The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is amazing!! Lisa at the front desk is awesome. Willing to go that extra mile to see her guest are taken care of. Jess Marie: New to the area, due to a job relocation. My husband's company PAYS for the room while we look for housing, etc. Everything was great at first, staff was amazing, and still is honestly. However, knowing the situation.. idk how many times our room was sold out from under us. One person allows an extension, the next say we're told it's not okay and they can't keep accommodating us anymore? The room is being paid for. We have a 4 year old, and get told early morning, that we HAVE to check out that day unless we book a certain amount of days. Communication between shifts, and positions is not well. We liked it here, but I guess we'll be finding somewhere else to go? Hearing from other staff. This happens quite often to people who stay longer terms..

Care Bear: We were here working. I don't really like Esa, but the company paid for it. When we arrived we went thru the process of we work, please no kids or animals around us. The lady informed my boyfriend that this was a clc hotel and it wouldn't be a problem. That was a lie. Everyday we were there, the upstairs guest made noises all night. The housekeeping was loud as, oh chile! And to top it off the 3rd night, there was a dog howling. The last night we was there, we had enough. We ask the front to please handle the noise and that we only had one night left. We informed her that this issue had been happening and we only wanted one night of rest. It got worst. Needlessly to say, we won't be back, even if we have to pay out of our pockets. They only received a 3 because they were clean and had a lot of kitchen utensils.

Bailey Renae: I would not recommend staying here due to cleanliness issues. The room was gross and appeared to have not been cleaned or at least not cleaned well. There were small hairs all over the toilet seat and long hairs in the bed sheets, sticky and discolored spots on the bathroom counter, unknown substances on the floor, and what I can only assume were splatters of bodily fluids all over the headboard and wall behind the toilet. The area also felt very seedy as well, there were lots of people out in the parking lot late at night and smoking on the balconies. I will not be risking another trip at any Extended Stay America because of the cleanliness issues at this location.

And the two occasions so far I’ve stayed 4 days I’ve had none of those spoiled rotten issues. It’s appropriate for the price point. My bed tub floors and surroundings were perfect. Jarita Terrell: Our family stayed here for a few weeks while waiting to move into our new home. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Randy at the front desk has been great with tending to our needs and requests. Steve, the maintenance man helped us with fixing the stove and refrigerator when needed.I've always been leery of hotels, but this hotel is clean and very laid back. leigh debor: Charity and Rand were the worst customer service people I have ever met. I work in customer service and have never met people as rude. We showed up in stl desperate, we had driven all night 12+ hours and was going to go to the maryland heights location, they didn't have what we needed. called for your location and they had a room for 2 queen beds reservered the same day. I askeed the lady on the call center line if we could get early check in since we had been traveling all night. The call lady said that we could check in after an hour of calling, which would have put that around 12-1pm. Went into the office and Charity, asst. manager, come to find out. Said we can't check in until 3pm, "that's check in time and she can't make the cleaning people go any faster." I asked for a favor and told her what was said on the phone reservation, which hopefully was recorded on April 1st. So we waited 2 hrs in the car to check in and when we went to check in Rand was there and was super rude "because he was called in on his day off" So my mother of 65 yrs old had to go to the restroom and when asked to go to the restroom, said it wasn't a public bathroom, even though our friend was able to use the restroom 2 hrs prior. He reluctantly made a key card and let her go, but then was very pushy about getting ID's to check in. I was not doing that until my mother came out of the restroom and thankful i did that. Come to find out they booked us in a room that was not ready for check in. I found out because Rand called Charity out of the back room and evidently the new guy put us in a room that wasn't ready. I was not about to wait around again. Especially after the rude service. we were obviously upset about being lied to at first and willing to wait around after all that and then our room was not ready. we had already been up 15 hrs moving and traveling across country. no sympathy and just rude attitudes. After all of that they tried to charge our friends card that was on hold, even though services were not rendered.

It is a drab, dated room, which could be a good deal - but not when they tack on charges. It certainly isn't worth what they will gouge you for.

Clorisia Cooper: This had to be by far the worst, nastiest, unprofessional, and un-safest place I have ever stayed at! My room was so nasty I can still see where the last people laid in the bed, what they ate from the food in the microwave and stove! Spit was all over the bathroom sink and MOLD was ALLL over the shower curtain real bad! I went and told front desk how bad it was only for her to say she couldn't do anything about that! I came in from out of town and was super tired to only have to sleep in my car!!!! Please for your sake avoid this place!
Landon Wilson: Firstly I want to compliment all staff. They were polite and happy to assist us. Moving on to the lodging, To be honest I would avoid if at all possible. It was very dirty in the hallways/stairs. The room was better than the hallways but the furniture had stains on it. Our room had a 1" gap you could see through to the hallway or from the hallway to the room.
Wendy Lee: I have been staying here since the beginning of January and have really enjoyed my stay out had been peaceful, quite, clean and the staff have been amazing they are on top of things anything that has come up which has been maybe two things they have had it resolved in a very quick manner. The staff is on top clean towels and bedding and any other supplies we need they have. I would recommend this place to stay at for everyone and the location is close to everything. THANK GUYS FOR DOING A GREAT JOB!!
Kaila Nichole: It’s not a bad hotel, it’s decently clean and the staff is normally friendly and attentive my issue is the crackheads and the ridiculous noise that’s goes on around there. You won’t have any peace. I realize it’s a hotel but they really should have some restrictions on who can stay crackheads don’t have a real place anywhere in life to begin with. They certainly aren’t entitled to anything.
Madeline: If you value your health, comfort, or safety avoid this place at all costs. I ended up switching hotels because I felt unsafe. The buildings were very dirty, the room was disgusting and smelled like smoke and rotting food, the floor was dirty, the couch had crusty white stains on it, a lock on the door was broken, the staff member at the front desk was rude and skipped past all of the consent forms and just told me to sign, they also didn't tell me how to get to my room (buildings are unlabeled). All night people yelled and banged on the walls. I am sad I paid hard-earned money to be grossed out and feel unsafe.

Looked like dried blood on the ceiling, food on the floor, black fingerprint smudges all over the bathroom, liquid spilled all over the walls that were never cleaned up, the couch was all stained and nasty. This was our second room because the first one had dirty towels and bedding wrapped in a ball on the bed. I have contacted them several times just to discuss what happened and apparently how understaffed they are but nobody will return my calls

Wayne location were gracious enough to offer another room, but that room also had old mouse droppings and roaches crawling around. I still have the pics and video. They promptly apologized and refunded my money without any issues. I said what the heck, I'm going to be in St. Louis for a while and do not want to rent an apartment so I will give Extended Stay another try. The website says the Fenton, Mo Location is a new hotel, but it is an old Residence Inn currently being renovated. I called ahead and requested a newly renovated first floor room. Ashley was gracious enough to say if one was available, she 'd make sure that I'd get one. After driving 4 hours from Indiana, I was ready to lay down. Unfortunately, that did not happen! The young lady at the desk took my information and took a picture of my credit card. Never ever had that happen before. As I am looking at the screen to confirm the info is correct, the attended clicks and passes the screen that contains the hotel policies and goes to the signature page. I asked her to go back because I DO NOT sign anything that I have not read. She stated, "I don't know how"I told her that my card was charged without me signing or reading the policies and If there was someone that she could call that knew how to help her get back to the policy screen. She called someone who she said was a manager. The attendant said that I would have to cancel the reservation and start over. If I did that, I would be charged again and would not receive a refund for 3-5 days. Maybe that was all of the money I had at the time. Well anyway, I again asked her to call a manager that I could speak to. I also asked for a confirmation of the cancellation to make sure that I would not be charged. After asking again for a receipt, that seemed to irritate her even more. By the way I was charged for the night! She handed me Ed Sosas' card and said I could call him. The number on the card is to the hotels front desk! I called guest services and spoke with Alana. As I am trying to resolve the issue with guest services on my phone, the attendant is on her phone discussing the situation at hand in a derogatory and condescending manner. I could hear the person on the other end of the phone say, " Call the police if she doesn't leave the hotel." I told her to CALL THE POLICE and that I was not leaving until they arrived. A few minutes later, the police arrived. The attendant told them her story and I told them mine. As I am speaking with the officers outside, the attendant asked the officers to tell me I was banned from the property. ARE YOU KIDDING! I will lay naked in a ditch before I step foot in that place again. Went back to where I had been staying, the Choice Hotel in Sunset Hills.The fridges are small but the front desk staff are exceptional!Travelers, if you don't mind incompetence and ignorance when you check in, choose Extended Stay Fenton, MO.

Su Do: ***Stay away***My family reserved 3 rooms and received a confirmation via email. We tried to check the evening of our event and the receptionist had no idea what she was doing. She stated our confirmation # didn't exist, we provided supporting emails and the receptionist informed us there's nothing she could do. She was very unprofessional and threatened to call the police on us for asking to speak to the manager.We've learned this place was recently stripped from the Marriot franchise due to poor management (go figure). The receptionist was without a doubt high on drugs. There were people panhandling in the lobby. The parking lot was full of sketchy cars and people. This place was only considered due to proximity to the event. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. This place is the definition of a Roach Motel.

Kai Patrice: I live here for almost two years. What I loved most was the amenities and the high level of security. Of course the building needs some remodeling, and you may even see some bugs, but they do come and spray from time to time. However, its not infested, at least not in the buildings i lived in…but for what it is, it’s a pleasant place to live.

I was leaving to go out of town for a week and I went to their head office and told them no one is allowed in my room everybody should be taken off of my list or whatever that nobody was allowed in and after I left a girl went up to the front counter and said that she was my baby mama and they gave her a key to my room which she stole a lot of my stuff which then I went to the manager and told him about it and he just kind of shrugged his shoulders like oh well. And to top it off when I went to be done with the place I went through with the maintenance guy on cleaning it out and he said it looks great I'll be getting my deposit back which they decided no they were going to go ahead and keep anyways just an all-around horrible place I wish I had the money at the time to get a lawyer and sue them cuz I would have.

Derick Clemons: Very spacious place isn’t bad at all, just a little noisy in some places but very quiet. Has a kitchen. Fridge, living room. Everything you need for peace. 55 inch TV, and fast Wi-Fi. You can do your own laundry, just have to bring your own detergent. But it’s worth it.

On this particular one night stay (5/12/23), I received the COLDEST reception of my entire life from the female night shift front desk clerk. I checked in after midnight due to travel and it was so cold it reminded me of sleeping on the ground with freezing snow/ice packed mountains in Germany, a snow blizzard in Germany, and/or a block of frozen ice. I got a look like I was disturbing her nap time and how dare you. She asked my name , quickly handed me my key (no bottles of water given) with no further instructions or directions (elevator location) so I tried to ask one question could I get a late check out since I arrived so late, and she abruptly answered for me to call the front desk at 12 noon and I got the non-verbal stare she was not answering anymore questions. The only other problem was the water pressure was very low to no water pressure. Otherwise the room smelled very fresh and clean. The day shift front desk clerk was very nice and kind. Please hire a friendlier and/or more professional person for the night shift front desk. Especially when you are charging these kind of rates (higher for this location) for your rooms.Sincerely,Retired Military Officer

Patrick Cherry: This hotel and location could be great however their employees make it not so great. Housekeeping doesn't know how to make a bed. They forgot the top sheet. So my bed had the fitted sheet and then the comforter. Gross! The shower dispensers were all empty. The silverware in the dish washer was dirty. Hot water in kitchen faucet barely came out. Hammer drilling noise going on all day until about 6pm. I let front desk know to give housekeeper another chance and they just made the bed again wrong without the top sheet. Unbelievable. But she did leave a note saying that housekeeper was here and confirmed her incompetence.Rooms: Housekeeper needs to be retrained of how to clean a room, make a beds and refill dispenser or fire them.

Tim Ure: Read reviews after booking. Same experience as many, apologies after the fact but it seems insincere when it's the same apology. Room was a nice layout, ours had a dividing door between the spaces, and the kitchen could have been a benefit if we were there longer. As soon as I walked in I stepped into a wet spot on the carpet, wasn't water, stained my sock orange-brown. Floor under the sink was filthy and neglected. There were cheesy stains on the blanket for the pullout, and no sheets. Front desk resolved the issue but was unapologetic and offered no concern. Shower design looked like painted concrete block and reminded me of a basement shower in a farmhouse for washing animals. Room was right beside the highway and heard it all night. Bds were uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping after being on the road most of the day. Color of the pool was gross. Pool area was grungy, my wife wanted to leave right away but hung in there. Hot tub had dirt clinging to the edges and floating around in the bubbles. Food was mediocre at best. There was not value at $200 a night for this hotel room. Simply there was just nothing special about this hotel, no concern for detail, no pride in the staff or drive to provide the best for the customer. Manage expectations before you stay here
