Schiller's Camera: what do users think?
bradley robinson: I am shooting at world wide technology race for NASCAR at got jammed up left the track at lunch ran to Schiller's (thank goodness they had it in stock) worked with me on pricing, on was back to shoot the race. This is why local shops need our support - Amazon eat your heart out. Customer service likes this beats your next day delivery hands down.
Lilyth Dilks: Good selection and really friendly “salesmen”. I say that only because they don’t see like the typical salesmen. They’re just people who happened to sell me a camera. It’s perfect that way.
adam mueller: It’s kind of scary how knowledgeable every staff member is at schillers, from everything to backpacks, lenses, and everything else photography related. Their used equipment is also very nicely priced and cheaper than you can find online. Well worth checking out.
Kelly Harms: Needed work done on my Canon camera. Very thorough and professional with excellent customer service!
Keagan Roberson: The store always has a great selection of high quality products and a ton of of employees to help. However, I’ve been in 3 or 4 times over the past two months and each time have noticed the abysmal costumer service. The employees are rude, non conversation, and condescending. I understand everyone has bad days but the poor behavior of the staff has become a trend and not an anomaly.Update: The owner called me within 1 hour of posting and apologized which means a lot. Going to go back and give them another chance!
Colin Haggerty: Normally fast and friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. Sometimes they get busy though so plan ahead.
Joshua Carbaugh: Knowledgeable and friendly staff. My go-to for camera equipment
Matthew Carson: I’ve always given my business to Schillers. The last two times I have been there. The men behind the counter are very condescending and rude. They like to talk to younger folks like they are their children. No one is it to that. Just let those people know it’s just plain rude.
Blush Stl: There hasn’t been one time that I’ve been into a Schillers and they haven’t been condescending or rude to me. I don’t know why I keep going back. Probably because it’s the only camera shop around they don’t deserve the clientele. They get the way they treat a lot of people I’ve seen and myself.
Michelle Hayes: Perfect place for quick posters!
bill evans: On December 23rd 2022 my wife and I punched a Canon EOS R10 with lens. We love our new camera. I had a simple question and Paul was able to help me over the phone awesome service!! Thanks again!!!
Jacquie Bird: I picked up a used lense today and Matt McFerron assisted me. He was very knowledgeable.
Thomas Kim: These guys are absolute pros - lovely shop full of incredibly knowledged and nice people. Special shout-out to Matt who took care of me and shed a light into his wonderful knowledge of cameras. Treated this out of towner with care and kindness! Also, per his rec, checked out Gus’ fried chicken down the road. Phenomenal chicken, please pass on the word @schillers that he should go visit it asap!
Karen Zelle: Perfect store! Great products and knowledgeable sales team. Expert instructors who help create a photography community.
Naima Sidiqi: Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Hannah McDaniel: Just visited for my first time to get film developed after having some unfortunate issues with Walgreens development. After only one visit I can’t say enough great things about Schillers!!! The employees are helpful, friendly, and educated on all things camera and photo. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to develop film. Turnaround time is quick because they can develop on site!!!! Good work Schillers :)))
Jessica Garland: I took a camera class today with Paul, and he was so informative, using analogies and phrases that I could understand in order to help me “move past auto” and take control of the quality of my pictures. Thanks, Paul! Awesome presentation! Schiller’s has always been and will continue to be my go-to for anything camera related!
Henry David: As a photographer who is getting started in the world of film photography, Schillers has been an excellent resource, helping me find the right cameras and lenses for my purposes. The staff are very knowledgeable and clearly care about their products and services.
Samuel Wright: Schiller's Camera staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I was greeted quickly with offer to help. Service is very good. Product selection very good.
Melody Holland: Have had great experiences renting equipment here and great service upfront, but when I called with a question about repair, the lady I was speaking to in that department was extremely rude in attitude and manner, and even hung up on me. Customer service could definitely use some work.
Mike Noonan: Took an older film camera to them to see if they could tell me why the shutter wouldn't drop. Jim, who it appears is the resident expert, made sure it wasn't something simple, which I had already done, and handed it back to me and said "its broke". No suggestions, no asking me if I was interested in anything else. The younger kid behind the counter was as helpful as he could be but I expected more out of a shop like this in the customer service area.

The Photo Pros & St. Louis School of Photography! - Formerly Creve Coeur Camera: what do users think?
Christel Vogt: No more buying from the other camera store or online. I feel like small camera stores have one major advantage over online stores and that is customer service. If you don't have great customer service, there's no reason for me not to order online and not have to make a 45 minute drive. I haven't found a camera store that has near the great customer service that this place has. Been in twice and had nothing but great interactions from 3 different employees so far. Way to go! I can be intimidated very easily and I haven't felt that at all!
James C: Owned by the same dishonest and arrogant guy who ran Creve Couer Camera out of business. You'll get better instruction for better prices from literally anyone other than this creep and the people who stuck with him. At CCC they regularly told staff to lie to customers about what they had in stock and when more would be coming. Looks like they're still doing that here too. Avoid this place. There are MUCH better options for every single thing this business offersEdit to reply to their comment: what does not knowing who I am have to do with anything? And you know exactly what I'm referring to. This company is owned by S.W., who is dishonest and sleazy.
Marvin Spaur: Enjoy working with Photo Pros and St Louis School of Photography! Highly recommend!
Kevin Townsend: went to Stephen about a year ago for a new camera for an upcoming trip to Iceland. He recommended an Olympus camera (specifically the EM-5 MK III). Couldn’t have been a better recommendation. The pictures turned out amazing and it faired perfectly in the harsh Icelandic weather. I also went here to get my pictures printed (did the metal prints) and they turned out great. Stephen was extremely helpful throughout the process and even helped me pick the best pictures. The whole staff is great. Not only do they have the most knowledgeable staff, but they provide the personalized service you only get with a small business. I would highly recommend them for any of your photography needs whether it be hobby (like me), or professional, and would definitely recommend any Olympus camera.
Jeff Dollins: Steve the owner is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge. He is willing to help anyone with any kind of camera or photo problem. His staff are all friendly and knowledgeable as well. I’m taking the photography bootcamp 101 course and it’s an absolute bargain for the amount of instruction and level of help that’s provided. Their store is well stocked with the very best photography equipment and supplies and it’s all priced extremely even beating the big online retailers pricing.. Can’t say enough good things about this place. So happy to have found it!
Arslan Babar: Owner’s attitude is unprofessional.
Lisa & Peter Satterly & Graf: I have learned so much from everyone at The Photo Pros & St. Louis. My first experience was the Buttons, Dials, and Levers with Sam who was a fantastic instructor. My second experience was senior shoot with Stephen and Dave, both taught at every level and shared their knowledge. I took private sessions for classes with Stephen twice. Stephen gives it to you straight but you pay for that learning, experience, professional information, and it truly is helpful. The store manager Mark, is so nice and helpful with equipment. I highly recommend the classes, tours, trips, and store.
Rachel Shelton: I enjoyed the privilege of getting a private photography lesson from Stephen. I own a small business and wanted to take better and more engaging photos of my product. Stephen came to my home and showed me exactly how to improve my set up and improve the quality of my photographs. He also shared inspiring ideas on how I can increase my sales and improve my business. It was a very great experience, and I would highly recommend This group. I am very careful where I spend my money as I am a small business owner, but I definitely consider the fee I paid for this private one on one lesson to be worth every dollar and I am certain that it will yield a very big return in my business is future. Thank you kindly.
Andrew Overbey: Good local place to buy supplies for photo shoots, easy access for me since my office is up the road.
Vicki Whelan: I’ve attended classes & trips with The Photo Pros for the past few years. They have helped take my photography to a new level. The instructors are awesome. Each sharing their knowledge with their own creative style. No matter what your skill level, beginner to pro, there is something for everyone here. Plus, it’s just fun😃📸
Nancy Williams: Stephen Weiss of The Photo Pros is extremely knowledgeable in photography! His passion and experience are invaluable in recommending gear, teaching photography, and leading photo trips! And he’s a nice guy!
Daniel Buckenmyer: Excellent knowledge, love to share it with photographers and help create solid foundations that people can build their craft on.
Rodney Yoswig: Not a bad store for someone starting out in photography. Has entry level through pro gear, more than enough lighting, cameras and accessories to get you going.
Darrel58: Excellent! The staff is so helpful and friendly.
Kathleen Wyatt: Kind and helpful staff!!
Jay Baumohl: I find camera and photography to sometimes be intimidating. The staff at The Photo Pros is extremely knowledgeable and trust-worthy...why venture onto to the internet when all you need is right in our own backyard.
Gregory Carter: Every time I go into Photo Pros I walk away knowing a little more about photography. Stephen and Mark and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The classes are wonderful and very engaging, I encourage anyone who wants to improve his/her photographic skills to take one of their classes you won't be disappointed.
Andy Shorley: This is my go to shop when I am looking for a local, in-person store for my gear needs. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable. I also take advantage of their free content and classes as often as possible. Definitely worth stopping in and checking them out.
Cleon Montgomery: It may have been the only place I've seen I want to learn photography. I'll definitely go there when I have a longer stay at st Louis
Hari Prasad: Very good people
Alex “Axels and Gears” Foutch: Helped me with the exact part I needed! Better than a hardware store could.

Best Buy: what do users think?
John: Haven't made the trip yet. But going soon. Its close to me.
Ian Kern: Always a terrible time coming to this location I usually will take a 30 minute drive home or further out to avoid this Best Buy.
TheOneWhoWas: I asked one of the employees a general question, and despite the fact that i mentioned to him that it was a research question, he still took the time to explain everything to me. Great service! I will return there for the final purchase.
Richard Duncan: Ethen in camera was fantastic.
Tony Thompson: Was just ok, after a 20 min wait at the front of the line, the new guys finally figured out they couldn't help me and sent me over to the Apple store.
Christian W: I cannot fathom how best buy continues to be competitive in this market. The alure of brick motar stores has been on the decline for years as consumers have turned elsewhere. Staff was nice though.
Mark Clarkson: Well it wasn’t just one visit but two and over a dozen phone calls and it’s still not over I go in to get a new remote for my eight hundred dollar Vizio tv which I bought there two years ago and took the old bad remote with me to hopefully get the correct one but no sold me the one witch cost me thirty five dollars and I get home and it doesn’t work so that means a few more days on the phone and it’s still far from straighten out, this has been an endless nightmare and far from straighten out!!!
Charles Heard: n/a
June Lenoir: Excellent customer service, the geek squad was patient and so very knowledgeable.
John David Clarke: A salesman informed me that I was going to have to pay $200 each year in order to get the best deals and repairs from Best Buy. I am already getting better deals and repairs from another store. I informed the salesman that he had just priced himself out of my market.
Lucie Watel: Not so great. Sales person talked way to fast because the pitch was rehearsed. I left.
Steve C: Justin was great!
Zach Hunsinger: Amous G was the best rep ever, found me a better TV and for less, huge help!
Jim Wallace: Best Buy is Best Buy. Helpful staff here though.
Jada Madison: Best Buy Geek Squad was very unprofessional..and the service was terrible. I came in on April 30th to get a repair on a phone that had to be shipped off in order for me to get a whole new phone (understandable, phone was pretty messed up) they told me it would take 3-4 business days and that it was $669( I was fine with that) ..so I went up there Thursday because there wasn’t any communication about where my package was or anything. So I went up to the store and I asked to speak to the manager “thinking” she knew was she was talking about, which unfortunately for me she didn’t!. So she told me to wait a additional day to have the package delivered to them, which I did. So I just called them today, and the man on the phone told me that I had to pay an additional $300 something dollars in order for me to get the phone, he didn’t have a valid reason as to why..so I just told him I want my refund and my BROKEN phone that they were suppose to fix back. I will NEVER go through Best Buy again.
Elijud Hall: TACOBELL DRIVE THRU
Kitty Ford: Rude girl at geek squad 2 different times will not be returning to this store
Jason Welge: Great facility great staff couldn't ask for a better place to buy Electronics
Denise Person: Great service.
N Powell: Poor customer service!
RENATO AMADO DE BORBA JUNIOR: Loja top muito boa. Excelentes preços e uma variedade de produtos com grandes marcas. Atendimento também funcionários super qualificados e atenciosos.

Walmart Photo Center: what do users think?
Mark Baker: I received an email stating that prints were ready. When I went the next day, they were not ready. I waited about 20 minutes for them to print the photos. One of the larger photos had a blemish on it. I decided to keep the photo despite the defect because it wasn't in view when I put it in my frame, but the only other solution walmart offered was to reprint the following day and I could make a separate trip to the store.
Chanta Bobo: They did a wonderful job on my picures
Lisa Green: Ordered groceries, went to pick up, it's neat you order drive up park in lane call number on whatever lane you're in they bring out your order. ;)
Marisa Bowlin: Love Walmart prices beat all other stores that carry the same items
Stacie Bachmann: Im really not the type of person to complain, and I know people always say that. But my last experience at the photo section in the electronics at the Telegraph Wal-Mart really upset me. I called and was on hold for 25 minutes for them to look up the the photos I dropped off (two and a half weeks ago and was told they would be ready in one week) I was not given a pick up slip, but I filled out a peice of paper that clearly had my first and last name, address, phone number and email addresses printed. They told me there was not an order that existed under my name. A 10 minute hold. They asked me to spell my first and last name a second time. Another 10 minute hold. That's when they said I did not have an order there. So I told them to look up my maiden name. Another 15 minute hold. I hung up and asked to speak to a manager. Another 10 minute hold. The manger was very kind and he was able to get someone from the photo section to magically find the order I had placed and was on hold for a little over a half hour. The employee ended up blaming the labor day weekend for the delay from two weeks ago.. And did I mention these were my honeymoon photos I was worried that they lost? Thank you to the manager who helped resolve this issue, but I will not be using their photo services again.
