Scott Belt: We stopped at this farmers market in St Louis on our way back through while on a trip and I bought some dry rub to try like many times before. The two step is amazing!!! I have already ordered more of this one!! Best I’ve ever tried!!

Jacob Owens: Absolutely a staple in my seasoning cabinet. Oki is very knowledgeable in seasoning combinations and preparation. The 2-step dry marinade and seasoning is now a daily use item and is perfect for grilling or pan searing steak, salmon, shrimp, and more. It absolutely kicks your grilling/pan searing game up a few notches. The 2-step is a definite must try, trust me you'll be back... Tip: save yourself a trip and get the big jar. You'll spend sooooo much more at the grocery store trying to approximate this seasoning and you WILL be using it regularly 😉
Andrew Paniello: Battle Creek spices is one of St. Louis’ many hidden gems. Every product I’ve gotten from here has been great—“Oki’s Two Step” is perfect for red meat, “Walk the Plank” is a great way to add some flavor to fish, and “Blue Lotus” is a surprisingly relaxing and euphoric tea that is ideal for a Sunday afternoon. The guy (Oki?) selling them at the farmers market is also very cool, usually talking about topics much more interesting than standard business chatter. Reasonably priced, very high quality, sold from a local business—I strongly recommend giving them a try!
