S L: Every divorce is unique. Mine was no different. Unfortunately, getting decent representation when you are forced to move out of state is probably impossible. I was told by Cara, Andy, and the GAL to give and give and give until I basically gave everything. Miraculously after I had given all there was to give, the divorce was finalized. Broken families are the foundations of which the STL family courts are built upon. Maybe look up "Shared Parenting" and "The Fathers Rights Movement" and you'll see that family courts are the reason for societies ills.I would call or email but it will do absolutely no good without my donating tens of thousands of my hard earned dollars to the family court system to get what should have been rightfully mine in the beginning. EQUAL AND SHARED PARENTING.

After doing an hour long phone consultation (which went very well) I set up an induction meeting to pay them for the services they were going to perform on my behalf.Fast forward to day of the meeting ( about 1 week later) and they call me approximately 10 minutes before the meeting to tell me“ It looks like your ex did a consultation with us In the past” that would’ve been at least 18 months.... and “even though she did not HIRE us... we will not take you as a client because of a potential conflict.”Very unprofessional. I absolutely understand that mistakes happen, but I don’t know how that doesn’t come to anybody’s attention on a hour long phone call and for an entire week. Also, that is a strange policy that a firm would not take a client based on literally just having a conversation with the other party well over a year ago.

Imani Unlimited LLC: Had a phone consult with one of the associates this morning. It was painful to say the least. She spent 10 min going over fees and costs instead of understanding my case and concerns, called 10 min late, and the rest of the conversation was spent not listening to me. I mentioned 3 times that I had a judge order relinquishing jurisdiction while she continued telling me I needed to file in the original issuing court. I don’t feel she heard me and ultimately felt like just another dollar sign being pushed through the consultation process...there was no care, no connection and no concern. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the fees are reasonable.

Eric Ellsworth: Cynthia was a court appointed mediator for a Contempt of Court & Motion to Modify case that I had to bring against my ex-wife due to multiple & repeated violations of our divorce decree regarding our children. Cynthia spent very little time with my children nor explored their needs in regards to co-parenting. She never examined the contempt facts that were clearly outlined by myself through court records nor did she ever look to assist in resolving the issues or help in making recommendations as to how to safeguard against future violations. She touted herself as experienced in such matters but never offered any solutions which would have protected both parents and more importantly the children's best interests towards co-parenting. I would not recommend her in any capacity when it comes to cases involving children.
Natalie Gorban: Not happy through the whole process with Cynthia Albin. She was not fighting for me and my children . I felt like I was running the case . My ex has not paid me even child support for 9 months while making thousands with his company and then I was told that’s how it was supposed to be . Late responses and poor management of the case . Felt left out and manipulated to settle . Would not recommend her to be your lawyer .

Here we are 9 months later and 3rd lawyer on his case and there has been absolutely nothing . No reduced child support no custody contract NOTHING . HARDLY ANY COMMUNICATION FROM THE NOW 3rd Atty ,,,, I cannot express how completely and utterly dissatisfied I amYet they are billing him now ,,,stating they have used up the $ 3500.00 retainer.Update here we are over a yr later and still nothing, do not have their clients best interest at heart and just wants you to accept whatever the opposing Atty offers it to complicated for them to fight for their clients rights ,,, I’m guessing nothing is settled still today . Sarahi Velazquez: Paid $3500 and $400 hourly rate. Hais wasn’t the attorney who showed up to court it was her associate Mrs. Delic for 2 OPs and the judge postponed the date. She just rushed and I feel like my input wasn’t taken into consideration and ended up with a bad arrangement. They didn’t even get to my custody case, filed a badly drafted custody pleading and in the end I ended up owing $840. They didn’t take my situation seriously, and they didn’t know how the medical Match works or explain what needed to be done if I had to relocate for work. There was no structure or direction to take on my case. I had to tell them what to do and advocate for my case. Which is the reason you get an attorney to fight the battle for you. I just had to settle for 50/50 and had to accept all the wrong things the father of my baby did.Until I found a new attorney who has a plan of attack.I Do not recommend Susan Hais or Dzenana Delic for your family case.

John Mac: Hands down Susan Hais and Caitlin Keene are some of the best Divorce attorneys in St Louis. After going through 3 other attorneys in Jefferson Co and getting the shaft from all of them, my case was a complete joke. I found Susan Hais, she took the case and felt I was clearly not being represented correctly. As you can expect I was about ready to just quit and give up, since being honest and truthful does not seem to get you anywhere these days in court. Susan stepped in and told me what to expect and the real costs worse case, to prove everything to go to trial. I did not want to spend anymore but understood. The first court date with Susan the other Attorney pretty much gave up and settled the case finally, I was amazed how worried and nervous he was, I am not sure what The two amazing Attorneys did to the opposing counsel in the Judges chambers, but it felt good to finally see a day in court going right for a man. During the whole remainder of the case Susan and Caitlin were always understanding of keeping their time time and billed fairly, they really worked for me and got it done. I was impressed and I am happy to highly recommend these two amazing Attorneys to several folks so far and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know who is in need of their services. Thanks again guys!!

They are responsive, which is key for an attorney, because you are going through a difficult time when you are having to work with a family attorney. Typically this is uncharted territory for most, and Hais knows this and goes above and beyond to educate their clients. They are the best family attorneys in St. Louis and are located right next to the court house in Clayton. This is a plus, because you are able to avoid all of the extra transportation and travel costs that other attorneys will charge, just to appear in court. If you are looking at reviews for attorneys and are trying to make a decision, call them and have a consultation. You will be happy that you did. If you want the best, this is the place to go.

Christine Lieber: If you want a lengthy and very expensive divorce this is the firm for you. Elliott Goldberger represented me for over two years until I fired him. I spent over $40,000 with this firm and never had a parenting plan, a settlement offer accepted or anything close to a divorce. Elliott took advantage of the fact that me ex and I did not speak and as a result continued continued continued with no results. My new attorney was able to get this divorce over and settled within 4 months. I would highly discourage you from using this firm.

It was clear from the start that we would be able to rely on Joe to be frank and honest, even if was something we didn’t want to hear.We were impressed and incredibly thankful that Joe sent monthly itemized statements showing his allocation of time to our case. We were never in the dark about what we were paying for. Even in times when not much was happening, we would get updates. This was incredibly helpful when it felt like this was never going to end.Our case ended up going to trial and that trial lasted more than 11 hours. Joe has an incredible ability to discern what evidence needs to be presented and what questions need to be asked. We were able to confidently rely on him and his competence during trial. I just can’t tell ya how awesome that felt!In addition to all of this, Joe is just a damn nice guy.
