St. Louis University Hospital: Endocrinology Department: what do users think?
Tom: The Endocrinology Department is a joke, they are the rudest bunch of women to be working in an area of customer service and the most unprofessional as well. I think her name was Melony, just a note ladies if you want to speak poorly about the people youre putting on hold {to just leave them sitting on hold} you might to wait until you actually hit the hold button on the call. Might want to train your staff again to learn how to act in a professional setting. Recommend not coming nor calling here.
Linda Humphries: I had my internal head bleeding from an attack on vacation in Italy and they made sure with MRI's that the bleeding had stopped and that the small tumor on the side of the brain was gone everyone was totally concerned about me and the headaches I was having with the bleed they got pictures from over 15 years ago of the cyst that was broken open and the ones from that year and showed that it had clodd up. Thank you they also are doing an MRI this year to make sure it has stayed closed and has not grown
Melissa Hayse: Worst hospital EVER!!! I wouldn't even take my worst enemy there. Had to be hospitalized there 2 times. The first time I was there I was suppose to get my vascular bypass done, but I went to see the anesthesiologist and he told me to keep taking all of my medications. So, when the doctor came in to talk to me about the surgery, I talked to him about how I was still taking my medication. So, he put my in the hospital for 10 days and rescheduled my surgery. I had to get all of my teeth pulled out before surgery, then I went back for the surgery and my fiance waited from 11am to 8:45pm before they gave him any information. He was literally removed by security from the hospital. The staff was very rude and ignorant. They weren't giving me my medicine for my other medical conditions. They wouldn't let my fiance stay with me, but I had a roommate and her boyfriend stayed in the room. It was a very traumatic experience. Not even 30 days after surgery, I had went through all of my pain medicine, I was in so much pain. My fiance called the doctors office and they refused to do anything about it. They said 30 days after the surgery I shouldn't be in anymore pain. But if I was hurting that bad then I was told that I needed to go to the emergency room. It was so bad that I went to my primary and she said that I could be in pain for 6 months. Today I received a letter from SLU stating that I need to find a new vascular surgeon. Even though I've had an appointment for Tuesday the 19th for the last 5 months. Which is fine because I have to drive for a hour and a half just to get there. The only thing that sucks is that the vascular surgeon is suppose to be the best in the midwest. But, oh well, I won't have to deal with the rude and ignorant people at the hospital and in the doctors office. I'll figure something elseout. Please take caution when going to that hospital. Worst experience ever!!! Not to mention that the hospital was dirty, no privacy and I wasn't suppose to bend or twist, but not one nurse or technician would help me go to the bathroom. Worst hospital ever!!!

SLUCare Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism: what do users think?
Annie Lehrer: I have had the best experience with SLUCare Endocrine. Knowledge providers, quick service and compassionate care. Thanks!
Theresa Busssen: This is the 3rd time in one year I can not get a hold of my doctor and can not get my medication refilled. I am a T1D and the last time they turned a blind eye to refilling my insulin. Today, I have requested my thyroid medication to be refilled for the 4th time. RUN RUN RUN from this group
David L: Just tried to make a simple appointment after leaving my primary physician and they wanted me to have a seat in the waiting room and it would be 30 minutes. Extremely rude about it too!

Bharathi Raju MD, South County Diabetes and Obesity Center: what do users think?
Debora Kennedy: Caring professionalism greets you at the front desk and continues through getting vitals taken and history updated. Then you meet with Dr. Raju or one of her nurse practitioners. Through their review, suggestions and clear education, my A1C has been 6.2 or 6.3 for years now. They help me take responsibility for myself. They are the best!
Vanessa Frey: Dr. Raju does an excellent job explaining things to her patients. I've been diabetic for over 30 years and she still taught me something new. And she isn't afraid to try a variety of treatments to find what works best for you.
Drew Redman: Dr. Raju and the practice are so easy to work with. The staff and especially Dr. Raju are so kind, considerate and welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. Raju and this practice!
Melinda Granstaff: Wonderful staff and Dr Raju has really helped my daughter with her medical issues
James Crum, Jr.: Love her, the first thing she did was get me off of insulin within 3 days. Previous doctor wanted to add a pharmaceutical every time she saw me.
Kim Wilkins: Love Dr. Raju!! She takes the time to listen to you and she truly cares about her patients. LOVE HER!!!!!!
