplies Kroger products. The fresh vegetables and leaves are very good. The fresh arugula is terrific. Very good price for brussel sprouts.The only issue was the lower number of carts. Was told someone stole quite a few.We will definitely return.

Jamie Mezei: I enjoy coming here. Not the biggest produce section, and even the selection they do have does not have a large quantity of each product. I've never gotten all my ingredients from here, but you can expect to get a good amount of items. For some reason I can never find chocolate almond milk here. Some employees go above and beyond with kindness, and others don't seem to enjoy working here. Very good snack aisle, and a good amount of frozen foods. The meat prices are the best I've seen around the St. Louis area. Also, the carts never seem to have quarters in them, so the parking lot is a cluster of carts everywhere.

Will R: Kroger store brands always very reliable & best value compared to other store brands. Staff have been courteous, helpful & efficient when I'm there. No chronic shortage problems on anything I shop for & they've held the pricing down on groceries more than other grocery stores I shop.

ArchangelsBIG Media: This place has good prices, but they don’t do Apple Pay or Samsung pay. Contactless payment is at small businesses all over Granite City, and the fact they don’t have it is very annoying. I can accept that it’s my fault if I load up a cart full of groceries but forgot I gave my debit card to my wife; but that’s exactly the kind of situation Apple Pay is for. I had to leave almost $200 worth of groceries behind and go shopping at ALDIsSo; is it worth the extra 4 minutes to drive to ALDIs just so I *know* I can always pay the bill? Maybe it is. But that seems like a lot of money that Ruler Foods is going to leave on the table.

Eli Williams: I always enjoy shopping at ruler Foods because they always have great sales and great employees and they do their best to keep the store stocked and clean. This store has great prices and you got to check out their sales because they can generally get you a great product at a great price
Shawn Desper (Castlevania Guy 86): The past couple times I've been here items have rang up incorrectly despite what their price signs say and we've had to take pictures to prove it as we were told repeatedly we were in correct and management refused to fix it. Not going back here until their fix their management and pricing issues.

A place to go to get good food and drinks for various dietary needs (ex. organic, low salt, low cholesterol, fat free, and fully loaded originals) without excessive advertising, choices, and constant price changing because of a "sale" or "coupon".The Kroger brands were so much better quality and price it caused us quit Aldi, who seems to have moved into non-food and boutique items for their store line-up.Highly recommend first timers go to Ruler for first trip with plenty of time, during off peak times (non Sat Sun daytime), and better staff assistance.Riverfront Times Mag named Ruler Foods best grocery store 2022 (Sept 26-Oct 4 issue).
Taylor Bailey: The manager, Karen, lives up to her name. Rude to her employees and rude to customers. Overall shopping experience I would rate a 4, great prices, the other staff is friendly. But the checkout experience was terrible.
Astenos: I love rulers. Some canned foods not so great but I’ve cream, milk and snacks are affordable and taste good if not better than some name brands.
Hedy Hahn: I really like this store. It’s big and clean and most of the employees are very nice. Yes, there are lines sometimes, but they go fast. I think the lady manager isn’t the nicest though. Had a few dealings with her and she is lacking in personal skills. But the store itself is fabulous!
