If you become a member the guild they will deduct 30$-40$ from the base price off a class. Like 20%. I'm in my 4th week beginners painting class and Im learning so much. Cant wait to see the final result of my painting.
Karthika Krishna: Love the artist guild. I had no prior experience in art and after taking classes at the artist guild, my knowledge and understanding of art has increased. St. Louis Art Supply: what do users think?
Roy Sher: great spot for all kinds of art supplies from paints to easels to pensprobably good to browse online ahead of time and see if there are specific things you want as they have some things in the back warehouse areastaff are friendly and street parking is available
John House: Friendly and knowledgeable. They do not carry large watercolor sheets.
Spencer Hanning: Lucky to have St.Louis Art supply so close to home! Fantastic options, friendly staff, neat little store.
Shotsy Creates: I ordered online from Germany, and am in love with the products. Love these pastel watercolors so much and the limited edition yintico paint. There was some shipping confusion because I had moved to America, but it got to me in the end. Will be ordering more soon! I hope to visit in person someday!!! Thank you for your prompt costumer service for online orders ❤️🧡💛
Sandi Hague: Excellent products and service
Stephanie Crouch: I have not had the pleasure of visiting their in person location, but their service for online customers is amazing. I have now placed two decent sized orders through them, and not only are their prices more than fair, the shipping is fast and accurate. I've gotten both orders earlier than estimated which is so awesome. I can not recommend these folks enough.
tyler belcher: Selection of great art supplies, and fountain pens (which is what I was looking for). In a bit of a weird spot..
Ashton Cousins: Absolutely PHENOMENAL customer service and extremely fast shipping! My order shipped out an hour after I placed it! It was packaged safely, with an adorable sticker. Don’t hesitate to order from them!
Hanna Wilson: It's February 2023 and the lady said I can't come in without a mask. There was a marker written sign on the window that the lady pointed out after I walked in. Literally 0 other businesses are requiring masks in 2023. Find a new employee who isn't scared. No wonder there were zero customers in there.
Christopher Jarrell: St. Louis Art Supply curates a high-quality and hard-to-find collection of art and office supplies, with a Japanese emphasis. There is something for everyone's budget and taste. My order took longer than expected to ship, but it was perfect. Will definitely shop there again.
sharon phillips: I ordered a few items for my husband for Christmas. A pen, some ink, and a beautiful metal box to store items on his desk. Everything came so beautifully packaged and on time for Christmas. I had a little issue that I messaged them about and they responded right away and sent a replacement. My husband loved everything and was so excited to receive gifts from a small business. Highly recommend!
C. Jay Conrod: A great locally owned art supply store with great prices. If it isn't there it can be ordered, but just about everything I could want is there.
Gemini29 STL: This is a wonderful locally owned art supply store for your art needs.
Marie Sheel: They have a great selection of art supplies - the best of the essentials. The employees are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend St. Louis Art Supply.
Thomas Oliver: Best place in St Louis to get high quality art supplies from a knowledgeable staff of artists and people like minded to the artistic community of our city!
Chef Terri Milligan: Needed an item for a watercolor project and they came up in my Google search with the best price. Their customer service was great! I had accidentally purchased the wrong color on line and sent an email to them. They fixed it promptly and I received my order faster than any of the "big" art online supply stores. Plus they wrote a sweet "thank you" with my name and placed it in the box.
Hallene Darland: Posted nowhere on their website, they are not actually open.It also says they are open for in store pickup on Google. I drove a half hour to check out their supply and on their door it says they are closed. It's inconsiderate and they need to keep in mind that not everybody knows they are closed by word of mouth. Gas is expensive and I even looked at their website before heading over. Nothing about being closed. They don't deserve a bad review because of this. Im sure the store is great. So im giving three stars.
Phillip Clark: Well, they have a new customer.I popped up needing a pen and paper not knowing they are/were contactless, requiring online/curbside orders. I was having difficulties with the website not adding things to the cart, so I gave them a call and someone (I can't remember their name), came out and helped me curbside. They were really quick to help me and I got the pen and paper I needed to write letters. It wasn't just the customer service that I got, but the quality of everything which I saw on the site. In addition, I was told that the majority of things they have available online are available in the store, which is really nice to know for the future. Thanks to whoever it was that helped me in the nasty humid weather.I'll order online next time if I need anything else art-related, which is likely.
Crimm: My first experience there, i didnt realize they were online/pick up only so i made an order on my phone. I called and the gentleman working there was really nice and helpful with my order and picked them right away for me so I didn't have to wait, will definitely be ordering here more often!
Lisa Weigand: I am an online customer and absolutely love St. Louis Art Supply! I've had a custom watercolor pallet made and have purchased other watercolor supplies. Their prices are incredible as is their customer service. I am so happy to have found this company.
Jerry Fischer: Love this web site. Prompt and friendly service. Personalized with hand written thank you.

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
Janie Comerio: Samantha is an unprofessional manager. I ordered 2 yards of fabric on line, paid, received my receipt on Email and she couldn't figure out how to do the return. I was waiting for a simple transaction and was in the store for a good twenty five minutes. She was impolite and caused me a lot of time for what should have been a simple transaction. I did everything I was supposed to do. I even had to call this store while I was waiting inside the store at the fabric department for an employee to come and assist me as no one was nearby or in the department to measure my fabric for the return. Just sad on so many levels.
Mikayla L.: Quiet, easily accessible store, under stocked but quiet a pleasant location. Always check the back of the store for clearance!
Alessandra Abate: They have everything you need for crafting needs
Mr. and Mrs. Linnenbom: Rude clerks who have no time for customers. They really need customer training there badly. We'll never shop there again, that's for sure! What a sad, dismal lot of employees! The morale is deplorable.
Monica H: Had what we were looking for and it was on sale. Checkout went quick.
Grace Teague: Frustrating that the inventory is not up to date at all. Not sure why it's difficult to get an accurate inventory when everything is online, but I ended up only getting half of what I wanted despite checking inventory and placing a pickup order before leaving - not wasting my time driving to other stores, just order online.
Curt Balding: It has everything you could possibly expect from a fabric supply store.
Suzie irwin: Worst customer service. Went for an item that it said they had online. Couldn’t find the item, asked an employee for help and was told it is in the back and to check back next week. Called and talked to manager, Gabby, and she basically told me to order it online.
Terry Leible: Use your coupons to get the best deals.
Steve (Burnindaylight): Big store with small prices, Huge fabric selections and all types of sewing accessories. A perfect one stop sewing shop. You can even use their website to check in store availibility. Using their website plus your imagination does make it an one stop shop.
Kimberly Teague: Cute store. Such cool crafts
Laurel Wagner: The fabric selection was great and the cutter was helpful.
Precious Dela Rosa: I showed up well before close time, and the store was empty and closed when I arrived. Please adhere to your scheduled hours. If you want to go home at a different time, list that as your hours. Change the time on your door and Google. And then close at that time. Not a different time. I’m not trying to tell you what your operating hours should be, I’m just saying be open when you say you’re gunna be open.
Patsy Barnett: It's OK. Prices are high. I asked 2 staff members for spray glue. Each told me a different area, I didn't find it in either place.
cathy spengemann: Things are pretty pricey these days. This store has a lot of merchandise. Employees friendly but I did not have coupons!
Daniel Barnes: Halloween stock was low. Crafts are nice.
Shona Phillips: Their Quilting & Cosplay fabric sections have increased quite a bit, fun to see! Prices have stayed relatively the same, even better to see!!
Ross Just a guy: Nice store, nice people
Shannon O’Keefe: Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t find what I needed!
Emmy Dimes: These 5 stars are for Demarco! Thanks for the convo during check out and staying positive! Enjoy your frozen dinner, hope your break comes soon!Demarco needs a raise

Viola Textile Studio: what do users think?
Linda Sachs: I'm a teacher of many years and I had so much fun learning new techniques of embroidery and how to dye with nature/ leaves on fabric?I know that I will take more classes!!!
Barry Larson: Kelly Larson is actually writing this review...I attended an Eco Dye workshop recently at Kelsy's studio. What a wonderful experience of learning, laughing, sharing. All in the sweetest studio in STL with the sweetest instructors as well! Kelsy and Stefanie were very organized; provided ample supplies; gave step by step handouts; and even provided refreshments! I will definately return again and again.
Mary Grose: I have taken 3 classes with Kelsey. We made felted bowls, and 2 different Japanese dye techniques to dye scarves. Kelsey is a fantastic teacher who welcomes us into her home studio. Even the inexperienced like me comes away with a beautiful object. I've brought friends and met delightful people there as well.
Carol Gerdt: Kelsey"s studio workshops are totally engaging, fun and reasonably priced. Kelsey has excellent credentials, she explains techniques in easy to understand terms and she is well prepared for her students to create their own beautiful projects. She is a welcoming hostess as well. I am excited to attend my next one.
Katherine Huelsing: Kelsey's artwork is extraordinary. She is also a wonderful teacher with a beautiful space to host her classes. I look forward to working with her in the future and see her art recognized on a large scale!
Lynette Milles: I loved dying yarn last Saturday. I learned a lot.
Justine McNeilly-Megee: Viola Textile Studio is wonderful!!! I have been there 3 times for textile workshops and each one has been an absolute delight! Kelsey is an incredible person, teacher, and artist! I have met so many awesome people there, and have so enjoyed the textile techniques I have learned! Def recommend for workshops and community time! Or if you are looking for gorgeous art work to put in your home or space, Kelsey's work is fantastic!

Paper Source: what do users think?
Mia Yuan: Very nice store, but everything is expensive. They don’t gift wrap anything for free, you have to purchase a whole roll of wrap paper and ribbon.
David Lazar: This is a VERY nice Paper Source. Like all of these stores, everything is very expensive but this location has a great selection and wonderful staff. it is also open until 9pm, which is later than everything else in this shopping center. This is a great place for last minute gifting supplies!
scm aap: Worse Compnay to work for. No management, no vision, no future goal, projects are abruptly getting cancel. No pay for the work you do for company.
SuperFlawless9: This was an amazing place to have my art pieces wrapped for a customer! They were quick to give suggestions on how to protect my art and expertly wrapped the box they chose for the pieces of art. Beautiful selection of wrapping papers at a reasonable price as well.
Tom Isbell: Wonderful specialty store. Clever and friendly
Zakry Mulvaney: Helpful staff, papers you could frame and hang, gift wrapping service and did I mention the amazing staff?
Lifestyles of the Holloman's: Very helpful.
Josephine Bahr: The paper is a bit out of my price range. However, the patterns were beautiful and handmade. The attendant was very helpful and helped me measure paper. Although I didn't end up buying anything, I recommend this place because it is beautiful inside and, who knows, you may find something you will buy ☺️
Kate Monroe: Do not shop at this location. Do not place orders online for "curbside pickup."I placed an order online a week ago for a puzzle that was listed as "available for curb-side pickup." When I never got a follow-up from the store, I tried calling. No one answered either of my two calls -- which were placed during store hours as listed on the website (further, there's no message on the answering machine or anything to even indicate that I had actually reached the store). I still left a message though, and no one called me back. Finally this morning, the store manager (apparently) answered the phone. She was extremely rude during the course of the whole conversation. She asked me what I had ordered, and then summarily just said -- no, we don't have that in stock. She didn't even ask for my order number. When I expressed confusion, she just said that my order had been "cancelled" and that they must have forgotten to call me. That's terrible service, and disappointing with Christmas now just a few days away.To make matters significantly worse, when I was trying to ask if I could receive a confirmation of any kind that I will not be charged for the order (because I had not received any official word that the order was cancelled), she literally hung up on me!This store has no business being open. Your website has no business taking orders and credit card information for orders that you apparently have no intention of legitimately attempting to fulfill. Will not be shopping at Paper Source again.
Phillip Michaels: Unique products. A real treat to visit!
JoAnna Jackson: I just called the Paper Source in Saint Louis and had the rudest employee ever answer the phone!! I was calling to see if they had a phone case before I drove To their store and she keep asking if I had the SKU number?? She wanted me to get a SKU number first? All I wanted to know is if they had cases!! I have recently located here from another state and was a frequent customer of Paper source in that state. I will not ever shop in this store after this experience!! This employee does not need to be working at this type of store!
Benjamin Powell: We used Paper Source for our wedding invitation suite. The in-store experience from start to finish was wonderful. Sasha was always available to answer our questions, provide feedback, and talk us through the process. We spent quite some time over a few visits looking at all of the options. The store has books upon books of their available options, so it was really easy to conceptualize what our product would look like. While we had some trouble with the corporate side of Paper Source after our order was paid for and sent to print, this has nothing to do with our experience at this store. Our suite was beautiful and exactly what we wanted.
Konstantinos Papadakis: Nice variety of items
T LL: FedEx, professional & polite.
Kevin Berges: Went way above and beyond to help me get wedding gifts for my wife. Danielle is awesome!
Suzanne P: Favorite stop in STL....picking up craft items and as usual they had everything we needed. Great staff here!
William Smith: Most wonderful tasting food in St. Louis.
Alex: The amount of paper here is staggering. I really liked the selection although they didn't have what I was looking for, an A5 and B5 pair of notebooks with dotted grid or squared in high quality paper for my fountain pens, but it wasn't their expertise either so can't truly knock this location over it.
MARTIN Fine: This was my first time dining in a Giovanni restaurant and I was not disappointed. The menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas entrees. The service was very good and the food was served in a timely fashion. Looking forward to our next visit.
GnØ βØdι: They have paper.
Amy Hall: Cute and unusual gifts. Excellent book selection.

Blick Art Materials: what do users think?
Scott Graham: Love this place
Katherine Caldwell: Had almost everything you could want for drawing, coloring, and painting
Lucy Lu: This whole online price matching scheme is mind baffling. I'm a preferred member, but I always have to put up a fight when I check out. One time I bought a bunch of Luminance pencils and sketchbooks. The pencils are ~$3.50 online, and ~$5.50 in store. I asked for online price matching, which the cashier did. But the matching wasn't done for the sketchbook (mind you that they take pride on their system being "correct" so no adjustments are required). The sketchbooks turned out to be 40% more expensive than what they have online. I reminded the cashier and she was like "oh yeah I'll do price match for this item as well". This makes me very uncomfortable - they only price match when questions were raised, and customers who don't know their policy very well can easily get charged an insane price for products they buy. Also no matter how much stuff you buy in store, even with web match they ALWAYS charge you for shipping (I know, it doesn't make any sense). However, if you order stuff online, shipping is usually free when you buy more than $69.I love supporting local businesses and brick and mortar stores, but if this is the trick they pull on customers to keep the stores alive, I'll go to Amazon instead.
Gene Miller: Great options for various supplies and the staff are friendly.
Curt Balding: Store associate Eleana(?) Was polite and very helpful with a picture frame project I have planned
Fatema Khwaja: Went here on Saturday for my framing appointment, it was my first time coming to Blick. I went to the framing department of the store. I waited patiently for my turn. The guy that was working there was named Tim, he was finishing up with another client and then looked at me and said "Emily?" I was like "No, I'm Fatema." he said "Do you have an appointment?" I said "Yes I do, I made the appointment with your manager Tom", he continued to say that he does not see me in the book at all. but asked how he could help, I told him I wanted a glass frame and he said that those were an online only type of deal. He didn't even give me a minute to explain myself until I cut him off. Since the glass frame was online only, I asked him about printing a photo for me . "You need to set up an appointment for that" he said. Like I already didn't??I thought. I thanked him and left. I walked up to the cashier to see if they could order the frame online for me and I also asked them to see if Tom was in (the manger) so I could see if he booked me or not. They said that he wasn't in that day so they offered to help me. They checked there computers and saw that I actually did have an appointment and it was by the name "Satema" rather than Fatema. They told me it was misspelled which is understandable. The guy I had talked to was very nice and patient with me. he told me to walk back and talk to Tim again and tell him that I have an appointment. When I got back to the framing department I saw that he was with another customer. I waited patiently for ten minutes. Once he was done with the other customer he didn't even acknowledge me or even look my way to help me. he was just standing there. then the guy from the cashier's desk came and talked to him and told him I had an appointment. Tim didn't apologize about the misunderstanding/ communication, but proceeded to say "what do you want help with?". I told him how I wanted to print out the photo again. he told me to send it to him. As I did that, he immediately told me that pictures would not look good because its not a raw file, even though I sent him the raw file from the photographer's email. And the he went on about how photos are suppose to be and the resolution blah blah blah, Its like he was trying to talk me out of it so he wouldn't give the time to help me out. When I watched him help out the other two customers before me he seemed very energetic and in a good mood but when it came to me he treated me as if I was a child that didn't know anything. Horrible experience. Won't come back. And unfortunately Tim is the only framing guy there.
Tendo Nalyaali: Sky’s customer service is A plus plus plus.
marta adamiv: I love it
Josh McClelland: Great art supply store. Plenty of color options, friendly/helpful staff, in a convenient location. Definitely recommend for ALL your art supply needs.
SuperFlawless9: Amazing staff that tries to give you the best prices on art supplies they possibly can.
L.E. Beck: Well organized, brightly lit, staff was friendly but not too pushy. They let us browse in peace.
DAN PROFFITTE: THE PLACE IS GREAT AND A GREAT STAFF TO.
Patrick Shansey: Large selection, clean and respectful of CDC guidelines. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I recomend this to anyone looking for art supplies. Also a fun atmosphere.
Daniel Patrick: Big disappointment........ won't go there again.
Vince Hart: This place is amazing. If you need inspiration, or supplies, it's a must do store for art supplies. Ask for Bob, and if you need any local area information he will hook you up.
J: Nice but very expensive
Jon Fincher: Great art store in a great location. I would willingly drive another 100 miles to find a store this packed with supplies.
Hope Burdette: Fantastic selection and helpful staff! I start every semester with a road trip to the nearest Blick. Love how this company takes care of their employees!
Alan Dennis, Baron of Cowie: Great art supply store
Anime Ayanna: A lot of great art materials that I can't find in person in most places. I will be visiting many more times.

Artmart: what do users think?
Kelly Miller: Love!
Robert Bierer: Most items cleared out, getting ready for the new business.
Kathy Hart: Sad closing
Robert Jackson: Hate to see them go. Been shopping here for 20+ years.
Margot Pratt: so unique! so sad to see it being taken over
Garneau Weld: I love this place and the quality of service which is unparalleled from LA to New York. It has been around almost forever. I believe I do remember when it was founded and it was kind of the new kid on the block. True to its creed, Art Mart is an art mart serving all levels and disciplines of artistic creation. We shall see what happens during the transfer, but in the meantime, I bought a whole bunch of art supplies as a reintroduction to the world of creative expression. You should too! G.
Gloria Brooks: Feels like an artistic candy store. A one stop shop venue. Loved you can find a gift for someone who appears to have everything. Lots of 40% off. Going back for Xmas gifts!
Barbara Chappuis: Great selection and service!
Andy Holman: Great customer service!
Leyla Rose Bland: Too many awesome things in here. I could spend all my money 😂I love this place!!
Robert Anderson: If artwork is your thing than you know art mart is the place to go. However, it is the customer service that makes the difference. The girls have always gone the extra mile to assist and they offer a student discount that saves my daughter hundreds this year alone!
Farah Habli: I love this place, it has all what an artist needs.
origami (Origamigirl11): I love artmart. My only critique is that they are a bit limited on the mixed medias side. But if you need any kind of paper or paint they have you covered.
Alan Barasch: Looking for that crazy pen or paint? Artmart probably has it and the staff knows where it's hidden.
SuperFlawless9: This place has extremely helpful staff and an amazing amount of supplies for all kinds of artist! Will support this local business again sometime!
Suzi Eberly: The sales associate who helped frame our painting was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Marie P-R Koehlinger: I currently live in a far western state and have missed this awesome store! The people are attentive, friendly AND KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!! It was fabulous to be back in this store again! It is on my to-do list to visit Artmart to stock up, any time I'm in StL.
C. Jay Conrod: Not the cheapest art supply store in town, but an excellent selection of supplies.
Amy McCauley: Has SO MUCH! I love it.
Laraine: I have shopped here for decades. Now living in Illinois, I stop here every trip back to St. Louis. Paints and brushes, cards, fun and funny gifts, children’s crafts, books, and always a knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Kerica Williams: OMGeeeeee this place has EVERYTHING you can imagine for arts & crafts, painting, etc!! I’ve slept on Artmart for years…my bad!
