Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls: what do users think?
toinette jones: Rehoboth
Crystal Fritschle: my daughter has been here for 4 years. we absolutely love it ❤
Demonya Spruill: The school is extremely dysfunctional. Teachers quit in the middle of the year, students misbehave 24/7. The majority of students here are not meeting their grade level standards for test. You barely learn anything in class because 1 you have already learned the lesson before that the teacher is teaching or 2 students or misbehaving in class and the teacher is not able to teach. The drama here is out of control it's not settled in the proper manner for a environment with all girls. The school is not a environment for a person who wants to obtain the best education they can recieve. Now if you want your child to be in a drama filled, bullying, dysfunctional, or unruly environment go ahead and send your daughter here. The staff here are quitting because they do not like working here. One teacher said and I quote"I hate this Fu&#$!ng place. They have zero structure in the school no principal and the excutive director quieted. In gym class the kids are allowed to do whatever because the teacher is a substitute and he allows the students to operate his class while he sits at a table eat food, play music, and whatever else he decides to do. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE AND PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR A JOB HERE. I AM TRYING TO WARN YOU. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE.
Eboni Murphy: DO NOT PUT YOUR GIRLS HERE. They need to shut it down and leave it that way. Behind the school is a halfway house on top of the lack of crucial information that never tell the parents. My daughter is in need of academic assistance and they refused to do IEP. Several teachers quit which resulted in my daughter grades being affected and they have no solution or staffed Principal. The worst thing i ever did was enroll them here with high hopes. Plus the uniforms are high priced! Not worth it.
Shawn Walker: I have 2 daughters who attend Hawthorn and coming from private schools I thought it would take forever for them to adapt...Boy was I wrong. They ❤️ It and I do to.They’re going next semester too 🙌🏽
Nikole Searcy: this school is bad, teachers do not teach properly so most of the kids there don’t learn antything. you can’t even walk around the school with your phone in your back pocket. if it’s cold in the classroom you cannot wear your regular jacket or you will get a detention. 4 staff members left in the school year of 2018 - 2019 and the principal. the school is too strict you won’t have any freedom.
De’Ja Thompson: This school is horrible, has no academic challenges, and the teachers are rude and only their for the money. If I could I would give this school zero stars. Please if you are a parent reading this do not send your children here.
Imani Bentley: This school is horrible. I’ve went to pick my sister up on several occasions and there has been little girls bullying other little girls while they wait for their rides. On one occasion I saw a girl throw a girl on the ground whose arm was broke, I notified the principle Ms Weins and she said they were “play fighting” but everyone knows you don’t throw someone on their arm that’s broke. On top of that the little girl who had been thrown was crying and Ms. Lawrence (the social worker) who ALWAYS has a horrible attitude got an attitude with the girl and start talking to her crazy. HOW IS SHE GETTING IN TROUBLE FOR BEING PUSHED ON HER BROKEN ARM ? Then another incident happened when 2 girls were walking out of the school and one start yelling at the other one and pushed her into the street while the other did nothing (she looked scared). Ms Weins and ms Lawrence were notified and said they were probably playing. The girls were recorded (I have the video) so you could tell they weren’t playing. When she found out that I had the video she asked that I email it to her and not put it on any social media because they knew they were wrong. I still will put in on any social media so you can see how these people are. I also had ms weins as an assistant principle when I was younger, she was bad to me and bad to other kids now. She acts different to parents , family members and other adults but if you’re a student she treats you any kind of way because you’re a kid BASICALLY. Some staff are wonderful and understanding but her and ms Lawrence SUCK. They also give out detention like free samples
Zelly Nicole: This school is way better than SLLIS. I just feel that they give dententions way to easly.
Markeia Thompson: Great teachers and staff just NO STRUCTURE THE GIRLS ARE OUT OF CONTROL AND NO ONE IS PUTTING A STOP TO IT THEREFORE IT INTERFERES WITH LEARNING IT'S A NO GO FOR ME AND MINE I NEED NSCS TO GET A MIDDLE SKOOL ALREADY UGGHHH
Mrs. B: Great curriculum, No NURSE, Anti bully plan needs to improve..... (The principal is amazing and Dean Hurculese) but the majority of the children are OUT OF CONTROL!!!! Enroll your children wisely! (PRAY)
toya blanks: Wonderful experience enrolling my granddaughter, excited about her going to this school. A wonderful curriculum with amazing dedicated teachers and students.
Stephen Douglas: Extremely nice staff and wonderful to work with.
Taija Paul Hodges: This school is awesome
Chris Meyers: Great student focused school. Teachers and staff go above and beyond to provide not only a quality academic setting but an overall development of each girl as a citizen of the community.
Peggy Schwartz: We love this school! There is joy in the halls as girls learn what they are capable of doing and being. ❤

Incarnate Word Academy: what do users think?
Lauren Coburn: Beautiful campus, stellar academics and wide variety of extra curriculars to ensure every Woman of the Word can find her calling. Best place to meet your life long best friends!
Lauren Fowler: I graduated from here and can say although it was very challenging it was the best thing for me. They prepared me for college and really pushed you out of your comfort zone. All of the teachers were very caring.
Rosalinda Williams: This school does not address bullying they just sweep it under the rug. I had to pull my child out because of all the bullying she encountered
