Elisabeth Bird: DO NOT COME HERE. i came trying to save money as a low income individual. i’m young and didn’t realize i’d be charged $99 for a contact exam (thinking it was the same as the free exam with 2 pairs glasses), and nobody bothered to mention it to me. i paid so much out of pocket and was sent home with the worst, most uncomfortable contacts i’ve ever worn. even brand new ones are painful in my eyes. also, i had to call for updates on the glasses i ordered, nobody told me that they had finally come in (two and a half weeks after ordering). i would possibly wish americas best on my worst enemy just to watch them suffer for terrible prices

Shimi's Life: I used to recommend this place because of the service, but each year over the past 5 years my feelings about this location have changed. I have been here for over an hour because people don't know how to do their job. Smh ridiculous! And that includes the physician! Smh
James Hill: I have had constant problems w them. First they did not except my insurance so then why am I paying for it. I work a busy schedule 12 hour days w few off and when I'm running 15 mins late instead of calling me they automatically cancel. We all have busy lives and no one is perfect but the lack of customer service skills in this world gives me little hope. In my business I understand ppl run late and rather than shew them away I have the decency to work w them and try to help instead of say I know your busy but I don't know how to do a job and help you out but you can reschedule for another time in your busy work week to accommodate us. Zero stars if I could.

Juan Villa Torrecilla: Awful service, don’t recommend this place at all. They damaged my wife’s lenses while they were fixing the frame. Two weeks to get new lenses. Then they were too big for the frame so another two weeks to get smaller lenses. At the end No other option, more than a month without glasses due to a mistake they made. They told us at the very beginning than in a couple of days the lenses would be fixed. Horrible service
Caleb Martonfi: Truly the best eye care experience I’ve ever had. Setting up an appointment was easy, and America’s Best reminded me in advance. Checking in was a breeze, and the eye exam was so streamlined. The optometrist was super friendly and answered all of my questions. There are lots of great eyeglasses to choose from, and Mel went above and beyond in helping me pick out a pair and decide on upgrades. Robynn was extremely helpful while I was picking up the glasses. I felt supported through the whole process, and the eyeglasses arrived in 5 business days! I was sent a message to come pick them up. My new glasses have given me a new perspective on life, literally :) Overall, fantastic experience. America’s Best is truly America’s best thanks to the wonderful employees who work there.

Sean Noll: So, not an expert in glasses shopping - most of my experience is at Costco or Sams. I lost my glasses and needed replacements fast. America's Best got me in the next day. The visit with the optometrist was great - she was as good as any eye doctor I've seen. The time with the glass tech was easy and no pressure too. I wound up spending a bit more out of pocket (on top of my vision plan), but nothing obscene. About $250 out of pocket, but loaded up with VERY nice Nike frames and lenses with all the gizzmos I need/want. All in all, very pleased.

Ray Fitzgerald: . Do not buy contacts here. I seen the eye doctor and was given the wrong prescription and was told to wear them for a few weeks, Because it would take time for my eyes to get used to them. When my eyes did not get used to them we figured out that he did not prescribe for my astigmatism. So I needed to be re-prescribed for astigmatism and have my previous prescription returned or exchanged.I brought them in to be returned and I was told to hold onto them until the doctor gave me my new prescription and exchange them. It took a month to get my new prescription because they had to be special ordered.When I went to exchange the previous prescription for the new one I found out the new prescription was going to be quite a bit more expensive and that it was going to cost almost twice as much as I would pay online. I asked to return the previous prescription instead and they told me I could not because it had been too long even though they are the ones who told me not to return them previously and to hold onto them until I got the new prescription. Long story short I ended up paying $196 more for two boxes than I should have.Take away get your prescription here if you want but don’t order your contacts from them. Go online and order them. Don’t trust them if they tell you to hold onto your previous order until they get it right. It’s a scam. I thought Walmart was better then this.

Daniel Reed: I had a situation today that required immediate attention, due to the fact that my friend had run out of her daily wear lenses without realizing it. Ordering online meant she wouldn't have any lenses for another 3-5 days. She normally gets her lenses from LensCrafters, but they didn't have any of her lenses in stock - so I went to Walmart Vision Center at Shrewsbury where Toni and Ashley helped me not only get 5 of her daily wear lenses as samples, but also ordered a box of her lenses at a cost that was less than LensCrafters, and less than what my friend normally pays online. To top it off, Toni and Ashley were very friendly and extremely helpful in getting her prescription from LensCrafters (which wasn't easy) and filling my order as quickly as they could. Thanks Toni, Ashely, and Walmart Shrewsbury!!!

I called to inquire about lenses, she had no idea of the pricing first of all, acted like it was pulling teeth to get a price, then takes several minutes to look up the pricing and when she told me it was triple the price as any other store, she tells me they're a franchise location. She said the franchise CEO sets the pricing. Well, whoever the CEO is, he or she is greedy as it gets. The pricing is stupid as it drives business away from the store. This is the 164th review, their should be 10,000+ reviews but people don't leave many because no many are buying from this store. FYI you can easily find the same product 10 x's cheaper almost anywhere.

At my recent visit I was greeted by three new employees who went above and beyond in their customer service. Mary Cosgrove: The optometrist - Dr. Kovacs - is obviously very skilled and thorough. He was also adept at communicating during and after the exam, in terminology that I could easily understand (which is rare). I also appreciated the friendly front desk staff, and the efficient scheduling system that enabled me to set up an appointment online. This is my first visit, and I'll definitely be coming back. How about with my permission and convenience you go ahead and do that, they're glasses! If my doctor can email me and my children's school, so can Crown. Ridiculous, now you lost three customers.

Michelle Salois: have been going here for years. very competent and kind optometrist(s) and staff. always willing to make it over if it needs to be (my eyes change mysteriously). oh, and the price is RIGHT

Best Brands Perfume: Huge selection of everything glasses related , contacts, eye exams, solutions, mini screw kits, wrangler, Stetson,, Adolfo, Milano, new balance, Pierre Cardin, lens wipes, very friendly staff and eye exam was superb with the smartest doctor, and the price was only sixty dollars for the exam. The wait time was only ten minutes.
Corey Boyles: I scheduled a 6 o'clock appointment. Showed up at literally 6:03. The doctor had already left by the time I got there. The staff rudely told me to call ahead if I was going to be late. They also said my appointment was at 5:50, which was not even an available time when I scheduled it (6 was the only available time).

Yolanda Wilder (Brownnsatin): Beware America. Apparently walmart feels that cleaning their lot at night is a wonderful thing to do. If you pull up on their parking lot and damage your vehicle because their lot is filled with debris from left over bottles and glass they don't care. When you alert them that there is an issue they don't even bother to come out to view for themselves what the problem really is. If I damage my tire from your company not keeping the lot cleaned and you offer tire service why would you not at the very least offer to repair my tire. Your uncleaned lot causes me damage and your too inconsiderate to check into what I'm saying. Why would anyone continue to shop there. I already don't go often because they stopped lay-a-way, and now we will no longer shop there under any circumstances. If you ever need to fill a complaint about store, you really have to hunt down the corporate number. When you let them know how you were treated, they don't care either. This is one situation I hope no one else has to live.
