It was probably the easiest, nicest, least-pressured car buying experience I've ever had.I've been back since for regular maintenance. Javier, my service advisor, was great and took time to explain everything, it being my first time to their service department. The oil change and tire rotation was done quickly and the wait was easy with plenty of TVs and snacks available.They even have a kids playroom and a room for people who just want to sit in quiet while they wait—a nice touch. I definitely recommend Dave Mungenast Honda.

Mike Buck: My experience at Mungenast was a vary professional experience. The saleswoman Rebecca was very kind. She did not try tell sell me something I did not want and was able to find everything I needed in a car. The car was ready for me in a decent amount of time. When all other dealers were telling me it will be month before they could get i wanted. Everyone I met with through the hole process was very knowledgeable in there field of expertise. And they even came and picked me up when I didn't have a ride to the dealer.

Aicha Liesenfeld: I will never use them again for service. They caused us a $2400 repair as a result of negligent and false information provided to my husband. Our 2013 Honda car was making a noise, so naturally we took it to Mungenast. We were told that the noise was in the engine due to a loose part and was not recommended to open the engine to repair as this would be cost prohibitive. The technician did not believe there was any harm at driving the car as such. My husband then decided to continue to drive the car a few months with the assurance that was conveyed to him that there was no concern. I became worried and asked him to take the car to another dealership for a 2nd opinion. Today we were told we need the VTC Actuator replaced and possibly the Timing Chain. All together we are looking at a $2400 repair cost.Finally to make matters worst, I had my oil change yesterday at Mungenast, but when I collected my car, the dashboard still stated 30% Oil life. In the best case scenario, the technician just forgot to switch a button to restate the oil life but at worst they did not change my oil. I have 0 confidence in their ability and will not be returning as a customer.
M: My wife and I purchased a 2023 CRV hybrid from Shan Herwig. Shan is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. There was no pressure what so ever and she was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Mungenast, I will never go anywhere else. I have also had nothing but excellent experiences with the service department. Thank you Shan for being honest and a straightforward person.

After communicating they would apply for my title and registration, they instead mailed the application I had already filled out at the dealer to my home of record in another state. They provided no explanation and have ignored my repeated attempts to communicate with them. I am led to believe this dealer only wanted to see me drive away as soon as possible after taking my payment.

When I first spoke with her she told me she would be transparent throughout the entire process, she stuck to her word. I never once felt uncomfortable or confused about any of the documentation or payment information. She was so welcoming. I know that she truly loves her job and she is in it for all the right reasons. We ran into a few discouraging bumps in the road along the way but she reminded me she would do everything to get in me something I not only wanted but could also afford. Well, it's my second time buying a car. However, I have been to multiple dealerships this time. This includes a trip to Chicago to look for options and find the one I wanted and liked. Honestly going with Honda at Frotenac and working with April (salesperson) is the most enjoyable part. Thanks to April for that.I had a problem with the finance person who was unclear about the final numbers. Dealing with the finance person is the only part I did not like. However, April (the salesperson) & the new car sales manager (Kim) stood next to me to make sure I had the most satisfactory experience.There is no doubt in my mind that I will return to Honda Frontenac soon for my next car. Tanya McLaughlin: My experience was disappointing at best. I took in my 2022 Civic with bumper to bumper warranty because the A/C is not working. At first, they told me there was nothing wrong with it, which I questioned. When I came in to pick up my car, I was told that they would have to do a diagnostic to determine if there was actually a problem and that diagnostic test would be $430. They figured that I wouldn’t want to pay that so they didn’t proceed. Then, why did they tell me nothing was wrong. And why do I have to pay $430 to “diagnose “ something that we know will be covered. To add insult to injury, the service person quietly let me know that other Hondas are having compressor issues. Also, I’m supposed to get a loaner car when they are doing covered work. That didn’t happen either. First Honda and last Honda. Getting my A/C fixed and then selling this car, so that I never need to deal with Honda again!

They claimed to replace an ac condenser was 3,000.The part is less than 500$. And they are charging nearly an 8x markup on that because they are one of the few places that can put in the new freon. Luckily, I was able to find a place that could do the work for 1/3 of the price.Needless to say bommarito will never get a penny from me again. I recommend the same for you as well.

Juanita Wallace: I went in for a service visit on 5/15/23 to address a rattle sound in my sunroof. Worked with service advisor, Margo Jennings, who assessed the issues I was having as not being covered by Easycare before having a technician assess the matter. Upon the technician’s assessment, service advisor, Margo appeared irritated to have to call Easycare about my concerns to inquire about warranty coverage . Margi told me on 5/15/23 that Easycare was called and that I should have an update by 5/18/23. I received no correspondence. I left several voicemail messages for Margo and also left a voicemail message for the service center manager, Lynn, seeking an update. All I needed was an update on whether Easycare would cover my repairs. I received no response from anyone. My daughter went to get a car wash on 6/1/23 so I had her directly ask Margo for an update.I understand businesses get busy and things get overlooked but the lack of response from Margo (and the service manager) after several outreach attempts were made shows poor customer service.

When he greeted us, he did not assume that my dad who was with me was buying the vehicle unlike other salesmen did. The vehicle was just off the assembly line and Jimmy communicated when the vehicle made it to the dealership. It was a very smooth process. When it came to the financing Mike Minner walked me through the rest of the process which was also smooth. There was no pressure put on me by either Jimmy or Mike.
