One80 Entertainment: what do users think?
Chris Piatchek: I just attended their New Years party at the Chase Park Plaza for the third or fourth time and it did not disappoint! Each year is different than the last, and each year keeps getting better and better. I also have been to a couple of their other events such as 12 bars of charity and the Effen tent for Mardi Gras. My first born was conceived on the night after one of their events so these events are near and dear to my heart. After the New Years party, baby #2 may be on the way!!!
Alyssa Sander: One80 definitely knows how to throw a NYE ball! I was blown away by how great everything was, from the venue, to the decor, to the dj and even how quick and easy it was to check in for the event. Thank you all so much, I had an amazing time!
Sylas Stacy: I've attended numerous events by this group over the years and it never disappoints. Always a top notch experience, and this NYE at the Chase was no exception. Our group ordered a table in advance fo the event and, naturally, my girlfriend had 20 questions leading up to NYE night. The communication and responsiveness from one80 team could not have been better. There were a few picky folks in this group, and I have to commend the one80 staff for going above and beyond to accommodate from start to finish. The event itself was incredible. The venue is so fitting for a NYE celebration, the decor adds to the overall ambiance and the DJ was killing it. It felt like we were being hosted by people with experience, and everyone in our group said it was the best NYE to date. I'll definitely be back next year!
Top Flite Financial, Inc.: One80 has 100% mastered the art of throwing a great party. NYE at the Chase was a great event from top to bottom. The DJ with the sax combo was insane and the energy in the room was contagious. We will not miss another NYE at the Chase. Congrats to One80 for being the gold standard for high level events in STL. There is not even a close second.
Kyle Pickett: Went to NYE at the Chase. What a great night. My date and I had an absolute blast. No other experience in STL like it. I felt like I was in a high class party that was something like you could only experience in Vegas or a different major city. The ambiance and DJ were incredible. Had great service and good drinks. I will be attending next year as well, you can count on that. Thank you One80 for a night to remember!
connor scarbrough: One80 Entertainment took great care of us NYE 2020
Amy Howard: Great company! Very professional and organized!!
Stephanie Baker: Attended numerous events by this group and each is a money pit disaster. They notoriously over charge for tickets and understaff and overcrowd the events. If you have other options do not attend these events.
Matt Daniel: Just awful and rude! They don’t care about anything except how much money they can make off people! Be careful if going to an event somewhere that is held by this company!

Barbizon Model and Talent Agency of St. Louis: what do users think?
yfranklin: I love the atmosphere there! My daughter has been with Barbizon for years. Her most recent gig was modeling for a playground equipment company. Monica and the instructors work hard to help the students grow and shine!
Hayden Steinkuehler: Learned a lot through the schooling, and I am a better/more confident person now. Recommend!!!
terri grillo: I have been with Barbizon since the early 90's and have learned invaluable skills needed for the talent industry as well as other areas in my life. Also, have had so much fun with the modeling and acting jobs I have gotten through the agency!
Amy Dawson: Barbizon St. Louis is a magical place. I was just 16 when I found this place. I was shy and not doing good with confidence or finding friends. Barbizon was able to bust me out of my shell and become who I was meant to be. I was able to do several shows and events with them! Each gave me more and more confidence. I even moved to California to pursue my new found love for acting and improv. I joined the San Francisco improv community and Graduated from academy of art university with a major in theatre arts. I would have never started the route I did without the teachings of the amazing instructors. The classes are curated to make sure they are up to the times with the trends. They teach you whatever you need to learn to successful in the industry. They truly help you every step of the way!I highly recommend this Barbizon and the amazing teachers ready to see you succeed!
Nikki Nicole: Barbizon has been a wonderful experience! I've been with Barbizon since 2003. Barbizon has an in-depth curriculum that gives you all the tools and resources necessary to market yourself in any industry. From modeling to acting and personal development, you can grow and fine tune your talents with Barbizon. I have had once in a lifetime experiences through Barbizon and I'm greatful for the teachers who taught and encouraged me. You get out of life what you put into it, your success is up to you! What does success mean to you and are you willing to put in the work? I highly recommend BarbizonSTL for people who are serious and willing to do the homework, practice, apply the knowledge and go for the opportunities! Life is not a sprint it's a marathon, go and get running!
Marcia Humphreys: I loved my experience there! It taught many skills that I would have taken years to learn on my own. I went in clueless about what it was like being a model or actor, but I learned that the real work is intense and not glamorous at all. So much goes on behind the scenes and this program helped me to appreciate the personal sacrifice that goes into this industry. If you are looking into getting into the industry, the teachers here are on your side and will guide you, but it is up to you to make your dreams happen! Nothing worth working for happens without effort. Best of luck to my fellow classmates, my Barbizon seniors, and those who are considering joining our big family!
Areaj Mubarak: A serious and reputable talent agency would not push clients to develop their skills through their classes. This is a warning that they receive most of their income from leading vulnerable actors/models into their classes rather than booking them jobs. If you are serious about advancing your career in the industry, this would not be the most progressive option for yourself. To respond, if what is claimed was the case, the company should have no issue whatsoever sharing a list of recommended courses, photographers, etc. However, there was seemingly an issue when asked.
Raven: I honestly didn’t know this place was still open. I attended their classes when I was in middle school around 7th grade (12-13 years old). I had a great experience. I learned the dos and donts when it comes to runway modeling. We learned about makeup and styling our hair, how to walk and much more. We had booklets and homework to do every week. We closed our classes with a runway modeling show. I gained many skills from this class that I still use and I am now 26 years old. I dress really nice and I am noticed everywhere I go. I do not currently model because of my choice to focus on more of an academic career but if I wanted to change focus I’m pretty sure I could. This is a review for almost 10 years ago if they are the same I would definitely recommend this School to younger aspiring models.
Илья Сафарчев: I was very disappointed with this experience. They don’t deserve even one star. After the audition, they and their forms make you feel like you’re going to have an actual modeling experience with high fashion, nice outfits picked individually for you. My son used to attend this school. As one reviewer mentioned before, everything there is stuck in the 70’s. The building is very old. The instructors are very unprofessional and rude. They don’t even have tables or desks for students to take notes. My son told me they had to take notes leaning on their knees. His back hurt so bad. And then they would talk about the posture. They don’t offer any high fashion make up classes. Even more, they use very old make up products. Their foundation wouldn’t match anyone’s skin color. When I saw my son after the first make up session, I was shocked. His skin was so yellow. He said the foundation was very old, yellow and dry. They didn’t even teach him how to use that. And they tell our kids that it’s important to use nice make up and take a good care of their skin! That’s not what I paid my money for. Acting classes were taking place in the room they nicely call “boutique.” It’s a very dirty, dusty room, which has so much of old stuff in it. My son has bad allergies, and when he told the instructor about that, she just ignored that. Very unprofessional. What’s more, they don’t manage their time. Very often there were more auditions at the same time as the class was going. The instructor told current students that they had to stay quiet. What kind of classes is that? I am against body shaming and everything, but during their classes about nutrition and diet the overweight instructor would tell them how important it is to stay in shape. Also, they are very rude to people with black skin. My son told me that he could feel like the instructor would treat his black classmate differently. I want all the students to feel equal.Lastly, I’ve been trying to comment something on their Instagram page, but they have been deleting my comments every time, which shows their unprofessional behavior. Waste of money.
Tyler Deandre: Critical:Professionalism,ValueVery prejudice towards black folk.
Ghiska Ramahdita: The owner, Monica, is warm-hearted one, she manages her best for your success in modelling and any casting or talent scouting.
Sad'e Adams: Beautiful imdustry great service and high fashion !❤️
Nicole Fiedler: I have been with Barbizon for 10+ years and have expanded my skills and life experiences. Great agency, I recommend highly.
angie laskach: Great place to learn!
Leah S: If you're new to the modeling world it's a place to start. They did give me basic info about modeling-make up tricks, how to walk down the runway and even did a show with all the models at the end but after I went to the school, nothing came of it. No other opportunities came from attending the "school for modeling." Me and my mom spend thousands of dollars and it is not worth it. Same for John Robert Powers. That was over 10 years ago and it may have changed since then but if you want to know more about modeling, acting, etc. get headshots done by someone who knows what they are doing start getting involved ex. participating in local fashion shows, build a resume and go from there.
Catherine Stark-Straubinger: I've been with Barbizon for years and have had nothing but an amazing experience. The staff is always helpful and when you're with the agency you feel like it's family. I would highly recommend anymore looking to get started in modeling or acting to try Barbizon.
Allie Reece: My Barbizon experience was amazing! I am currently modeling through Barbizon and I have learned a lot. I have gotten many jobs on a consistent basis, one paying $500/day. Barbizon gives you the tools you need, but you have to put in the work as well. Monica is absolutely amazing and very helpful!
Amari Smyth: Ms.Monica from barbizon was really nice
Anna Tatum: Waste of money. Ripoff.
Julia P.: gave me I thought this was going to be an actual modeling experience. When I went there this past year the building and the workers were all still stuck in the 70's. Nothing had been updated in years. The makeup, the decorations, and utilities were all so old. The foundation they expected us to use was over 10 years old. How do I know that? The worker even told me. It was all crusty and orange and didn't match anybody's skin tone. Plus, we didn't even do hardcore model makeup which we are supposed to do. You go in the room and the lady says "Just do your makeup." So I basically paid lots of money to do my everyday, normal makeup without learning anything. Whenever we would do the runway the workers wouldnt even pay attention to see if we were walking correctly. They would just wander off and go talk to people. Don't waste your money. Everything you "learn" here you could easily look up on Google. (I would know that because I looked up all of the stuff I learned there on Google and I actually learned more from Google...for free.
Sanchez Sanchez: Very nice as always
