St. Louis Housing Authority: what do users think?
Brent Daugherty: When I learned that I had to find a new place to live I called. The lady I spoke to was rather gruff and told me I missed the deadline to apply and then said I shouldn't be taking up spaces for thoses that need them.
Brittany J: A worker warned me indirectly to save my life and stay away from this place. I was told first come, first sold. If an agency is treating you bad , it’s a clear sign the place is not for you. I found when businesses go out of their way to be rude it’s a blessing in disguise. If you have a place to stay you can work some easy jobs to get yourself up. Warehouse, casual dinning, work from home, many easy wfh jobs in customer service. Do your research.
Renija Barnes: First off I called to Ask about something on my application and I was immediately met with disrespect and a bad attitude. She asked for my social security and hung up on me which was very odd. After she hung up it took her 10 call backs or more to pick up the phone. And when she finally picked up she became very combative with me for no apparent reason. She need to be fired. It shouldn't have been that much confusion on a couple of questions that I had. And by the way she was acting, I don't even trust her with my private information because of her delivery. If anything come up on my name after this date I know who to point fingers at. 💯
CIARRA Brown (Big C): Much quicker visit than I've had in past experiences.
Shirley Ralph: First I thank God housing authority been around along time I remember when they was on laclede well lindell blvd I catch a cab me and my son and get their about 7.:45am appointment its different now but every body need a roof over there head and keep it clean and pay rent on time
Me Me: What's really baffling to me is the restaurants are open at 50% capacity but the St Louis Housing authority is not and then we're calling our caseworkers and they're at home but they're not answering the phone so might as well open back up. Tory Blu is only person who has returned my calls.Update: 5 case workers sincnov.Calling caseworker since since Dec 29, here in person no knows anything.
Samantha Moore: When on the list since 2014 I have been homeless and still no help
Hiedi Hi: Place of business. Better than it has been. Mask required, enter through back parking lot
Marquisha Mullins: They good people! I believe everybody deserves who needs help deserves help.
April Luckett: Horrible they be losing people important paperwork
Patti Woods: Security guard is very helpful although building is closed toThe public
Wendell Daugherty: Could not get any information about if I was or wasn't on the waiting list 🤔
Monica Williams: They okay
L W: They do not pay their bills. I'm a landlord and have been waiting for payment for 3 months. Ready to evict the tenant.
Shonta Smith: These people have very poor customer service. My mom is elderly and lives on section 8 her building has no current HAP letters since 2017 and now they are threatening to evict my mother who just received a kidney and is not well I sick knowing a government office is not doing their job but if we go to court we will win I know for a fact
CeCi's Crib: I've been calling for months no answer ,I've been emailing everyone no answer I have no client analysis I've been asking for a number to someone who can help me with questions, I wrote a office on appeal in February still no response...I went to office wasn't allowed in still no answer ,I just pray to god I hit a jackpot or something so I can get off of this ...its not easy being on section 8 ,I dont know anything about anything I feel Trapped where I live because how can I ever move if I don't have any help answering a question...idk what to do anymore they just wont respond this is depression daily I'm lost without any clue what to do...covid is over why are t these people helping out the clients
RHONDA DAVIS: Trying to help a client! I have reached out to her caseworker several times no return calls in 48 hours. Emails she doesn’t respond. No one answers the reception phone. She responded via email saying she would call and offered her apologies and that never happened! This office sucks. Tax payers dollars gone to waste while everyone is thinking it’s the recipients it’s the employees who answer to no one not doing there jobs getting paid to do nothing. This lady voice mail is full every day in the evening and empty I. The morning but still no call backs. She is not responding to the landlord to get paperwork moving.
Doree Mahr: I need. Letter saying how much is myRent. Is, my agent is Danial smith,Please have him send income letter.
MrsNubby: No one ever answered there phones what is wrong with these people the operator won't even answer she sits there and let the phone just ring fire her she is worthless
Maureen Meyer: I am not being paid by section 8. What kind of message does that send to tenants. When I inquired why. Reply was they are short staffed and the file is being updated. Already behind 3 months payments. Nov 2021 Dec 2021 and Jan 2022. This happened about a year ago also. They eventually caught up. This hurts when you depend on that income to pay taxes, insurance, bills etc.
Martha Williams: Every tenant isn't bad section 8 and public housing can actually help families get on their feet

Renaissance Place at Grand: what do users think?
Bible Bookie: The amount of times I’ve called to report child neglect is incredible. There is a child in 3435 Delmar blvd. apt D being neglected with drunken addicts for parents who cheat on eachother every other day!! What else can I do other than report and report to an already full voice box! To my understanding this isn’t the first report on this certain apartment and I’m tired of being ignored. ITS A CHILD.
Sharon Adkins: This is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. Managers are unprofessional. Crockroaches, maintenance is horrible. This place should be condemned
Sara Welsh: I would give it a 0 if possible considering I didn’t even get to look at the place. I scheduled a tour through their website and when I arrived (which I traveled 4 hours for since I am moving from out of state), I was told “we don’t do tours.” If you don’t do tours, then how was I able to schedule one on your website? The employee told me that it must have been through a marketing place… weird how these employees know nothing about how tours are booked on their own website.
Briona Jones: The communication from inside of the office is horrible they don't have enough workers they do not answer the phone or return call or even empty the mailbox for future calls . I pay almost $1,000 every month with no assistance and that does not matter I would think they would separate people who are getting assistance from those who have real jobs. You can hear everything you're neighbor says from running up and down the stairs to them closing their doors. Was told I was getting into a new apartment with no neighbors to move in to have neighbors on both sides with grown men and children with just me and my eight year old is uncomfortable. Not able to workout room pool or any of the amenities that were listed in the price prior to moving in been here almost a year and have not been able to get in any. Next step for me it's a speak with a lawyer about my lease have already talked to the Better Business bureau
Ricky Byrd: Only one person working at check out store was packed not good
Denise Burns: I will be applying for a updated unit asap. I spoke with someone name Tiffany, she was very pleasant in helping me get my application done. I look forward to moving to Renaissance at Grand.
Nette girl: Expensive for what pure TRASH then a mother and child had to move out because of HORRIBLE CONDITIONS AND THEY DID NOTHING YES THIS IS RECENT
daphne jenkins: Still waiting to hear back from property manager (Tiffany Petty) about the few verification that she is waiting on since my application is complete. You said in an email that you would contact me on Monday 1/4/21 no responds from you this totally unprofessional as a manager. I'm still waiting for that phone call from (Tenesha )she was suppose to call me back last week that's what was said by (Pandora) when I call on 1/27/21 I guess you all work together on telling people what you think they want to hear. I guess after McCormick reads the email I sent to them then guess some body in Management will contact me then, seems to me that's how it all works on getting a respond back. Still unprofessional
Shaun Booker: Lovely & spacious apartments
Truelove Jackson: If I could give 0 stars I would the Leasing office management is HORRIBLE!! The only reason I DID sign a lease was because my children and I were homeless due to the pandemic.I applied to move into a 2bedrm townhome in January 2020 however I wasnt moved in until May 2020 because the leasing manager Kourtney William's lied about several different things regarding my application. I dont have evictions, bad rental references, im not a sex offender, no bad credit, nothing to stop me from being approved for a place. But I was denied here at Grand Renaissance place Apartments. So I reached out to the corporate office to find out why. The leasing manager Kourtney William's questioned me about contacting corporate I guess she didnt like that idea. So she held up my application saying that it was at their compliance department for over 6 weeks & blaming it on the covid-19 pandemic however Mccormack Baron were still operating remotely from home during the pandemic and were not closed. But the leasing manager lied to me so that I could go else were to look for housing.I have reached out to the area manager and regional director via email of this complex and havent heard anything back from either of them. I've contacted the management team at the corporate office as well. I was finally moved in FOUR MONTHS after applying and 3 months after being approved. (After falsely being denied)I did a walk thru a month before move in (4/09) letting the Manager Kourtney know that the carpet and washer and dryer was unacceptable she agreed it was and said that she would have it removed b4 i moved in.However I was moved into the unit with the same old carpet and washer and dryer. The carpet very old with cigarette burns and stains from previous tenant, dented up molded refrigerator, ROACHES, a Mildew washer and dryer (that I cannot use), a dishwasher filled with brown grime (that I cannot use). My kitchen cabinets cannot be used they are extremely filthy, I have the cabinets tied closed because when I moved in there were roach nest and droppings in them. This company Mccormack Baron is horrible with answering complaints of tenants. Once you have signed that 12 month lease nothing else matters but that monthly payment.J. Woodfork
Brittney S: Units are nice but the process..is not. Applied in October and management played around until November so they could get as much rent as possible out of me since it “changes by the day” which is also BS. The rent I was originally quoted is $100 LESS than what they later came back and expected. Plus, In the middle of my process the Only leasing consultant they have just up and left and never even explained nor apologized for the situation. If it wasn’t for me being resilient the other office workers would have shoo’ed me away until she got back. On top of that, there’s a catch to their “promotion” that they renew every month..you have to pay 3 months of rent FIRST. I just know it better not be a problem getting the promotion because with this staff you’ll never know what they’ll “forget”. Upon moving in, I had to put in several emergency request such as a clogged drain in my SHOWER, broken stove exhaust, faucet, alarm and the list goes on. Its been a month since move in and I still dont even have my Fitness Center access which is SUPPOSED to be an amenity. Nice community and I love my unit but the people here don’t care at all. I will definitely make it my business while being here to get some awareness on the Incompetence of their staff, I don’t care who they have to fire since my rent is well over 1K/month.(2bdrm townhome, not even a 3bdrm). Bottom line: They just lucky its nice and I NEEDED to move.
Rochelle Ross: I have been staying here for about 4yrs and this last year it has been so unprofessional and unorganized due to management. When u talk to the corporate office it's no better any mistakes that are made on their part it's just a minor one they didn't take care of the lawn this past summer, I had maintenance request that online its was stated it was done but not and I was told then it was a mistake .
Candace Gaddie: Units are nice but staff needs training and managment is impossible to reach and does not follow up. Not impressed at all.
Princewill Okorie: Excellent
chocolate 47: Very nice, quiet, clean place to stay. I love my garden style home,The staff are professional and listens to all concerns..
Patrick Bonner: I have lived here for three years with no complaints. The neighbors are quiet, friendly, and respecting my privacy. The staff is very professional and helpful. Rent is what you would expect from being in a central location, no more or less. The in-home washer/dryer/dishwasher are a very nice addition. The apartments are in good condition. I love the open layout and the large number of windows. Plus the grounds are well-maintained. The community is very secure. Each unit has a motion-activated security system and panic button. The parking is gated and each unit requires a key or a buzz-in to gain access.I can recommend living here to anyone without hesitation.
shalisse williams: If i had an ability to give 0 stars that would be my first and only choice. I have never received such horrible service from anywhere like i have here. Service was horrible. instead of answering the phone and asking who's calling they screen their calls by checking caller ID. When you ask for a supervisor they give you the run around. It took an incredibly long time for them to get back to me on something that was important. I have never been so dissatisfied in my life than I have, while dealing with this company. If you have a choice I would recommend you choose a different rental property.

275 on the Park: what do users think?
Helen Young: The rent is very expensive considering I live in a studio apartment. There is no fitness room and no place for yoga. I was told I could potentially share yoga here for the residents to help with my rent and then construction happened and that never came to fruition. It took two months to fix my heat and I went without hot water for three days even though I'm paying for mine and everyone else's gas to heat the water. All that to say, I love my little space near the park.
TJ Ford: Please note that any positive reviews are almost exclusively about the leasing/sales team here. Residents were given cash incentives to leave positive reviews. The leasing team is very friendly but this review reflects the actual physical “community” and its management company.Moved here during the summer of 2022. Posting my thoughts as I wish I had heeded some of the other online reviews. New "management" has been even less responsive and communicative than the team when I moved in.Issues:- Managemento Generally does nothing to solve concerns. They are dismally inconsistent with simple things like responding to emails, and responses are often week(s) late while failing to directly respond to questions or offer solutions. Every quarter they try to open some new line of communication (the latest one is an AI-texting system) instead of just increasing staff and getting their hands dirty.o Multiple residents have brought concerns about being asked to move into either an a) uncleaned unit or b) unit that did not comply with agreed upon terms (like no carpet).o Some utilities, including gas, are not individually metered. This means that management will try to charge you for other peoples’ heat. They also nickel and dime for things like “community fees” (disclaimer: this may fund the "community events" scheduled during the 9-5 workday).o It seems like the current investor is trying to throw cheap fixes at everything and that the general contractor is a major "lowest bid wins no matter what" guy for subs.- Safetyo I (as well as many other residents) had multiple packages stolen from the mailroom. It took weeks for management to change the system from the first incident. Packages were visibly torn open and rifled through. Management did nothing to compensate residents nor did they outline a process for fixing the threat to security.o Multiple residents have reported vehicular break-in’s in the property parking lots. There is no nighttime security, although there was for a while this summer.o TV’s have been repeatedly stolen from common areas, which are illuminated around the clock and on the main floors.o Multiple bike thefts have been reported.- Qualityo Maintenance is slow to respond to resident requests. It seems like they are undermanned and underequipped.o Construction and renovation is laughingly behind the schedule I was given. Any communication regards closures or buildings having their heat/water/electricity shut off for entire days.o Most buildings still use an external laundry trailer.o The gym was supposed to open in November but is still barred.o Outdoor amenities are not as advertised. The pool has mold spots, is make shift, and makes a seedy motel look like the Ritz Carlton. Outdoor pavilion has decaying furniture and broken grills. It’s a shame that such beautiful, historic buildings have fallen to such incompetent, greedy hands. The lack of concern for residents (and lack of business acumen) is staggering.
Valerie Hurt: Everything was great
Hendrix Hendrix: Jasmine & Allison were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and wonderful! Thanks for the fantastic Hospitality.😊
Nick Telarico: BUYER BEWARE: Amenities not as advertised, no in-unit laundry, no gym, everything is under construction. They've cycled through 3 or 4 property managers in the short year I've lived here.Update: Things haven’t improved much, but Marshiana does seem to be taking care of things quite matter-of-factly as she can. I appreciate her efforts.
Megha: Don’t move here unless you’d like to experience harassment. You don’t get to control the heat in your apartment and the management decides when to turn it off or on. So goodluck shivering in your own apartment in extreme cold weather :) You won’t ever be compensated for falling sick, its the price you pay for making a bad decision to move in here. The laundry room has been shut for last 9 months so enjoy those trips to your friend’s place to get your clothes washed. And you won’t get your packages. So don’t even try ordering anything here. Things that I ordered online to gift people for events were all stolen or lost. So I had to go empty handed to big parties, what fun! :)They installed a lock to the building door that doesn’t have a code, so enjoy your trips to the lobby every time you have anyone or anything coming in. Yes! A separate trip for every incoming guest :)The management here changes faster than the turnaround time for maintenance requests. So that means none of your maintenance needs are going to be met
Jae K: I live in the Annex building. Marshiana and the rest of the staff are pleasant and easy to work with. I have no complaints thus far. Keep up the good work.
Michaela: Please read before you want to rent or even apply!!!!!I am so glad and grateful that I read the ratings before I sign contract. I would give zero if possible. I am not a resident here. I was just an applicant who setup the application portal online but ended up with somewhere else. I kept receiving phone calls from Jasmine along the application and she was very welcoming and reachable when I still had the tendency to sign the lease. After I told her that I would not proceed with the application and pay LibertyRent one-month rental for the credential approval, she stopped calling couple times a day to push me for the contract———I totally understand this normal business practice. However, I got my first thousand dollar bill couple days ago while I neither am a resident nor have signed any contract. I wrote email to Jasmine thinking she was reachable and helpful and I never got replied. I had to call the office but no one ever answered the phone. I also forwarded the email to the management team but still got nothing back. I am so glad that I slowed down with the leasing process after I read the Google comments and quitted after thinking over. I couldn’t imagine how frustrated being a resident there and encounter some issues while the management never responds. I thank all the people who put warnings and commented here. If you read till here, please take a moment to think over about applying and you will never need to receive the ridiculous bill as I did. Some updates: they outsourced the bill to a third party to collect it from me. This is ridiculous. I had to dispute the bill and requested the third company to provide me with a signed lease (which for certain doesn’t exist since I never sign it). Please think over and over again before you even attempt to apply!!!!!!!
Haley Boswell: My partner and I toured the Westmoreland studios recently with Jasmine and had such an amazing time. She was able to answer all of our questions and work within our budget. Jasmine went above and beyond to ensure we got our application turned in (when there was a deadline she called before her lunch break to remind us!) She really deserves a raise!!
shaddy ponton: Horrible management. I have spent two months without water pressure in the toilet, a clogged pipe, today i dont have hot water, i’ll do myself a favor and move out after two months.
Jenna Renken: Jasmine did amazing showing me around 275 today! really highlighted all of the amenities 275 has to offer! Thank you Jasmine!
Josh Deffenbaugh: Came for a tour scheduled at 2:30. Had to wait 40 minutes for staff to "finish" their lunch. Apartments listed on website were not those available. They said the building was built in 1960 when it was actually built in the 20s. Real estate agents tried to push us to sign a lease by offering same-day deals. Took them 10 minutes to give my ID back. The agents were incredibly disorganized handling elevator maintenance, packages, and they did not have their own office. They sit in the lobby to handle business. I do not recommend booking a tour here.
Kendrah Underwood: We have new management that is headed in the right direction by hearing resident concerns and quickly acting to improve our experience. Thanks, Marshiana Shaw, new property manager for hearing and addressing my concerns. I'm looking forward to a better experience under her leadership at 275 on the Park
Gavin Gasparovic: I would not recommend living here. The building is poorly managed and maintained. There is no sense of community and the amenities advertised were mostly not available during my stay. Issues often go unresolved with management for long periods of time.I would run away from this building and rental company.
Kathryn Lavender: Jasmine was the best tour guide and so sweet!
Meg Grice: Current resident here, and probably considering a move in the future once my one year lease is up. This place is not worth your money. Not only are these apartments outlandishly expensive, you are expected to pay the entire property's utilities on top of your own. While the front desk, maintenance and assistant staff are usually very accommodating in person, the level of monetary respect is underwhelming. The Annex (where I currently live) isn't too bad for condition, but you'd expect that of a fairly new building right? Any of the other buildings on the property are constantly going through renovations, broken elevators, pests, you name it. The worst of it is, no one is properly compensated for these inconveniences (aside from snacks, so revolutionary). It's a classic case of "let's make money off of you while performing some of the most bothersome upgrades while you are still trying to live here, like no power." Imagine trying to deal with that in winter.Definitely have more I could say, but to keep it short, don't live here. Rant over! :)
Tara Johnson: New management is awful. Liars and unprofessional! The place is so ugly inside and dirty I would never recommend these apartments to anyone
Jetuwr Davis: I had a tour here recently with Jasmine from the leasing office. She was well-prepared, asked good questions, and showed me every apartment I requested. She went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered. Although I don’t think this place is a good fit for me, she was really helpful throughout the process !
Oksana Goncharenko: Had absolute pleasure working with leasing office of 275 on a park, and especially with Jasmine Newton, she helped me to find a perfect apartment. She was amazingly helpful, professional and pleasant to deal with. Stress free, fast application process, all because of Jasmine. Thank you.
kayla simpson: Just moved in here in November and i wish I didn’t. Got told if I move in by said date we wouldn’t have to pay first month rent which was super nice, but the apartment wasn’t even ready for us to move into AT ALL!! The first week was nice whatever problems we had they were happy to fix. Fast forward some time and now they don’t even respond to emails or anything. I have tried getting in touch with so many people at the office and no one gets back to you. I have even gone to there office and left mynumber with someone new and they still ignored me. I have been requesting works order or even trying to talk to someone about how to set it up and they couldn’t care less to help anyone I have been emailing about ROACHES AND BUGS being in my apartment and they don’t care about that. Honestly if you’re looking to move just go else where and save your money for someone who deserves it. They have been having issues since a flood of last year and that causes your rent to go up 100 every single month you have to pay even though you didn’t live here at the time of THEIR problems. They seem super nice and all for you at the beginning but it’s just a ruse.
YUTIAN XU: Living here is the WORST decision ever. It made me depressed. RUN!!!!

Park 44 Apartments: what do users think?
BJ Whiffen: Great and speedy response to air conditioning problem. Larry is the best!
Aunya Harris: Loved living here. I miss it so much. It was so clean and kept up nicely. Selena was an amazing property manager and maintenance was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Mualla Ozcan: I have lived here for more than 1.5 years and I can say that I had no issues at all. If you decide to live here, your neighbors will be mostly WashU postdocs, grad or med students. You will feel like you live on campus. Their management staff is the best, Selina and Dottye were always so kind to me and when I ask for help they fixed the issues pretty quickly. I moved to Park 44 from overseas at the beginning of 2021 and before I moved here, they let IKEA and Amazon guys drop some furniture at my new apt so that I directly stayed at my new apt from day 1. When I was expecting the delivery of my passport from the consulate and asked for their help to keep the package in a safe place, they even observed the USPS mailman and helped me get my passport smoothly. I will never forget your favor to me! When I hear stories from friends living in other apartment complexes, I feel so thankful that my first experience in St Louis was the best. I appreciate everything you did! ♥️
Christopher Kaiho: Having a good onsite management and maintainance team makes a big difference. The management is responsive and has followed through very effectively. I had a broken drain and other maintainance problems and they were fixed right away. I was pleasantly shocked and very impressed. The units are reasonably clean, well maintained and also, surprisingly, relatively bug-free. I recommend this building for people working in this area.
Sunny: Banner Management owns and maintains this property. Their management staff is god awful and I advise future tenants to look elsewhere. There are plenty of apartment complexes being built in the area so I advise you stay away from Park 44 and the Enclave At Winghaven in O’Fallon. Don’t be fooled by the property managers sweet talking while you visit or when you sign a lease
Safal: Park 44 Apartment is a great place to live. I have lived here for about six months now. It is close to Forest Park for a walk/run, Whole Food, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, library, etc. The management team and maintenance staff are excellent. The maintenance requests get completed promptly. They have covered parking, on-site laundry, and a shared outdoor courtyard. Come check them out.
Reza Ghasemi: I have been living in this place for 5 years and I would say that it is the best place in CWE. The place is super clean, calm, safe, and close to my workplace (WashU Med Campus). Very safe area, nice & supportive staffs, great maintenance and services. I would definitely recommend everyone to live in here. Good luck. Reza
Emily M: My first apartment in St Louis. Instantly felt comfortable and welcome here when I was given a tour and then when I moved in. I've lived here for over a year now with no complaints. Maintenance is always timely and the apartment is the perfect walking distance from restaurants and the park. Apartment itself was all updated when I moved in and really clean. Office staff are always so friendly!!
Matei Stefanescu: I was a resident from 2018-2020 and aside from the apartments themselves being modest (not luxury) this is an apartment you’ll want to get before their prices go up.The maintenance team is superb getting to my requests most often within the day. The leasing office is professional and helpful where they can be. The location is likely one of the best in STL for this budget range with a 15 min walk to the heart of the west end, and a 25 min one to Forest Park. The residents are also pretty chill. The appliances are brand new, at least mine were. I have zero complaints. Again the only detracting factor is that the apartments themselves are modest and smallish, but for what you’re paying for I couldn’t ask for a better experience. There are other apartment complexes in the central west end that I know abuse their residents or are in dangerous locations, and I can confirm that this is a gem of a place if you’re fine with the humble design.
mahdjoub hamdi: I suggest this residence for those who are seeking for a nice and quite neighbors. The administrative stuff is nice, professional and very responsive.
Samantha Wogoman: Highly recommend these apartments! Management is helpful and friendly. Studio apartments are surprisingly spacious with lots of closet space!
B. S.: The staff and maintenance does a wonderful job in the upkeep of the property they are always attentive to make sure your requests are answered in a timely fashion.
Debra Wang: Staffs are friendly! Heat and air conditioning are included in the rent! I have been living here for 13 months and my packages have never been lost or stolen! Maintenance staffs are also friendly and helpful!
Nischal Khanal: Moved into this complex about three months ago and have loved it here. All the appliances were replaced with brand new ones prior to my moving in. I submitted a maintenance request for a few things I noticed after moving in (a missing blind, closet door out of alignment, etc.) and all of the issues were resolved within a few days. The management staff have all been wonderful to interact with and very responsive to questions and requests. The quality of the building is above average (no cracks in ceiling/walls, kitchen counters and cabinets and bathroom tiling and fixtures in excellent condition, etc.) The laundry machines are located on floors 2 and 4 and have multiple machines so I rarely find myself waiting even during peak hours. Internet was already pre-wired for Spectrum so it was an easy setup.Overall a great place to live at a fair price for a college student!
Camryn Bates: Amazing and a steal! Great and safe location in the CWE. I loved my little loft so much. High two story window and lofted bedroom. I had a Juliet balcony AND a rooftop balcony. So so so much closer space and multiple full size mirrors which made the upstairs look so cute and modern. People are quiet and neighbors are respectful of each other. Getting packages and letting people inside through my phone was always easy. Shared laundry but was never a problem and could usually get all 3 loads done at once. Trash Shute super convenient and recycling available which is important to me! Garage is well lit and safe, but I did get my car nicked by the poles in the garage a few times because the spaces are a bit tight, so just be careful when parking. Good water pressure in shower. Maintenance team very nice and friendly and always responded to any issue right away. Best thing about Park 44 is the extremely nice and supportive management. Always respond to anything you need right away and always so happy to help. We even got new managers halfway through my stay and the new ones were just as wonderful. Small downfalls would include the kitchen and bathroom being a little on the smaller side. Not much overhead lighting in the downstairs. And in my first couple weeks I had a few roaches... but the maintenance guys came and sprayed and set up some traps right away, which took care of them for the rest of my stay. The hallways always have a funny smell to them, but the smell in my unit was fine. It is an older building, but you don’t realize that because of how modern they have made it look, with all new appliances, and carpet cleaning/wall painting in between residents. Would absolutely recommend Park 44 apartments for the unique and cozy style, safe vibes, and quality location, all for a reasonable price. If I ever move back to St Louis I will definitely be moving back there!
Sami Holder: Awesome place to live. 6 minute walk to Whole Foods and Shake Shack! 10 minute walk to Forest Park. Nice apartments and very safe building. Only downside is the lack of washer/dryers.
Brandon Jocher: Very nice apartment complex. The loft bedroom apartments are designed nicely, and are recently renovated. The first floor comes with a small patio which is great, and overall the building is kept clean. Indoor and outdoor parking is also very convenient.
Laura Collins: I have lived at a variety of apartment complexes in Saint Louis and Columbia and Park 44 has been the best by far. The office staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The maintenance staff complete work orders quickly and efficiently and are friendly as well. I have not had any issues with noise here, it is typically quiet both during the day and at night. Covered, secure, underground parking is an extra fee but definitely worth it. The location is great--walking distance to BJC hospitals and the Central West End. Park 44 is an amazing place to live and I highly recommend it!
Jamie Moffa: I love the loft style apartments! They come with stainless steel kitchen appliances, plenty of floor space, and plenty of closet space! Some have a half bath downstairs, which is really convenient. Some also have a balcony or patio. I love my patio, it's great for studying and reading outside. The apartment has minimal noise, and great staff and maintenance. The central outdoor area looks beautiful as well, and has grills to cook on. Overall a great space!
Alexandra Mei: I just moved here and love my apartment! The team here is very helpful and welcoming, and any maintenance needs that have come up were addressed immediately by Larry. The loft apartment is spacious and has a lot of character. And the location is perfect in the CWE: quiet yet close to everything.
Brian Sondag: Lived here for 3 years and have had a good experience. Maintenance is very quick with responding to requests and the management is very friendly.

St. Luke's Plaza Apartments: what do users think?
NaeNae Gibbs: And they had the nerve to deny my son of his application going off of his family member background that does not make any sense to me I'm so glad I came to the reviews and I did call the BBB on them
Dron: The young pregnant women at the front office is very rude and has a very nasty attitude and is very condescending.
Sherry Sed: If I could give this a -1 I would. The apartments are STILL DISGUSTING and have a fowl odor in the hallway that was covered up with pine sol. What's worse is the customer service. Mrs./Ms Gregory and her associates were very unprofessional and borderline ignorant. I watched as a tenant was asking the status of her lease. Instead of helping they just stood there and belittled tenant. I asked for the customer service number and was waved off by what looked to be a high school child working as a secretary. The whole experience today at this establishment was unbelievably unprofessional and nauseating.
Crystal Carter: Unprofessional and do not care about their residents at all!
MrPhenom11 Reese: I lived there for 2yrs and every time I had a problem. I was vandelized at my apartment romm 301. I told them about they did nothing except say we need pictures and before i left they saw what happened to my door. Writing on door food left in front of door. Women's female products along with urine were in front of my place. Daily gunfire. Very little security and they went up on rent after lease is up which is not fair at all.
Karlie Pruitt: Currently waiting on my lease to be terminated they dont fix anything until they feel like it or you keep calling about the same problem. People sell drugs in the buildings so drug addicts run in and out of you supposed to be secured building but the entrance doors dont lock. The balcony with the so called view is infested with regular ants and red ants. My fridge was broken since November of 2018 i just got someone elses fridge from another building 2 days ago and now its leaking everywhere the leasing office is so unresponsive, ghetto, and unprofessional. If you lik a messy unsafe environment then st.Lukes is the place for you be prepared for your car to be broken into your car hit and keep your kids out of the grass because everwhere you turn its needles in the grass in the middle of the street in your hallway because the drug addicts run Enright Ave!
Londyn mom: I have not complaints really the only thing is it doesnt get too warm wen the heat is on bit other then tht i love my place and i will cherish my place until god bless me with something else better💯💯💯💯
Shanee White: IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 100 STARS I WOULD. Its been a total of 5 landlords between 2017 to now and all of them are horrible at they job. Especially that Ms. Churchill (the lady with the gold tooth) They rude to people all because they don't know how to run an apartment. I experienced roaches, mice and bedbugs and they never took care of it. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!! BECAUSE THEY LIE!!!
DJ B. Smooth: I recomend nobody to never move in these apartments the change of management dont do they job and do not respond to any fix orders and when its a lot of snow out they dont shovel no snow because if somebody fall its a lawsuit
Adrienne Candace: I was not given the apartment that they showed me and told me that I was to receive. The violence in and around the complex is very scary/disturbing, and an elderly lady got shot. My car was broken into. One day I heard gunshots, I looked out my window and it was 2 people in the complex parking lot just shooting in the air like it was a regular day in the neighborhood. Hearing gunshots is the norm there. The office staff were very unprofessional. I broke my lease and moved, couldn’t take the stress there. Save your money and your life by finding another complex.
Leilani Johnson: Front desk are unprofessional and rude .
Breunna Burton: Do not move here!! It's a hang out for a bunch of drug addicts !! Most of the people standing outside hanging out dont leave there, they rarely take care of any complaints and when they do its after putting in 3 maintenance notice for the same thing ... I currently stay here but not for long this is not a place you want to raise your child
Donisha Shackelford: DO NOT LIVE HERE! I rented a studio apartment for one year. It wasn't so bad. Then they started letting ANYONE move in. Every time I pulled up to my apartment their were crackheads and thugs outside. I found out I was pregnant and wanted to switch to a 2 bedroom to have more room for my son. I was told that wouldn't be a problem and all I would have to do is sign a new lease and pay my new rent amount. WRONG! When it got closer to that time they told me I would to pay a new deposit plus first month's rent. I didn't have the money to do that so I renewed my same lease. A month into my new lease my apartment got bedbugs. They said I was responsible for paying for the spraying because my apartment was the only one who had them. THAT WAS A LIE! Other units had them and I even saw other mattresses in the dumpster to prove my point. I even called the exterminator myself and was told this was a recurring problem that happened even before I moved in! It took them weeks to spray and the exterminator broke some of my belongings in the process. St. Luke's expected me to pay my full month's rent plus the extermination fees and I refused. I was willing to pay a prorated amount for rent since I couldn't occupy my apartment. I ended up breaking my lease and it was the best decision I made. There was no way I could have raised my unborn child in that environment. St. Luke's is money hungry and takes advantage of low income people. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
lawanda brown: I was living in this CANT GET RIGHT apartment for 3 years NEVER STAY HERE !!!ITS A NUISANCE PROPERTY( all the panhandlers, crackheads, dopheines) are in these bulidings 5616, 5617, 5622 if u tell the landlord she tells YOU to call the cops! WRONGGGG- LANDLORD/TENETS RIGHTS YOU are responsible for YOUR GUESS only If it's straglers in your building/complex this is the landlord/property manager issueNEVER LET A NEW MAINTENCE MAN IN your apartment maintence team here is a joke those same crackheads you see in your building the property manager Pretella Mitchell will hire them as temps and have them in your unit I've had PLENTY OF bad experiences I've went with out heat for a month and had to use my stove with a child in the home made several complaints then I contacted BBB & my landlord tried to send a traniee in my apartment but I refusedIf Ms. Mitchell says she a do something it will NEVER GET DONE she downsize everything and makes it's seems as if your losing your mind if it's a big problem to you it need to be a big problem to whomever your rent from make sure u keep up with everything because she an unorganized person
Jan Barnett: They are not fit very unprofessional, not organize at all,,my son fill out application on July 24. And today is September 18 ,,,still haven't process his application. So he went today to pick up his deposit,,, I'll never recommend no one to go there,,,don't see how they got a job the way that place is being ran is sad,,then she didn't tell him when he call that he'll be in to pick it up,,they waited until he got there too tell him it will take two- three weeks before they can write him a check,,,so they gave him back the money order now he got to send it back to the company of the money order. They are pitiful at St.Luke's. Don't go there .
Ashley Mccarter: Stay away from this place they tell you everything is good until you move in, we had problems from the time we moved in to the time we left from mice to bees ,outside violance, and a unprofessional propertymanager Ms. Mitchel, and manager most unprofessional ladies ever the property manager even lost payments of my rent and tried to make me pay again until I said I was gonna get lawyers involved. And overall the apartments are overly priced and nothing is up to date.
7 Lionz: PLEASE STAY AWAY from this place! Here's why:1. It took about 2 weeks to get a response on my application. Once approved it took another 2-3 weeks for all the other paper work to get straightened out. This whole process should've taken a week and half tops according to them but they had workers out on leave so I just had to deal.2. Once it was time to sign a lease, I couldn't come in until later in the day due to work. Since it was close to the end of their work day I asked to take the lease home and read it before I sign, I WAS TOLD I COULDN'T.3. I decided to stay put and read/sign it. While I was reading through the lease, the lady in the office called Ameren, informed the person on the line that a transfer needed to be made to my name, handed me the phone (i had no clue who was on the phone at this time), and told me to give them my information. I thought this was weird but i went with it.4. After I hung up I asked her to confirm that the apartment they said they got me is the same as the one I viewed before i decided to apply. I was told NO. So they were expecting me to sign a lease for an apartment I HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE! The apartment they had in mind was 2 buildings down and had nothing to do with the one I had seen!5. YOU CAN DO BETTER! Even with crappy credit (which i have), you can certainly do better. I desperately needed to move, had low expectation on what I could find with my budget, no co-signer and awful credit. I almost fell for this but I'm so glad I didn't. I found a better place, my application was approved within 2 days! Better location, safer, and even closer to a park. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS PLACE.
Lenard Wilson: Very Nice Environment Cool down to earth people And Staff Intercom Entry felt safe very Clean off street Parking washer and dryer on every level Central Air and Heat All Electric Balconies Available Computer and Wifi Room Available Exercise Facility Excess 10 minutes away from forest park 10 minutes away from the Delmar loop Metro Bus line and Metro Link Conveniently Close I Think I Would Really love to Be Apart of their Community
Brandon Cutts: They are just money hungry
ANGEL SHURN: It looke very good

La Salle Park Apartments: what do users think?
Ebony Matthews: The worse apartment ever ...all they do is rob and have shoot outs ..was trying to move for years ....they don't care about they tenants nor the property.....my house and car was hit in a shoot out ...they won't move me ...my son got shot they won't move me .... This month man got shot in front of my house....my window was broken for a month and a half... I had to call housing authority...when I did the property management got mad found a reason to put me and my kids out....you can't even complain without getting put out ....they did some spiteful stuff to me ....now me and my kids will be homeless next Thursday..... housing authority tried to help me buy the lady just keep lying ...
antwoine perkins: MURDAAA SIDE ISLAND!!!😈🤟🏾
A B: Personally would not recommend these town homes. They are doing nice rennovations, however, they are very unprofessional. Whenever you have questions and need something explained they give the run around. If I have a question about something I always try to call them, but its nearly impossible to do so. They will allow the phone to consistently ring off of the hook.I also feel that they do unnecessary inspections such as coming into your home to check for broken blinds. These town homes are through the housing authority so it is perfect for people who want a nice place to stay. The only down side to that is you will be in the rent office signing paperwork almost every other month. I can not wait to move out.
C Gordon: Being waiting on apartments for three years can't never get in contact open up new list haven't moved in others who are already on the waiting list smh very bad business

Aventura at Forest Park: what do users think?
Brittany Weir: We LOVED living at Aventura. Tanner the property manager and Jim the head of maintenance really made us feel like family. They took care of every need and personally invest in their residents. There were fun social activities periodically that really added to the community feel. Our dog Watson also loved Aventura. We were truly sad to leave and had a great experience there.
Aaron Surrey: lived here for two years…it’s fine, pricey for what you get. I stayed for the second year because moving is a hassle and anything nicer in the grove or CWE would’ve been more expensive.Pros: proximity to BJH and Forest Park, decent sized apartments, modern fixtures/appliances, maintenance requests quick, less expensive than equivalent apartments in CWE.cons: walls are thin…fortunately most people who live at Aventura were fairly quiet at night. The package system was laughably bad, essentially had to dig through mounds of packages in a closet to find mine. To be fair, it looked like they were installing a new system as I was leaving. Parking was at times terrible, particular in the summer or if you return late at night. For example, consistently during the summer last year I would come home late after a shift to find no parking available. When I brought this concern to the leasing office I was told that parking was "not guaranteed"...they make you pay extra for a parking spot...and that we could park on the street (need to obtain a permit from the city) or to start paying for the absurdly overpriced carport. Just silly. The apartment is literally adjacent to the freeway so it is noisy outside. If the amenities matter to you, the pool and gym are tiny and not worth the rent upcharge. Pool was claustrophobically crowded on the weekends because it's so small.Would I do it again? Eh maybe. Definitely my least favorite apartment I've lived in, and I'm not convinced the cost was worth the apartment+amenities provided. But that being said if you want to be walking distance to BJH or Forest Park in a nice enough apartment it only gets more expensive.
Mysfit Dani: My roommate and I lived here for two years and we absolutely LOVED it! From the leasing agents, actual apartment unit and amenities. Walking distance from the medical area and to Manchester if you want to grab a bite to eat. Also right off the highway if you need to get somewhere. The community is gated, so we always felt safe. Maintenance was also friendly and handled work order requests in a timely manner. We only moved out because we graduated. Otherwise, we would still be there! One of my best places I’ve ever lived!
Corianna Baier: They give you very little for your money (very small and strict amenities) and will take a large portion of deposit for no reason. Lots of little problems that shouldn’t happen with what you pay. Nothing special.
Monica cox: I have heard many great things about Aventura I want to move here so bad but they say they don't have any available 😔
Amber: My husband and I LOVE living here! The staffare friendly and personable and the property isclean and safe. Maintenance requests (I've onlyhad to make one and it was for a kitchenfaucet) are addressed promptly! I work remoteso l am basically here 24/7 and I've never had asingle issue. I am sad to be moving out of state, otherwise we would be staying here for years tocome. Great property close to so many greatthings, including Forest Park, WashU, CentralWest End, and the Grove. Very walkable! I highlyrecommend Aventura if you are looking for aplace in the city. Our dog also LOVES the park we go thereprobably 2-3x a day. There is no way he couldjump over the fence I noticed a review said that when I was looking at this as an option. That has not been a concern at all. The park is safe and we have met a lot of the neighbors there with their pups!An older review (6 years old) said somethingabout the trash being located in aninconvenient spot. They offer valet trash nowand have since I've lived here! It's veryconvenient!Did I mention they also have a pool and gym!?
Daniel Robison: Woman at the front desk in their leasing office is very helpful, friendly and makes things as easy as can be with residents. Quick with responses on maintenance issues as well as move in and out concerns
Angela Brown: I haven’t experienced this place but looks extra nice to me. Seen outside of it. Saw details online.
Tejas Sangoi: Excellent apartment complex to live in! Great management including maintenance staff who do quick repairs and amazing amenities. Have lived here for 7+ years with no regrets!
Jennifer Oeffner: I have been a renter for the better part of ten years, in several states and throughout St. Louis, and Aventura is by far my best experience as a renter. The apartments are beautiful, the grounds well-maintained, and the neighborhood is awesome. The leasing office and maintenance team are responsive, prompt, and wonderful to deal with. This is also the first time that a property didn't try to nickel and dime my security deposit; they are upfront and clear about deductions, and very fair. I was sad to leave!
Vasu Mantravadi: Aventura was my lovely home for the past 5 years. Safe, clean, quiet, walking distance to the Grove and beautiful Forest Park, with friendly and responsive leasing office staff. It's been a wonderful place to live and I will miss it!
______: Great property and management!
Darrin Dowdy: We moved to Aventura 5 weeks ago. In the beginning it was all that it was promised to be. We truly believed it to be the hidden gem that the website promised. Everything was great until about 2 weeks ago. Due to some life changes, we made the decision to get an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). We emailed the Property Manager, Lora Garmer, in an attempt to obtain information about documentation/fees required by the community. At this point, it seems that Lora decided to make this a difficult process.Lora replied stating that we would need to have a medical professional complete the attached form (Reasonable Accommodation Request Verification Form) and required us to provide certification for our service dog. I clarified that it was not a service dog but an ESA and asked if the same form would apply. She replied, “Yes, the form would still apply. As long as the pet is certified as a support animal, it shouldn’t be a problem.” Lora is a housing professional, with YEARS of experience, and responsible for a multimillion dollar property. Is it possible that she is not educated in the the subjects of disabilities and the Fair Housing Act?Seeking clarity, we reached out to our local HUD office. They explained that completion of the form nor certification of an ESA was required by the Fair Housing Act. The information could simply be included in the ESA letter given to the housing provider when requesting the accommodation. So, with that understanding, I emailed Lora to ask if the the ESA letter would be sufficient as long as it address all of the questions from her form. She replied stating that Anna Rohlfing, Regional Manager with MLP Management, still wanted the form completed and taking a new stance of “We don’t necessarily need something that shows the animal has been trained depending on how the form reads.” I replied to see if she would clarify “depending on how the form reads”. Lora responded with “The most important piece is getting the verification form back completed.” As for training, her response was “The training certificate is not necessarily required but if you have it we can include it in your file. Of course we asked what would make the certificate required. The next day we received an email from Anna Rohlfing. She apologized for the delayed response. Trying to provide clarity, she explained that once the medical provider had completed and submitted the form (this is new) directly to their office, they would verify the information and render a decision. She further explained that they would not require the certification and apologized for the confusion that may have been caused by the wording of the previous email. I don’t think she knew that Lora had actually required it twice at this point. Anyway, we thanked Anna for her response and decided to follow the law.The next day we went to our doctor with a copy of the Fair Housing Act and the form from the complex in hand. He wrote the ESA letter to satisfy the law and the questions on the form. Shortly after, we emailed the ESA letter without the “required” form to Lora and Anna. Within 30 mins we were approved. I guess that form wasn’t so important after all.At the completion of this ordeal, we believe that Lora Garmer and Anna Rohlfing intentionally complicated this process by requiring an unnecessary form, initially insisting that the ESA be certified, and attempting to delay submission of the letter/form by requiring the medical provider to be the one to submit it to their office. Logical questions are: How many others have they misledinto completing or possibly even forced to complete their coveted and bogus form? How much money has been wasted on unnecessary co-pays and training fees? If there have been none before us, thenwhy us? We can’t read minds and it was never openly stated but their actions seem clear. Americans with disabilities should look elsewhere or be prepared to possibly have management challenge you at every step.
Ai Zhang: I’ve lived in this apartment for 10 months. Overall environment and maintenance are nice and leasing office replies emails in a timely manner. However, since we have to work from home right now, it’s important to keep silence for other residents to have a good rest and work environment. But you can still “enjoy” the vibration from bass almost 24/7 from your neighbor. Sometimes I woke up from a nap because I felt the vibration on my own bed or hear the bass when I lay on my side. While, leasing office only send them notifications when they played music during silent time. But it’s a special time right now, I can’t work at any other places. It interrupts my rest and work seriously!!! Even after I sent them a written note and manager sent them email notification, I can still hear the music and feel the bass. I’m thinking to call police if this situation continues.
Nathan Emmons: Positive:Professionalism,ValueI lived at Aventura for several years and enjoyed it very much. Lora and Tanner in the front office are prompt, professional, and courteous. I would recommend Aventura to a friend.
Caroline Nottingham: This has been my first year living in St Louis and moving to Aventura was the best decision for my transition. It's walking distance to the hospital and to restaurants/bars on Manchester. I have never felt unsafe, even with late night dog walks, and value the security of the gates and cameras. Property managers and maintenance team are beyond fantastic and will quickly respond to anything you need. The community is well taken care of, dog friendly and very quiet as it's mostly professionals/families. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to call home!
Joel Nolette: Aventura at Forest Park is expanding its footprint, it appears. We've enjoyed living in the main complex, and if these are new apartments for rent, I imagine they'll be even nicer than the existing buildings' apartments. As of the date of this writing, exterior looks done, though interior is still under construction.
Brian Ho: Definitely live here if you can!I've lived here for about 5 years. About 2 years in I needed more room and decided to stay here (and move into a bigger apartment on site) truthfully because of the management. They were super helpful about everything: working with you if you needed something and the maintenance really cares about how this place is kept. Lora really cares about her residents and its amazing how much she is here to help you. I can't recommend this place more.Other things to consider is it is ridiculously convenient to live here if you work at WashU med or SLU--you can walk or bike to these places. Hwy 64 "40" and 44 are minutes away so its a great central place. The CWE and the grove are right here and expanding so there are bars and restaurants galore. (you can walk to Sauce on the side!)Nice pool, safe, and of course high end nice features in the apartment. But definitely stay here if you can because of the management, especially Lora.
Georgie Philip: I lived at Aventura for 4 years and it is honestly one of the most well maintained apartment complexes in the city. Management cares about its residents, keeps the place clean, the gated aspect makes it a lot safer, and units are new with ample space and amenities.
Tamara Pejovic: I love Aventura! Roby at leasing office is very helpful.
Maren Cowley: This apartment complex had the best staff of any araprtment complex I have ever lived in. The staff was always friendly, helpful and planned great evening get togethers for the entire community. Aventura is also located in a fabulous location in walking distance of Barnes-Jewish hospital, Manchester Avenue, and from Forest Park.

Felicia Gibson: Hold family out there pretty cool now☺️
Shyniea Smothers: IT'S NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE
Andrew Stone: So many people complaining they don't fix this and they don't fix that when you consider that 95% of the people living there don't work that means they want the taxpayers to fix it. Screw that, better yourself and move out or stay lazy and deal with it
Gee Em: Extremely dangerous. Stay the eff out!
Royalty Loyalty: If could give this place a 0 star I would because one thing about these apartments they falling apart cuz they don’t fix nothing. Looking at them on the outside makes it look nasty to live in but that’s all on you how clean and put together you are & how the inside of your apt will look and depending on where they place you at you could be in danger from break ins and lots of shooting so do your research or just come visit and get a vibe for yourself. I also understand if these the only apartments will accept you at the time of need just pay close attention to how you move because people is always watching stay safe.
Keonna Muldrow: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Michael Kennedy: Cool
Edgar Jones: 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Ftyropek: there’s a turnaround on one of the major roads here so if someone gets off the wrong exit they can turn around before it’s too late. that should tell you all you need to know

Germany X: Y’all complaining about leaving there but y’all the ones creating the crime and violence. Stop living on the system if you want better . This is one of the most dangerous apartments in the metro area BECAUSE OF THE RESIDENTS. Stop complaining and fix your community.!
