Gokul Indian Restaurant: what do users think?
Tara Smith: AMAZING! The curry is particularly good!
Jack Vandegriffe: Recommended dishes Paneer Tikka MasalaMore
Tasmeem Ahmad: I ordered food for pickup at 11:45am and called them at 11:30 to make sure it would be ready. I got there at 11:45am but the door was locked. Another customer and I waited outside and for at least 10mins until they let us in. The food wasn’t even ready until 12:05 and they didn’t offer any sort of discount or compensation (although they did give the other customer a mango lassi).Honestly, I wouldn’t write this review if the food was at least good, but it wasn’t. The curries were drenched in oil and the paneer dish barely had any paneer.Save yourself the headache and get food elsewhere
Sonu Kumar Tiwari: It’s not available for dine in as mentioned on google listing. I ordered food once and found it miserably horrible. They just sent huge qty of rice with oil and color and some poor quality paneer in the name of paneer tikka biryani. Even the saag paneer was horrible and I developed serious digestion issues that lasted for 3 days .I went again for dine in around 5 pm on weekend and found it closed. There was nobody there to answer anything. It was a horrible experience again.Maybe they are going through some challenge but somehow feel such a chain must be managed well in customer’s interest.
Plz be nice: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Vish Keshav: Excelled at both quality and the quantity of the food.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Madhusudhan Reddy: The restaurant has provided false information on their Google listing, as they claimed to offer dine-in service but were actually closed for it when we arrived. This has caused inconvenience and disappointment for us as we were hoping to eat at the restaurant. In addition, the quality of the food ordered was not up to par, as the raita that came with the veg biryani was spoiled and bubbling with fermented gases. This is a serious issue that could pose health risks to anyone eating from this place.
Jorden N: I’m not vegan or vegetarian but this was fantastic regardless
Shivam Kothari: Great food. The only pure veg Indian restaurant in the area. However would have liked dine in a little better. As of now they only have takeout.
Madhu Poornima: I wish I could give neg stars. Being a visitor from another state and the wonderful lies written in other reviews made us opt for this restaurant..We ordered many items with a bill of $90 and not even one of them were made properly. The veg pakora has tooo much salt, the bhature were pretty hard, chole is just canned chick.piece with some masal, aloo paratha was paratha minus aloo, had to search for the stuffing and don't get me started on paneer biryani. It was a joke. The chef has no clue what cooking is. Adding garam masala to rice along with salt in dripping oil and paneer pakoda is not paneer biryani. Please go back to chef school if you had attended any. In the end, please don't order from this restaurant if you know what food is.
Nimish Gupta: Absolutely awful! Everything was stale (samosas, paneer pakoda). All went in trash. Eating a nut bar for dinner instead.
Sejal Sah: The lady was so rude and the customer service was horrible.
Yelleni Shiva: Best and friendly customer service with tasty food. Love this place
girish gupta: Worst place which makes us to wait long time with dull receptionist face…! Moham moggala petkunarenti andi?
Tejasvi Kaliga: Ordered vegetarian Manchuria and Samosa Chaat. Samosa chat was ok and can give may be 2.5 Starts, but Veg Manchuria is really bad. Tastes really bad and has very bitter taste and could not finish 10% of it.
Mariah Parsons: I was picking up an order and I saw a man on his phone right by the door I knocked on the door and he ignored me even though he was sitting right by the door when I was trying to explain I had a pick up. I called the number on the door that told me to call for a pick up and nobody answered. The young man was just on his phone with my order on the table next to him and refused to give it to me! Never go here they are rude!
Bill Pat: Very good option for vegetarians totally vegan
Devorah Leah Brown: Literally the BEST Indian vegan food EVER!! Fantastic in every way! We are kosher and vegan, so this place really ticks all of the boxes. It we lived closer, we'd dine here several times a week!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kasia Kornacki: Excellent food and great service. They were able to accommodate my unique order.
Richard Kestenbaum: Great food, reliable delivery.
Neetu Choubey: One of the best places to get authentic Indian food not just in STL but anywhere. Definitely recommend this.

Yashesh Gurrala: Kitchen closes before the restaurant.. Call before you drive all the way..:)
Linda D'Agrosa: I have been going to House of India, since it opened. The food is outstanding and the staff is warm and caring. Best Indian food in St. Louis!👍👏Dietary restrictions: I am a Vegan and House of India has plenty of options for me.

Robin Lee: As always, House of India did not disappoint. One of our favorite places. And the Tandoori chicken is always divine! It is moist and flavorful. We tried the vegetable appetizer for the first time today and it was delicious. The spinach/ potato appetizer is so tasty it does not need any sauce. It also included samosas, fried onions and fried cheese.Yum!Service was wonderful as usual too!

Moris Behar: First time trying House of India and I was rather disappointed. The mango lassi was delicious, but that’s where things ended. Both our meals were very meh and lacked flavor
Jonathan Cheatham: Great authentic Indian food with friendly staff and a nice clean facility. They make all our favorites and make them very very well!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Nan …More
Ginger Pierce: Great food, Great service. Antonio is very attentive and knowledgeable...only thing...I'd love to hear Indian music. Can't wait to come back!Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes …More
Rebecca Parker: Great service!
Michelle C Peters: Ordered delivery Chicken Tika Masala lunch and loved it.
Brinda Gupta: My go to Indian restaurant in stl!!
Patrick Hayes: Garlic nan bread good, Kachoombar salad ok, Mango Lassi was great but the problem was with the Chicken Tikka Masala - 5 grizzle pieces (one piece was over 1" by 1" large) along with 3 bones (of which I cut roof of mouth with). When mentioned to waitress no concern, brought the check over no entree comped or please come back and we will do better next time - NOTHING she offered.Up until this point I SO ENJOYED AND LOVED COMING for meals which had always been so good. POOR customer service
Google Member: Food was horrible. The gobi wasn't cooked, it was rock hard. The lunch buffet was taken away. The rice was old, it tasted like it was rewarmed. Samosas took more than 20 minutes to serve. They appeared to be frozen samosas. Poor service as well.
LJ Holmes: Good, inexpensive Indian food. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. Lot of take out business. We ate in and had the dinner for two. I thought the meat in the tandoori mixed grill was a bit dry for my taste but tandoori cooking is not what I'm looking for usually. The dal and mullagwantany(sp?) soups were excellent as were the lamb curry and vegetable korma. Rice and bread were great. The desserts were fine if you like Indian desserts. Very reasonable, very friendly, very good food.
Cote Brillant: They have friendly people working here and plenty of healthy options. I love the curry but be sure to tell them your level of spice. Good price food. Very flavorful. Try it.Vegetarian options: Rice beans nan bread vegetable meatless options

Uber Bike: Just accept it.
MG: I love this restaurant every time I dine in or order takeout . Everything is so flavorful and delicious. Heard they’re not doing dine in anymore but it’s okay since the portions are so reasonable for to go as well. Never had bad experiences and hoping same for future 😃😃
Sherita Boursh: Waiter was rude
Brendan Burke: Great food. Friendly staff answered all questions. Worth the wait for this amazing food.
Tanisha Joshi: food is grossly overpriced compared to quality. curries are made with little to no authenticity and have added artificial dyes for coloring to compensate for it. raita barely passes for raita. its indian food packaged for white ppl
Amber Kresha: We did not get a chance to try this place. When we walked in for lunch all of the chairs were turned up and a very nice woman let us know that they do carry out only. Unfortunately we were not from the area so we had to eat elsewhere.
Keenan A: They refuse to reopen their diningroom
Abby Ford: Staple stl Indian food! Solid portions and delivers on speed and taste every time
Sawan Maratha: No body came here is too bad food
Safira Sutton: Best Indian food I’ve had in my life this far.Recommended dishes Cheese Naan, Tandoori Chicken …More
ashish patel: I think they should say it online . Too much inconvenience as we went family of seven and had to shift as no dine In available
JonCharles Fonte: If you’re looking for good Indian food, do yourself a favor and order from here at least once.Recently moved to the area from LA and have struggled to find a good Indian food joint. After trying five or 6 different spots we stumbled upon Rasoi’s. They are only take out, but completely worth it in my opinion. Great casual takeout with a lot of flavor.Ordered Samosa’s, chicken Makhani, and cheesy garlic naan.
Sarah Hainline: Our go-to Indian place. Their food is always delicious, and ready on time. Only takeout since Covid, but hasn’t affected the quality of the food.Recommended dishes Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala …More
Varun Gupta: I wish they had dine in option. We used to go there often because Indian food is meant to be eaten fresh, take out does not offer you that freshness. Since, they don’t have dine in now we ended up exploring more Indian options in the county. We will definitely go back once they have dine in option available again.
Andres Pedraza: By far the best chicken Tikka masala I've ever had in town. Great flavor

Khaled Dekkar: Terrible customer service and most pathetic attitude from the waiter and cook/owner , the food is not authentic Indian food. We requested Biryani but was served the absolute most pathetic biryani I have ever seen in my life, when we returned the food, the waiter refused to cancel the order and didn’t even bother to offer an alternative, the manager pretended that his boss was not there. This the absolute worst restaurant I ever been to in my life.

This lowlife waiter person could not even watch at 2 year old enjoying around.Food is good but doesn't have authentic taste. The quantity was decent too. Though, The onion kulcha could have been a little better. The deserts especially Shahi Gulab Jamun was delicious. Overall had a hearty lunch !

Lauren Hoaglin: EDIT: The unprofessional man child owner responded by calling me a liar. This owner calls everyone a “liar” if they a one star review Included Desi ppl. So is everyone a liar or can not you you handle criticism?? Hmm… I think its the latter. So embarrassing for an owner to act like that.We arrived at 8:15 they closed at 9:00. The main waiter came out and said “Dine or pick up?” We said dine in. He immediately had the most dramatic sigh and rolling of the eyes said “Our kitchen closes at 8:30 so, you need to order right now” and had a mini freak out on us. We said we already know what we want and they slammed our menus and our waters down on the table.I finally had enough and asked them if the wanted us to leave they started to backtrack. I ordered my saag mushroom at a spice 3 out of 5 and went it arrived it was very bland in seasoning and spice. My table ordered 2 chicken korma and only got one. its sad causes was the first meal our family in STL
Alex Besmer: Hey fellow foodies! I've recently had an amazing culinary experience at Saffron, an Indian restaurant tucked away in Town and Country, Missouri, and I can't help but share the good vibes.Entering Saffron, you'll be welcomed by a clean, traditional Indian setting. It's not flashy, but it's warm, inviting, and well-kept. It's as if you're stepping into a mini India right here in Missouri - a testament to the authenticity of their food.Service-wise, it was pretty standard. The team was bustling around, serving the customers - a good sign of a popular spot. While the service wasn't overly personalized, they were quick and got our orders right, which is all you really need for a satisfying dining experience. Now, let's talk about the real deal - the food. We kicked things off with Gobhi Lasanwalla, Aloo Parantha, and Peshwari Naan. The Gobhi Lasanwalla was the standout - perfectly cooked cauliflower florets bursting with flavor. The Aloo Parantha and Peshwari Naan were just as delightful, setting the bar high for what was to come. For our mains, we opted for the Chicken Tikka Masala and Kadhai Lamb. Served over rice, both dishes were simply top-notch. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and subtly spiced, while the Kadhai Lamb was tender, savory, and packed with flavor. In a nutshell, Saffron might not be the fanciest place around, but their food is absolutely stellar. So, if you're in Town and Country, Missouri, and are craving authentic Indian flavors, Saffron is a must-try. From me, it's a well-deserved 5 out of 5!
jack muskopf: We get food from here all the time! Always delicious and great service! Very kind!
0 0: The food was sooo good! Me and my husband are definitely coming back!Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken Makhani …More
Sumanth Sonu: I recently dined at Saffron India restaurant and overall had a good experience. The vegetable fried rice was flavorful and paired well with the dishes I ordered. The chicken biryani was definitely a standout, with each grain of rice cooked to perfection and the chicken tender and aromatic. The samosa was just okay in my opinion, but the aloo bajji and pakoda were both very tasty and had the right amount of spice. The naan was fresh and fluffy, and the palak paneer was rich and creamy. The chicken korma was also impressive, and tasted authentic with the right blend of spices. Finally, the mixed vegetable gravy was a pleasant surprise and rounded out the meal nicely. The service was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I would recommend Saffron India restaurant for those looking for quality Indian food in the area.Vegetarian options: Had wide rangeKid-friendliness: SpaciousParking: Just Infront of the storeWheelchair accessibility: NoDietary restrictions: Veg and non veg
Niki Dole: The food was delicious and deserves more than 3 *, however the service came without a smile or even a goodbye as we left. The waiter clearly objected to my request to sit at a specific ‘empty’ table and didn’t bother to hide it.Shame 😔Vegetarian options: Separate vegetarian menu was very nice
Bespoke Painting Services: Delicious food and very pleasant service. Great atmosphere. No waiting on a Saturday night when other Indian restaurants had a long wait times. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
