Bertarelli Co.: what do users think?
Sara Lorentz: I've had a Pampered Chef knife block and knife set for 13+ years. I lost their sharpening tool probably 8 years or so ago and haven't kept up with sharpening the knives even though they were nice when I got them. The result has been frustration with basic cutting when cooking.Hubby researched knife sharpening in the area and found Bertarelli. We called and they advised we could drop the knives off that day and they would be able to get to them. They sharpened our entire set (10 knives and a kitchen scissor) the same day and called us for pickup. While there the owner answered quite a few of our questions about how to maintain the sharpness, when to sharpen again, etc. Trust me I ask lots of questions lol. He was very patient and educational. When we returned home, Hubby had to try out the knives right away. He has been RAVING ever since about why we waited so long to do this. The cost was very reasonable for the final effect and now everyday ease of using our knives. We will be back much sooner than 8 yrs to sharpen these again! The store itself has many quality items. They do assist a lot of restaurants etc so you will see items for sale here that aren't necessarily something you would need in your home kitchen. That said, you can buy your next knife set and block here and some smaller kitchen accessories. They have BEAUTIFUL handmade wooden cutting boards here with the materials to take care of them as well.If you have a need for new knives, amazing cutting boards (wedding gift maybe?!) or sharpening services, this is a great place to go!
Jordan Wells: 10/10 recommend! We have Cangshan knives that had gone dull over a matter of a few years. Dropped the knives off and an hour later they were sharper than when they were new! Price is EXTREMELY reasonable. Will definitely be coming back in the future!
D Kuth Pastoral Associate: Super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
Dwight Mazanec: Aleays a fun place to shop for the cooking enthusiast. Many regular items and always something new. I can also recommend their knife sharpening as well
Mike Wyatt II: Learned about their sharpening service from Straub’s and wow! Bertarelli sharpened knives make cooking much easier. My least favorite chef knife cut better than my favorite knife used to, after taking it to Bertarelli.
Georges Paddock: Always the best service in town.
Patty Vergano: Excellent service! Excellent products! The chef's knife I bought is quality beyond any I've ever had. They don't just sell knives. They have beautiful handmade charcuterie boards, cutting boards, small kitchen gadgets, meat slicers, and heavy duty commercial grade kitchen equipment. Next time you're on The Hill stop by and take a look. I highly recommend them! I have Christmas presents to buy so I'll be back 🔙
David Rodgers: I gave them a borderline halfway sharp knife and they gave me back a borderline halfway sharp knife ; they seem nice enough so if I ever have a blunt knife that I need transformed into a borderline halfway sharp knife I'll use them again .
Henry Kathmann: Awesome they know all about the best knives how to care for and sharpen
Tiffany Leicht: We took a straight razor to be sharpened. Excellent work. We were already repeat customers, will continue!
Lotus Auriel: The shop manager was extremely rude, condescending and aggressive. He said they could not sharpen pinking shears, yet they supposedly do that. Same with planing a cutting board. Just would not do it. But they took my antique professional tailor's shears and absolutely destroyed them. They never called to indicate that there was a problem. Instead, when my chef friend, who has been bringing her knives in for over 20 years, picked them up, they took her money. When I saw what they had done to them, we went back in, and after making us wait for 10 minutes while he was on the phone, and his associates were working, the manager was extremely, violently antagonistic with me. He tried to convince me they were fine, when the blades wouldn't meet or properly cut through a mask, and he had bent the ring and nut completely out of shape. He eventually gave the $10 back, but never apologized or offered any kind of acknowledgement or compensation. He literally drove us from his shop, in the most unprofessional and rage filled way possible. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I know this is a family business, and they have always been highly recommended. But whatever is going on here, they are not what they once were. They do not deserve to be in business. They have brought shame on their grandmother's name.
David Venegoni: Nice guys. They sharpened my knives very well. Most of the time they can get you done in 90 minutes or less. They give you real info and don't try to over sell you.
Jordan Williams: I came into the store yesterday willing to spend several hundred dollars on knives yet, I was not over sold. The attendant helped with any questions I had and even showed me some boxed sets he had available. He could have taken me for much more and I would have still walked out happy with my purchase.
Mark Kraus: Bertarelli cutlery is a fantastic store for finding the knife you need for your purpose and fit to hand. You really need to hold a knife in your hand to be assured the feel is right. This is the place to do just that. From low cost to highest quality, they have everything you need. Knowledgeable, friendly, no pressure service. Very fair prices too. Very pleased with my first time in store and purchase. I will be back.
Mark Williams: A great place for slicing and dicing !
Brett Martinson: I took our 12 piece cutlery set up for sharpening. These haven’t been properly sharpened since we received them as a wedding gift over 6 years ago. They’re like new now. I dropped them off on a Saturday morning and were ready in 90 minutes. I can cut paper with them. Prices were reasonable and they put each blade into a sleeve for me to take home. Please go to Berteralli for your cutlery needs!
Richard Brooks: Great and fast service
A N: Nice selection of quality knives as well as various kitchen equipment new, used, retail, and commercial. They have a wide variety and my interaction with the staff was helpful and informational.
T Baker: Bertarelli honed a 100 year-old straight razor of mine to be shave-ready. It's been six months and, with daily stropping, the edge still feels brand new. They finished the job before it was due and provided helpful advice to keep the carbon steel blade stain-free and in good order. Also, they provided insight about the hunting, tactical, and utility knife market and didn't pressure a purchase from their inventory. Very friendly and professional.
Travis Estes: I've used Bertarelli several times for sharpening - excellent work. A fun shop to peruse and the source to find that specific kitchen tool that you need.I did have an issue once and they went above and beyond to take care of me. Great people, great business, I cannot recommend enough!
Harry Pettey: I brought in two hunting knives, a kitchen knife, fish filet knife and two pocket knives for sharpening. They were very friendly and were finished for pick up within 90 minutes so I was able to go eat lunch, walk around and come back in the same day. They brought all the knives back to their original shape and sharpness. Definitely recommend.

CUTCO Kitchen: what do users think?
Bill Latz: Brad is awesome!Terrific service and a "can do" attitude.Great experience 👍
Stoney Meyerhoeffer: Cheerful, helpful staff. Quick service on my sharpening and they had everything I wanted to buy in stock. Top quality products. The price warrants it. If you know, you know.
Laura Jones: Well, my goodness. I can't say enough about the kindness and help that we received at the Olive Street store! Carol Simpson was an absolute doll! Customer Service exists!!! Not only do you get free knife sharpening (and Carol was so conscientious in helping with ours), they also have lots of cool new products. Carol answered almost a million questions and gave me hope that customer service is not dead. What a great experience!!! A 10!!!!
Katie Heaney: incredible service and product
Michellia Parmentier: Do not know if the employee is new however, what I just experience was the worst customer service. The store had almost no gift sets in stock and I had to keep walking around asking if this one was in stock or not. For her to sit behind the desk and tell me yes or no. I feel as the worker should have gotten up or told me in advanced after the 3rd time of me asking which sets were in stock instead of wasting my time. Date of visit 05/25/2022 around 5:30pm
George Sackett: We brought in our set of knives for sharpening. They were very professional and efficient. The knives were ready in a couple of days.
Tom Cunningham: Always a great experience.
Cynthia Nelson: Took my knives in for free sharpening and forgot my block. Called them and they will hold it until knives are done, so I don't have to drive back just to pick it up. Nice of them. I always miss my knives when they are in for sharpening and really appreciate them when I get them back. Looked at the pruning shears as next purchase. They feel comfortable in my hand, light weight and they will sharpen them when necessary. Cutco is so great!
R. Tad w2: Brought in my much used and loved Cutco knives for sharpening after 20 years of service. Man at service center wanted to send to factory for sharpening, felt lost for the 2 weeks without them, then. Low and behold they (Cutco olean,NY) replaced all 8 in the set and my hunting knife. My mouth dropped when I opened the box and packages. Replaced for NEW, what company in the age of disposable does that?! Thank you, I'm impressed and very appreciative. CUTCO WORTH THE MONEY, NEVER HESITATE...for life, Really.
Leslie Hurd: So happy we have a Cutco store in our area. Love that you can just take your knives to be sharpened for free. Staff is always nice.
Virginia Saylor: The best and easiest way to get Cutco knives sharpen and add another Cutco knife or tool, or a great gift. Loved the spices and other products too. Going to visit again soon.
Renae Farrow: it’s a pyramid scheme. don’t fall for it
Kathy Thomas: Good service
Andrew Siebert: Very convenient place to take our knives for sharpening. They always do a great job.Attended one of the knife skills classes and learned a lot as well.
Yvonne Baker: I am going on probably 20 years with my cutco knives and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve only sent them back for the FREE AND INCREDIBLY FAST sharpening a couple of times. They come back like they are brand new. I own 10 of them plus the pizza cutter and can’t wait to get more. Love their cutting boards too. Best knives ever!!!
Maykay Jones: I’ve owned Cutco products for years and have always loved them! They are extremely high quality and I’d never want another brand. The customer service at the St. Louis store is top notch and I can always count on them doing everything possible to get me the right products for the right price!
John T: Took 9 of my knives in today and they were sharpened quickly, now they cut better than new. The employee was extremely friendly and helpful.
Arisha Roberts: I’m in LOVE with these knifes! And the staff there are so nice and helpful! I’m definitely going back!
Marsha Graumenz: Absolutely loved the knife skills class! The instructor gave so many helpful tips to properly cut food that will make prepping dinner a lot easier! I bought my first knife and I can't wait to add more CUTCO utensils to my kitchen!
Heather Miller: This place is awesome! Went there for a knife skills class with my girls and had a great time! The manager was super nice and very informative! They will sharpen your knives for free forever! Best investment I ever made! Even better now that they have a store to visit locally!
Faith “S D” Stan: Love their cutlery

Williams-Sonoma: what do users think?
Genice Hamilton: Nice place to shop.
Ta At: It's amazing how pretentious the workers are...time after time. Everyone I know says the same thing. It's truly a shame. It should be a joyous, welcoming, pleasant experience.
Genevieve Bianco: I had a very bad experience ORDERING FURNITURE through this store and company. I placed an order for a Montauk table, early August, and 6 Stratton chairs, early Sept. I was given a window of time for delivery of Aug 2st-Sept 4 for the table and Sept 14-28 for the chairs. As these deadlines for delivery were passed of many weeks, past Sept and late into Oct, I became anxious and started contacting the store. No one there seems to have an idea of where exactly was this merchandise. I was told when I bought these items that if I purchased them through the store I would get support throughout the process. It was never the case.I initiated all my calls with the store trying to track in vain these 2 orders. I was also told when I placed my order that I would only be asked to pay the full amount balance when I actually receive these items. Capitol One, WS's bank, contacted me several times early on so I would pay the full balance within 30 days of billing or face additional charges. The only person I finally tracked down that gave me hope and a more concrete idea of where my furniture was working in contact with their delivery company. After a few more calls, this person tracked my table which came late October. Unfortunately, when it was finally delivered the legs weren't the same size! The table was lopsided!!! I cancelled my order and got a refund 3 weeks later after again initiating many calls with WS and with Capitol One. Throughout this process the manager of the WS store in Frontenac, Annalise, was hardly ever available or supportive. Her assistant manager was a bit more helpful and kind but not able to help much either with a concrete answer on the way to better track my furniture. What bother me the most in this experience is when I found out that WS (as well as PB it seems, same company) keeps placing orders while giving false delivery times to their customers in the hope that most of these people will keep their orders. These delivery times are not respected, not in my case, and not in the case of many other people I heard from who had a similar experience with this company that appears too big to be able to keep track of anything. On a last note, after finally getting my refund, I received several calls and texts early November (11/ 9) informing me that my chairs (not the table yet) were ready for delivery!!!
Jesse Ledford: They have the best fresh delicious Chicken burgers and beef burger, new employees/ owners are very professional and care about customers. Food is cooked right after you order. Awesome food and great service. I will be back.
Wade Myers: Just browsing.
Bob E: Everything for the kitchen, you name it they have it. Associate help beyond compare.
Stephanie Carlson: Good selection of wonderful items—hard to leave without buying something . The staff is extremely knowledgeable and customer focused. Always a good experience!
David Landesman: Horrible customer service. I tried to return DEFECTIVE Williams-Sonoma coffee capsules and they won't take them back. Even though 3 of the 4 boxes I bought are unopened and I have the in-store receipt and tried to return the next day. They do not work in the Nespresso as advertised, as these are their "compostable" capsules...water only drips through. Ugh.WS does not stand behind their products.
Bryan Monaco: I needed a Spritz cookie gun at short notice... They had it in stock. Cookie emergency avoided.
C Pope: I'm a longtime fan of Williams-Sonoma. I bought the copper core All-Clad pan set from them almost 10 years ago and I'm as delighted with them today as I was the day I bought them. They carry a wide range of high-quality appliances and kitchen tools. The employees are helpful and friendly. Their store is located upstairs on the second level of the mall which is accessible by escalator or elevator. There is enough room inside the store to navigate with an assist device such as a walker or wheelchair, but there are a few areas that would be a tight fit. I saw no other barriers. If you love to cook, you will love this store!
Kayla M: Too crowded. Need a bigger store space badly. Almost impossible to push my stroller so I feel very confident it would be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair.
Nancy Follett: Was friendly returned what was ordered on line got wrong color and they couldn't change before shipping cost more because of tax base.
Sir Lyrchez: Nothing beats da chevy
Kristina Nichols: Pretty nice but not as much selection as other W&S I have been to in other cities
Bon Jour Kitten: Went in for Nespresso Vertuo pods, which this store didn't carry, but left with a nifty gravy boat, a Nordic wear bundt pan, and crepe mix. Friendly associates were attentive but not pushy. Went out of their way to find a box for gravy boat, and to find the crepe mix( if it were a snake, we would've been bitten!) we love. Love a store where you are acknowledged but allowed to shop on your own without hovering. Always lovely things at Wms -Sonoma.
Deborah Small: The customer service at WS has really gone down hill! I ordered an All-Clad pan in early December. The item was supposed to arrive just after Christmas. It did not arrive until Feb. 6 and when it did, the saucier was missing a lid. We returned the item with their assurance it would promptly be replaced. On April 10th, we received the wrong item! I called again and was told they would ship a replacement. Today, I decided to check on the status and found out the item had been cancelled. No communication, no refund, nothing! I've spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this situation with no luck. Tomorrow, I'll try our local store. Will no longer shop at WS!
April Bryant: So many cool gadgets I didn't know I needed
Mike Hueter: Excellent service!
Dean Gramlick: Great place to shop for your baking/cooking needs. Friendly staff, a joy for foodies.
Steven Costa: Great service
S Schoettler: It's a pleasant place to visit. They have some nice items for kitchen.
