U.S. Customs & Border Protection: what do users think?
Kourosh Nakhaei: Super easy process! I was interviewed by a kind gentleman named officer Monroe and it took less than 10 minutes. The easiest way to do it, is by going to CBP One app and signing up. You would need to make an appointment past noon on Fridays and just show up with your passport, drivers license and a proof of your residence.
Susan thomas: If they ever give an appointment, i could give them a real review! You call and there's a cranky woman who tells you to check from 12-6 on Wednesday and Friday for an appointment! They must all sit on their phones all day. How do people think of ways to make things the least user friendly as possible? Other places have allotted times, and you pick a time.

CBP Global Entry Enrollment Center: what do users think?
T. Jones: Office now located 4349 Woodson Road. Across from Airport, not at airport. Easier to find. Plenty of free parking.
Ryan: Friendly, helpful officers.
Joss P: Tldr, go anyway if your appointment gets cancelled. They can likely take you as a walk-in1 star due to the stressful morning, and gain 1 star back from the good experience I had with the agent.I got an email on the morning of my appointment that it was cancelled. Keep in mind that these get scheduled months in advance, and the next available one wasn't for 4 months. Crazy!I try to get in contact with the office to reschedule since the cancellation email says to call to reschedule and I can't reach anyone. Pressing numbers through a menu only to get voice mail; I try for about an hour and a half to talk to a person (no luck), and then I was getting close to my original appointment. Time is up.I decide to go anyway, and THANK GOODNESS I did. The agent that was there apologized since apparently the guy doing appointments decided he wasn't doing any appointments that day and didn't reassigning any of his scheduled appointments. Wow! The agent that was there did my interview and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. Painless process once I was there in person, agonizing up until then.
CHRIS ATHANASIADIS: I’m trying to have an appointment and I can’t get a hold of anyone so far
Rachel Heeb: I just wasted an entire morning waiting for my scheduled interview appointment, which NEVER HAPPENED. The waiting area has absolutely no signage, no instructions on what to do once you've arrived, and if you call the number posted, no one picks up. I even left a voicemail. Just like another reviewer has commented, I had to ask a janitor if I was in the right place and why I had waited for over 30 minutes with no one answering. I started knocking on doors, calling the number (again) and leaving a voicemail. Nothing. I had to ask another employee who walked into the office area why no one had come to interview me, and she only responded that the officers behind the office doors may be running behind and that I was to please wait and they would be out to get me shortly. I waited for another 20 minutes and gave up. What an absolute joke.
Sandy M: Office was easy to find outside Southwest Airlines baggage claim. Officer Jesse was courteous and helpful. Thank you!
Alan S: Officer Davis made the interview process very pleasant and graciously shared his wealth of knowledge and advice.
S C (FS01): It’s not often I’m compelled to give a favorable review to a government office, but my experience with CBP today couldn’t have been better. I was in and out quickly, they were very friendly, and they helped me with everything I needed, even though I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been. Thank you CBP - St Louis for your professionalism and your help.
Joseph Romine: If these are the people keeping our skies and country safe, I am scared. We have been trying to get a global entry interview for over a year. They cancel scheduled appointments, or worse, just don’t show up. Last time we waited for more than an hour past the appointment time. No one was there. When we call to reschedule, no one answers. Just now someone picked up and immediately hung up on me. The global entry area at the airport has no instructions for people who arrive for the interview. When I went, I had to ask a janitor what to do. He told me to go find the red phone in the corner. The red phone had a tiny printed note next to it saying not to use the red phone, just sit down and someone would eventually come find you. It reminded me of an “escape the room” game…
Rylund Lewis: The biggest challenge one might have, if flying into STL (as I did), is locate the center. My pathing was:Exit security and head toward baggage claim. From here look for signs of ‘international arrivals’, which is off to your right as you head down the stairs into baggage claim. You’ll then find a hand drawn sign indicating that you are in the right area. Head down a long hallway and then wait for your appointment in an area with row seating.Getting to this appointment was the hard part. Interviewing was fairly clean/straight forward and the security officer was friendly and easy to talk to. By the time I made it back through security I had an email showing that my Global Entry was approved.
Nadi B: My global entry interview went very well, and the officer was really friendly. I gave this center a 4 star because it was hard to find and no one picks up the phone when calling the number on the website. I ended up have to ask for assistance twice. FYI, as of 2/2/21, the global entry section is located in terminal 2, near the baggage claim section, at door number 16. You can either exit at door 14 to walk to that part of the building or use a hidden walkway in the back corner of the baggage claim section to get there. Find the red phone, and read the instructions.
Karyn Houston: Global entry folks NEVER answer their phones even when given an ext number. Their hours are not listed on their doors. The St. Louis location has changed and not updated on the website. Very very frustrating trying to get a person on the phone anywhere with this agency.
