Savant 'Chi: Extremely friendly and outgoing people in here. The monks are very kind and welcoming.
라차폰: A center of Buddhist community with highest reverence to the way of Buddha, and a place of meditation and peaceful life. The monastery is always welcome to all. This is a wholesome place of worship where one can truly find his and her own sanctuary for oneself. Highly recommend for the visit and exploring.

Kevin Childers: Recieved some Buddhist amulets and a prayer wheel. I just wanted to respectfully pass them on to someone who was of the Buddhist faith. Monks were very polite and appreciative.

Kevin Childers: These are the kind people who publish the "Start Here StL Resource Directory". The most complete and all encompassing guide I've seen for services and assistance in Eastern MO. If you haven't seen a copy, visit the website and checkout the online version. An essential guide to those new to the Metro-DyL area. If your in need or know someone who is, it can help. I strongly recommend anyone looking to council others to read it first. Lastly if you know of anyone offering assistance who is not listed in it, please pass their information on to Ms. Corey for inclusion in the next edition. She updates the online PDF regularly and the printed copy at least once a year.

Nuno Gloop: Very welcoming. Saturday evenings Dr. Kongsak translates sermons to English. The lay community are wonderful and the Bhikkhus are as well. If you're interested in Buddhism I highly recommend stopping by.

Kevin Childers: Just a visit to return some earbuds. My languages skills are a wreck to say the least. You'd think after 3(+) tours in East Asia, I'd have a better grasp of the languages. Just out of practice and to many other 3rd world languages mixed in there. If it wasn't for my little honey ko keeping me practicing Tagalog, I'd probably be losing that too.

Simon Huang: Attended Vesak ceremony with some friends for the first time and enjoyed the place! Will be back.

Jeffrey: The Vesak ceremony was very well organized and the staff and volunteers are simply amazing. It was a proper ceremony but even a guest or layperson will feel very comfortable. This event had visitors and guests from the Mid America Buddhist Association, too. I highly recommend visiting during any of the Sunday services, not only for a special service. I will definitely return.

Nathan D: I went to the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Center to observe a Sunday service for my Cultural Anthropology class. The people there were really helpful in explaining what was going on and why. Afterwards someone answered any questions that I had and were overall very friendly. Afterwards they invited me to stay for lunch, but I couldn't due to prior engagements. Curses! If you are not Buddhist and looking for a place to learn more abour Buddhism I highly recommend this place. If you are Buddhist it seems like an awesome place as well! I cannot say enough good things about my experience. It was fun.
