Soulard Farmers Market: what do users think?
Alissa Trammel: We visit Spulard every time we visit St. Louis. Great produce, meats, and more at the best prices I have ever seen!! The people there are all so friendly and I've never gotten anything that wasn't great and fresh!!
Dawn Powell: The man that sells incense is always nice..The product smells really good. It fills the whole room with a pleasant aroma.
Brandon Norris: Soulard market has something for everyone. Grab yourself a drink when you first come in, then go for a stroll. Nice place to take the family on the weekend.
Tanisha M.: What an experience! If you're in STL, this is a must visit place.
Marie Collins: Had plenty to eat. My husband wanted to show me a place from his childhood
Jay May: One of my favorite places in St. Louis to visit. To my surprise, the spice shop offers gift certificates which made my mom's entire Mother's Day!
T Mar: I'll post pictures later. But this is a fantastic albeit small, quaint little market. The choice of produce is pretty fantastic and extremely affordable, from all the vendors. My wife tried the lemonade with honey, which was really good. There was a vendor that sold empanadas and I had cheese arepas. There is a shop that sells spice and if you walk by it and can't smell it and be in awe you are dead apparently, lol. This is our second time coming to the market and the only regret we have is not living close enough and or bringing a cooler to bring back some of that beautiful produce we saw. There is even a vendor that sells little chickens and one that sells various types of eggs(duck, chicken and ostrich) If you go bring a cooler and make sure you go with plenty of time to spare.
Timothy Ema: Great place to shop
Dawn Q: Sometimes love going late in the afternoon for marked down produce and a lot less people. Great place any time of day.
Candi Sharie Norm: Love it here been coming since a child now I’m 40ishhhhy lots of variety for all eating option (vegan and non)
Towona Jackson: Who doesn't like Soulard? 🤷🏾‍♀️
Sully Sullivan: Always have fun..prices a bit higher but to be expected ..luv the music as you walk in..
Rachael Vonbergen: Great prices and a wide variety of things to choose from
Cody Cummings: The Soulard Farmer’s market is one of the best local St. Louis experiences. It’s nestled in historic Soulard and is one of the oldest in America with it’s beginnings dating back to 1779. It’s been in it’s current location since 1838, and it’s 147 stalls bring in tons of local vendors selling fresh produce, meat, seafood, cheese, baked goods, spices, flowers, snacks, chickens and other items like clothes, rugs and gifts. It can get busy in the early hours on Saturday, but you get the best pick of produce if you go early. I’ve seen some deals later in the day, but if you’re choosy and not thrifty then go early. There are also many events scheduled throughout the warm months that take place in the courtyards next to the stalls, and they’re usually a lot of fun with music and additional vendors located outside. It’s a great place to take visitor and family if you’re in town on the weekend, and it usually take about an hour to walk through, if you’re stopping to browse.Overall it’s a really fun experience and I highly recommend visiting and when you’re done stopping my one of the many bars and restaurants in Soulard.
Kim Siercks: We had a great experience here, we ate yummy Vietnamese food for breakfast, bought all of our groceries for the weekend. Some prices are better than others, so I would definitely shop around for vegetables. We bought three ribeye steaks, a dozen eggs, and a pound of butter at one place and it only cost $44. and the quality was great. When we’re back in town, we’ll definitely return. My highlight was the great weaved basket I bought from a nice African lady, and the sesame balls from the Vietnamese place, they were super authentic and very yummy!
Tonya Moore: Staff are very friendly and the food taste delicious
Michael Griffin: A wonderful open-air market in Saint Louis with something for everyone. The best part, for me, is the street musicians.
rich adams: Truly a jem of St. Louis!!! A great place for families! Strongly recommend
Trevor's Subscriptions: If you believe in food conspiracies, believe "local" dirt grows better produce than other areas, and are a gentrified yuppy that likes spending well above market price for everything, this is the place for you. But if you believe in economies of scale and want to pay market price for groceries - maybe try another market.
Rose: It's open Wednesday thru Saturday. We went on a Friday, and it was open, but the vendors were pretty sparse.1st booth far north has excellent choices of all sorts along with great prices. Most of the vendors open were on the north side.Found some great heirloom tomatoes for a great price. There are a lot of new food booths too, we ran across Sur Sabor, a Chilean Empanda place with oven baked empanadas. Shrimp, chicken, beef, Carmelized onions, and the dessert empanadas, too.Prices are very reasonable and hard in the city to find empanadas. Will let you know how they are once we taste them. Next, Bridge Bread charity has cherry rolls, white cream cake, cranberry orange rolls, cinnamon rolls, breads, rolls, and more. You're helping support a charity with all you buy. Please check them out.Overall, a lot of new shops and vendors are definitely worth checking out.Supporting local businesses instead of chain stores keeps fresh produce and more coming back to Soulard Market as historic Landmark in St.Louis.
Lena Wyms: Such a wonderful place to shop. I went midweek. Found what I wanted and needed. Go and buy, look, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Tower Grove Farmers' Market: what do users think?
Mickey Whitney: What a joke! $9.00 for a quart of strawberries? That's just plain wrong!
Nick Teal: Really fun time with good eats, drinks, and items. Highly recommend the hotteok (delicious Korean stuffed pancakes with walnut, cinnamon and sugar) at the Food with Yoo stall. I ate 2 today and only regret not buying more.
Brittany Edwards: Best market I've been to. Good range of vendors, always a rotating assortment of food trucks/food tents, SO many dogs to watch, limited seating, but near loads of grassy areas, access to tennis courts and kid's play area, sometimes live music.
Lee Jones: Amazing array of produce, crafts, food trucks, cocktails, and people! Right by the playground, so great for kids and parents!
T Mar: I am sure there are people who are into chaos, but this was really extreme. There was parking all over the place and vendor tents just everywhere. I think it's great that people have an outlet to sell their items, but my wife and I had no idea what was what.
Amy C: Now THIS is a Farmers Market!!! It's HUGE! So many local vendors ranging from coffee to alcohol to candles to plants to fresh baked goods to fruits and veggies and so much more!!!
Eric Grierson: Fun
Michael Cuipa: Nice little weekly event during warm months. There is not as much produce as i would like. Lots of crafts and prepared foods. Fun to walk around and people watch even if you dont buy anything, but buy something anyway (to support locals and this event).
Johnny McConnell: Such a pleasant, pretty friendly event. Very well put on
Rachel S: Tons of stalls and a wide variety of offerings. You can find some good deals if you look. (There's also a booth with knife sharpening which is so helpful). We live local so we walk because parking can be tricky l.
Rick Stein: Great farmers market! A wide variety of produce, plants, prepared goods, and handmade crafts, in a beautiful park.
Susan F: The best Farmer's Market, friendly vendors, great variety of products available, really well run and set up.

John K: My daughter and I went to this Farmers Market 4 times during Sept-Oct 2022. There are a lot of vendors to meet. I ordered beef from a family farm, bought lots of jelly, jams and marmalades, bought lots of fresh veggies, fresh flowers, and we always got breakfast (blueberry biscuits, sweet crepes, savory crepes, and burrito). Bring a bag or two to carry your purchases. Lot's of fun!
Dennis Walsh: Wide variety of items to choose between and is also dog friendly.
Jack Peterson: Lots of goodies and dog friendly
Adrian Przezdziecki: Has non-hydrogenated lard, sausages, and goose eggs 👍

One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market: what do users think?
Themba Tshibanda: Wow! What treat! There are no grocery stores or fresh food options around for miles. This truly needed in my community where the alderman was just indicted. It is good to see poor black people take matters into our own hands. We know what we need...FOOD & these politicians refuse to serve our community. This is so wonderful & I am able to use EBT for everything!
Susan Armstrong: Amazing Farmers Market with DJ, speakers, vendors, great food, delicious spring water, and warmth of community!
Anthony Galloway: Its small but powerful atmosphere. Constructed with love, kindness, joy, understanding and unity.
