The Sushi Station: what do users think?
Dia X: We were seated immediately, and our order taken promptly. The service was amazing, and the food...the food was without fault. I couldn't ask for a better experience, and I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Dragon Roll …More

Jeffrey: I love the sushi at this place!! Pui, the owner, is amazing and remembers her customers. I love sitting out on the side of the street, watching traffic pass by, hopefully they put the tables and chairs back in the front. The back patio is loud and hot so I avoid that. I enjoy the nice counters in the restaurant, but those are starting to get cramped with different items as well.I have tried to use the soy sauce dispensers, which are actually pancake syrup dispensers, and they spill a bit more than you want, so be careful with those. The bathrooms are not very clean, but they smell decent. The place is small but awesome. I love the small cafe style atmosphere in Sushi Station. Keep up the good work!!!Update 2023.This place has grown into one of the best, if not the best, sushi place in the metro St. Louis area. They have outdoor seating and recently built a covered patio in the back. If you, go early and expect a wait. The sushi is top notch and the hectic environment is sort of fun to watch. Better soy sauce dispensers (chalk the previous dispensers up to a novel idea that didn't work). The bathrooms have been rehabbed and are pretty decent. Seriously though, great sushi. The team at sushi station are doing it right.
Lauren S: We have ordered from here many times before. The last time they forgot large portion of our order and we found out after we got home. When we called to have it rectified, after having to send a screen shot of the order and having them review it, we were told that a credit would be placed under our name for the next time we order. Well we tried to order again. When we called we were told they would have to get a manager and would call us back in 10 minutes. 50 minutes later when we called again they said there wasn’t a manager available and they would call us back in 5 minutes. 20 minutes after that a manager did call us back and had us send more screen shots of our previous order and then told us they had no record of our previous conversation and that the time between our last order was too far in the past. After 1.5 hrs back and forth on the phone I asked if they were going to honor this credit and it became obvious they were not going to. I will definitely go elsewhere in the future.
Gigi Jackson: I go here everytime I'm in town and it never disappoints. Delicious food, great people.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Gale Toko-Ross: Loved the umami leaves ...such a delicious surprise! Everything we tried was excellent...fresh fish & authentic food.Service was a bit slow, but adequate (it was NOT busy when we were there).Recommended, if you're not in a rushFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Takoyaki, Salmon Skin Hand Roll, Gyoza 6 PC …More
Jennifer Downey: Recommended dishes Sunrise RollMore
Delaney Beckham: So good! And great service, I loved the salmon nigiri
Yuri: This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town!
Sanjay Agrawal: service is terrible, they forgot items that was ordered. Who charges $9 for seaweed salad? Overly priced!
Steve Schleiffarth: Recommended dishes Volcano Roll, Sunrise Roll, Deep Fried Philly Roll Crunchy Spicy Salmon Roll Spicy Girl Roll Caliente RollMore

Vincent Chau: This place is great! We went on a Sunday late afternoon. It was a nice casual vibe, great service, and the food came quick. I ordered a bunch of stuff and everything tasted great too.
Vanesa Xox: Overrated! The service sucks and the servers/manager are rude! I wouldn’t recommend this place
Bernada Secic: The waitress that i had tried to steal money from me she was so rude when I confronted her she then tried to fix the bill I spoke to the manager about it and she didn’t do anything I wouldn’t recommend if u don’t want ur money stolen
Tia Phillips: LoooooovvvvvveAtmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rick Knight: Two friends and I decided to come here for lunch today around 12:00.We were seated, got our beverages and informed the manager that one of us was on a special diet till May and brought his food but that the other two would be ordering. We were quickly told we could not do that and that we would have to leave. It didn’t matter that our lunch bill would of probably been about a hundred dollars, and that she only had 1 other seated table during the height of the afternoon. She was very unfriendly. Looking at the other reviews on here, I see other patrons complaining about the unfriendly service. Not to mention, we are part of a dinner group that could of brought her a lot of business. In todays small business market, I suspect unless she makes some changes to adapt to todays patrons needs, she will have a hard time ahead.

the B A O: what do users think?
Vikas Kumar: What a great place to enjoy some spicy crafted cocktails and enjoy small portions of Asian delicacy!! A nice date night place - reservation recommended!
C. B. D.: Cool atmosphere, friendly staff (a very knowledgeable bar tender) and delicious cocktails!!!Their unique cocktails range from $12-$15 and are worth every penny! We also ordered the fried chicken bao and it was top notch.I highly recommend the “not your grandma’s martini!” 👍🏼👍🏼
Shaun Whittaker: A special place that is a hidden treasure. The staff was very accommodating to allow us to to dine while not having a reservation in which is recommended. Delicious dishes and we can’t wait to go back for more. A mix of Asian and Indian dishes, the waitress went above and beyond to explain the different items on the menu.Parking: On street parking
Brad: Easily the best restaurant we’ve tried thus far in St Louis.Recommended dishes Wagyu …More
Samantha Boncek (SamBeeBoo): Y U M! Went here today for my 33rd Birthday and loved everything! 3 Baos, Fries, and Crispy Gyoza! Definitely will be returning. 💛
merly chermon: Love this place so much. Friendly staff and delicious food. Everything is so perfect and great Asian dishesDietary restrictions: Tofu salad was great
S I: We had some food, pork belly, some bao, fries and cocktails. All are well balanced. Very impressed. Whoever cooking there, they know what they are doing. Staffs are very friendly. It is not only modern but keep authentic tastes, too. Highly recommended.
Dalton Stockton: We had a reservation but were forgotten about for 40 minutes. Multiple walk ins were seated ahead of us. Then we were offered a spot at the bar and they allowed someone else to take it. So we chose to leave.Service: 1/5 …More
Matthew Anderson: Made a reservation said it was not confirmed had us wait 40 minutes. Then told us it was going to be another hour before we could be seated but we could sit at the bar cleaned it off and brought other people to the bar. Honestly unacceptable.
Patrick Komeshak: Very good food and service! Tried 3 different bao and they were all great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mike Wyatt II: Kind staff, quick seating, delicious udon and tasty bao. If you can find a parking spot, your taste buds will thank you for stopping by.Recommended dishes Udon Noodle Soup …More
Lydia Brown: It was almost $100 for 2 Bao each for 3 people. If it were amazing, I would be ok with that maybe, but the food was bland (we added our own hot sauce to make it better), and super rich.Recommended dishes Soft Shell Crab Bao, Wagyu …More
Beth Knocke: Ordered online for a lunch pickup. The person in the front of house was welcoming, professional, and approachable which is awesome. I was about 15 min early and was cool to just chill at the bar while I waited but the time went fast. And, my god, the Tom Kha Soup was delicious. Hot temp-wise as well as in taste, I'm so glad I ordered it. Will definitely go back.
Rachel Woodall: My Friday night go to. I actually always get carry out and have yet to dine in. One thing that really sets The BAO apart is the attention to detail they put into their dishes. The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make sure I have everything I need. Definitely recommend!
feranda smith: This place sparked my interest because I was looking for pretty cocktails and they had the pictures to match. Well! They don’t have a bartender until 5pm so don’t go there anytime before that if you like cocktails with your meal. The ambiance was nice and they have pretty good music playing which is always a plus. The food was great! I got the survivor bao that allows you 3 different bao with fries. Everything came out hot and fresh.Let’s start with apps tho. The veggie spring rolls were nice and crispy and filling was typical veggie but good. The yuzu popcorn chicken was definitely the star for me! Once you popped it was soooo hard to stop. My friend and I both got the survivor bao. I got teriyaki bacon…the bacon was good but the pork floss kind made the whole thing dry and hard to chew…then there was mala hot chicken…definitely very spicy, crunch on chicken was phenomenal and it was nice and juicy…last was the spicy lobster…once again nice and spicy but this wasn’t my favorite just think a sushi roll in a bao bun. What was a bit disappointing for me is that they don’t have your typical bao, with the buns your filling is sliding out of the bun and hard to keep together especially for the chicken sandwiches. My friend had spicy lobster…which neither of us enjoyed…fried chicken…which was similar to the hot chicken…and the crispy shrimp…that was her favorite…its one shrimp but big and flavorful.I would go back for dinner to try their cocktails and more yuzu chicken
Yitang Lu: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Soft Shell Crab Bao Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Paid street parkingMore
Sampter: $14 basic drinks and rude bartenders. The bar only has cranberry juice besides hard liquors, and they sold me a soju whiskey combo I didn't want and without asking me because they can't make a screwdriver. It was disgusting. The bar is small and claustrophobic.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Rumpasri Sukonthaman: Great Asian fusion food with nice atmosphere and wonderful service. I would recommend to try Thai fusion menu that have authentic flavor from Thai chef. Price is acceptable. Would definitely come back again.
Jasmine Watson: Amazing service and food. My boyfriend and I went out for lunch and wanted to try something different. The food was great, flavorful. And the ambiance was so pretty
John Miller: I saw an advertisement about their cocktails and how great they were. Too bad I didn’t get to try any- was told their bartender doesn’t come in any day of the week until 6:30. That sucks, and also don’t see anywhere that says they don’t do cocktails till that time. Place was EMPTY. I’ve been here a few times and this is the first time I was told that. Food was decent but not amazing. Probably won’t be back.

Hitea: what do users think?
Arianna Ponder: Man, this used to be one of my favorite places and it's just gone downhill. It used to be my favorite place for boba, but the past few times I've gone, there's just no tea flavor. I always order 0% sweet and it just tastes like sugar milk and not much else. The employees seem kinda down or apathetic, and the space seems generally far less cared for. There were a couple of dead plants and the bear looks like it really needs a deep cleaning. I wonder what happened?
Brent Haynam: The food and drinks are excellent. Service can be a bit slow. We usually get take away. Love the boba and karage in particular.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Eryn DeFalco: The ramen and the tea are absolutely wonderful. I will absolutely be going in instead of ordering out next time though because the takoyaki was very doughy on the inside and I felt they may have been rushed.
Mari Roman: I don't recommend this restaurant if you like consistency or accuracy. Sometimes I go here and receive great drinks, but the last 4 or 5 times my experiences have been poor. They mess up my drink, I try to be polite about it, they proceed to gaslight me about it. Today, I ordered a hot drink and received it iced. I almost didn't say anything but since I was one of just a couple people there, I did, and the barista said: "We usually put ice in our hot drinks to cool them down." (Note: I didn't mention, as it was beside the point, but I have received hot drinks from here before. This was never a thing.) I didnt take it, she asked if i really wanted it super hot, which I... obviously did... but I just tried to not be rude about it and asked her to remake it. She remade it for me with an equally full scoop of ice. Like why? It just feels like they want to make whatever drink they want to make and want us to take it even if it's literally a different menu item or missing an upcharge you paid. I usually get boba after stressful days, so it's disappointing that I feel like I cant come here. I keep coming, I tip even when they mess up, but sadly I don't think I should come back.
Kami Briden: Love the drinks! Haven’t tried the food yet. Cute place!
Anna Marie: Always good!
Ebony Navarrete: Plenty of parking in the lot. You can order by a tablet which makes it very easy and convenient. We bought 6 dishes and it came out to be around $60. The atmosphere was very nice, artistic, and comforting. They bought out a large glass pitcher of water so we could refill to our hearts content. The food was tasty, The bubble tea was delicious. And when our son spilled water, the staff was super friendly about it. Would recommend.
D Nguyen: Love this place. Super yummy food and bobba but sadly NO WIFI so not a good place to work if you need the internet. Great place for studying if you don't need the internet. Really nice tables!
Yitang Lu: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lotMore
Makayla Marshall: Amazing❤️ boba is amazing and so is the food
Jackie Chen: I ordered a single milk tea and waited 20 minutes for it staff was just kind of standing there making drinks for themselves and my drink at one point was just sitting on a table for 10 minutes before they started passing out the ordered drinks that had racked up at the same time
DJLegendGaming: Just an overall amazing place to visitFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Teriyaki Udon, Ramen …More
Christina Atkinson: I am a lover of bubble tea and drink it several times a week. I actually came here a lot, but the quality has gone really down hill. They have put less and less boba in their drinks each time I have came. I probably will not come back. Just sad to see a place that made really good boba tea deteriorate so quickly. Out of all the bubble tea places in St.Louis they have the least amount of boba in their tea, and just charge too much to add extra. Just not worth the price.
Chris: The staff is always friendly and helpful when I ask for suggestions.
Grace F: Wow. I just went yesterday, and this place is phenomenal. The workers are so nice and helped me pick out a drink for my first time! I got the mango boba tea, it was so delicious. I am definitely coming back every week.
sophia jansen: Just went to Hi Tea yesterday, and I am very pleasantly surprised. Customer service was amazing, and all of the employees are very friendly. I ordered a boba smoothie, and it was beautiful. It tasted amazing as well. Keep up the good work, Hi Tea!
Katherine Lee Curran: Visited Hi Tea the other day and it was amazing! Service was a 10/10, a girl named Mei made my matcha and it was sooo good!!
Morgan: Love it here
Gabriella Heidorn: This place is so cute and has the best Taro and Thai milk tea! The food is always great and I highly recommend the gyoza. I love it
Jaskiren Jhaj: good bobaParking: good parking spaces
Johnny Wang: Absolutely horrendous “service” and ramen was some of the worst in STL. Overpriced and watery. Super unsanitary. Didn’t give us soup spoons, when I asked for them, gave us one dirty spoon, then threw spoons at us when we asked for clean ones. Who does that?
