StlSitter management works really hard to satisfy both parents and sitters by leading workshops and publishing materials to both parties about how to be great babysitters and great hosts for us babysitters. This keeps everyone comfortable and content with the whole arrangement. I have met some really wonderful families through this arrangement. In addition, I have learned so many valuable skills about problem solving, communication, timeliness, and more. Again, I can't recommend StlSitter enough!!

Jennifer Backer: We have used STL Sitter about 30 times this year (roughly $300 in fees, plus their annual membership fee). I've needed the service for doctor's appointments, help with bedtime (I'm home), and the occasional date night. Most of the sitters have been great with my children. But there have been some sitters that have left the house pretty messy and that I wouldn't want as a regular sitter. I've always given the sitters that have never been to our house a pass on this because my children are very young (one and four) and I do understand it is difficult for new sitters to know each household's routines/rules. We thought a solution to this problem would be to try their summer placement ---where you have have one or two sitters at set times throughout the summer. We are expecting our third child June 5th and we had filled out a very detailed profile explaining our needs, that we were expecting a baby early in the summer via cesarean --- and that we would need help with our two younger children, including driving our son to camp, swimming etc. We still had not heard about our summer sitter as her expected start date was nearing, so I contacted the service several times to inquire when we would be finding out about our summer sitter. I was anxious for the sitter to meet our children, to get to know our routines, and to make sure I felt comfortable with her driving my son (he's only been driven by his grandparents and ourselves). I was told late on a Saturday afternoon only days before the week she was to do a trial run that she could not start as planned and could only do trial runs when I already had a doctor's appointment scheduled or at 7 am two days later. The assigned sitter did not have a profile with the service under the correct name, which later led the service to admit she had just been hired the month prior. When I called to express my disappointment and stress about the situation ---the owner said most sitters had read our profile and had not been comfortable with the assignment and that we were one of the last families assigned a sitter. I still don't understand why they didn't call earlier in the month to explain the situation so we could arrange alternate care and driving arrangements for our son. (Especially after reading our unique circumstances). She continued to insist they could meet our needs and would be happy to provide a substitute sitter for the first week and any other day the sitter was not available. I did understand that the service might need to provide substitutes on occasion --- but I did (wrongly) assume they would have the courtesy to call and explain if sitter wasn't going to be able to start right away and to give us enough time to plan alternate arrangements. ESPECIALLY, since I assume they read our profile and knew I was 8.5 months pregnant and about to have a c-section. I am definitely not comfortable letting a sitter I just met watch and drive my children (and in this case, while I'm in the hospital). She failed to understand that this was a HUGE deal two weeks before the birth of our child and was extremely defensive, abrasive and not apologetic at all. I absolutely did not want to continue using this service after my encounter with Morgan Clark, the owner. I am appalled that she would imply in her reply below that I should be embarrassed about posting negative customer reviews after the way she has treated a client. It also is disappointing she would imply there are factual errors ---when this is simply not the case. I did edit my post to omit a statement about a sitter that showed up shaking and crying after being berated by the owner in a similar way. It was not relevant to our summer sitter situation with the service. But I do think it speaks to Morgan Clark's character. I can't imagine how she would deal with a safety issue if this is how she deals with a customer service issue. I also found it insulting that she sent me the phone number for her attorney, rather than just admitting they should have been better about communicating.

The staff is great about communicating with both sitters and families to ensure that both parties are having a positive experience. I recommend STL Sitter to all of my babysitting friends as well as to families I have babysat for in years past. The Real: I am up this morning looking for daycare. I come across this daycare. I see that it’s isn’t to far from where I stay so I was happy about that! I look at the reviews and seen they had almost 5 stars so now I want to know more about the day care. I called 4 times! First time the called was picked up then hanged up! Called 2 more times and the same thing happens as if someone is just picking up and hanging up! So I called the fourth time and a lady answered I said hello and before I can say anything else she hangs up! I didn’t bother to call instead I wanted to give this daycare 0 stars! I don’t not even want to consider my son going there now! What if I was a parent calling to check on my child? I would be on my way up there because why are you picking up and hanging up? Just missed out on an adorable baby boy bring nothing but Joy!

Jason French: Wonderful teachers and owners that genuinely care about the kids. Everyone there ensures that there is a clean, safe, and great learning and play environment. I was initially nervous about sending my child to any daycare, but my child really thrived here, and enjoyed going. I never had any worries about her safety or well being. I cannot speak highly enough about this place.

Robert Domiano: This daycare is simply amazing. It is run by two very knowledgeable people whom the children love. My son runs up to the owner every day to give him a hug. They have lots of events for the toddlers, even when they are only 1 year old! There is both an indoor and an outdoor playground sized for the kids.They are also incredibly professional. There are comprehensive emergency plans, monthly payments are handled quickly and efficiently, and they provide daily information on napping, food, and diapers.The cost for Rainbow Castle is also great! It is very affordable and they include snacks and lunch in the price! I highly recommend this daycare to anyone working downtown.

Monique Hines: I noticed Omotola “review” has no clue what they are speaking of and as a long time employee (9 years) I’ve never had the pleasure of nurturing any of their children, no one with that last name or this person had any business with CEC. My child was the first student enrolled at CEC years ago and CEC is still standing because of the excellent care and education provided. Many of the babies who’s diapers I’ve changed, I had the pleasure and honor to see them graduate to kindergarten! It’s a privilege to watch them grow!

The education the children receive is top of the line and your child will leave more than ready for kindergarten.They are not very supportive or accepting of single parent households unfortunately and due to this we went elsewhere.

Marcia Piper: My family has been a part of CEC since 2016 (my then infant was 5 mo.) and I can attest, through two children (now ages 10 mo. and 3 yr.) that every staff member not only knows my children's names and personalities, but has a genuine affection for them and their developmental successes as well - which as any new parents can attest, speaks volumes of the superb care they receive. In addition, the education and daily itinerary for each child is not only appropriate, but engaging and well executed. Speaking on behalf of my family, I cannot wax poetic enough about the Director Ann, and the incredible staff she leads.

Tanya Hamilton: I LOVE CEC! The center is very diverse, The teachers and staff are incredible...so loving with my daughter and all of the other children. CEC feels like a tight knit family with such a warm environment. The kids learn so much and are taught above and beyond what kids are tested for when they enter kindergarten. There is also a PTO that you can choose to participate in, an annual Family Day picnic, Holiday play and various activities that are held throughout the year. I highly recommend Children’s Enrichment Center.

Christopher Lee: I'm surprised on how few reviews there are of this daycare. So far our experience with them has been very positive. When we walk in my baby daughter and I are always greeted with smiles and hellos. The staff seems to genuinely care for the children. It does not have all the bells and whistles, like wifi feed or anything like that, but when we were little that stuff didn't exist. I would definitely recommend this daycare.
