Sonna22: I'm from California and I wish we had a Hawaiian Grill where I live. My first visit I treated myself because I never known a fast food restaurant to serve T-Bone steak and I was thoroughly impressed. The quality of steak 🥩 was excellent. It was served with a baked potato, Texas toast and side salad. I ate all of it, it was that good. My drive home was 20 minutes and the food was still warm when I got there. The cost was only $11.99 + tax. I don't know anywhere else you can go to get a delicious steak dinner for that price and it was served with all the condiments. A cute little pack of A-1 sauce (I never seen before) a pack of Daisy sour cream and pack of butter plus S & P. I will be back to try other items on the menu. Courtney G: Food is pretty good, but portions are on the smaller side. There is a sign out front that says “now hiring team members with an aloha spirit” or something along those lines. Clearly, they have yet to find that because the lady taking my order was so rude and kept sighing when I asked a couple of questions. I should state there was literally nobody else in there but me. When she brought me my food, I asked where the silverware was and she said “it’s inside” and walked away. I told her it was my first time there and she just seemed miserable. Ruined the whole experience.

Nicholas Hibbeler: Everything I've had here tastes amazing and has something unique about it. The Chicken Yakitori had a delicious, crisp breading with a sweet/savory glaze. I'm not normally a fan of macaroni salad, but the side that comes with the chicken was incredible, as was the rice. Their pork sandwich on a Hawaiian roll had this great pineapple slaw and light bbq sauce. Definitely visit this place if you enjoy eating delicious food.

If you are charging $13-$15 for a single dinner entree that primarily uses rice as the side then you better make the portions make sense for that. The bowls are probably the best deal here at $10.My household primarily does takeout and we eat at home. The packaging is appropriate and you don't have to worry about leaks.Out of two orders my house has put in one of the orders was wrong. In a recent order we had, I ordered one size of the boiled peanuts (that was $4) and received the $2 order. I attempted to contact the restaurant to get a refund or some sort of recompense and instead was treated to a back and forth conversation with someone arguing about online menu descriptions and semantics. 3 emails (at 6 am on a Saturday morning no less) both directions and I still don't have my $2 back.Looking at some of the owner responses I see some back and forth on reviews in general as well. I would say that they have an issue with criticism and treat these things like debates when it's just some people giving feedback. Best response is adjusting practices (if/when necessary), not having an online argument. Reviews don't always necessitate responses from the owner either.Despite this place being walk able for us and the food actually being good, we just won't go back again. My star rating is based on the customer care experience, portion size, and 50% mistake on our orders; in that order of magnitude.

Even with all the add ons and modifications, they do a good job getting the order correct 97% of the time.I have noticed how drastically their prices rose in the past 2 years. Which is both expected and a bummer because half the meal is rice. So everything but the fish is rather inexpensive. Plus most of the stuff is raw so no real preparation is needed. Other than maybe some quick Mandoline work or putting things through a food processor with attachment.I do wish the bowls were more long instead of tall. Because the style is more of a cup, the distribution of the ingredients leaves you eating through to find the rice and ultimately ending with a ton of rice at the bottom once all the stuff is gone.I don’t mind paying the price increase but for that, they should really make presentation a priority.

Alexander Schmidt: Pokedoke consistently had the best Poke around. I usually order their Pokebowls for pickup. I've never had a problem with my food being ready on time. I do always need to check the bag for the sauces because they forget them about 25% of the time.The variety of toppings and sauces means you can go here and have completely different meals even if you always order a Pokebowl. I usually order with salad for the base for health reasons but being able to swap in noodles or rice also really changes up the feel of the meal. I've also had their wings which are pretty decent though not as good as if you go somewhere dedicated to good wings.Don't be fooled by the sizes. Small is big for one person and a large can easily be shared between two people. Don't feel like you need to over order these very generous portions.

William Allen: The bowls were really good. We had a Shrimptastic, a Classic and a Build Your Own. There was a lot of shrimp and two large fried shrimp in the shrimp bowl. The build your own included a soft shell, crab as a chosen protein, which was delicious. There are many excellent options for components and flavors. The large bowls are substantial. Be prepared to spend about $20 per bowl. The service is quick.

Daniel Sung: I ordered a small cup for takeout and was very dissapointed with the portions. The small cup comes with two scoops, but I literally received 6 pieces of tuna. For almost $17 after tax and tip, I really expect a bit more food. I even added toppings but the majority of my bowl was really rice. Not satisfying at all

Kyle Crangle: Awesome. Food as always was delicious and building was incredibly clean. Employee today was top notch, super friendly and attentive with great communication. Love this place, always enjoy every opportunity I have to eat at any of the PokeDoke locations!

Johnson: One of the quieter places on the Delmar Loop. The employee who made my bowl was quick but not enthusiastic at all. The PokeDoke bowl was ~$18 and had an okay portion size. Besides the fish that tasted like it had recently been frozen, everything else tasted fresh. Another thing I noted was that they were out of edamame when I was there.

Joye Graham: One of the few places where I get taro bubble tea from, so good. And their food, especially wings are delicious. One of my fav places to get food from. Staff is always friendly too

Emma Wray: Love this place! As a healthy alternative to fast food, this place is always a go to for me. There's so many toppings to choose from and the sauces are delicious! They even have vegetarian options for people who don't want fish, but still want a good healthy bowl. Definitely recommend!

William Miller: THIS PLACE ROCKS... I am a poke fan and often it's super hard to find a place that serves a decent quantity of poke and quality. Look I'm a big boy and the serving sizes here for me well. Everything is so fresh and delightful! I'm so full and I'm only half way done!!!

R Y: Best chicken teriyaki—it’s actually called Hawaiian Chicken. It’s the best in St. Louis! Made by real Asian family - Chinese Korean. Love it! We eat 2 or 3 times a week.Hi PokeDoke, it would be great if you could allow “Add Special Instructions” for each dish.

It has a clean look, crew always cheerful and efficient, and more importantly all ingredients of a BYO bowl always complete. The facade is welcoming and i love the greenery wall that greets and sets the mood of dining here. The.only underside is parking, especially in a busy street but we always manage.Cheers to you all, and keep up the excellent job you're doing!

Carros Shih: The best Poke bowls in STL by far. The fish is SO fresh and the toppings are delicious. The new Garlic shrimp reminds me so much of Hawaii. And the BBQ chicken is so juicy! I love Pokedoke so much, I was THRILLED to recently find they are selling the Poke sauce at Dierbergs!!! I can’t wait to try at home, too!
