Basheer Aljalal: It was a nice mediterranean, restaurant. I like their food. The kebab was fantastic. Garlic was great and rice cooked with smoke. It was fantastic smells was great. Rachana Baghel: We ordered a mix grill and lamb chops. The grilled items were too dry and the lamb chops were completely burnt on the edges. They were not edible at all. The salad did taste fresh as well. After raising this concern, the server did nothing and just left. We ordered a lentil soup to push the dry rice and some of grilled items in as we were so hungry. Food doesnt look like anything in the pictures. We were fooled. We paid them plus a tip and left. Hope they learn to treat customers better.Surely we will never go back to this place and will never recommend anybody!
Ron M: Vacationing and needed vegetarian food, which I can usually get at a Mediterranean place. It was about 5 pm and the place was empty, not a great sign. However, my wife and I really enjoyed our food, it was quite good. Don't expect stelar service. Warning: getting out of the parking lot can be hazardous.

Ria Rahaman: Wouldn't order again. The 4-piece lamb and rice came as 3-piece and was burnt to a crisp, no discernable meat flavor whatsoever, the rice was horrible. The 8-piece grape leaves were tiny. The falafel tabbouleh and kibbe were good.
Maria Jose Moya: 100% recomendado se convirtió en mi lugar favorito. Muy deliciosa comida.
Sukanto Mondal: It was a nice medterian resturents. I like their food. The leg of lamb was fantastic. I found everything good. But the i ttink briyani rice could have been better, but this might be in comparison to indian briyani flavour. There is free parking available.
Evan Cooney: My family has gotten take-out here several times and it has always been a treat. The hummus and pitas here are so good, and I can never stop eating them. All the dishes that I've tried have been spectacular. I had this tomato and okra soup with rice once, it was tasted pretty strange to me at first, but it was still great. I recommend anyone who wants to expand their taste horizons to give it a try. The inside is charming and very comfortable. The staff are always wonderful too. Thank you everyone at Majeed for creating such a great restaurant.Vegetarian options: The tomato soup that I had was spectacular, and the hummus and baba ganoush could be a meal on its own. I could eat it with a spoon and be perfectly happy, it's so good.Parking: The parking is on Gravois, it's nothing special, just a lot. There's always plenty of space. Probably about 15 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: You don't need to walk up any stairs to get to the door, so I think it should be wheelchair accessible. I don't use a wheelchair, though, so I'm not really sure.Dietary restrictions: Everything here is halal, so Muslims can eat it.
Rachel S: This place is very authentic and has delicious food (plus, it smells great and the atmosphere is cozy). The chicken curry flavor is amazing, and the falafel is among the best I’ve tasted! 🍛They served bottled water immediately - if anything, the inability to get refills was a downside, but it wasn’t a problem and I didn’t ask for more.

Karebear: If I could give no stars I would. First time customer here and I love middle eastern cuisine so I wanted to give this place a try. I placed an order for the Fatoush Salad with Chicken, Cheese Fatayer and Shish Tawuk Sandwich. First off I would like to say that the atmosphere was nice and it was a pretty large space. Great for large groups and there was outside sitting. I ordered carry out and still had to wait 45mins for my food to be done upon arrival. Upon receiving my food and finally getting home to eat, I can officially say that I will not be returning. The food was inedible and was not fresh. Totally wasn’t even worth the wait! The Fatoush Salad had soggy pita bread and the added chicken smelled old. The 4pc. Cheese Fatayer seemed to be a pastry right out of the freezer, the outside pale and not crispy or brown. Finally the Shish Tawuk Sandwich….broke it open to see what I was dealing with and it had barely any garlic paste, three small pieces of chicken, peppers which shouldn’t of been on there, lots of cilantro, and the pickle was soggy not crisp. Threw my food into the trash. Do not recommend this place. Not wasting another dime at this establishment. Will travel elsewhere.
Lejla Rahmanovic: Great portion sizes for the price! Friendly environment!! Will be back many more times
Omar Elessawy: That was a perfect meal ❤️❤️❤️ Delicious food ❤️❤️❤️ Great portions 🔥🔥 Service was above and beyond 😍 Definitely going back and super super duper recommended 🏼 🏼 🏼

Lord Rev. Shaun Boswell: Well. Came in was told to sit where we liked. Was brought menus. There was only two other people there. Interior was fairly basic. Wood walls blue false skylights, and some cowboy movie playing on TV. Music was appropriate. Two water bottles were brought to our table, these you will be charged 1$ for, so do not assume they are free. The Syrian chicken and potatoes was good. Mixed plate meats were very dry, the yogurt helped but not much. The kibbeh came with a small salad mix and were extremely hot, and came after the entrees were brought to us. Food meh, service meh. Overall meh.

Irish Racion: We went there on a Saturday noon. It wasn't busy. We ordered hummus with pita, kebab, shawarma meals. Food was delicious. The main entree was good for 2 meals for me (if you're not really hungry). Nice ambiance. The server slash cook was a bit shy but he was nice to us. It's definitely a good try. I personally recommend this place for mediterranean dishes.

8oichi: Where to begin... forgotten items, wrong gyros , sour cream in the tzatziki dip ? This is not authentic. I’ve had authentic Med + Greek food and this just aint it. Drove 30min out to give them a try since go to is closed on Sunday. Upon arrival grab my food and head to the car only to realize a samosa was missing - no big deal. I head back in to let them know what they missed so I can be on my way. 10mins for that guy. No big deal tho just rush on home and food should still be kinda warm after waiting 45-50 min but would you believe it ? Not one, but BOTH gyros incorrect with completely different toppings than what we ordered, and crumbly fried falafel. Bare in mind my ticket was stapled to the bag so how they entirely messed my order up from the start is beyond me. If you want good greek food: Gyro Company, never fails.

Q: Unfortunately, things have changed for the worse; as I write this review on 3/6/23. I’m not sure if they are under new ownership or what the deal is. The customer service has now become terrible. The food quality is not the same. I also notice they no longer call themselves a Greek restaurant but a halal restaurant; there is a difference. And the one thing that really turned me off is the lack of sanitation! When I entered the worker had on gloves as he was making another Gyro so I didn’t think to ask him to change gloves. However, after seeing him prepare my Gyro with the same gloves as he rang out a customer and went back to preparing another Gyro, I was completely turned off. Yuck!I love Gyros but will have to find another place because St. Louis Gyros on Olive has gone downhill.
Kathryn Hayden: **I am updating my review because of the response of the business owner. He was very swift and is handling the situation. If I could give 0 stars I would. I order from this place all the time and love their food. This evening I ordered a Greek salad and a side of fries. As I was eating my salad, I bit down on a very big and sharp piece of glass. I called and spoke with the manager and his response was "oh yeah, a worker actually found a piece of glass in his burrito yesterday"—that is literally all the manager said until I said "is that literally the only thing you are going to say about someone finding glass in their food"? He was absolutely careless and only asked to remake the food after I confronted him about being nonchalant. He wasn’t going to do a thing. I am very disappointed in one of my favorite restaurants. Do NOT order here.
Stephanie Canady-Purvis: This is by far the best gyro we’ve had. Love that you can add fresh toppings of your choice as well. The employees and very friendly, check them out!!

The Port of Peri Peri: what do users think?
Lorans Jawarneh: Food: 1/5More
Penny: The place looks like a fast food chain type, big and empty. However, while we were the only customers, it took a good 20+ minutes for our appetizer and two dishes to arrive at the table with two people working in the kitchen. One main dish came out at the same time as the appetizer, both really plain with nothing else. Imagine seeing my order of their specials as two pieces of skinny chops (estimate of 3oz. total) laying on a plate and another smaller plate with three pieces of wing sections only. The salad came last, after we finished the protein. The grains were lopped on top as one blob, in pale green color, that took away all my remaining appetite. We left without touching it.Not sure how the place got such amazing reviews. I can't say the chops and wings taste bad, but there wasn't anything special about them either, and they are salty as mentioned in some of the other reviews.Price wise, it is not a super expensive restaurant but it is also not priced as a cheap fast food place either. It was super disappointing paying the amount for that quality of food.I don't know how it got top rated reviews, and it is very possible we didn't order their best dishes, but given how we were served, I will not go back, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
Neal Haegele: It was pretty good. Not as unique as I hoped for. Chicken was good a little expensive for what you getFood: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Dr. Mohammad Shamsuddoha: They have halal which is very good. Their peri peri is little salty and different from original Nando’s. I went there four five times. Their toilet needs to reorganize with soap and tissues. Overall good but expect something delicious.
SAZ: Disgusting. The place is filthy. You cannot walk from the door to the counter without loosening your shoes, socks and getting stuck to the floor. Put your hand on the table and it stick to it like crazy glue. I have seen cleaner public restrooms in Pakistan. Two guys running the place and they were about to fall dead. No cutlery or napkins. Dirty soda dispenser. God knows what the conditions are in the kitchen. We went in to dine in but the got the order packed for takeout. Two stars because the food tastes good.
Swapnil Moon: 2 star for 2 pieces of chicken, and thats only it. We went in with a group of 9 people. Took 30 minutes to serve first half of the group and and 40 minutes to serve the rest. I had to wait more than an hour for the food. The sink in the mens restroom wasn’t dripping enough water to even wash our hands. If you’re craving for this food Id only suggest carryout.

Hadeel A: started out so good, food was fresh, place was clean. Don't know if there has been a changeover but went there this past weekend and place was dirty, food was burned, and no acknowledgement on order changes or inconvenience-upcharge for rice and fries and were out of both and replaced it with dried out potato wedges. This place has changed unfortunately.
Rusty Shackleford: This is one of those places I tried on a whim as I was passing by. Boy, am I glad I did that. You open the door to this place and you’re bombarded with that classic smell of grilled meat like you’re at a backyard barbecue. They specialize, specifically, in grilled chicken. You pick which part of the chicken you want and which sauce you want accompanying it. The bone-in meat is tossed in the sauce of your choice and is served fresh off the grill. I’ve tried multiple flavors from this place and they’re all unique. Peppery, pleasantly spicy, and citrusy. Very tropical vibes. The chicken itself is high quality and it’s cooked just the way you like it. Juicy and tender. 8.9/10 clucks.Kid-friendliness: They have non-spicy options for kids.Parking: There is more than adequate parking outsideWheelchair accessibility: It is easily accessible
Kathmandu Nepal: Horrible, horrible I paid 15$ for two price Brest and wings and the food and the taste was horrible. I ordered the spicy one and the flavor was just the red chilly powder he spread from the top no taste at all and the chicken 🐓 smells like my Toyota cat tire. Saved your money and time for this one.
Nate River: Great, fresh food with great flavors! That said, it’s a bit pricey for the quantity of food you get and the service at this location isn’t great, largely because they’re very slow still. But I still highly recommend checking them out!
Lisa Nunn: I have been eating here for awhile and will grab something when I am getting my hair done nextdoor. I love the food it has good flavor, although a bit on the pricey side. There is no sound deadening so if there is a large group it gets loud.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Peri Cassava Fries …More
adil Patel: The food was good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟😋
Corey Gavril: Flame-grilled chicken with the ability to make it as mild or spicy as you'd like. We had four different people order it four different levels of spiciness and all four of us loved our respective meals. The prices are reasonable, other than a soda being $3.95. We would definitely recommend giving it a try.Dietary restrictions: I believe there is not glutenous on the menu at all.
Ajay Dharna: Excellent food. Great service
Mohammed Ali: Food is great and cooked freshly all the time! Tables, bathroom needs to be cleaned a bit more often. Employees need to be trained to answer allergy, ingredients questions. The manager did not know anything and told us he is too busy to show us any ingredients.
Steven Underwood: This place is amazing! The chicken gets better and better each time. It's a challenge to find real grass fed chicken at any restaurant even high end, but that's right folks we have found the one in a million places that believe in leaving the poison and toxins out of our food!!
Ibrahim Osman: I was knew to the city looking for a place to eat I was tired and Hungry and the food was amazing and the manager Asif was so nice and have a great customer service he showed me around and actually gave me excellent food suggestions. Will definitely go again !
Hyder: Disappointing. Dirty dishes still left on the tables (multiple tables). The cutlery was dirty. We were told 20-25 minutes for the order, took an hour. Few chicken pieces were burnt. I’ve tried this place before but lately it has been disappointing.
Sajid Hamza: The food is always good and the best garlic sauce I have ever tasted
Parth Vyas: Excellent food. I used to love eating the chicken pita wrap. Asif recommended I try the chicken rice bowl and boy it has quickly become my go to. Asif and his team were excellent. Highly recommend this place .

Aya Sofia Restaurant: what do users think?
Justin Dixon: Amazing 🤘
Paul Niesen: This little restaurant is a gem. Parking was tight, but the food and service more than made up for that inconvenience. I enjoyed the shrimp kebab -- wonderfully seasoned, served with rice and seasonal vegetables. Our party feasted on humus and flatbread as an appetizer. Our waiter recommended a wine that went well with our dishes. In all, an absolute treat. I look forward to my next visit there!Vegetarian options: The menu has a nice array of vegetarian-friendly dishes. They all sounded wonderful.
Sonjay Joseph Fonn, DO: Dang! Where do I start. The ambiance, music and hostess were the only good things. Place was empty on a Friday night which was our first clue as to the impending horrible food and service - the waiter was in a regular tee shirt and shorts😳, took forever despite only two other tables, forgot our salad; and the food didn’t make up for it - dry, stringy overcooked kabobs and old dry rice. $60 for an appetizer and entree.
Deborah Seeger: We waited a relatively long time for being the only customers not served yet. Food was over cooked. We ordered a beet salad and never got it. There was only 2 other tables occupied, our server should have been on top of the order.

Ashley: Has this restaurant always automatically added 20% gratuity? We’ve come to this restaurant at least 10 times always on a Friday night and we’ve never looked at the itemized receipt. Tonight was different because I was curious on how much they charged for the chocolate martini and I saw the gratuity on there. We never cared to look at the itemized receipt because we always tip 20%. I am going to be livid if our server which is usually the blond guy with glasses has been receiving a 40% tip the other 10 times we’ve been there. In addition, the 20% tip is not posted anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu.
Meghan Brauch: Lovely experience at Aya Sofia this past weekend celebrating a birthday. Ted Meyer: I have never had Turkish cuisine before. Rarely have Lamb. The chops were EXCELLENT. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.
Sahar z: food was average but it is nice place but kinda dark, there is no enough light in middle part of the restaurant to even recognize your food color
Farnaz Babaie: Great Turkish food! We had Kofte and Islandar. Both were delicious and tasty. The staff were so polite and nice. They checked with us very often and refill drinks almost every 5 mins. It was good but I think it was too much. I have one small point that they can easily fix. It was so dark there. We could not see what was in our plate.
Sean Murphy: This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem, and we have dined here enough times to assert this fact. Friday night was no exception; Prescott took care of us, which was the second time we’ve had him as our server, and he did not disappoint. Super well-versed on the menu AND of Mediterranean cuisine and wine, he steered us in the right direction while also taking exceptional care of us.I ordered the Tavuk (chicken) stew. Served in cast iron, it reminded me of a delicious yet not-too-spicy chicken Tikka or Tandoori dish, the latter of which as Prescott described it. We got the Meze platter for the table, and everything on it was fresh and delicious, but OMG the hummus and fresh pita are as good as they come! My spouse had the Kofte platter, and that might be my favorite dish of all.All in all, consistently delicious with unique and fresh flavors, paired with outstanding service and beautiful interior decor, are what keep us coming back again and again.
Egemen Curuk: This place is an experience!I was introducing Turkish cuisine to my friend and this restaurant made me feel proud. We got lahmacun (it’s quite big like a pizza) very rich in flavor, shish lamb kebab (see picture) I mean it speaks for itself. The grilled vegetables were great as a side. We also ordered a skewer of Adana, it was an experimental version of the authentic Adana kebab and it was indeed very good. That was my friend’s favorite. Also, baklava was PERFECT. The chef of this restaurant is an expert in seafood, you’ll see the news stories in the entrance. Definitely try those options. Have it with some Rakı.Other than that, great ambiance, nice concept, great lounge type music, well trained and professional staff, welcoming host. The place has a very nice high-end vibe. We will definitely come back, with more people! Serefe!
Mehriban Ahmadova: Perfect place, service and delicious meals.
Elke Overton: Amazing place! Very excited about this new discovery! So many menu items and choices! Very eclectic!!Recommended dishes Baba Ganoush, Kuzu Incik, Grape Leaves …More
