J: I got acquainted with Blue Mercury while living in the CWE. My favorite person was the Store Manager Hannah I believe that's what her name was? We just always hit it off and she gave me so many suggestions and advice about skincare. She really got me into Skinceuticals and M-61. I sure miss not seeing her anymore since I moved to Nashville with work. I loved going into that store and looking around....it was my favorite place to go and I always ran into her. She always seemed to know what I needed and what I was looking for! She is the best in the cosmetics industry in my opinion. She will go far in her career!!!

That was a week ago, and ever since, my lips have been extremely dry and inflamed with multiple cracks. I still can't wrap my head around what she was thinking when she did that.. on top of that, I spent close to 500 dollars, just to feel like this in the end.. never again will I go back there.

Linda Sellan: I know that Brick & Mortar have been doing it hard and I’ve been trying to shop in my neighborhood to support local businesses. I visited the Maryland location Mar 27 @4pm and it first the shop assistant was friendly and helpful with the Trish McEvoy line. I finished selecting my palettes. All was going well until another customer came in and asked them if they needed help. They did she excused herself and then proceeded to help them leaving me hanging. I was about to purchase ~$300 worth of product. I approached her and said if she was busy I would come back. Another associate approached me to assist but had to start from scratch to show him the products I selected. By this time I was put off by the poor service - why would you leave a customer on the middle of a sale? I politely thanked the guy who stepped in but said I would not complete my purchase amd would not return to this store . Very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend folks to shop here.

The employees were very friendly and helpful and got me exactly what I was looking for. Love the extra goodies they put in the bag to sample too. R Cusick: This will forever be the location I visit for LUSH products. Staff were super helpful without being pushy or upselling me. Got a rainbow bath bomb and a shower gel (Olive Branch) that I used to use almost 20 years ago when I lived in Colorado. The smell took me back immediately! A member of the staff was also taking a phone call from someone who had a concern (I think about whether a bath bomb would dye their tub) and they did a great job reassuring the person.

He gave just the right amount of attention, letting me look around but made sure to check in with me. I loved talking with him about the store, and he was very knowledgeable about the products as well. He gave me some suggestions and let me wash my hands with one of the soap samples I was interested in. At the cash wrap he gave me a free sample and told me all the info on it. It was a very pleasant visit, so glad I decided to stop in! I will definitely be back for more product and hopefully more good vibes from Sean!

My friend and I drove 3.5 hours from KC to STL for a concert and really wanted to stop by Lush since we have been bullied by our local Lush. The other employees in store (I apologize for not getting their names) were also absolutely amazing and happy to help us. This store is extremely well kept and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt like we left the store with new friends. This is the exact type of interaction I expect when I walk into Lush and I was not disappointed. It was such a wonderful experience and a breath of fresh air compared to my local location. The selection of bath bombs was incredible and I left feeling super excited about the gifts I purchased (the lucky cat bath bar is stunning and toby’ magic, the rainbow cow looks amazing!). My fiancé loved everything I got and further cemented our love for all things lush!

Ellen Liverpool: I've been here twice and and I waited at least 20 minutes each time before a non-MAC employee had to help me. I have yet to encounter a MAC employee actually present at the counter. Luckily I knew what I needed and a Macy's employee was able to ring me up. But these employees are extremely unprofessional. If you want to buy something from this MAC, be prepared to know what you want because someone may not be there to help you.

Hannah Ngugi: Yesterday(8/23/16), I went to the location inside of Nordstrom's at the St. Louis Galleria Mall. First, I should say that I'm a plus sized, very pregnant mother, who was shopping with my four year old daughter as well. Also, I don't typically go to the mall in full face with daughter, only if I'm with my husband or friends. Anyway, though I try to look semi presentable and not like a frumpy mom machine, I am often profiled in make up and clothing stores because of my size or look. Based on this, there are certain stores that I avoid because of horrible customer service. Before I went to MAC, I had gone to Sephora. While I was there, I was not greeted, and once I was, I wasn't actually greeted, I was immediately offered make up tips. When I politely refused, I was basically made fun of by two store associates there. Feeling terrible, I left. Next, my daughter and I went to MAC, and we were greeted by Kenadie Crossley. I told her the type of product I was looking for, and she had me sit down to try and match my skin tone. Another sales associate walked up, watched and chatted with us for a moment, but I didn't catch her name. Anyway, being pregnant and hormonal and having those ladies actually being nice to me, my eyes welled up with tears. It was so refreshing to just be able to SHOP, and not feel judged or unwelcome. The girls helped me regain my composure, and Kenadie had me sit back down and showed me more products and unique ways to use them with my facial features. She was very personable and chatted with me while she helped me. When she was done, I was amazed at how I looked, and I felt more confident. I purchased several products, and Kenadie gave me her card offering tips anytime I need them, and help with future purchases. I will NEVER shop at Sephora again. I'm ride or die MAC now...lol. Basically, I wanted to point out her beyond excellence customer service. Like REALLY STELLAR niceness, and extensive product knowledge. She 180'd my day, and I will not forget that experience for a long time. I also plan to share this in as many online outlets as I can.

Anna: I walked in with only the intention of smelling stuff and walked out with $50 of stuff - the woman working there (I forgot her name) knows DAMN WELL how to do her job!! Neither my friend and I our local - she told us where to go while we are in STL and where to get our ears pierced since we mentioned it. She was so kind and helpful, and she knew what she was talking about. I bought a tea tree oil cream that helps remove dead skin and now my skin is as soft as a baby’s. 10/10 recommend - I wish I lived next to one!!

Kerri O'Hare: I went to this Body Shop as I have been using their tea tree products for years. I have recently immigrated from Ireland and was looking for a specific product that doesn't appear to be online at the US site (I am still unsure if this is a definite thing or whether it is just seasonally out of stock) and was also browsing for a gift. I was treated so rudely by multiple staff members at this location. Firstly, they wouldn't allow me into the store with my mum and sister, despite no one else except for the three staff members present (?close your store if you are worried about contracting COVID). They asked me to then describe what I wanted from the door way and they would bring it to me. I said that wouldn't do, I was shopping in person to browse the items. I was then told that there would be no browsing, no touching of items, and there was certainly no testing of items (not that I wanted to anyways). The words literally were used "you need to give up control" of this shopping experience. Like what?! No pleasantries, no "let me help you". When my 70 year old mother approached me at the front of the store they angrily told her to get back. At this point I had had enough. Not worth the stress. They seriously need to review customer service at this location.

I was immediately greeted by an associate and elaborated with some ideas I already had in mind. Items I chose were the Tahitian Massage oil (which is low in fragrance) and the Tea Tree Oil day/night mask combo (which is great for sensitive skin). After two different stores, third time was the charm!Friendly staff, accommodating, great gift ideas, and you get a rewards card with them if you’re a new shopper.
