Del Valine: Our chimney needed the flue replaced. This required removing original flue tiles and replacing with stainless steel one piece 11 inch tube. The smoke shelf had to be reconfigured and a new damper installed. Omar and his son from the Chimney Sweep Experts were very knowledgeable and did the job in a timely manner. They were incredible careful to keep our white carpeting and surrounding areas very clean. When they finished, no additional cleaning was required. Since we have a slate roof, so many other companies quoted us ASTRONOMICAL prices or wouldn't even do the work altogether. I was given a quote which contained all information and they made sure my questions were answered. The service provided was quick, competent and handled my issue. Melinda Haskins: Horrible! I called this company about 4 years ago for an inspection and Dave along with 2 other guys came out. This was just an inspection and he told me my chimney needed to be torn down and rebuilt, they could start right now. That was before he even entered my home. I told him I needed to talk to my partner and he was trying to talk me into the sale and kept pushing me to let him and those 2 guys do it now. I declined. I called another reputable company out and the only thing I needed was a screen, they provided it for me. My chimney is fine. I called them again for a rental property not remembering at the time they were the con artists that I had come to my home. They gave the exact same “this chimney needs to be torn down “spill that they gave 4 years ago. I called their office and of course nothing happened. These scare tactics that carry so much urgency is their bread and butter. I do not recommend this company for anything.

I called Monday and spoke with Cindy to schedule an estimate for a partial chimney stack removal on Thursday. I received a call about 1:15 Wednesday from David letting me know he was in the area and could take a look at it, then call me back with his assessment of my situation. He quickly called me back to tell me he didn't think it was bad enough to remove the stack and that it would cost me less to just fix it. He told me the work to be done and how much it would cost, and to my surprise, that he could have Jason do it right then! We agreed to the entire transaction over the phone, and within the hour, I was receiving pictures over my phone from Jason showing the 'Before' and 'After' pictures. He did a great job! I am sooo satisfied with the workmanship, and the overall process. When they arrived they did not have a mask, I asked them could they wear a mask due to covid and me having a new born baby. The drive said that he has lung problems and walked away. He didn't try to find a different solution or send another worker. He walked away while I was speaking. He was very rude and unprofessional.

Jason Lamkin: Called to clear a possible blockage of chimney. Just taking a quick look he said he would have to install a new liner and said it will be $1500 and just left. Upon calling around to several experienced companies they said that my lining could be cleaned without destroying it. A few days later a company came out and took apart the flue going to the chimney and said that the lining looked good and that the other company (archway)didn’t even bother to look.The obstruction was sitting mostly at the bottom. The other company totally swept my entire chimney for $85. Definitely glad I got a second opinion.

I waited almost an hour past the time given and called to make sure everything was OK. I was told they had been at my home and some lady said no thanks through an intercom. I advise that I was the only lady at this address and no one called to confirm the address. I was then told, “I don’t know what to tell you.” He then tried to convince me that it was my home by telling me what he “thought” was in my garage. No apologies or an option to come at a later time. Should’ve known it would be a problem with the lady who set the appointment sounded confused.
