Downtown Dogs StL: what do users think?
Tessa Sanchez: Came into town to visit the arch and brought my 2 dogs here, this was the first time they've been to a daycare. The price was great and the dogs were happy and seemed like they had a great time when I picked them up. Even the one who has a bit of separation anxiety looked like she had fun, she didn't even cry. And they got their nails trimmed. I would definitely bring them back if we come to town again.
Kristina Johnson: Great service
Fawnda Tucker: I love Downtown Dogs StL! My furbaby loves it even more. He gets so excited everytime we turn on Delmar. The staff are great! Miss Barbara is my go to groomer. He is a long hair German Shepherd so he has a LOT of fur. She does an amazing job every time. We leave him for 2 weeks every year while we are out of the country and I have no question that he is treated as well as he would be at home. He also goes for short overnight stays and doggy daycare. LOVE ❤️
Gem: Took good care of my dog, but I got my dog back smelling like pee.
Alex Degman: This place is so great that I moved away from St. Louis (to Springfield IL) and I still take my dog there for boarding on weekend trips and for daycare if I’m visiting for the day. Everyone who runs the place has at one point bent over backwards to accommodate me and my weird schedules — looking at Barb especially. And most importantly everyone there LOVES Louie, and he still gets excited when we pull up in the car.
Bárbara Negrón: I love this Downton Dogs. My dog is the alpha in my house, with them he is not and readily trots away smiling. I trust them 100%.
Lauren Bledsoe: DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! A year ago they lost my friends dog and were zero help with helping locate him. Instead of being sympathetic, they were rude and dismissive. Luckily my friends dog was found (again, with zero help from Downtown Dogs) and since then, I have seen 3 more dogs have been lost from the facility. And who knows if there have been even more lost dogs! Losing the dogs is bad enough, but they don't even help find the missing dogs! In addition, they delete negative comments and are not honest on any of their social media. Do not take your dog here under any circumstance! Support another business that actually cares about pets and their owners.
Joscelynn Mccottrell: The have a history of losing dogs. They lost my dog May 12 and haven’t been much help with locating him. When I posted my dog on lost and found pets pages so many people recognized this place specifically for losing pets. We are sick because we don’t have our dog.
Jennie Miller: Please be aware about how many dogs have been able to run out the front door or “broken out”/“ disappear” in their care. One of the last ones lost its life.Another one as of 5/12/2022.
Paul Suess: Great Dogs, great owner, exceptional service. Highly recommend.
Jonathan Carlomagno: My dog comes back happy and tired. Price is in line with other places and staff is easy to talk to
Joshua Wendell: They were exceptionally accommodating to our pup. We came to St. Louis to see the City Museum, downtown dogs location is just a block and half from there. The staff were friendly, attentive to the pups, all was delightful
Fire Retirees: Rocket loves his daycare comes home and goes straight to sleep After playing all day
Cedric Davis: My dog Chico loves this place.
Bea Buzzling Sunday: Barbara is amazing and always takes care of Lowrider! Thank you so much, I don't trust many to do his nails! You're the best!
Wayne Kearney: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness,ValueI love these people. They take very good care of my Pup and he comes home exhausted!! Which is exactly the reason I take him there. I don't always have the energy to wear him out as he wants. Highly recommended!
Kelli Johnson: Great place. Love the employees
Jennifer W.: Very friendly workers and the dogs seem to love them
G.I Vanever: Critical:Quality,ReliabilityInformed them of instructions needed to care for my puppy multiple times, almost allowed it to drink it's self to death on multiple occasions, then caused the puppy you catch a bacterial pneumonia. Hospital bills ended up thru the roof. Saddest moment of my life by far.
Kimberlie Goodwin: Was not throughly impressed. When I picked up my dog it was obvious that he had not had much access to water or an area to potty. He drank his bowl empty the minute we got him back to the hotel. He had obviously been either outside or somewhere very warm because he was panting like crazy trying to expel heat from his body when I placed him in the car. Will not be using this service again.
Michelle Stark: Great Team here to look after my fur baby

Rosie's Doggie Day Care & More: what do users think?
Madeline King: Rosie’s has been like a second home for my dog going on 6 years now. He LOVES the staff and they all take such great care of the dogs! Their facilities are engaging and they provide all sorts of fun for the dogs during all seasons. The different play yards offers dogs of all confidence levels the opportunity to interact with others however their comfort level. My dog started shy but quickly came out of his shell after only a few days! The owners are very hands on in daily operations and they sincerely care for their clients in both daycare and grooming. Danielle does an amazing job making the dogs look so beautiful and she does a great job communicating with clients on what service is best for their pet and their current/future grooming needs. They exceed expectations in every aspect of their work and my dog looks forward to spending time with the staff and his dog friends. I feel incredibly confident leaving my pup in their care when I am at work. Knowing my dog is getting lots of exercise and interaction rather than sitting home alone gives me so much peace of mind. The best part of my day is looking at the photos of the dogs on the Rosie’s Facebook page!! They look like they’re having such a great time, all the time!If you’re looking for a loving, exciting place to take your fur babies, I recommend Rosie’s over everyone else.
Susan Stuart: Doggone wonderful place!
Liz Bayer: Love Rosie's! Our dog almost jumps out of the car as soon as I open the door because she's so excited to go! The staff is friendly and someone is always there to greet us at the front desk. I've had experiences with other daycares where they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, making it difficult to feel at ease about who you are leaving your dog with. They are so caring here and provide a fun and safe atmosphere for our 5-month-old pup to burn off some energy! The facility has security cameras that take pics of the dogs throughout the day, which are then shared on the company's Facebook that evening. I also love that they separate the dogs according to size. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a safe and fairly inexpensive way to keep your dog socialized!
ally: I always love the care that's given to our dogs when they go here for grooming!! And our 2 long haired dogs always come back looking amazing. The staff are always super friendly and helpful.
Amy Wheeler: Absolutely hands down the most wonderful doggie daycare! Staff is amazing and my dog loves it!! Comes home exhausted and happy!!
Jennifer B: My pooches love it here!! It is the best investment you could ever make if you have a puppy or a dog that needs socialization they have so much fun in the daycare!!! I've had my dogs groomed their multiple times and have always been very satisfied with how they come out!!! I would highly recommend this wonderful locally owned business and support it as much as you can!!! I still love it here!! 3/2023
STEVEN SCHMALFELD: I always feel safe dropping my puppies at Rosie's. I know that they will be lovingly cared for and that the services are reasonably priced. They have an excellent groomer
Todd Mueller: Best decision I made for my Husky Jax! From Dawn in the morning taking him in, to Danielle when she grooms him, many thanks to Dahnyel, she brings him back when day is over, Rosie and Dave have been wonderful, Rosie's is honestly 1/2 hour out of my waymorning and evening every day, but Jax won't be going anywhere else
B Griffin: I have been bringing my dog to Rosie's for daycare and grooming for a year. The staff is awesome! It is wonderful to know I can drop my guy off where he is safe, well cared for and gets to play and socialize all day.
priscilla schroeder: Love the care and grooming they have always given our furbabies! We have used them for our past three dogs. We are currently using them for our new addition we have had her a year and half! Our 🐕 🐶 have always looked forward to going to the groomers!
jessica derting: We just moved from Seattle, WA and was in need of a groomer for our sweet papillon. Just had our first visit today and I’m beyond thrilled at how great he looks! So happy we found this place! Jasper looks fabulous!
Chas Lupo: Very good and friendly service with knowledgeable vets and very clean work areas. Also when you make an appointment they don't make you wait and take you right in when you get there.
Cassandra Weathers: Love Rosie's!! It like dropping your fur-baby with family! The staff is so friendly. My doggie plays all day and is ready to snuggle and sleep all night. Great way to socialize and exercise your fur-babies! Also if you need your dog groomed or just maintained the salon is awesome!
Frank Lawson: Great business and service the pet groomer does a amazing job.
Jack Porter: Very nice place! People are super friendly!
Debbie Schillinger: We have been coming here for 4 years. We love the staff and the owners! We consider them family. There is so much for my dog to do and play with while she is there. The attendants love on the dogs and encourage playing with and amongst the dogs and with the things available to them: pools in the summer and misters as well as in the winter: heated tents, sweaters or coats to borrow and raised cots with blankets. Danielle the groomer takes time with each dog to make them feel comfortable while getting their fur and nails done. People say dogs aren't like humans...yes they are. She has her best friends that she has grown up with since day 1 here and new ones she has made. It's a very interactive atmosphere where every dog feels included and attended to. She has become a social dog with no fear of humans or other animals because of Rosie's. The prices are the best in St. Louis for everything you get here as well as the love and a happy dog going home.
Priscilla W: Really A Great Place
Jan Wheatley: Friendly, very good with dogs. Not too expensive. I get my dog groomed here often. So far I like it better than any other place in my neighborhood.
Melissa Wussler: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueCan’t say enough great things about Rosies. Reasonably priced and very friendly. I think my Buddy enjoys the attention he gets there.
Cory Spence: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Sandra Bailey: Very professional. My fur- babies get great haircuts. Would recommend. Clean facility.

Arch City Dog Boarding: what do users think?
Patrick Laughlin: Our dogs had a great time while we were gone. Shelly and her staff are professional and caring. I felt like our babies were in great hands. We have a 7-month-old bloodhound who is a handful, and they were so patient with him. I would highly recommend them I can't wait to attend training.
Kathy Dalton: It's difficult to review a boarding place when you don't see what's going on while you're away. Here's what I do know. Shelly asked a lot of questions about our dogs and gave us time to tell her about their personalities, needs, and issues during the meet and greet. She took notes, which made me feel like it mattered to her to give them personalized care. One of my dogs has anxiety and gets very upset when we leave her. When we pick her up after a stay at Arch City, our girl greets us with happiness and excitement, which tells me that she isn't traumatized by her stay. This alone is worth a 5-star review to me. When we have picked her up from other facilities, she desperately runs to the door, with her tail tucked, trying to get out, and doesn't even acknowledge that we're there.
kristen Grace: Shelly and the staff at Arch City are lifesavers. My pup Colonel has anxiety issues, and we previously has issues with another boarder, so we weren’t sure what to do. Arch City came highly recommended from our trainer at Stray Rescue, and we will never go anywhere else. Shelly and her team specialize in dogs with anxiety and nervousness and are a godsend. Arch City worked one-on-one with Colonel to help him get settled in and worked with me to settle my own nervous dog parent woes. Shelly is easy to communicate with, super transparent, and I know that heaven forbid anything were to happen, she would give my pup the same level of care and attention I would. Colonel loves Arch City too! The moment he sees the building, he knows exactly where he is and could not care less about saying bye- he loves Shelly and his friends at Arch City.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Robert Engle: My pup has been staying with Shelly and her team at Arch City Dog Boarding on overnights and vacations for nearly a year now. He is always very excited and happy to go see Shelly and his friends which reassures me that he is having a great time while he’s there. Scheduling in advance and invoicing online are very easy once set up after the initial meet and greet. I highly recommend Shelly and Arch City Dog Boarding!
Jenny Mazzy: Shelly and her team are true canine professionals/behaviorists and this sets them apart from all other daycare and boarding facilities we’ve tried. The care they provide is attentive and personalized (check out their blog to see why!) and I can honestly say hand on my heart, they are the best in the STL area.
Laura Reed: We’ve taken our dog to Arch City Boarding a few times now and we’re so happy. Shelly is so organized and great with our dog. I never have any doubt that our dog is getting the best care possible with her and her staff & our dog has a wonderful time. I 100% recommend!
Merrill Rubens: Shelley and her team are truly amazing. They are trustworthy, detail-oriented, and clearly knowledgeable about all things dog. I hate leaving our dog behind when we go out of town, but when it is necessary, I know that she is in wonderful hands with Shelly! so glad we stumbled upon her webpage!
Anna Todd: I could not recommend Arch City dog boarding more! Shelly is wonderful and immediately set me and my dog at ease so that even though we had had a previous experience with a different boarding facility that was not good, I was able to leave my pup at Arch City for a week (when I was halfway across the country) feeling totally comfortable that she was in good hands. My dog had an awesome time and came back so happy. Thank you Shelly and team!
Veronica Simon: My dog has had some behavioral issues we’ve been working on. He got kicked out of the previous place he boarded and since then his behavior has improved but I have still been hesitant to take him anywhere and many places have turned us away due to his history (he’s improved but I still feel I should be honest about previous challenges). Not only was Shelly willing to give him a shot, she planned our meet and greet and our first boarding night so she would have a chance to get to know him! My dog seemed comfortable when I dropped him off and comfortable when I picked him up!I really appreciate Shelly’s willingness to to take in my doggo as well as the calm environment she provides!
Toney Chiles: They are professional and caring and we feel very comfortable leaving our dog in their care.
Caitlin Jackson: We’ve been boarding our dogs, Queso and Reese, with Shelly and her team at Arch City for the better part of a year now. I could not imagine taking our dogs anywhere else moving forward. Prior to finding Arch City we had tried a few other places, none of which treated our dogs the way they should have been treated. I wasn’t sure I’d ever feel comfortable leaving them somewhere but that changed once we found Arch City. One of our pups needs a little extra love as she isn’t great with other dogs. Arch City understands this and provides her with what she needs without compromising her experience. She isn’t given any less attention or deprived of any time because she’s selective with other dogs. Both of our dogs seem to love Arch City and their team. When we pick them up from stays they are happy, clean, and not stressed. We’re so grateful for the team!
Rachel Sharp: Shelly and her team are extremely trustworthy. I had a great experience taking my dog to Arch City Dog Boarding. The meet & greet was great, and Shelly asked a lot of important, personalized questions about my dog. The entire process was really organized. When my dog was there, he got to play with other dogs and do enrichment activities, and I knew he was well cared for. They were safety and weather conscious to prevent anything from happening to the dogs. Shelly is very familiar with the dog care industry and she seemed really committed to improving it. I have a hard time leaving our dog when we're out of town, but we were so comfortable leaving him in the care of Shelly and her team. I highly recommend Arch City Dog Boarding and we will definitely be trusting them with our dog again!!
Kirk Linenfelser: Very kind and warm. I love taking my dog here. They are very organized and accommodating. I've taken my dog to other locations that are bigger, and the care and attention to your dog is lost. Not at Arch City, they are nothing but caring! I recommend bringing your pooch here!
credenza: Shelly is fantasticDoggo is always mayor of happy town whenever I pick her up too.
Amanda Tomschin: We had to board out boy, Fozzie, for the first time since adopting him. Shelly helped with great info about his stay and has the perfect set-up for her 4-legged visitors. ACDB is wonderful!
Marquita Mahon: This place is our worry free go to for Dog boarding!
Marie Franklin: We have boarded our dog, Louie, at Arch City a handful of times now and he is always so excited when he arrives and realizes he gets to spend time here! The first time we boarded Louie with Arch City, he was only a few months old, way younger than we wanted to leave him for a week, but we had to travel out of state for a funeral. Shelly spent almost an hour with me explaining her philosophy, approach to boarding, company history, and letting Louie explore the space. She knew how nervous we were and checked in with us regularly to let us know how he was doing. We love that Arch City only boards 12 dogs at a time, meaning we know that our pup is getting lots of attention. We always feel guilty when we need to board Louie, but we know Arch City is basically a vacation for him so that helps with the guilt! There is no other place that we would board Louie. Thanks Shelly and team!
Erica Field: Our dog Biscuit has been coming to Shelly since we moved to St. Louis over 4 years ago. She is absolutely the best we could have asked for! She always goes above and beyond and takes excellent care of Biscuit. We're moving out of state now, and I wish I could take Arch City Dog Boarding with us!
Cecelia Klimek: I am relatively new to the St. Louis area and needed to kennel my dog over the Thanksgiving holiday. I adopted my dog within the past year and was so nervous to kennel her for the first time ever. Shelly and her team put all of my worries to rest and were wonderful with my very temperamental pup! Shelly went above and beyond to make my dog's stay as comforting and seamless as possible. Shelly and her team were thorough and personalized with their care, and their services are well worth the money. I will definitely bring my dog back to Arch City Dog Boarding whenever needed. Thank you, Shelly! :)
Hazel Clark: Beautiful boarding facility! Went there a few months ago and my dog was treated amazing! I plan to come back. I was home from husbands deployment and took my pup here. My husband and I will be back next time I’m home. It smelled amazing and the service was great. The facility seemed to have great customer service and my mom was the one that recommended the place!
Becca Brune: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueArch City provided such attention and care for my dog during his first stay. The requirement of the meet and great is a great way for dogs to get comfortable before their stay. Shelly and Michelle were so great - highly recommend!!

BauserHaus: what do users think?
DARTH NOOBIE: Thank goodness this place was finally closed down. In my opinion, the owner was one of the worst people I've ever dealt with.
Its me Ghosty: Place has been shut down as of 2-13-2023.
Kathy Maher: I know exactly what your talking about Christine hendrix , my daughter work for this evil women for almost 2 years, she treated her unhuman and my daughter witnessed more times than you can count the employees kicking dogs in the stomach, the owner Natalie, did NOTHING, I was hoping someone closed her down by now.
Michael Valvero: If your dog is attacked expect the owner not to care.
Christina Hendrix: STEAR CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. I just took my animals to my vet, mentioned they were close to home and we plan on traveling soon, and was told: The owner doesn’t care about animals, or humans, of any kind. They also mentioned that they may currently be under investigation by MULTIPLE agencies, including the ADA. I thought this was worth sharing. Protect your animal and save yourself potentially thousands of dollars as well as frustration, from the stories I heard today.
Amanda Rau: Rachael was very kind and welcoming to both us and our baby. She played hard all day and came home exhausted and happy. I will be boarding her soon and will edit my post accordingly.
Lewis Williams: I give BauserHaus a 4 star rating ONLY because of the exceptional service and care to the dogs and the facility that David an employee that has been there for two years, has shown himself to be both kind and highly professional.
Andrew Abraham: Great doggie daycare. My dog goes 3 - 4 days a week
Deborah Burns: I love BauserHaus. Rachael is a warm, friendly greeter with wonderful communication skills. Our little dog is extremely active, and at BauserHaus, he always finds a kindred canine soul to help tire him out. The rates are very reasonable. The staff works hard to group dogs according to size and energy level. We also love that we can drop him off without having to book an appointment.
Evan Hunnicutt: Our puppy and our full grown lady love Bauserhaus and always come home tired from a long day of play and smelling of coconut hand lotion from all the pets they get! 10/10
Robert Bierer: They care for our dogs like they were their own.
Diana Brown: I have been going to Bauserhaus almost since the beginning. I took my Boston terrier there, and she loved it. I even took her when she had had surgery and asked them to segregate her, which they seemed quite willing to do. (This was for doggy day care, not boarding while I went off on a trip.) She still had some human company, which she would not get at home alone all day, and which she seemed to prefer to dog company anyway, and if something did go wrong, I was nearby and could deal with it. She continued to go every day, even when she got Cushing's disease, right up to the last. I eventually got a beagle mix rescue and have started taking him there. He is having a ball. He is quite a bit different. He loves the company of other dogs and plays hard and comes home exhausted. I have never had anything bad happen to either dog at Bauserhaus.Other's have noted that the owner, Natalie, seems unfriendly. I have never found that to be the case, but she is not gregarious and she takes the responsibility of caring for other people's fur kids very seriously. She has developed her own policies and procedures for her business and she doesn't compromise those just to get or keep business.Where Natalie seems reserved, Rachel, who usually greets and receives customers in the mornings, is very outgoing and clearly loves the pups. It always brightens my day to see her smiling face in the morning.I think some of these negative reviews were unfair. The lady who left her dog who had just had surgery while she went off on a trip is an example. I would never plan a trip right after my dog had surgery. Seems to me that if the surgery could have been put off until after the trip, that would have been the thing to do. Or if the surgery was emergency, put off the trip. Or, if neither was possible, board the dog with the vet, not doggy daycare. Take some responsibility, people! Don't put a business in a difficult situation and then blame them when something goes wrong.I can think of instances where Natalie even went out of her way for a customer. Several years ago, there was a fire down the street from Bauserhaus. The police blocked off an entire section of Manchester from Hanley to Brentwood. I had to get to work, but I couldn't get to Bauserhaus, on Breckenridge Industrial Ct, even though it was just a block from Hanley, I wasn't going anywhere near the fire and just needed to drop off my dog and come back out. I explained all that to the officer, but he refused to let me by. Very frustrating! I called Natalie and she offered to start walking to Manchester if I could find a nearby parking lot and start walking toward her. Just about that time, the firetrucks left and the officer opened up Manchester again, so I was able to get in, but I consider that going above and beyond.Anyway, if you are a responsible pet owner, Bauserhaus is great place to bring your dog!
David Matthews: Love it there
Hajji Hinds: Nice establishment. 😐
Michael Alberti: They have been great with our hyper and socially awkward friend. Seem to actually form relationships with all of their furry clients rather than pen 100 of them up and collect money for it.
Lindsay Pietroburgo: WOW... where do I start? I took my dog there for years and while the owner was never really that friendly I always felt my dog was being taken care of there so I kept going back. The last time I went there my dog had to have surgery on her arm to have a small tumor taken off. I had called several days before and talked to Rachel to explain my dog had a cone on her and if that was going to be ok for her to stay the weekend. She explained that they have lots of dogs come through with all kinds of situations and assured me that everything would be fine. So I come in on the Friday morning right before I needed to leave to catch my flight and I tried to tell the owner about my dog and her surgery and she brushed me off and just told me to fill out the sheet with all the information. So, I filled out all the information while she stood there holding my dogs leash in her hand until I finished. Same cold demeanor that she always has and walked away. I left, went home and was picking up my phone to call my uber when she was calling me from Bauserhaus. Immediately concerned I answered the phone and she told me that I needed to come get my dog because she was bleeding all over the place. I asked what had happened?? She told me that I had just dropped my dog off with an open wound (as if I didn't tell them she had surgery on her arm. I told Rachel AND the owner when I walked in) and she said it as if I did something absolutely terrible. I said she had her surgery like a week ago and everything was fine and she was healing perfectly fine. What in the world happened? She said well it sounds like you're blaming us for what happened. My dog was literally there not even 15 minutes and this happened. I tell her I can't come get my dog because I have to catch my flight, don't you guys take dogs to the vet? What happens when a dog has an emergency? Isn't that the point of PAYING money to someone to take care of your dog? Can they not handle emergency situations? So the owner snootily says "well it sounds like you're more concerned about your flight than you are about your own dog".... It took me everything I had to just hang up on her instead of actually telling her what I thought of her and her terrible attitude. How do you talk to a customer that way? How do you treat dogs that way? How do you not know how to handle emergency situations? What happens if an owner is out of the country and no access to a phone? You would think they would have a policy in place. Let me tell you that my dog will NEVER go back there again. And I regret all the years that I did take her there THINKING she was being taken care of. Because clearly these people don't know how to handle any type of situation that comes up. I would be very weary of taking your dog there. This happened about a month ago and it took me this long to calm down to write a review that wasn't just a rant. Absolutely terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service and treatment of animals. Take your dog somewhere else. I would NOT recommend this place whatsoever.
Obi Griffith: Nothing fancy. But good professional boarding and day care in a convenient location. Moderately priced.
bernard5821: We've used their services for numerous years and continue to enjoy and support their business
Christopher Pueblo: We have been taking Butters to Bauserhaus regularly for the past ~5 years. Butters is always super excited to meet Natalie and his other friends, and comes home tired and happy. We've never had any issues with him getting injured or sick from playing there, and every employee we've interacted with has had a genuine interest and love for dogs. I really can't rate Bauserhaus high enough, we love it here.
Heidi V: They are always friendly and love my dog almost as much as I do.
Dan Thornquist: We have been actively taking our dog here almost every week for the last 3.5 years. The staff and owner are great and the facility is extremely clean. Our dog absolutely loves running wild and playing with the other dogs. This is the best dog daycare/boarding service in the STL area!

Kamp K9: what do users think?
Tori Spain: My dog Finn loves it here. He is always so happy to go to daycare. At pickup, he always looks like he just had the best day ever. He has been discriminated against at other places because of his breed. Everyone at Kamp K9 treats him so kindly, just as they do all the dogs.
John Strickley: My two dogs absolutely love this place. Staff is extremely friendly and responsive to messages. Would recommend Kamp K9 to everyone.
Kyle Mayden: Amazing daycare, the staff here are so great and caring. Jack loves going and I know he’s in good hands.
Keith F: Our two dogs have been going to Kamp K-9 for over 2 years. They absolutely love it and get so excited when they are going to play with their friends all day - and we love it since they come home worn out! Stacy and the rest of the crew are such a pleasure, really care about the dogs, and really know the dogs and their personalities. Their hours (6:30am-6pm) are such a huge benefit for us as well. HIGHLY recommend Kamp K-9!
Doris Theiss: Our dog goes to Kamp K9!! She Loves it there! She has made friends with other dogs. Plus she gets to use her energy which is very important when you are a young dog.
Madeline Rossy: The owner and staff are so sweet to both me and my pup, and their daily rates are very competitive! If you plan on coming often, buying 10 or 20 visits at a time is well worth it.
Meghan Cain: Started taking my pup here once a week when my obedience trainer recommended this local family-owned business. Sold already. He sleeps a good amount of the evening afterwards, so I know he gets a lot of playtime. They seem to really like my crazy Lou and I'm so glad he is in great hands!
Maria Duffy: My pup loves it there!!! Always has a great time
Courtney Fusz: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueBax and Max are exhausted after their first day of doggy daycare. We cannot wait to go back every week! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Don’t listen to the 1 star “Karen reviews”, this place is very reasonable and the people are welcoming and caring! Def try them out!
Dorothy Phillips: This place is great
Amra Strawhun: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueMy dog gets so excited when I tell him we are going to doggy daycare. He can’t stop wagging his tail once we arrive. Kamp K9 was recommended to us by our dog trainer and we are not disappointed. My dog comes come happy and very tired!
Brian Dempsey: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueBest dog daycare around! I can trust my dog with them! In addition to dog daycare Kamp K-9 is very knowledgeable. I have had several questions (dog related) and they always have or find the answer for me, and offer sound advice. Clearly the customer is always #1!
Belle Foley: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Valuethis was the absolute worst customer service i have ever received. i accidentally called this number and was treated terribly. thankful i do not send my dog here clearly the people taking care of them are not caring nor personable. terrible service
sheena gates: This by far is the WORST doggy daycare.... I needed some place safe and welcoming for my Bella. The manager Stacey and Jessica is by far the most disrespectful people I've came across in my life. They didn't afford me the chance to voice my concerns about my Bella before rasing their voices. They say pay attention to your child/ren to know something is wrong and in this case even though it's my dog she's still my baby and they were mistreating her because if they wasnt they wouldn't have been so quick to over talk me and be so dismissive about my concerns. VERY rude, unprofessional just down right HORRIBLE!!!!
THE MOON13: Critical:Professionalism
Claire Zaegel: Most places turned down my dog due to crowding, Kamp K9 took him in with open arms. I can trust them with my dog ever single day and know nothing will go wrong. During events like birthdays, my dog sometimes comes home with a little goodie bag. Also, during other holidays I was given a mug with my dog on it and photos. I consider myself so lucky. Also, a costume contest for the pets on Halloween?! Count me in! So grateful and appreciative for Kamp K9...they will keep you updated if needed and give the pups so much entertainment such a pools, and little playground things.
Kathy Golden: Best Doggie Daycare in all of St Louis. The ladies of Kamp K9 take wonderful care with the dogs. They are the dog whisperers of Doggie Day Care. I know of horror stories of other daycare places. This place is so well managed, they don't have to split big dogs from Little dogs. My Italian Greyhound was scared of people when she first started here. She loves to play wit the big dogs and love the ladies of Kamp k-9. Now she is learning to like strangers too!

Love Unleashed Daycare and Boarding: what do users think?
Emily C: Let me start first with the positive. Some of the staff at both locations were extremely nice and the hours are great for healthcare workers! The price was more than reasonable. But what I will say is if your dog has any issues (overwhelmed at dog parks etc) this is not the place to go. Some of the staff does not know how to handle dog behaviors or give proper breaks to dogs becoming overwhelmed. My dog would do great if she got there earlier however they would have up to 100 dogs in a small space (800sqft?). You could always hear barking and chaos from the back. This was very stressful to my dog. My main issue was the way I was treated on my final interaction with staff. The lady that day took all of 5 minutes from me dropping my dog off for boarding as I was leaving town to call me and state my dog was no longer welcomed at their facility. But don't worry they offered to keep her crated for FOUR DAYS for the same price... nice try. We went to a much nicer facility where my dog had the treatment and playtime she deserved. She was no longer in a crowded gym with 100 dogs at a time ready to brawl it out. Based off this last interaction I would not recommend Love Unleashed. Unfortunately for traveling HCW they are the ONLY dog daycare in STL with hours outside of 7-7.
Todd Parkhusrt: Great place. Always friendly and accommodating.
Jerry Armstrong: Love Unleashed is absolutely amazing. Great facility with very caring staff. Would highly recommend!
Curtis: This is the only place we trust with our dog while we are out of town.
Jeffery Wille: Our GSD gets so excited when she knows she is headed to LU. She always comes back tired which is a plus.
Sandra: Horrible!!! If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. I've used them before and only had the best experience, until recently when I made a reservation with them in April 2022 for our vacation scheduled for end of May. I received a confirmation email from them stating the dates were reserved and all they needed was updated vax records for our dog. I called a week before he was scheduled to be boarded to make sure they had everything they needed, with the exception of the vax records which I was going to drop off at the time of boarding. The lady I spoke with assured me we were all set and ready to go.I got a voicemail from Jessica two days before boarding letting me know our dog can't board until he passes the 're-test'. I immediately called them back and left a voicemail message letting them know no one mentioned anything about a retest to me and NOTHING was stated in the email confirmation.I received a phone call the day before our vacation from Doug, who was extremely rude and unprofessional, telling me there's nothing they can do and they're fully booked for the next two weeks. I told him no one said anything about the re-test and it's ridiculous that this issue is being brought up two days before the scheduled boarding. I forwarded the confirmation email and his response to the email WHICH CLEARLY CONFIRMS THE DATES, AND MENTIONS NOTHING ABOUT THE RETEST was "this was sent by one of our inexperienced receptionists but we still can't board your Dog until he passes the re-test". Finally at the end of the conversation, he agreed to let me come in the day before for a retest (of course during business hours and I'd have to leave work to do this) so that we could still board our dog. There was NO apology for their mistake and his attitude and response to a problem they created was extremely ignorant.Luckly, Kennelwood Pet resorts were able to accommodate last minute and board our dog. Even though it cost me double the price of what Love unleashed was going to charge me, it was well worth it (and honestly the price is the only reason why I didn't contact Kennelwood Pet resorts right away in the first place). At the end of the day, the price didn't matter and I wasn't going to send my dog to a place that was overbooked and clearly lacked competent, professional individuals to care for a member of my family. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET TO THESE PEOPLE AND JEOPARDIZE YOUR VACATION PLANS. They caused me so much stress right before my vacation and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.
Victoria Connell: Very caring staff!
Steven Cartwright: They take such good care of our dog Sophie, I will not take her any where else. I love the staff and how well they handle everything. Highly recommend. They also have packs you can buy that make boarding super affordable. :)
Jeremy Schwartz: The people there seemed really nice but the dogs are locked in cages most of the day. We left our pup there for 5 hours and she was in a cage for 3. She looked so sad when we picked her up.
Anthony Lawson: Amazing place for your dog recommend to anyone
Blake Sutton: We have taken our dog here (or to the other location in south city) for years and they are always super friendly and accommodating.
diane drollinger: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThey love dogs, loves my pup and make me feel comfortable when I drop him off. So responsive and friendly. And lots of little extras.
Ruthie Vaughn: Ten months ago I posted how my dog was repeatedly injured at this location. However, after conversation with the staff at the South City location, I am open to giving LU-Crestwood another chance. I will update this review after his stay at LU-Crestwood.
Susy Krisch: my dog loves to go there. its her second home. friendly people, clean place
Hyo Yang: Reasonable price and nice place for dog.
Janet Garesche: Diogie loves going to play. He is a husky and very energetic and is wiped out when he comes home.Everyone there knows his name and gives him lots of love.
Domenick Buwalda: They do great!
Anita Campbell: My dog lo es it there
Tina Richter: Our dog loves the professionals.
Melanie Reeves: They take such good care of all of the dogs there.
Michael Mowery: Rest assured your dogs are in good hands here!

Happy Tails Inc: what do users think?
shawn E.: Great service, happy doggie! Complete with stink eye. Ha!
Ellen Leathers: Treated like family plus excellent customer service
Misty Dake: My daughter brought our dog here for a bath and nail trim. They would not tell her the price for the services in advance despite her asking, they didn't call to let her know that her grooming was finished, they returned our dog wet, and when my daughter went to pay she was informed that the bath was $45 and the de-shedding shampoo was $15 (not a whole bottle, just a single shampooing)! $60 for a short haired 60 lb dog that loves baths to be sent home wet, smelly and still shedding! Absolute rip-off.
Paul Brown: Our dog loves to play here, friendly staff
Rhoda Banks: Love this place they always take good care of our Teddy Bear!
Cori Spencer: I brought my new pup Charlie to Happy Tails for a quick day trip and the staff was amazing and so friendly! They all, every one of them, welcomed Charlie with love! Mark, the manager and Jonathan, one of the employees made the process so easy and I instantly felt comfortable knowing Charlie was going to get great care and have LOTS of fun! We will be back regularly!
Linda Berger: I love Happy Tails for my dogs. Buddy and Benji wag their tails and run inside and enjoy the day. The staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable about my dogs and able to take questions about the play my dogs engage in when spending the day at Happy Tails. I highly recommend this place for Daycare.
Justin Lipner: Wonderful staff, wonderful facility and extremely convenient!
David Sohn: The people are amazing and I’m pretty sure my dog Carlos has a fan club there. Either way, he is JACKED every time he sees I’m taking him there.
N L: Unfortunately, our big boy didn't pass orientation. The crew at HT took the time to care and help attempt to get our boy aquatinted with other pups during orientation, but it just didn't work out. I appreciate the patience they had with my pup and I during the process. While we weren't able to continue going to HT, but I think it speaks volumes about the care that goes into ensuring theur current clients are safe and happy. I would highly recommend this facility considering all of the thought and love that goes into even just potential new clients. Thank you HT team!
Michael Wilke: They take amazing care of your pets and are a wonderful place to work with. Incredibly flexible and willing to work with your schedule.
Beth Jackson: Best doggy place ever! The facility is clean and dog oriented, the staff is professional and friendly and you can use their daycare or boarding options 24/7/365...i.e, they are always open and there for you and your dog. They also have an excellent grooming section if you would like that service. And training. Nice indoor/outdoor play areas for doggies. Lovely place. Lovely people that truly love dogs!
Nancy Whelan: Kim Thomas does an amazing job grooming our puppies!
Doris Boulton: First time I took my dog there and she loved it., she was very tired when we got home
Greg Wyatt: very nice staff.
Jacob Owens: Very friendly and helpful staff
Clara Svaglic: Great staff.
Jennifer Tilman: Kim is the best groomer. She loves on our 2 yorkies as if they were her own. Would never go anywhere else.
John Schwab: 5 stars to anyone who takes care of my doggo.
Jean Choiselat: Incompetent booking service, customer service. Made a reservation only to find out if we weren't actually booked in. We were not given proper information
R McNellis: I have 2 dogs, one with special needs, who needed to board with almost no notice and the manager made arrangements for that to happen. I'm very pleased with their stay.
