My family and I used her services for my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride and mother of the groom dress alterations. For my wedding dress she not only completed alterations, but added a bustle and attached a glitter belt. The dress truly felt custom to me and the alterations were absolutely perfect the first time I went in for a fitting. The attachment of the belt was perfect and it looked like it was made for the dress. Irina and her team helped save the day when we discovered a large dirt stain on my dress a day before the wedding! We called Irina hoping for advice on how we could get it out, but instead she said to bring it in and she would see what could be done! She kept in constant contact with my mother and managed to get the stain completely out and were were able to get the dress just a few hours later! I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and help. When my mother told me Irina was going to try to get the stain out I felt so calm because I knew if anyone could do it it would be Irina. Lulu Sheremeta: Irina is the best person to handle an expensive, detailed, designer gown. My dress needed a bustle, hemming, sleeve adjustments and some custom work over the bodice. It requires very detailed and delicate work because is was glittery, beaded, and sequined. The end product looked incredible and professional. My favorite was the bustle. It made the back of my gown flow beautifully and looked even more magical when I was dancing. I received so many compliments from guests, wedding vendors, and my family still continues to talk about how it was one of the most exquisite wedding gowns they’ve ever seen. The shop tended to be very busy, so I would recommend that any bride allow at minimum 2 months for alterations, but more time would be better.

Kayla Zebrowski: I had difficulties getting a pouch for my insulin pump. I came in 3 different times and asked for a pouch to be sown in between the bra cups with a clasp so it does not fall out. The first time there was just a loop above the breast area to clip the pump which resulted in a bulge on top of my chest. The second time there was just a pouch with a safety pin, so they attached it in one spot but so low that it hung to my belly button. I asked to speak to the manager, and they sent the person who did the alterations who yelled at me. The third time the top of the dress was altered and the dress closure clasp removed and still no clasp to close the pouch. I was excited to find the dress for under $300 but alterations were $130. Dana Comer: When I ordered my dress and picked it up it fit just right, however over a little time gained a little weight thankfully Yelena has done magic work and you’d never know she added extra material in the sides and got the exact same material it looks like it was made for me, she added cups because who wants to wear a bra on their wedding day 😂. She also added my simple bustle. Aside from normal wedding dress adds she also added sentimental pieces to my dress, my belt, the navy blue material being the waistband from my grandpas navy uniform in which still can be read with his name, then we added the Pearl belt on top. She also added to the top of my dress Pearl beads from my moms dress, I always wanted to use part of my moms dress and since her lace was too discolored this actually worked absolutely perfectly and added the perfect touch to my dress I could not be more thankful for Yelena for making my perfect dress even more perfectService:Wedding gown alterations

Ben L: Yelena is an absolute gem. After other experiences with tailoring with Men's Wearhouse for many reasons, Yelena fixed up my suitpants knowing exactly what I needed. She charged me what it would cost for her time and although I'm just a college student and may be inclined for higher value deals, she did miracles and my suit is as good as it could have been and will last me indefinitely and is modern but not quite tight. Lexi Smith: I had a dress hemmed here about a year ago and it was a horrible experience. First of all, she told me to come back a week later and even handed me a slip of paper that said when the dress would be ready and when I came back she looked at me like I was crazy… She said the dress wouldn’t be ready for another week. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but when I came back a week later I still had to wait about an hour and then my dress was hemmed entirely too short. For the record I had brought the shoes that I had planned to wear with the dress to the initial try on and the same shoes back when I tried on the final product. The lining also stuck out from under the dress like it had not been hemmed along with the outer layer. I took my dress, paid entirely too much for bad work in my opinion, and ran… I did not wanna spend anymore time in her store.

I made preferences on the length of the dress very clear and when I came to pick up the dress it was shorter than I asked for AND had a STAIN on it that I know was not there before. The lady stated that she has no idea how the stain could get there as she was eating a bag of chips while doing alterations and touching my dress. She did not adjust the price for these errors.
