Donna Murray: The ratings are probably phony, this company can not even return a phone call in the time they say they will. Do not trust the reviews I feel they are friends and family giving the ratings. Good businesses return phone calls in a timely manner !!! This is becoming a common practice among businesses. Must not need the work or they can not do it@!
B Howe: Norm and his team did 2 small jobs for us about 6 months apart. One was a plumbing issue and the other a drywall job. The work was professional and the price was reasonable. I would recommend St. Louis Handyman services for just about any household job.
Tedd Trabert: Disappointed they left me Hanging. They came out (both Partners) and I was encouraged by what they knew and their experience. AND THEN NOTHING. I would sporadic calls saying they were coming back out to take more notes and then NOTHING. Wouldn't show up and I wouldn't hear from them Business must be good. I was looking forward to working with them but not any more. We ended up with another Painting company as a partner to assist us in restoring our Historic Home.
Veronica McDonnell: Excellent craftsmanship. St. Louis Handyman Services renovated my basement and master bath. They have also resurfaced the ceilings on the main level of my home adding LED lights. All the employees are very respectful, helpful and their work site is left clean. I have been a customer for 3 years and will definitely call them for any other projects.

Karen Hosna: Shane came to my home along with his partner Dallasand installed a sink, removed garbage disposal and installed new plumbing for sink and installed dishwasher, very professional, his assistant Dallas was also very knowledgeable and they worked very well together and efficient cleaned up area and made sure everything was working and had no leaks anywhere etc. Would definitely have them do more work for me again.

My garbage disposal wasn't working, and what I thought would be a total replacement ended up being a quick fix due to a bad outlet. I will be using Shane & Dallas for ALL my future handyman needs. Marissa Lewis: Update: Shane did return this afternoon and mostly finished the job. He finished the gate and took all of the trash. We decided he would not finish the shelving unit I paid for given the difficulty getting him to complete any task in a timely fashion. I would never recommend him, but I do really like the way the fence and gate turned out. He is skilled, but has terrible work ethic.I was so excited when I read the reviews about Shane, but ended up being completely disappointed. He has the worst work ethic of anyone I have ever had. He started a job for me at the beginning of October and kept asking for more of the other half that was not given up front. Eventually he said he would be by to finish the job and to leave the remainder. He took the check and never finished the job. He ended up leaving me with several thousand dollars worth of things left to have done. He kept saying he had every intention of finishing, but was paid in full at the end of November and has yet to come back. The portion he finished is gorgeous but unfortunately incomplete. I absolutely recommend you go with someone else. He came up with excuse after excuse. The gate he made doesn’t even function as is and he left my old gate in my driveway. After paying him in full he convinced me to give him $800 for more cedar to finish the job and literally just no showed since. I actually am having to hire a lawyer. Maryann Eastman: First call they answered and were great. Greg came out and did the estimate. nothing since. Every call since goes to VM and no call back. I have not been able to get a person on the phone for over a week. I would like to change my review to awesome if they ever come back with a quote and do the work..... Update…. changing to one star after reading reply. I would have been fine with waiting if told and didn’t have a project that needed a quick turn around. Both people doing the scheduling and estimating set expectations to be quick. I would have called someone else if the company was honest about the real timeline. Saying you Apologize for a “free” estimate as you put it is no apology at all. That’s passive aggressive. It’s pretty standard for handy services to give free estimates.

Robbie Shanky: I would give a zero rating if I could. This company is a scam.1. They make up quotes and contract documents on the fly without any logic. Their numbers for bids do not mean anything. They make them up to get into their foot into the door.2. Hired them to renovate the bathroom. The quote/bid had 2 lines. Then they start nickeling and diming for everything after work starts. When questioned they modify contract real time and send it multiple times.3. They do not like questioning them, esp by someone who knows a bit about how work is done.4. I would not recommend them. Very amateur and unprofessionalBeware of these scamsters
