God Body Rahk: 🚫❌🛑I called this company May the 23rd 2022 talk to a guy gave him my information address of my storefronts needing glass replaced in a few sections of my storefront. The guy told me that he would come out the next morning at 9:30. I called the next day in the morning to confirm, to make sure that everything was still good the next morning talk to a lady receptionist and she said I must have the wrong number. I explained to her that I talk to someone yesterday and was trying to confirm my appointment for today. I gave her my address which was on Dr Martin Luther King and she basically said she will get back with me to see if I were scheduled and hung up. I called back and she said that they were too busy to come out and wouldn't be able to come out this week. So I asked her can they come out another time and she said "they only deal with "big big contractors". I told her I am a contractor and a developer. She's still did not want to do business with me. Not even give me a bid. Keep in mind I was told by a guy already that they were coming out the next day. I'm glad I wasn't down there waiting on them. Something told me to call and confirm. I would have just been sitting. I guess I'm a waste of there time because I'm not a "big big" enough company for them. Not even knowing me or anything about me. Why have a business with the name" Budget" when you're only looking for "BIG BIG CONTRACTORS". HOW DO YOU DETERMINE IF SOMEONE IS A BIG BIG CONTRACTOR /COMPANY OR NOT ON THE PHONE!

Elizabeth Donnelly: I have had such a good experience with Empire Supply Co that I am back for a second round of window replacements and storm windows.I worked with Gwynn and Scott last year to replace a small set of critical windows in the basement that were drafty and broken and a set of storm windows over the original historic windows in my child's room. The whole process was smooth between the survey, the bid, and the replacement I really didn't have to worry about a thing. And now that I have the new windows and storms the difference is amazing. There are no longer drafts and the noise from outside is practically nonexistent.So as I said, I'm back for round two, because I want the same benefits on the windows in my bedroom as well.I would highly recommend Empire Supply Co for an easy, friendly, and just generally great customer experience.

Nick Boercker: I wish that I could give empire more than 5 stars! Gwynn has been my saving grace on two separate egress window projects now. I called every single window supplier, manufacturer, and installer I could find in the Saint Louis area and none of them came close to Empire’s price and timeframe. One set of windows I ordered in the middle of the pandemic and was told 5 weeks and they came in 3. I ordered another set of casement windows for egress 3 weeks ago and was told they would take 6 weeks, I picked them up today. Under promise and over deliver seems to be the motto here. If I was too far away, which is shocking since the person that referred me was not, then why couldn’t that have been established when they took my address the week before?

Not only were they the first to suggest the tempered glass, the piece of glass I needed was for an outdoor table top project, they also had the best prices by far. And the customer service...second to none. They followed up and had the glass ready before the original pick up date. If you have any glass needs, they have an incredible variety, are super knowledgable and easy to work with. It is a husband and wife business and they are local. ALWAYS pick a small business first. Ryan Leeker: Had some leaking from one of our glass block windows. Had a Tuckpointer do some work, but still leaked. Called Glass block to come do a service call on the window and waterproofing. Took them a month to make the visit. The gentleman who came said his ladder didn’t reach that high after looking and then he left with no follow up. Before making the appointment, the owner came out to look at the window from the ground, so he knew it was a second floor window. It’s like they didn’t want the business or to try and help. Terrible customer service and all around lack of interest and care.

Ms. C: The secretary act as if she had an attitude that morning. I was there around 7:45 a.m. She was sarcastically trying to rush me on to pick out the glass. Then when I picked it up, the person that repaired the glass had little to none glass around the window. So the person that handed the widow frame to me he was ok. When I looked over the window frame, that's when I noticed the glack/ caulk was little to known and the window had a crack in it. He had to do it completely do it over remove the caulk/glazing off. Make me wander was this done because I'm a black woman. This company was highly recommended by my caucasian friend. I would love to had a pleasant professional treatment with them. Once they got it done correctly, the attitude was still was there. I did not get out of character at all. I was still pleasantly speaking and patience. Have a wonderful day.
