seema indian groceries: what do users think?
harish k: Good store.
Naresh Kumar Garapati: Doesn't deserve even the 1 star. No price tags and at the counter they surprise us with exorbitant prices. Inaddition, they sell cheap quality old items and the staff is rude when questioned about these. Stay away from this store, mom and pop stores back in India are a lot better than this store. I always used to wonder why the crowd here is less compared to the Asian spices grocery store near by. Now, i have enough reasons to be convinced:)
Goutham Reddy: Good Store & Great Indian items available
Ankita kapoor: Rude behavior of staff to customers. Highly priced items in comparison to other Indian stores.
Anuradhika Puri: Very rude counter guy, no sense of talking with customers.Overpriced everything with $5-6, and no clear price tag on each items.Never ever want to visit any seema store again.
Vipila Bathvar: We got lots of things that we couldn’t find from others.
Santhakumar A: Nice place. All indian products are available.
Ankur Choudhary: Really good store with almost everything when it comes to Indian grocery.
Sakshi Bhardwaj: 1) Super expensive. Indian store in every small town in U.S is less expensive that this store in St Louis.2) No price tags. You will overpay at the checkout counter.I wil never revisit.Advice for people thinking of visiting this store: For honest reviews, do read all reviews about expired product, overpricing, and rude staff.
Ankit Agrawal: Pathetic Grocery store I have ever visited. Price tags are missing or deliberately misplaced to fool customers in buying without realizing the cost. Also, every product was more expensive than other grocery stores. Avoid going to this store, it’s not worth your time.
P.NISHA PARMAR: Very nice and clean store.
Vidya Kadam: Check expirey date before buying.
Ruturaj Acharekar: Please DO NOT VISIT this store. If there was a negative star. I would have given it because. These guys are blatant robbers. I brought sweet’s from them and all the three the people, one lady with the glasses and 2 healthy men who were working there sitting there when I brought those sweet’s. All the sweet’s that I brought from them had fungus and rotting thing come out of it. Somehow when buying did not take the printed bill they were giving me. When I went back the next day to replace or get my money back. They said no because it was there policy that don’t take back the sold items and if they take it they need some kind of bill. I told him please check the register print the bill form there. They were reluctant and made a fuss saying it’s not working and it’s too much of efforts. I was so annoyed by all of them. This how they do business and fail. They do not have to business ethics. That is the reason why people tend to visit other Indian grocery stores. They tend to take advantage of being the only Indian store in the Maryland Heights. I would not recommend any Indian or American personal to visit this store. There fridge is always damaged. And the food on the shelf is always expired.
Agnes AJ: If you are interested in learning how to make delicious Indian food, this place is pretty much your one stop shopping place for all of the most common ingredients needed for that type of cuisine. In fact, many items such as fresh turmeric and Indian Black Salt, I haven't been able to find anywhere else. However, the one thing I find really annoying is that, many of their products on the shelves don't have any prices so you don't know how much it costs until you go to check out. So a few things I've had to put back because they were more than I wanted to pay. Finally, their homemade samosas are INCREDIBLE!!!! I highly recommend Seema's.
Naveen Reddy: good for everything...
Kundanika Adkuloo: Great choice of items but expensive
Arun Thapa: Rude cashier with unprofessional behavior.
Jeevanthika Ratan: I didn't find many options here, also got a product which was expired very long back mistakenly so would suggest everyone to check for expiry dates before buying products there also they are pricey.
Dhara Jhaveri: Great place for Indian grocery stuff
George Manoli: Very friendly and professional staff. Always very clean. Have to remember this not a full size grocery store but they have a very good selection. We will always go to this store on Dorset Rd.
Donna Witteried: Nice selection. Wish there was more fresh produce though.

Megan H: FABULOUS!!!!! Had a huge selection.
Somesh M: Almost 80% of their stock are expired stuff. Try to avoid this store at any cost even if they give their products for free. Not the first time, I convinced myself and visited the store for 3 times, everytime I ended up arguing with the store representative about selling me expired products. Highlight thing is they will even argue being themselves guilty.
Huliyar Arjuna: Moving to an adjacent building in February from what I was told.
ANONYMOUS Google user: Old register. No price tag and expensive
abodha devkota: Usually I got date expired items
Aam Fraternal: Bought paneer jalebi. It has fungus in it. Please look pictures attached.

Zeeshan K: The One-Stop-Shop for everything Indian.
Brij Vaid: Very courteous, excellent service.
Siddiqa Mohammad: Good customer service but very high price. Ex. The ramen noodles I buy from other desi grocery stores for .50 is .99 here.
S T: No barcode scanner available and the receipt doesn't show what exactly you bought. It's an old school way to mask so that customers don't know what price each product would cost them. Many products doesn't have price tags on them. 1 star are just for availability of different brands.Con : Very ExpensivePro : Location

Recently I bought a product which got expired in 2018, they told that they can't give back the money because the customer needs to check the expiry date before buying.
