I'm surprised this meets the requirements of schools. Dirty, crusty, and a joke school. I've gone to this school for 7 years. Once a teacher accused me of writing a bad word (i didn't) and bullied me to admit it till I cried. This school lies about having cameras also. This school should get 0 stars.
christina edwards: I love the teachers and I love the school. The atmosphere is a loving environment. Now my kids are in elementary, so I'm not sure about the middle school part. But we have been here for three years now and I am a proud PCS parent.

In the past he's had a tough time with other kids in school because of his love for my little pony (they call him Brony or something), but the teachers here always make him feel welcome. When I pick my son up from school with a hot papa john's pizza in the car (papa bless) he always has great things to share about his day in school. I rate this school 8/8

Gloria Baker: School has an awesome academic educational approach, but their discipline and the way they treat their children when teaching them matters respect and personal growth is horrible. They expect their first graders to think and behave like fifth graders. They don't feed them when they are sent to the office, that's one of their discipline methods. And they don't have parent as teachers activities. I love to engage in my children classrooms, school and their learning experiences but the school doesn't do anything where parents can participate in fun events or activities in such areas. The Teachers talk and treat their students like prisoners. This isn't jail where student are forced to learn or behave it's an Elementary school where students should love to learn and get excited in doing so.

Ane Ane: My daughter started K at this school. The front desk staffs were sooo nice , I mean really nice. I met principal and she was sweet as well. I m sure my daughter will have a great time at this school
H C: My son studied there for four years (then spent last year overseas). We need to be fair, as a public charter school which was getting 29% less than public schools (and compared to the neighboring schools), they were all right to me.

Destini Rae: Over all, the school is pretty nice. For my 3 years of being there, I definitely had a few problems. Although, most of the staff there is great. If you get a call from your child’s teacher, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend talking to your child about it before punishing them😓. Some of the teachers that was there when I previously was a student at that school, could be a little more respectful.

David Anderson: I could give it 5 stars if it weren't for the radiation emitting cell phone tower being placed right next the school. Just think, developing young minds are being exposed to high powered radiation for over 6 hours a day. For Gods sake, it's a science academy! You'd think they would have known this already! At least test the radiation levels that are coming off of this tower.

Teachers really care about students, progress.Update:When teachers start yelling at children and school starts to mark kids present, if they are absent.... its time to move. This school is good for K-4th grade, after that go elsewhere.
Steven F: My daughter went here. We got her out. There is rampant bullying and the administration does not take action. I wouldn't be surprised if they are rigging these reviews. They have been known to do similar in the past. Good families are leaving to save their kids.

Margaret Schleicher: Teachers take time to make sure each student reaches their goals. The principal knows every student by name. They have the most coordinated drop off and pick up system of any school I've dealt with.
Nova D: I was leery of writing a review because I dislike those who only write reviews when they're negative. I will try to be balanced and fair. The academics are strong, the principal is fair and a good human being with an incredible work ethic, most of the staff are generally happy and overall I was feeling glad we found the school. The one thing that is discouraging is the prevalence (from our perspective) of negative reinforcement by teachers (not administrators). I think the teachers could use some professional development in the area of compassionate guidance and positive redirection. This would be a great school if those were more standard. I know how hard it is to be a public school teacher, at least I can only imagine, so it's hard to be too critical.
