World's Fair Donuts: what do users think?
Josh Halbert: Amazing donuts and staff!
Ms Buchanan: The gentleman was very nice and even gave me a doughnut to take with me to try. However, these doughnuts were dry and borderline stale. Not a fan at all. Sadly, I will not be returning.
Beth Vriesman: The chocolate on the donuts was very good, however, plain and glazed donuts lacked any sort of flavor. Wouldn’t recommend plain or glazed but others were good.
Amy C.: Not what it was. Donuts seemed to be a day old and a dollar short. Only not a dollar short, more expensive. Just disappointing all around.
Austin Patton: Their hours on Google and the hours listed on their storefront are listed as opening at 6 am on Tuesdays. I went at 6:35 am today and the door was locked with nobody at the counter.Don’t waste your time driving here without calling to make sure they’re open first as it appears they don’t adhere to their own scheduled hours.
Johnson Lancaster: One of the best cake donuts in the city.
Peg Kuehler: The employee was so fun and service was great but the doughnuts are not as good as they used to be. The glazed was not sweet and heavy. The fritter was also not sweet. They tasted more like bread. Very disappointed.
Emmarose Neibert: Kind staff, beautiful neighborhood, great coffee, AMAZING donuts
Karen Taylor: Wow. Pulled up guy comes walking towards car. I was waving him away, continued on. Finally let down the window, he states his name, says he works there, he didn't want anything. He wanted me to know they were closing now at 10:46 am, sign says 2pm. He said they had a big order. He states his name again and says he doesn't need to ask for anything. First of all you don't just walk up on people.Secondly, I probably didn't need thedonuts anyway.
Brit Mosley: Honestly these donuts were just ok. The gentleman working was super nice and this is a classic donut shop.
Greg Johnson: 1 star since I didn't get to purchase anything with my debt card. Cashapp only or Cash. They should pay me for wasting my time getting off the interstate.
Sean Lansdown: Great donuts!!
Charlie M: A St Louis tradition. Never disappoints. Fascinating people behind the counter.
Andreas Apostolopoulos: A donut shop right out of the history books! Love how they keep it simple and no frills, and of course their classic dough-donuts hit the spot!
Jim Zavist: A St Louis classic!
Robert Clendenny: Great donuts! Good coffee!
Vince Spragg: Excellent donuts!
Danny Hunziker: Staff is always nice and polite always a goodExperience
Judy Walter: Visited yesterday, a Sunday--open, and serving the best donuts, with a friendly smile. ❤️
Capt. Gray Beard: This place is one of the finest donut shops I've ever been to in so long I can't even remember. It's a mom and pop place, and the mom and pop are just down to earth really really good people. I didn't try the coffee although I should have but I got more donuts and I can eat in a week and I only did it because I probably won't get back up in this area for a long time. But if you're in the area you really got to stop and try this place out!
Mike: I walked in there and met the owner, probably one of the finest young man I've ever had the honor to me. The donuts are by 5:00 some of the best donuts I've ever eaten lots of lots of toppings and lots of creamy fillings and the donuts couldn't be more fresh. Definitely worth the stop.

Pharaohs Donuts: what do users think?
Michelle Farah: Thank you for your kindness. I popped in for a treat and had to wait a little bit. When I went to pay, the lady thanked me for my patience and said it was on the house. I wanted to tip but I didn’t have cash so I’m leaving a note here to thank them. I got outside and bit into the most delicious doughnut!! Lovely people, amazing doughnuts.
Bruce Nome: Great donuts brought doing it twice from this establishment doing a training course in the downtown St Louis area for the past 2 weeks
naturalgal 5: Went a distance early in the morning for my friends and family to have these doughnuts, and they all wanted to know where they were from to get more.
Andrew Haight: Unbelievable. They’re easily the best donut I’ve ever tried. And we have some tough competition in Michigan (Sweetwater’s Kalamazoo). But alas, this donut walks away with the title. It’s amazing. The staff is super friendly also. Thank you!
Candi Sharie Norm: Great donuts awesomely friendly staff
Tasha Johnson: I must say that although the donuts are good, I have not had the greatest experience with them. Every time I order, I never get what I requested. I'm not able to go into the establishment, so I have to order online. When I called to let them know that I didn't get what I ordered, I was told that if they don't have what i want by the time they get to my order, I get what's left and that could be anything. I've told them that it would be nice to get a courtesy call or something to let me know so I can at least get something I may like. The response was, "we're just a donut shop, it's not like a real restaurant." I couldn't say anything.I just held the phone. 3 times is enough to just throw in the towel. I hope no one else experiences this!5/23/23- The owner reached out to me a while ago, but i couldn't find the review. I truly appreciate it. I've been in there a few times since then. That's just how good the donuts are. But I will take you up on your offer real soon. Thank you so much!
Ronnika Williams: A previous visit to St. Louis my driver suggested checking out this donut place. Walked the couple blocks from my hotel on a Friday morning around 8 am. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and purchased a couple of glaze donuts. LISTEN to me…I would’ve walked miles for these donuts. Sooooooo frickin good. 🤤🍩
Telula Damron: I hate donuts but this place is the only place i have eaten a donut at and finished the whole thing! would recommend if you are not really a donut lover. they are just sweet enough and they dont leave a gross after taste in your mouth.
Jewel Scroggins: Always a welcoming smile
Bernard Allen: Doughnuts are delicious but I was quickly reminded why I haven’t dealt with them in 4 or so years. They treat the customer, or at least this customer, as an inconvenience.
Jasen Smith: Awesome Donuts
Adam O: My kid found this place when we stopped in STL for a few hours. Pastries were on point.
Paul Blake: Good donuts We are glad we stopped in on our way home.
Kim Summers: I will not be going back, staff was rude and unprofessional. I will stay faithful to old town donuts.
Marisa Summers: Rude and unprofessional!!!!! Will not come back here. Not welcoming at all.
Jasmine Williams: Did not have a great experience at all. My donuts were dry and made improperly. The staff was not welcoming and very dismissive
cleo spencer: The donuts melts in your mouth..... simply devine.....
Chris Green: Wonderful donuts with wonderful staff! I can’t thank this place and the manager Jaz enough for helping me place a last minute order for 50+ donuts and making sure everything was perfect. They were so nice, the donuts were delicious. All the kids loved them!
Ciara Kelley: These donuts are amazing and the customer service is excellent!
Taylor King: Best donuts in the city
Chris Berryhill: She was rude and rushing me I will not be back again ,

Emalee Donaldson: First time in and I was pleasantly surprised! Delicious donuts and such excellent customer service!! Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
Francis Vonder Haar: 56 years in business as of 2023! My family used to get donuts here when I was a kid. Now I take my kids here. We passed 7 other donut shops to come here. It was, and still is, an incredible donut shop with super friendly and appreciative owners!

Brandon Singleton: Some of the best donuts I've ever had. Real old school vibes here.
Currier55: Took down the wrong day for my daughters birthday and ask me “can we make it for tomorrow?” Yeah let me just change her birthday…. Get competent staff! Will never return to this little shack of a building. Don’t rely on this place for anything!
M. S.: Old School Delicious. Blueberry cake and old fashioned sour cream were melt in your mouth perfection.

Lucas Yochum: I've been eating donuts here since the early 90s. Arguably one of the best donut places in the State.
KING OFSTADIA: Just awesome!!!!
Billy Young: Fresh donuts and good service 😊

Les: Best glazed donuts in St. Louis
Robert Cardoni: There’s some new donut shops in town - but these OG donuts are the best in town. The Apple fritter is not to be skipped

Vincent Van Doughnut: what do users think?
Ms Buchanan: Close at 2pm but only have bacon glazed doughnuts @ 11am!
Aimee Tuohey: So so good! Chocolate chip cookie dough is the best if you love that kinda thing and yeast donuts. Super super helpful and friendly.
Deanna South: Stellar donuts! The staff was amazing about explaining the types and flavors. We tried the Maple Bacon, Lemon Lavender, Samoa, and Cookie Dough. All were amazing but the Lemon Lavender was my favorite
Ralph Lauren: Favorite doughnut shop always have something new I love the huge doughnuts customer service is great also.
Correy Hunt: A staple of donuts and the service is exceptional
Kathy Carson: I need to start by saying I hate doughnuts. Having said that, I went to Vincent Van Doughnut three times in 11 days. Some of the donuts are still a little too sugary for me, but I have to say the fillings are amazing. And I cannot say enough about the Bavarian Cream Doughnut. IMHO the Bavarian Cream at Vincent Van Doughnut is the best donut I have ever eaten in my life. It is the Holy Grail of Doughnuts! A perfect balance between sweet and creamy packaged in an airy yeast doughnut shell. If you're in St. Louis, stop by Vincent Van Doughnut, you won't regret it!
Amy Denker: We discovered this gem this morning during our quick weekend trip to St. Louis. The location is great, atmosphere is awesome, the staff is friendly and kind, and the doughnuts are out of this world delicious! Highly recommend!! We will absolutely be back the next time we are in STL!
The Holtzys: Just amazing, can't get enough.
Scott Miller: Absolutely the best donuts, second to none!
jordan yancey: Thank you!
Chris Higgs: Good doughnuts. Got to meet Mr. Van Doughnut himself.
Steven Gravatte: Tasty donuts, reasonable prices, and very friendly!
Andreas Apostolopoulos: These donuts were the bomb! Cake donuts, yeast raised donuts, they're all good! These aren't wimpy donuts and will satisfy you!👌
Joe Arozarena: Small, local bakery with large, fancy donuts, coffee and some other breakfast pastry.
MG: Lovely place for coffee and doughnuts. I would suggest y’ll to go in the morning cause it gets sold out pretty fast until evening. The staffs are always welcoming and friendly as well 🏻.
jennifer manolis: The French toast donut was delicious
Curtis Boulware: Loved the coffee and donuts and the staff was so awesome.
Malena Reyes: The atmosphere here was calm and relaxed and I felt at home right when I walked into the door! Only thing that kept me from a 5 star was the cake donuts did seem a little dry but the lemon lavender yeast donut was a stellar option.
Melissa Nicole: Doughnut selection is amazing and they are delicious! My favorite was the french toast doughnut!
Brad Nauman: Very friendly crew here.If Sweet and sugar is what you’re after this is your spot. Dessert for breakfast.
kristin meyer: They have GF donuts on Friday! I've gone twice now on Fridays and gotten 1 of every flavor. So exciting to have GF baked goods in STL

Baker's Dozen Donuts: what do users think?
sheri thomas: Good little neighborhood shop. Everyone is always nice and friendly. Donuts always light and sweet.Get there early because they do sell out fast. Most of their donut are gone by 11am.
Matthew Gerken: They have a lot of pastries. Wide variety of breads to choose from. Great place.
Angela Sears Spittal: Delicious donuts, great service! Love a locally owned donut place. Highly recommend!
Lucinda Hamilton: Very nice employees and the donuts are good.
Sara Henderson: Best donuts in town! And they know you by name!
Jeffrey Suttle: Amazing donuts 🍩 with just enough sugar on them. Service always good 👍
morshay andrews: I've been going here since I was a kid! Best donuts ever!
Jennifer Thomas: Lived in the area most of my life, always fresh and delicious, the service is great, and ownership is always on deck.
Sara Lorentz: These are the best donuts you will ever have! We've been getting donuts here for years. These are the lightest, fluffiest, tastiest donuts you will ever taste. I cannot accurately explain the texture but it's not your average donut texture. It's a thick donut, but not heavy. Light weight and almost airy. Not chewy, melts in your mouth. Also their chocolate frosting is delicious and there's always just enough on each donut. More of a thinner glaze than a thick heavy frosting. The long john is my top recommendation, but I've never had anything bad here. I've had glazed, chocolate cake chocolate frosting, vanilla cake chocolate frosting, blueberry cake and an apple fritter. This is a small mom and pop type shop, don't plan to dine in. Grab your dozen and head out. Also, get there early. By mid-morning they've sold many of their donuts and you won't have the best selection. Chocolate long johns are popular so I try to get there super early for them. They can be sold out by 9am.
Quiana Bush: Great friendly staff love the personality. The donuts are amazing fresh and soft. My favorite is the glazed cake omg I love it has the perfect balance soft but have a slight crunch it's a little heavier than the original glazed but still light at the same time so hard to explain you got to try it to know what I'm saying I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Andrew Karandjeff: Classic donut shop with a great selection of donuts. The guys behind the counter are very good natured & friendly. Love the fact that they open early as I can hit them on the way to work. They will sell out, especially on the weekends, so the sooner you get there, the better off you'll be.
David Poole: Got two dozen donuts for co workers today and they were an absolute delight! Friendly and quick place! 10/10 would recommend
Ericka Story: Always a great experience... FAST... BUT GREAT!!
E. Sands: They have the best donuts I have ever had. The staff are wonderful and the care and love they have for their craft is evident.
G Lee: I go to this place faithfully love their donuts and good worker and donuts every morning.
Jessica Hernandez: Best donuts I have ever have in MO!
Jonathan V: Great donuts and fairly friendly staff. Although you do need to get their early, especially on Saturdays and Sundays. Don't roll in at 9:00am on a weekend and expect there to be much selection or many donuts left. They also are typically closed on and around holidays. For example, I tried going to Baker's Dozen on Saturday, Sep. 3, but they were closed with a sign stating that they would be closed for the entire weekend through Labor Day (Labor Day was Sep. 5th). I ended up going to JMC Donuts that day, which is nearby, but I prefer Baker's Dozen.
sweetkey816: The best donuts in the area. Highly recommend.
Joseph Turner: Simply put the donuts here are delicious. 100% guarantee that you will like them.
John Singer: Great local donut shop. Try the Caramel Apple donuts and you won't regret it!
M: The customer service was exceptional and the donuts were delicious. They let my toddler pick her donut first, and even packaged it separately. She was so excited for that. Definitely a go to for classic donuts done right!

Strange Donuts: what do users think?
Cori Stines: Roger perfers this location just for convenience
Z: really basic donuts. nothing to rave about
Chloe Brown: worst gluten free donut i’ve ever eaten. it was so dry, and literally disgusting. i feel like they make the gf donut just to say they make it. 10/10 do not recommend to anyone looking for a gluten free alternative.
R Cusick: Not quite as fresh as I've had in the past. No seating, limited options on display. Employee was very kind. Took my donut and milk up to LC Roasters to eat.
Ashley Lumpkin: I love the idea and the pictures online look incredible. However, the $1 donuts from donut drive in are better. They looked old and didn’t taste fresh at all. For the high price tag we were expecting better quality.
Cody Cummings: I’m on the fence with Strange Donuts. I’ve tried their maple bacon donut and their gooey butter cake donut. They weren’t bad, but they also weren’t good. I appreciate the flavor combo ideas and the effort that goes Into adapting an iconic STL dessert into a donut, but something is just kind off. The gooey butter cake tasted more like a sugary paste on top of dense chewy donut. The sweetness was over the top on both, and the underlying flavor of the dough seemed masked by the sugar. I like the atmosphere of the shop and the staff is friendly. I think you should go and make your own opinion, and that’s why I’m leaving this as a 3 star review.
Noah Nieder: My girlfriend and I both got two donuts. One of them was fine but the gooey butter cake donut was rancid. It was so bad that my girlfriend threw it away only eating half of it. The next day after eating it she got extremely sick and we're pretty sure it gave her food poisoning. Would not recommend. You'd have better luck at old town donuts.
Timothy Alrashedy: Over priced for the size and quality
J O (Nafran): Good service, too expensive for the product IMO
Jason LaBarbera: Great place to go to if you immediately want to develop diabetes. I got the gooey butter donut and could only eat about half of it (It was fun to eat but extremely rich). I think that was the point, so not really a let down or anything. Just not really for me.
chelsea kiser: Almost all of the donuts we ordered were just donuts with a plain glaze on them. There was a pink glaze, 2 blue glaze, 2 chocolate glaze, vanilla glaze, plain glaze and then a chocolate peanut butter (no filling) and maple bacon (was not good), a red goop filled one, a very plain cakey cinnamon and sugar. The only “strange” donut was a gooey butter donut. They truly tasted like they came from Wal Mart bakery and strange donuts rebranded with their own very plain glazes. What’s the point of ordering something “strange” if there aren’t even any flavors?
Mike: Don't bother going here. The grocery store has a better value.
Patty Welten: Grandson loved his first donut from Strange donuts
Paula Albrecht: Six donuts for $20, granted some were "specialty" donuts. They were okay, but nothing special.
Kyle Eckert: Went to the Maplewood location for my daughter's Birthday breakfast, expecting the bright display case and cheerful music from days past. What we entered was a sad display with sadder donuts, with rap blasting from a speaker. We should have guessed from the lack of a line what to expect. The kids were excited, so we purchased donuts but quickly asked for a refund to take out business elsewhere, since the donuts did not appear fresh. We didn't try them, but they were sad looking and we didn't want sad donuts from a birthday breakfast. Our last experience here was great, but a few years ago. It seems theyve stopped trying to deliver good donuts or a good experience, and argued with me about a refund when I explained the disappointment.Never again.
Anna Eckert: What happened?!?! This place used to be so cool!!! Now there are almost no doughnuts on display, and they looked to be 5 days old. We came here hoping it would be a fun thing for my daughter's birthday and was very disappointed.
Tim Phelps: Just plain old donuts. They were okay. I didn't like them only having display donuts, instead of showing them all in a case. It's just nice to see what you're getting.
Barb Dineen: Service wasn't very friendly this time. The cake donuts were delicious but the cinnamon roll was very dry unfortunately. Unusal experience this go around. Will try again and hope for a more welcoming customer service person.
Samuel DiLorenzo: Creative names/gimmicks with extremely mediocre flavor, bad aftertaste and overpowering sweetness. If you want to spend the money and consume the empty calories there are many better donuts to eat close by. Very pricy but does not deliver. It is a Walmart doughnut decorated by a 3rd grade craft fair. Just bad.
Paul Lewis: If I was dying of hunger and had to walk one mile for strange donuts or ten miles for literally another donut shop in STL, I’d choose the ten miles. Even if it meant…risking death.
Sean Linhares: Amazing customer service and the donuts were delicious!!

BennyBronco Sag: This is a donut shop where you can get good donuts still at a fair price. I love this place. Support your local neighborhood businesses, folks!
Khalid Mundwiller: Ordered and was shorted 3 donuts, not the end of the world but still. Donuts are ok, nothing really special but certainly not up to the high quality and deliciousness of pharaohs. Just thought I'd give them a try as I was running behind and I needed some delivered rather than adding an extra stop and pharaoh's wasn't an option for delivery.
Kimberly Barna: New I believe. Need a sample please next time I pick up a dash
Scott Colyer: Excellent selection
Laura Giest: Came in on a cold, rainy Friday and needed four dozen donuts for a work function. They had a decent variety and the donuts were delicious! Also, very well priced. The gentleman that worked there was also polite and courteous. Also, they do accept debit/credit cards which is a plus!
Donald Endicott: Got off the night shift Sunday morning and the shop wasn't open at 5am when I stopped by. Update the hours of operation so people don't waste their time.
Eric Welker: 🔥🔥
Robert Jackson: Best dambed doughnuts ever. DELLLUCIOUS.
Tom Lebbing: Great doughnuts great selection plus they will make you a giant glazed doughnut for your Birthday.
Amanda: The earlier you get there, the better! Donuts seem to go quick. We was still able to get donuts but they was very picked through. The gentlemen working was very friendly. The donuts we had were phenomenal.
David Spethman: Great donuts and great staff!!
Zan Allen: Eddie is a genuinely good person that cares about the people in his community and provides a one of a kind experience on top of world class donuts. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.
Mercutio Moriarty: Great donuts.
