Simon Recreation Center: what do users think?
Ana Mort: I like this gym however the hygiene is poor. I feel like I inhale a cloud of dust when I squat at the squat racks. Best part is when my airpod falls and dust covers the whole thing. The ripped padding of the machines hasn’t been changed. MRSA 😍
Freddie Lopez: THE HOT TUB IS ALWAYS BROKEN. THE SAUNA HAS SPLINTERS ON THE BENCHES. THE SHOWERS HALF THEM DONT WORK. WHY ???? Tuition 73000 per student. Why don’t u take care of your gym and your students. Do better !!

Jim Zavist: Nice place in a nice suburban city.
James Meneely: Nice, big, perfect
Deb Ritchey: We attended a trivia night in the lower level of the community center. Large facility. They protected the gymnasium floor and it was easy to walk on. Lots of electrical outlets. Lots of exercise equipment. Shower facilities in lower level. Only two restroom stalls for women. Clean. Friendly staff to greet you.
Frank Merz: very clean with great equipment and a friendly staff
N M: I rented a room for small baby shower. We used their projector to Zoom in several other people. The facility and the staff were great. Ryan was super to work with--accessible, knowledgeable, and very helpful, especially in these Covid times. Doug was kind and helpful on the day of shower. Other people at the entrance desk were very polite whenever I stopped by. I'd definitely use the facility again!

The J - St. Louis Fitness & Community Center: what do users think?
Olivia Faith: Was a member for several years and LOVED the exercise classes. The beginning classes were all very inclusive for all levels so it was a great place to really get started.I don’t have kids but enjoyed it all the same!
Kailey Parks: This is a beautiful facility and I wish I lived closer and could take advantage of it! I attended a book tour/signing held in the gymnasium, but had the opportunity to walk through the gym as well. It's clean, well maintained, and has tons and tons of workout equipment of all kinds - the most well-appointed gym I have ever visited.
Zach M: Very polite staff! Picked this location because of proximity, but the classes they offer are worth every penny!
Giti Fredman: I rented space at the J for a community event and had such a wonderful experience! Isaac and his team were friendly, communicative, and so so accommodating! Our event went smoothly because of their professionalism! We will definitely rent space at the J in the future! Thanks again!
Ken Hirsch: Generally summer is the worst time at the J if you're wanting to use the gymnasium or pool facilities, as preference is given to groups mainly consisting of non-members, and little consideration given to members that pay the premium membership fees. Considering a move to a gym that is a little more focused on providing a higher level of service to paying members.Overall it's decent facility, but if you're joining to have swimming as part of your workout beware. Schedules are often mismanaged, and getting kicked out of the pool in the middle of workouts so that unscheduled groups can take over is common place. Six times in one summer I've driven over to the J and either haven't gotten a full workout or, have been unable to workout at all in the pool due to pool mismanagement or incorrect schedules being posted online. Several hours of multiple days per week, either one or no lanes are available to lap swimmers. Member Services does little to help or make to make things right. Just way to expensive for this level of service.
Alex: My girlfriend has experienced racism towards her at the J, she's fed up with it and canceled her membership. Seems like other members can't be a decent human being and other parents are teaching their kids to be racist as well because they don't get it out of nowhere unless it's someone close to them.
J Deh: I’ve been a member of The J for a few years. It’s a great gym in a lot of ways. There’s a decent selection of equipment that seems to be well-maintained. I also like the squash courts and the indoor and outdoor pools. I also worked with a trainer for a while and he was excellent. Something I particularly like about The J is that it is truly accepting and welcoming of everyone. The annoying part: There seems to just be one schedule posted online (at least that I can find) for each pool. It shows the general hours of the pool, but does not show changes to that schedule (e.g. pool unavailable due to a special event). Since I can’t find this info online, I need to call The J and ask if the indoor pools are open and available for use. It is maddeningly difficult to get a correct answer on this. For instance, I’ve called The J three separate times this weekend to check if the indoor pool was indeed open for use, and all three times I was told the wrong information. I wouldn’t leave this review after one off weekend, but this has been an issue over the past few years.
Ed R: Great gym - terrible policies. One ‘mask hour’ per day? Please use some common sense when creating rules. Is one hour supposed to ‘stop the spread’?The J tries to be an extremely woke company, yet it ignores common sense and reality..Don’t join unless you want early closures on Fridays (6pm) and policies that help the minority of gym goers.
Jeffrey Lerner: Great facility for exercising, nice swimming pool in and out, clean facility with nice showers hot tubs sauna. Always activities and a beautiful gym to play basketball, badminton, pickleball , volleyball. Starting pickleball again check the times. They now take renew active for membership dues..
Deb Harris: Love being a member. New machines are great.
Maryann Griffin: Great experience
Terry Green: Great friendly staff. This place is full of things to do. The inside pool is wonderful. The kids had a great time too. This is a place has something for everyone.
Sadiya Ahmad: Best place
Tracey L Simmons: Very family oriented facility for all your family's athletic needs
Avilala Kumar: Good ambient and sprawling space
Cody Vasel: I love the atmosphere of the J but the front desk lady has always had a attitude about anything. I have gotten yelled at for numerous reason that wasn't nothing to yell at she is not people friendly and denied money to your business....
Daniela Stoilova: I enjoy going in the J.
Kevin Boyd: I was accused of taking pics of people when I was only on FB, my phone flashes when I get a call or a text, a email or a hit on FB and a employee says he was watching me on camera taking pictures, there is nobody there that I would want to take a picture of, he should have asked me instead of accusing me
Леонид Грановский: Супер, больше нет слов
John Lister: We visited for the Book Fair! Good selection and prices!
S.E. Hughes: We visited this establishment for a member's birthday party. I love the pool area, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the facilities were absolutely amazing.

Wohl Center: what do users think?
Abbie Walton: I grew up in this community center. It was in our neighborhood, right down the street from my school, Benton. Back in the day all 6th graders had to take swimming class for gym in 1968. Mr. Sykes was our instructor. We would walk there and back, it was so much fun. And we also had our Girls Basketball Ball Games there against other public schools. Now I'm blessed to see my Grandson play Basketball Ball there also. He plays for Team Tatum. What a blessing that it is still supporting our community all these years later.
