Michael Wobbe: I ordered a grill in October. Not paid in full, but put money down. I was told it would take a couple of months, maybe get it in November.I called my salesperson a couple of times and was told it was not in. She said she would call the manufacturer, I never heard back. I called the week of Christmas, spoke with Jeff, he tells me “that’s a long time, says he will make a phone call and call me back”. Calls me back and schedules the install for January 24, 2022.I called on Friday January 14th to confirm installation, was told if it wasn’t to cold it should happen. I asked what temperature would be to cold, he told me the forties should be fine. He even recommended prepping the area with a tarp to keep the ground from being to cold. It has been very cold this week, but it will be well above freezing on January 24. I get a call today January 22nd about the install. I was told it’s been too cold to install on the 24th, they can’t do it. I said not acceptable, it will be a nice day the install should happen. She tells me let me check with a manager, calls me back says no it’s too cold. Will have to reschedule for the MIDDLE OF MARCH. That is not acceptable, I haven’t received a straight and honest answer from this store yet. I guess they don’t work in the winter months. Must be nice.This whole experience has been Very Disappointing!Update: I received a call from Jeff on February the 8th to schedule the install. It was set for the 23rd. The install went well, the installers did a good job of cleaning up. Jeff called me the next day to see how everything went. The new grill is very nice. It took awhile but we are now very happy with the purchase. Changed my rating from a 2 star to a 4 star.

Pat V: Wrote a negative review about Fireplace & Grill Center about a month ago concerning the gas logs we had installed over two years ago. Finally have a good outcome to report. After being advised by the owner called the store and talked with Bill, the General Manager. Reminded him of the problem with the gas starter. He came by the house on his way to work about 2 weeks ago and as soon as he came into the house could hear the gas logs pilot light at the front door (about 35' from the fireplace). He attempted to adjust the pilot without success. He called me back from the store and said he would send out one of their service/installation techs to replace my starter valve. Dan, the service tech, came by this morning and within about 15 minutes had it working well (silently). Hopefully this will be a permanent fix. Definitely recommend them.

William Shirley (Bill): Was interested in fireplace inserts and thought we would try Forshaw. Met sales rep Emily - very knowledgeable. Informed us of a lot of the intricacies of inserts. After thinking about it (they're not inexpensive) and after visiting two other stores, we decided on Forshaw. First, an estimator comes to spec out your situation. After down-payment (fall 2022), installation is then scheduled for 4-6 weeks out. On installation day, we had a crew of three arrive at about 7:30 AM to install 2 inserts. Job was completed at little past noon with comparatively little dust. We were fortunate in that utilities (gas/electric) could be run in the garage or through the ashdump so as to create and uncluttered appearance. Each insert has its own dedicated (paired) remote control.

Several "competitors" said the design we were looking for couldn't be done.Then we went to Arnold Stove and Fireplace and the staff was super helpful and they had no issues with the custom install. This place is top notch. Definitely the best place in town in terms of service, selection, and knowledge.We're loving the fireplace but we were having a minor issue with the wifi controller not working properly. The owner himself called me to resolve the issue and find a solution.If you are looking for a nice fireplace, and want something quality and that the retailer will stand behind...don't waste your time and just go to Arnold Stove and Fireplace.

Chris: Went in last fall and purchased a new panel for my fireplace and some smoking bros pellets for my smoker. I called and they said they had the part, went there and they said they didn't have it but could order it. They did and it took about a week. It is over an hour drive for me so the first trip was costly. While there I asked about chimney cleaning and they said they did service my area. Called to schedule a cleaning and was told they don't and the woman was extremely rude. I won't be back.

I thought it would be a hassle, but Jeremy helped me pick out a new grill and within 3 days they took out my old grill and re did my gas line for my Napoleon!

Debbie: We moved to Missouri in 2019. Shortly after we moved we found our living room was extremely cold. The fireplace insert that was in the fireplace was in really bad shape so we started looking for a new insert. We found Arnold Stove and Fireplace and were excited that it was a veteran owned business because my dad was a Korean vet. We were greeted by an enthusiastic salesman who steered us to the Harman pellet stove insert. He told us how clean and reliable they were. We on the spot bought the stove and had it installed. We paid to have it cleaned each year after we bought it by Arnold's serviceman. We had minor problems but nothing major until the stove was 2 years and 3 months old. At that time we were first informed that we needed close to $500 worth of parts. Then when we asked about installing the parts that we were outside of their service area. Then we got scheduled for service because we didn't know anything about taking the stove apart. When the serviceman came it took both him and my husband to get the stove out to work on it. I could not have helped the serviceman pull it out so had my husband not taken a vacation day to do it, the service couldn't have been done. Then the parts that we were already charged for were not what was needed. The serviceman did not have one of the parts needed to fix it and had to go to a hardware store for the part.The stove is great when it works but this year we went for 2 months, the coldest months without the stove. Think twice before you spend $7000.

My fireplace works great with no thanks to this place. All they wanted was for me to buy a whole new unit... not the right way to do business.

Tim Noonan: Very happy with our fireplace insert and installation. We had this done in October of 2020 so we could have an on-demand fire/heat option. I sure do miss having a wood-burning fireplace at times, but this proved to be exactly what we were hoping for. Something we could turn on while watching a show and turn off without fear of smoldering embers. The installation was super smooth and the guys cleaned up after themselves, which shouldn't be noteworthy, but it is! They sub-contracted the electrical, and he was great as well. It is clear that this is something they do regularly, including recurring collaboration with the sub-contracted electrician, so the whole crew was efficient in the installation. They were also very personable and helped to explain some of the installation steps and considerations. Overall, great job and we would do it again.Now the bad part, which is one project begets another project. ;)We added the TV and a self/custom-built mantle shelf...next up is new tile and bookshelves on either side of the fireplace. I can't help but to blame Fireside for these additional projects... ;)

Elvir “BOSNA-USA” Babic: SHAME ON YOU MANUFACTURER!!! I FEEL BAD FOR PEOPLE WHO FALL FOR THIS... I wouldn't give even 1star. I would never recommend dealing with this company. If you want to buy a new fireplace it ok to stick to this company. But if you are planning to get service through them or diagnostic done on stove it's all a scam manufacturer just tells them to change things without knowing the issue.. Their guys have no clue about anything came in stood in house for 10 min left took $115 said they'll call back with what the issue is with the machine. They didn't even touch the stove, didn't even bother trying to turn on. Sent a quote to email telling us need almost $500 to fix it. Husband took main board out cleaned it installed it back and fireplace turned on. Shame on you guys!!!! Lieing to people taking money for nothing. I have pictures and videos as evidence.
