Maplewood DMV License Office: what do users think?
Scott Combs: Uneducated staff in what paperwork is actually needed to license a leased vehicle. Unfortunate.
scooter inc: The black lady with the short black /terra Cota hair color that does the driver license renewal is rude and disrespectful, could use in-service on public relations and customer service
Mark Lo: Qless made it simple.
QI LI: I believe Maplewood Dmv was the most professional place for processing driver license in St. Louis. This week I drove my friends to Maplewood Dmv twice for renewing their driver license. On Monday, they help one of my friend to renew her driver license efficiently. Today I brought my roommate who has similar situation with my friend to here for No real ID driver license renewal. But the lady who in charge of my roommate's driver license renewal today was extremely rude and sarcastic. They refused to help my friend renew her license and demanded us to contact the Jefferson public line ourselves. And then I brought my roommate to south Kingshighway license office, the lady there only took 10mins for finishing her driver license renewal after knowing our situation.
Jim G: Expect a line.
Melissa Anson: Every government office needs to use this location as a benchmark to being efficient. I live closer to other offices, but still come here.UPDATE: Unfortunately I need to update this review from 5 stars to 2-3 stars. I had the black lady with short hair and black rimmed glasses. I've never had to change my name on my license before, so I read every line of the MO Driver's License website so I was clear on what I needed. The worst is waiting in line and being told you don't have everything you need. This is exactly what happened to me today. I told her what was online and even pulled up the site. Instead of being understanding of the miscommunication, she was extremely short, on edge and dismissive of me. It also seems like he attitude was a complete waste of time because she still issued me a new driver's license. What a shame. I'm not going out of my way to be treated poorly ever again.
Wesley Hastings: Waited 2 hours yesterday for a license renewal, had to leave due to work. Waited 2 hours again today and when I finally got called the woman was the rudest person I've ever interacted with at a business. Responded extremely rudely when I asked how long a Real ID was valid for, then raised her voice at me when I politely tried to ask a question about qualifying mail for the Real ID, told me to "stop being hostile, Jesus..." 0/10 worst experience possible. Find a different DMV in the area, trust me.
julia otto: Best DMV office around. Sharon was kind, professional and said it best - Staff there is a team and works together well.
Daniel Breihan: QLess times and position in queue are not accurate.
Madeline O'Connor: Sharon was very helpful in assisting me with my driver’s license. She was competent, quick, and friendly!
Dan Knerr: Sharon was very helpful and professional!
Zach Dygard: Sharon was very helpful and super fast. I actually enjoyed my my experience.
João Dimas: The lady who was processing my driver’s license application was extremely rude and sarcastic. I can give more information to management if you reach out to me.
William Miller: Used to be good now it's terrible.I am a lifetime St. Louisan and this place has become a living nightmare. You used to be able to go get plates easy peasy. Now it seems like they literally don't want you to liscence a car. Why? Don't know. I tried 4 times with the correct paper work, forms, and TIME OFF FROM WORK to get my car registered for my business but nope. I've wasted hours of my life with these people and I will never be back here. What a joke.
Matthew Evans: Line was very long coming in but it moved quickly. The manager and her trainee were very pleasant and had me smiling the whole time. Made that long line worth it.
Sani M.: Nicest DMV office I've ever been to. Very helpful personnel. Sharon and Emily went an extra step to help. They were both amazing.
Alex Monroe: This is the perfect DMV. They use a mobile app for queueing, so you can walk in minutes before your turn. Brilliant.
Lorraine Frazier: It can get really busy, but the people are friendly, and you can sign-in, leave, and get a text when it's your turn.
Jacqueline Montgomery: This is the best DMV I’ve been to in STL. Every time I’ve been here, it’s always been a positive experience. Every employee here seems to be very friendly, efficient and helpful. Most recently, I’d renewed my tags online (just a couple of days before my plates were due to expire). Almost immediately, I’d received a text message from Lauren at the Maplewood DMV asking if I’d like to pick them up instead of having them mailed. I was pretty shocked to receive such personalized service. I texted her back letting her know I’d be there right at closing time. Lauren was actually waiting at the door for me when I came by to pick them up. This place is the best and Lauren is the greatest❣️
Onur Sarikas: Sharon was able to renew my license very quickly and held my line in place as I had to go home and grab more documents.
barbara prosser: Minimal wait. Easy and efficient registration when I came into office. Friendly and competent staff. Good experience.

Savedrivers Services Driving School of St. Louis: what do users think?
Whitney Moore (Peaches&Curls): My daughter passed her exam with 90% after 4 lessons with SaveDrivers. I highly recommend Coach Williams & his team if you are looking for drivers education & driving lessons. He & his team did an exceptional job teaching my daughter the rules of the road & how to properly operate a vehicle. One thing that really stood out to me was the book references when correcting her & the speed limit advice to stay between 5-10 miles below the limit and not at the limit. It's so important to instill these habits at an early age. I was so worried about the thought of my child being on the road with others who do not share the same sentiments. But, I can say I am definitely relieved knowing SaveDrivers have prepared my daughter to not only drive safe for herself, but to drive safe for everyone else on the road. I am thoroughly pleased!! Thank you Coach Williams!
n ram: Thanks to Coach Williams for all help and arranging driving teacher for my road test with short notice.Coach Gary is professional and friendly, has really made me comfortable to understand the things easy. Thanks to Savedrivers.
Milon Murphy: JUST DO IT! If you're someone who's been putting off getting your license for any reason please do yourself a favor and book with this company. I've put off getting my license for almost 10 years (M25) because of high anxiety and a lack of confidence. Not only did every single coach take time to explain detail of driving but they make you feel comfortable and confident. Three classes was all it took for me to pass and the price for each class is reasonable for how high quality the lessons are. Shout out to Coach Williams and Coach Ken!
Nicholas Rao: I put off getting my license, since I grew up in heavily pedestrian cities, so I was a bit of an old student (27). When I first booked a lesson with Coach Williams, the prospect of finally getting a license was daunting. But he and the small community of staff who coached me were incredibly professional, personable, and reassuring. They not only prepared me efficiently and perfectly for the test; they encouraged me to trust my intuition, so I knew exactly when I was ready and didn't procrastinate. They set up the road test for me and gave me plenty of time to practice the day of (which helped settle my nerves). Safedrivers was not my first driver's ed experience, but it was by far the best. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thumbs up!
J Z: Professional instructors (Gary & Ken) and helpful lessons! Passed my drivers exam with a perfect score after taking three lessons, and that’s after failing twice before booking appointments with Safedrivers! For beginners, I recommend at least 2-4 lessons and intermediate, start with 1. Really ask questions about everything regarding tips on the driving test and what you need to work on because they are more than happy to help you. Don’t be afraid to tell the instructors what skills you need to build on so they can help you improve them. You don’t need to take many lessons since they mostly teach you the same skills, but you do need to absorb what the instructors tell you and consistently work on them after each lessons.Overall, I am satisfied with the service. However, I hope the price doesn’t rise too much further down the line so everyone can prepare for the drivers exam at an affordable price.
Hola Amigos: It’s a great training class for driving. He made me learn driving at the age of 38 yrs. I was always apprehensive of fast driving n he worked on me patiently n made me pass the driving exam. Thank you for the great lessons
Nicole Jones: Best Driving school out here! Ronnie worked hard with me and didnt give up on me! I hd a really bad car accident and was scarred for life but coming here changed that. I no longer have anxiety when it comes to driving and I am so thankful for ronnie and his team! I now have my license and can live my life without waiting on others to do for me! Amazing drivers school! My daughter will be going here when its time for her to drive and shes 3 !!!!!
Venkat K: I registered for 3 classes (each class is 2hours in seat) on Oct 31st, Nov 1st amd Nov 2nd. Williams picked me from my home and went to Hazzlewood area (nearest dmv from my home) there I drove the car for 2hrs and he gave tips and instructions. On the second day, we went to Hazzlewood again and did parallel parking and standard driving instructions for first 1hour and later I gave driving exam with the same car. I did very well and passed the test on my second class. Literally I took only 3hrs of practice and gave exam on 4th hour (2nd class). He has instructor base voice so you feel like real examiner training you. And I got refund for the 3rd class (Nov3rd). William is truly professional and not want to waste your money. Based on your driving he will tell you how many sessions would require.
L Smith: Got my license in just a couple of weeks. Great teacher!
L: Zero stars if I could. My driving instructor, Ms. Nicole Johnson was extremely rude, impatient, and even physically aggressive. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I can’t speak for any other instructor(s), but I imagine they’re just as bad if they’re allowing people like her to teach. All I gained from this experience was stress, and increased drivers anxiety. Any mistake I made resulted in her yelling or thrashing out on me. Not a friendly or comfortable atmosphere in the slightest. The car itself was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Waste of my money and time.
Coco R: Negative stars if I could. Mr. Williams the driving instructor asked me if I was single.I should have reported him for harassment. The car was filled with garbage and he made me stop at Q-Tip so he could go to the bathroom. I paid for two hours but only have about an hour and 15 minutes of driving time.As a woman you aren’t safe. Mr. Williams was yelling at me throughout the drive so that he could “prepare me” for life on the road.Creep!
Leah Williams: Honestly I feel I wasted money for the first two classes I purchased and I believe that was with Rico or Mr. Williams, he was judging my driving leaving negative comments, and he pretty much was on his phone the entire time and made me pull over to watch YouTube videos about driving. I would’ve gave it five stars if I could’ve had Mr. Fred for all of my lessons he really has a lot of patience and is good at teaching what you need to know as they do prepare you to learn the route of the road test. I really recommend to request Mr. Fred as your driving instructor as he will make sure that your actually understanding how to properly turn the wheel and other things needed to know for driving, he did end up telling me that I only needed one more lesson of driving and then to book one for my test, unfortunately I didn’t complete with the school as I have been driving my grandfather’s car to practice in, and I will be taking the test this upcoming Monday or Tuesday. No one keeps up with the progress of your driving you pretty much have to remember what you learned and inform your instructor if you end up with a different one about what you learned with the previous instructor. I just didn’t want to waste anymore money YouTube videos were free and I learned all I needed to know and I feel extremely confident when driving now.
Kamika D: The best driving school and all the instructors are professional and bubbly. Thank you for all the help.
Zhihao Yuan: I spent about $600 to learn driving with them in 2020, and decided not to proceed. Here is my experience:1. I'm assigned different coach every lesson; nobody keep track of your progress.2. I'm assigned, very, different cars every lesson. I had to get familiar with them every lesson. What is muscle memory?3. One of the car is in bad condition and unbalanced sensitive between accelerator and break. After being assigned this car 2nd times, I complained to a coach who runs this location. He laughed at me and claimed that's my problem. At this point I decided to leave.
Hao Nguyen: Great teachers and wonderful service. It took me approximately 10 hours (have known literally nothing about driving before ; without any practice after behind-wheel training hours with them) to pass the test. They supported me to get the road test on time and I highly recommend you guys to use their services if you are looking for a reliable driving school.
Chelsea R: I would not recommend. As soon as my lessons started my instructor took a phone call. He then says into the phone, “let me go because I’m teaching a lesson and she’s acting like she doesn’t know how to drive.” Like????Also, the instructor made me uncomfortable. He asked me personal questions like, did I go to college, what was my degree in, my RELATIONSHIP STATUS, etc.I do need more directing practice but will go with another company for future lessons. You do get to practice driving over the city and the instructor gave me some helpful tips regarding hand positioning.I also paid fort a two hour lesson but when my driving picked me up he said it was only for an hour and a half.
DonNisha Crawford: I been working with the coaches at Save Drivers and after my 4th class today I passed my test. Coach Williams & Coach Rush was a lot of help & they make sure your comfortable while on the rode . I’m thankful for both of them. I highly recommend this company.
DeMarcus Flowers: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueCoach Williams was incredibly cool and helpful. He instilled confidence in me like never before and he is the reason I have my drivers license today. Highly recommend. He gets you results!
Violina Beavers: They are so professional! & I appreciate them so much! Thank you Mr Williams for the first 2 sessions I had with you. & I appreciate Mr Ruben so much too. For teaching me all the days that I needed. & helping me pass my driving test today! I had the worst anxiety about driving after a car accident that had me not waking for a whole month. & being away from my family. & the last person I asked to teach me so I can feel comfortable to drive here in Mainland discouraged me. My anxiety really made that person scared to have me driving or teaching me how to drive. But this driving school is the best. & I appreciate them so much for helping me get over my anxiety & helping me pass my driving test today. First driving test & I passed it.
Skyline Cromwell: Mr. Rubin and Mr. Williams I'm really made my day it made driving worthwhile worthwhile for me. I made some mistakes along the way and and on the test, but all went well and I ended up passing because of them. Thanks you guys for teaching me and pushing me to pass!!!!
Melody Post: At first I was a bit iffy because I felt that the rates are high but I decided to check it out anyway. I booked 2 days and by the second, I had my license! Although I had prior experience driving, he (Coach Williams) corrected my turns, the way I use my blinkers and my parking. He was extremely professional and made me comfortable. After the first day, him and his trainee felt that i was ready to take my test. Thats when I learn that the rates are incredible, its amazing training. The second day, I get a call from the coach letting me know that he's outside, absolutely filled with energy. After about 30 to 40 minutes of practice, we go to the testing site and there I take the test. I was a bit nervous because I did fail twice (this was before receiving the training). I passed with a 94! I couldn't be more happier and satisfied with the services. I 1000% recommend.

St Louis License Office: what do users think?
Mark Johnson: Fast service, not long waits, people are usually friendly. Office is closing May 18th.
Davina Woods: It was short and to the point.
Janell Irving: The workers were very attentive.
travis spain: I NEVER leave reviews but someone please tell me what is the point of having FIVE windows and you only use TWO. The line was running out the door and they did not have enough seats Highly recommend going to another faster one
Melvin Hogan: If your renewing it's in and out ...😁
Eugene Douglas: Horrible DMV. They do everything in thier power to keep you from obtaining your CDL permit. Worst DMV I've ever been to by far.
Tracy drain: Very helpful staff.
Brenda R Mcpherson: The lady that waited on us was prompt very courteous and very helpful wish I had have gotten her name!
JD Pearson: I mean they’re doing the best they can but Missouri is highway robbery charging all this for registration for a car this too much
Shelonda: Very rude and extra slow. The same employees working here for decades, you would think they were pros and move a little faster. They just opened at 10 and this man already going on break. So why has he been in plain view for the last 10 minutes just standing around. They standing around talking amongst themselves instead of talking to customers. They act like we bothering them. When will they find new help? This staff is the worst and have been for years.
Mark Rinehart: I was in and out in minutes. Fastest DMV I have been in.
Remington Jackson: It was an ok experience for the DMV.
Alex Sun: The staff inside are very arrogant and always feel that the customers are inferior. And it is very unreasonable to advise all those who need to apply for plates to go to another dmv.
Jason L: Got through to a live person quickly and obtained my answer just as fast and very professionally. Super helpful, will call here from now on instead of my local license office (Kingshighway doesn't like to pick up the phone)
Merlin Swinton: Their eye test equipment DID NOT work very well!!!! Employee told me I need to fill out a form, do the eye test at highway patrol, and give her back next day!!! So, what’s wrong with you DMV staff?
Curt Balding: Had to get replacement tags for my Jeep. The staff member named A woman named Nela was very helpful. She told me that since my tags were stolen that the new tags would only cost $8. The police won't even make a report for just stolen tags.
Charles Dary: WORKERS WERE VERY HELPFUL AND SPEEDY. ALL AOK
Joseph Licavoli: Very good
Shannon Wax: Easy to find and nice office.
Alexis Price: Why do I have to go in a quene and the office is supposedly open. I just had a simple question.
Muriel Akins: It's crazy unorganized people everywhere sitting in the halls waiting social distancing in in effect so that's good
