Forest Park Golf Course: what do users think?
Henry Liaw: I've been playing Forest Park Golf Course, for eight years, and I've booked this course for multiple AACC annual golf gathering events in addition to the Chinese Golf League's end-of-season scramble competition. The pro-shop employees and golf director are very welcoming.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …More
Spencer Mackel: Great experience for someone out of town looking to get in a quick game of golf!I walked into the shop during the beginning of a tournament, and the staff helped me reserve a tee time for the afternoon, as well as making sure I had a clean cart. There are three 9 hole courses to choose from, making it tough to get bored of playing for a regular. The tee boxes were nicely kept as well as the fairways and greens. I got paired with another player and the game went along nicely. One thing I really enjoyed was how spaced out the groups were. One factor I really appreciated about the course was not once were we waiting for a group in front of us to finish the hole, nor did we have a group trailing right behind us. I look forward to playing the other two courses on my next visit to St Louis.
Keith D: Nice courses.
TarayqHussaini Syed: Small beautiful walkthrough place.
Lucas Winkelmann: Golf enthusiasts, prepare to be impressed! I recently had the pleasure of visiting the picturesque Forest Park Golf Course, and I must say, I was blown away by the exceptional experience I had. This golf course truly exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with Nicole in the pro shop. Her professionalism and helpfulness were truly commendable. From the moment I walked in, Nicole greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a fantastic round of golf. Her knowledge of the course and its amenities was impressive, and she was happy to answer any questions I had, making sure I had a seamless experience from start to finish.he fairways were lush and well-maintained. The challenging layout of the course provided a thrilling and enjoyable round of golf, and the breathtaking scenery added an extra layer of beauty to my game. The attention to detail and care that goes into maintaining this course is truly evident and appreciated. The facilities at Forest Park were top-notch as well. The clubhouse was clean and well-equipped, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind after my game. The pro shop was stocked with a wide selection of quality golf gear, and Nicole's expert guidance helped me find the perfect golf balls and accessories to enhance my game.Overall, my experience at Forest Park was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of the stunning course, superb facilities, and outstanding service from Nicole in the pro shop made my visit truly memorable. I highly recommend this golf course to any avid golfer looking for a top-tier golfing experience. I can't wait to return for another round at this gem of a course and enjoy the exceptional hospitality provided by Nicole and the entire team. Bravo!
Kelly France: Great Course and friendly people. I will definitely go back. 4/5 just because the greens were aerated.
Hannah Cunningham: Nice course. The greens were a bit brown and lumpy l.
Noah Isreal: Nice
Richard Beye: Hawthorne was on pretty good shape for 3/1. Greens all rolled true.
Your Story Photo Cinema: We've photographed weddings here for over 13 years and the staff are always to work with and our couples love them! Gorgeous venue that is a perfect backdrop for a wedding!
Ryan: Gold course public shex gouse
Al Pflueger: Nice golf course, but got my GPS stolen from my golf cart when at the pro shop.
bill cramer: Fun we'll manicured.
Nick C.: This golf course is great! The greens were nice and well taken care of and the views were nice.
MAD Cat: Great place for golf and good times. The staff is excellent and the area is upscale. The green is well maintained and the sand traps are top notch! 'Cause hey! I'm a cat. I know this sort of thing. 🐈⛳
Patrick Decker: Always a great Wedding Venue and Lexi, Herschel and Anunda are the best to work with
Jim Villa: An excellent golf course, a little pricey on beer
George Lodes: Beautiful corses in a great setting!
John Landes: Amazing Iconic
Jesse Baker: Avoid at all costs. Management has no clue what they're doing. Tee times only ten mins apart. Leads to back ups on every other hole. Never played a round here in under 5 hours. Course condition is fine but not worth waiting on every tee box. The only positive thing about FP is its central location. Everything else is mediocre at best.
Craig Kinmann: Lovely place the staff was perfect and greens were great.

Walters Golf Management: what do users think?
ryan taylor: This company was kind enough to sponsor a veterans'' retreat in Shiloh and asked for nothing in return. I wanted to personally thank them for being so kind and caring to those who have served our nation. These people truly care about their community. I wish there was more that I could do to repay them.If you are reading this: This is the company to choose if you're looking for people that cares, this is the one.Walters Golf Management, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Patrick Wampler: Jeff and Jay handled a difficult shuttering of the Normandie golf course in a professional manner. I will continue to visit Walters other properties.

The Highlands Golf & Tennis Center: what do users think?
Johnhalprice: Lost my reservation on a super busy Sunday. Had to drive 30 minutes just to play somewhere else.
Kyle B.: As a fee-paying member, the driving range is perfectly suitable. Putting green can get crowded. Course is good enough.
Andrew: Good 9 hole course that isn’t too hard. I like that there aren’t a lot of hazards like lakes where you could loose balls easily but yet there are still some unique holes . The monthly membership is a great value for unlimited range balls and $10 greens fee for certain times . Only complaint is that sometimes the range balls aren’t always the cleanest and they could use some rubber tees that are a bit taller
Keith Gunnett: Average round. Course is in great shape.Go to Forest Park people!!!
Bryan Schwarz: Great 9-hole course and driving range...super convenient with great views of Forest Park and the CWE.
Alan Gates: Great 9 hole course and a very good staff. Very helpful!!
Tucker Wright: People were moving so slow. At one point there were four twosomes on one hole. Took me an hour and 15 minutes to play five holes. I finally gave up and went to the clubhouse. I was told that people were starting on the 2nd and fourth hole so they wouldn't have to pay. I don't know, but it was my first time that I had a bad experience here.
Stephen Sheridan: There are no rules! Love this place
DW Palme: Tennis courts are fan DAMN tastic! I have played golf twice here and the course was in picture perfect shape. Absolutely no complaints.
Perry Martin: Great Course..Fast Greens..
KING OFSTADIA: price is way too much for the offering, Go to Hawthorne or Redbud....
J: Play tennis there clay courts was a great experience if you like clay tennis courts this is where it's at
Sunshine Audit: Course was in very nice condition. Pro school worker was a bit condescending and didn’t make me feel welcomed. Driving range and 9 hole look very nice to start the season
Ashley Robinson: Very nice!!! Took my daughter golfing here. It's a great course for beginners
Kris Peterson (krisp - she, her): I really enjoy spending time at The Highlands. I just started golfing and am taking lessons from their resident pro, Mark Lewis. The range and the course are well maintained. Membership is $80 and includes all the range balls you can hit. They have a typical range set up, putting green, and an area to hit off the grass and practice shorter shots and pitching.I don’t know much about the Tennis side, but it also looks lovely.
Steven Dalbey: Didn't know this place existed until I went looking for a driving range during the middle of the pandemic. You can join as a member for $70/month peak season or $35 off season for unlimited range buckets and $10 for 9 holes during a generous range of times during the week/weekend. I believe juniors 16 and under play free with a paying adult. The course is enjoyable to play, check it out
Austin Otwell: Had an issue with the staff’s etiquette on the course while I was playing a early morning tee time (before work). Was the only golfer out there and person working on green was on one of the holes. Waited a while and decided to move on to the next and possibly come back. Went to tee off and he drove in front of me and proceeded to drive up the fairway and work on that green so I couldn’t move on. Then preceded to stare me down as I went ahead and lay-up and play the hole. When I brought the incident up to the club house I was told “I can’t see him doing that”. Probably won’t be back with plenty of other options of courses in the area.
Ed L: Great 9 hole course and reasonable.
Jeffrey Wright: Well kept course and various useful practice areas; a great course for a quick 9 holes
Jeff Reddy: Fun course
Tony Boutte: Very good municipal course. Great for anyone living in the area. Well maintained.

Ruth Park Golf Course St.Louis: what do users think?
Colin Van Hare: 5/23/23 update: course is in as good a condition as I've seen it in 6+ years. THICK rough, lush zoysia fairways and firm bent/poa greens.
23yessir1 w: Very good municipal course , nine hole .
Max Adams: Golf
Scott A: A great little 9 hole muni. A couple challenging holes, walkable but a little hilly but always in great shape! Nice driving range too.
Henry Liaw: The Chinese golf league plays here every Saturday morning, from the tees to the greens, which are well-kept due to the efforts of the ground crew and the pleasant pro shop employees. I have enjoyed playing this course for the past eight years.
S Eagle: I can’t rate a place any lower but they deserve it. It might be an OK place to go if you’re just starting to play golf, but charging a dollar for a cup of water is a disgustingly bad idea!
TAKATOSHI ARAI: cool !
Scott Engle: Nice clean course. Great people work there. Just a good place to be
Tim Carpenter: Much nicer than I remember.
Joe Kenney: Beautiful course that offers a nice 9-hole game. Reasonably priced with a fair enough callenge
Joe Reynolds: They do not update website. Driving range said it was open on website but was closed when I got there.Edit: they seem like they are doing a much better job of keeping their site up to date. Increase to three from one stars.
Larry Singer: Great 9 hole course. Unfortunately, the range is closed for repairs for the season.
Margaret Quaka: Great 9 hole course. Greens and fairways are in good shape this Summer 2022.Can walk the course!
Dave Woolley: This 9 hole course is a hidden gem!
Alex Hill: Lovely place. My very first golfing experience occurred here. I lost all of my balls on the first hole (literally and metaphorically).
Bernie Dippolito: Great local 9 hole course. Affordable, kept in decent shape. Nice little driving range
Jared Anderson: This a perfect round of nine. Range, too. The course is in terrific shape, rarely backs up too much, and there are two very challenging holes (#2 and #5). Par is gettable if you putt well. Definitely a well-kept secret and less mainstream alternative to FoPo or Creve Couer which are slower rounds.
Samuel DiLorenzo: Great city golf course. Well kept and reasonable prices. Golf carts were newer
Bryan Schwarz: Great 9 hole course with driving range centrally located.
Steven Constantin: Great muni, reasonably priced and well maintained
Dan Hutti: Played with my 25 year old daughter at Ruth Park today. I had not been there in 10 years, and from what I remember the fairway grass has been improved. I was very impressed and it is a very nice 9 hole.

Glen Echo Country Club: what do users think?
tim: Perfect should you have the chance to play. Very historic and you will do well to remember it on each hole. Small greens and very fast. Enjoy
Laura Hermann: This place is a gem! So beautiful and historic! Love the food!
Paul Kohnen: Fantastic
Steve Mahfood: A real surprise! A wonderful celebration and wonderful staff‼️
Csilla Fodor: This is an amazing place. We came for lunch, and the food buffet was so delicious. Everything that we tried was amazing, from the simplest dishes to the more complex ones. The staff were super nice and great, and the whole place was beautifully decorated and well maintained.I definitely recommend this place, it has great food, nice environment, beautiful golf course, and awesome staff. It’s a good place to come with family and friends, and I will definitely come back when I get the chance again.
Dave Woolley: What a beautiful and historic facility! Built for the 1904 World's Fair, the course has turn of the 20th century charm. The staff is incredibly attentive to the needs of the members and guests and the catering is top notch! An interesting and challenging course, too!
TJ Butts: Very nice facility. It's back up in cut, kind of hard to find. Should have a sign at the entrance from Lucas and Hunt.
Thomas Sandifer: A hidden St. Louis gem!
Alicia Berry: First time there and it was very clean, spacious, cozy, and inviting perfect place for any event.
Tom Brimer: Wedding reception for Corey and Maggie Scott. Dinner, dancing, and refreshments. Excellent staff and Facilites.
Michael Buell: I have only played the course once, 70 degree day in December when the rough was short, fairways dormant, no leaves on the trees, and the greens not up to Summer condition. It is an old course on fairly hilly property. Many holes tee off down to a valley and then back up to the green. I do not recall that there are any fairway bunkers and I do not recall bunkers being directly in front of any green. There are approximately four par fours in what I would call the short range from 300 to 360 yds from the White tees. There are also about four or more long par fours over 400 yds from the white tees. The course is covered in pin oaks many of which are diseased and will have to be removed. It is my understanding that approximately 115 are slated for that. The primary course defense is the hilliness, including many fairways that slant from side to side, and the slope of the greens. Because many are on the top edge of a hill there is more slope to the green than appears. Most of the holes are straight away and the few dog legs that exist are mild. This overall setup requires you to be able to move the ball both ways from the tee or at the very least hit a straight drive that you can aim up the left or right side to ensure that it finishes in the fairway. With most of the greens elevated you have to be able to drop the approach where needed rather than run the ball up even though most of the greens are open in the front. The greens are not overly large either so where you leave the ball on the green is important. You don't want to be behind the hole too often when the pin is near the front or even in the center. The bunkers are fairly deep and some have pretty steep walls facing the green. The sand is very fine but not exceedingly deep but that may just have been the winter conditions. Keep your tee shots in the fairway because you will not get enough spin out of the rough to control your distance to an uphill green. I look forward to playing this course in season and perhaps give it a more fair assessment. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had lunch in the restaurant and I thought there were a number of good choices and everything was well prepared. It's a great old Tudor style country clubhouse that could use some updates to the locker rooms.
Guy Kellerman: Very nice and a great place to have a Christmas party no matter the setting.I would have preferred an old-fashioned Christmas setting my self. But that wasnt the setting the company i was with choice. The baby grand and big fireplace are a great hit be nice to have the piano by the bar in the fireplace room
L Greer: Beautiful clubhouse and fascinating history. The oldest golf course west of the Mississippi. I attended a luncheon and the food was wonderful.
Deborah Jones: Great
It's Me: This is a very nice place to have an event.
William Sinon: An absolute showcase club here in STL. Become a member. Big recommendation
Tim Keeney: Glen Echo is a beautiful and challenging course! All of the staff we interacted with were enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nicely kept, too. If you ever have an opportunity to accompany a member be sure you do it.
Dwayne Bass: I grew up in Bel-Nor and know the course well. It's a classic layout that challenges you on every hole.
Carl Holt: I was fortunate to be a member at GECC for 10 years. Recently moved out of state so had to leave which was bittersweet. This club gave me so much. When I moved to STL I didn’t know anyone. At this club along with life long friends including one that ended up standing up in my wedding- I found my Lawyer, Jeweler, Dentist and Financial Advisor. It gave me so many connections in a new city. I LOVED the golf course. It’s an old classic track with fast greens and great variety. I miss the days going out after work playing a round of golf on a beautiful summer evening. Then having an adult beverage or two after the round with friends. This place will always be in my heart and can’t wait to come back and visit. If your looking for a great club that isn't pretentious, this is the one. Very welcoming and accommodating. Great Golf Course, Great Club, Great People. Thank you GECC!
Michelle Haley: Awesome day for golf at the best course in St Louis
Nancy Minnick: This is a lovely old country club. We had dinner on the patio while enjoying the sunset across the golf course. Causal, friendly service and family friendly( we had a 2yr old with us). Food and beverages were delicious. I recommend the Cobb salad.

Eagle Springs Golf Course: what do users think?
Shawn Harris: Golf course practice
Doug Stpeters: Awesome place
jimmie cottrell: Course was in horrible shape...goat ranch! Crab grass in fairways and on tee boxes. Worse I've ever seen it!
Keith Mcd: OMG….WTH HAPPENED, Eagle Springs was one of the better public courses in NOCO… The course is HORRIBLE, absolutely HORRIBLE…not 1 fairway was cut , not 1! I must say the greens were decent but getting to the greens was not even acceptable. Not sure if Mike still manages the course, when he was there it NEVER looked this blight. Mike may have had a chip on his shoulder but he knew how to maintain a consistent level of maintenance in the course. The same thing happened to the county course in SOCO, STL COUNTY WAKE THE HELL UP!!!!!
nathaniel lewis: Great course! Flat out. They have a nice range, a great nine hole par 3, and a awesome 18 hole gem. They also have pretty decent clubhouse along with great service. I would venture to say that this is about the best muni in north county.
Amy Torres: Beautiful course! Wide fairways and true greens but long enough to be a challenge. Great course for the price. Rarely play a round without seeing a few white tail deer. Saw a mom feeding her baby with spots recently!
Richard Beye: Played 8/21. Greens in great shape. Some fairways and tee boxes are showing lots of wear/ play. Fair price, with some challenges.
Shawn Robinson: Course was in incredible shape! I had not played here in about 3 years and was pleased to see the attention to detail still being maintained by the staff and grounds crew.
Rosie Turner: Wonderful. .
Diane Gruss: Busy, Great weather ☁️ at the ⛳.
gamerguy2060: My friend works here.
David shannon: Today was not a good day because of the fog and then it started drizzling on the back 9. We were able to get a rain-check to play another day.
Gordon Edwards: Loved it!!! Had a great time! There were a few members who were trying to be kinda pushy and rush us but we let them go around us so they could keep on going... I dont think it was very nice of them butttt like I said we just let them pass by and we stood behind
Douglas Waldon: Good pricing and staff
Hank Gustafson: Great course, easy going on a weekday
Jim Christian: Fun course.
Ricky Layman: Course is in the best condition I've ever seen it. It could use new cart paths, but the greens were in great shape, fairways good shape, and the rough was fairly consistent. Price isnt bad when you're comparing it to how inflated every course is right now. Pace was also pretty solid. 4 hours for 2 golfers behind 3somes and 4somes.
Matt Hartman: Greens are good fairways are pitaful.
Kevin Holland: Course was in great shape 👍
GARY BABE: Great course 👍
Thomas Braloski: Greens are in excellent shape, fairways are not greening up yet, typical of zoysia grass, I thought the senior price of $29.00 was outrageous, this course is fair at best.
