Leroy Klamm: Tour was fine , however while thereWe had a free sample of beer. Was also good. The Boddled sample was also good. I wish I could have gotten a keepsake item that I can 5ake on the airplane ✈️ as we coident take the Boddled Beer through Security.Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Not sure …More
shane palmer: Definitely worth doing the brew masters tour.
MudDuck Bill Thomas: I highly suggest the finishers tour. Great time, Great FREE BEER. Our tour guid was the best. I just wish I could remember his name.
Clint Hand: Saw and got up close with the Clydesdales. Lots of fun!
Michael: War ein unterhaltsamer Nachmittag.Kennt man eine Brauerei in der Art, kennt man alle..
Ron Grigsby: Great tour. Tour guide was awesome.
Laura Cortez: A good attraction to visit. The cheapest tours are $15 which is not too bad. You get to learn lots of local history attached to a very famous brand. I liked it enough to come back for some of the other pricier tours.
Katy C: The Day Fresh Tour was a much better tour than the VIP tour. For being VIP, we did not have the stable to ourselves. There were two other groups that had come into the barn with us and tried to join our group. Dave, our guide was great. Pretty much you pay to pet a Clydesdale. The “handler” glossed over the grooming chores and was not able to answer many specific questions that a groom/trainer should be able to easily answer. Skip the VIP tour and go to the day fresh tour instead. You still get time in the stables and plenty of beer!
Dan: Beermaster tour was perfect. Great value, beers, budweiser hat, and an ice cold beer from finishing tanks. Great day.
Chris Smith: Fantastic tour. Well worth the cost. We will probably visit again next visit to St. Louis.
Josh Richards: Maddie was a great tour guide. We took the day fresh tour.
Bryan Devan: Great tour, must do if you are in St Louis. Was in town for a business trip and had some extra time to kill. We did the day fresh tour. They have other tours like the Clydesdale VIP tour. Even if tours aren't for you they have a beer garden /restaurant in the lobby. Our guides were very knowledgeable and energetic the whole tour. Made for a great experience. The tour is family friendly. The kids just don't get the sample beer along the way.
Jerrod Grant: Great tour of American heritage! Cheers!!
Jenne Holmes: Not a lover of beer so decided to take the Clydesdale VIP tour. Well worth the extra money and being at be close to these magnificent animals was amazing. The tour guide was great and I learned a lot about the horses, the history and how the horses are cared for. Plus I got to have my photo taken with a Clysedale. So glad I booked this tour.
John Schalk: Cool tour, just incredible. Good time!
Santiago Reynal O'Connor: Not my beer of choice but regardless an awesome factory great tour for the brewmaster great piece of Americana
Al Pacino: Very nice tour guide.
Dale O'Kray: The tour was excellent. We did the Brewmaster tour. 2 1/2 hours and saw and heard so many interesting things. Free cap and glass, plus taste testing. The time flew by with all that we saw. It guide was very informative and answered everyone's questions. Highly recommended.

4 Hands Brewing Co: what do users think?
Bruce Pruellage: Great pilsner. Great staff. FULL LIFE Great beer
Tiffany Brown: Great stop for craft beer! My personal favs were Scale of Complexity and Strange Sour! If you’re wanting a snack, definitely try the Rarebit 1 Pretzel, I could totally just eat the cheese and be happy, but the pretzel was absolutely delicious too!
Walker Yane: Best IPA's in town.
David Rodebaugh: Nice selection of beers. Friendly staff, and a comfortable place to have a cold one.
Benjamin Reha: Cool spot tucked away just south of the Arch. If you are in town visiting - definitely make it a point to visit this brewery. Upstairs there are free arcade games and a ton of seating and space. Everyone was super nice and when we bought two pint glasses the bartender gave us a bunch of free stickers. Beer was super tasty, they also had some really good cocktails and seltzers. Next time I am in town I will be back! Thank you
Noah Barnes: Beer is pretty good, service and overall vibe of the place...not so. Food was also subpar, didn't seem like much effort went into the preparation. Just an overall feel of mailing it in there.
Chris Medlock: I love their beer and finally made it to their brewery. Great place to hang out and enjoy a few. You can enjoy a smaller bar area downstairs, or go up to a large open space with plenty of tables, seats, and games. They have some great 80’s-90’s arcade games, pinball, and skeeball!!
Zant 76: Beer is good, but definitely don't go here for the food. We love going to breweries that offer food, but this was a huge disappointment. The Frisco Melt was good except for the butter/oil that was used to toast the bread, it had a rancid taste, so we only ate about 1/3 of it and they did refund us for it. The seasonal salad was good, no complaints there. The Chicken strips we got for our 2 and 5 year old, well even they wouldn't eat them. They were made with dark meat and the batter was so overcooked and beyond crispy. I did not ask for a refund for the chicken strips just because I didn't want anyone to think we were just complaining to get free food or something.Wasn't impressed with the food and won't get food here again.0 stars for the food because price to quality is horrible.4 stars for the beer2 star rating overall
Andy Patrick: Awesome atmosphere and as always fantastic beer!
Daniel Herrington: Great beer and live music for an easy Sunday.
John “JV”: Great brewery with good beer selection - Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Theres an awesome space upstairs to eat and be merry. They even have video games for the kids. Tried their rye whiskey, which was pretty good but priced a little high for the (my) taste. Having a shared space restaurant in their venue is a nice touch, but not technically 4Hands so wont review it. But it was 4 star bar food. Kid friendly during the day .
Justine Rastigue: we Really enjoyed our visit there, great selection of beer and cocktails. There were two awesome bartenders upstairs!!! Tried the pretzels and cheese.. really good 👍
Chris Eckert: One of our favorite places when we come to st. Louis! Great beer!!
Samantha Eaves: Great spacious spot with a fantastic pale ale and lots of other delicious options (chocolate milk stout and mosaic IPA to start!)
MM Harmon: Great beers + great service
Kerry Pitt-Hart: I usually order the Gimme Lit and for beer, the City Museum Pilsner is delicious. Not too citrusy and so easy to drink. When the Cardinals are playing, we'll drink upstairs and watch them play. Miss Jennie - one of our favorite STL bartenders - is behind the bar now, which means we'll be hanging out here more often, and Gary is equally awesome 💕
Joe Kampelman: We went before the City match. Great beer, great people, and great atmosphere. The food was excellent also!
Josh Radke: Good beer and a great, free arcade upstairs for the kids. Food also available, but wasn't as good the last couple of times we have been there.
Jess Larna: One of the best beers in the country. Every time I visit I always take few packs with me.
Jeffrey Nelson: Nice balance of styles.
Ryan Watson: 4 hands is the best, Incarnation IPA is my favorite go to IPA out of all IPAs that exist out there. Had a minor issue with a pack recently and they were kind enough to do replacement pack for me! Jeremy real helpful, bartender Nix is real nice. Will always be loyal consumer. Keep it up.

Earthbound Beer: what do users think?
Matt Spencer: I only had the ipa, it had the faint hint of anise that I don't quite know what it is. Space was cool, food menu was delish hipster af.
Lisa Vezzoli: Beautiful space, beautiful patio, great atmosphere, great beer. Can't ask for anything more. Thanks for having us!!
Jake: A wide variety of delicious in house brewed beers and a great atmosphere. The food from the Fattened Caf there is delicious too but only available Thursday through Sunday
Cody Cummings: Earthbound has one of the coolest vibes of all the breweries in STL. Their building is a renovated section of the old Cherokee Brewery that closed in 1899. Like the building, they have breathed new life into a stale craft brewing scene with inventive flavor combos and great tasting standards. Make sure to take their tour of the brewery! They take you several floors below ground to the old underbelly of the lagering cellars where Cherokee used to store their beer for lagering. It’s like a casual history lesson and excuse to grab some beers all rolled into one. You might also run into the Fattened Caf serving Filipino BBQ in the kitchen if you go on the right day. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out and enjoy drinks with friends.
Nichole Sullivan: This is a fun, unique place on Cherokee. The Philippino breakfast was very good, most notably the pork belly. The tour is highly recommended. It is peppered with interesting St. Louis history and takes you below to the old underground storage. The floating walkway interior is a lot of fun and a nice way to spend an afternoon.
Ali: Great and knowledgeable owner! I highly recommend taking a tour and visiting the cave in the basement, the building is also old and cool! They have a good beer selection, and nice patio
Stephanie Bondhus: Awesome space and great beer!
Chuck Collis: Solid, diverse lineup of brews.
Derek Theisen: Earthbound are masters of creative brewing and have a beautiful historic taproom. Make sure to do the tour, it is informative and fun.
E K: Really cool building and owners. The sours are lovely!
Austin Elkins: Do the tour!
Jon Taylor: What an amazing venue! Must see
Dan Story: One of the coolest brewery spaces. I love the tree house feel to the second floor.Beers are good. Usually there's some weird experimental stuff on tap since they do lower volume brews, so you'll always have access to something new. Irish red, ESB, and Stouts tend to be their strongest beers.
Dhaval Desai: Cool place
JB Monte: Pretty neat little spot with a selection of investing beers. Ok for a quick stop in. No food, but they have a little pinball machine in the back.
Stephanie Phillips: Oh my lord, amazing food. Had the pork steak, spicy chicken and the red cabbage. All of it was top notch.
Jason Whitt: SUX !!
David Hrubecky: I only attended a wedding here and it was amazing! The staff do a great job running the event and really make the experience special. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful non traditional wedding venue!
Sandi Brewer: Great variety with unusual brews you won't find other places. Relaxed setting for just sitting and enjoying the beer.
Scott VandenElzen: Awesome beers and sours. Popup BBQ was amazing
David Settles: 👍🏿 nice

Rockwell Beer Company: what do users think?
Rachel S: Nice brewery with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have wine, cocktails and frozen drinks
david duncan: Good beer 🍺 good food and service
Joe Burkes: This place is a delight. Get the beer!
The Smith Show: Great atmosphere. Unpretentious and relaxing vibes. I also like they have craft beer but also a mixed drink bar as well.I had the Polymath Saison (delish!) Then I had the hitchhiker to California (nast) couldn't finish it and I love and drink all kinds of beer especially IPAs.I would come back but the soapy potpourri flavor of the only IPA.. I won't rush back.... update: I didn't rush back and they have a couple other IPAs on the menu.. I kept with the Polymath: Strata and wife got Uncle Jam a bold flavor forward sour. It's dark and rich. It made for a good sipper. She says 8 out 10!
Sándor Bokor: Good drinks and outdoor seating (benches) with umbrellas to provide shade.
Karen Wittmayer: Great food and beer!
Jerry Moore: This place has great food and a fantastic selection of brews! And such a great atmosphere for a gathering place!
Garth Weihl: Decent burger and good beer. The the inside and outside areas are spacious and nice.
jessica schwieterman: Excellent vegetarian options. Had the mushroom and Swiss with veggie patty, and it was fantastic!
Chris Redford: We were part of a large group that gathered on Wednesday evening. It was a bit quieter, so we were able to talk and share stories. The staff was welcoming and the dinnerMeal was great. Thanks again for creating this friendly meeting place… and the beer was great too!
Annamarie Parks: We were there for a private event may 7, 2023. The bartender for the event did an awesome job. All of the staff was so pleasant.
MG: Love this place.Their burgers are great 👍🏼.
Margo Grills: Good burgers, great fries. The beer is mid tier. They do allow dogs. Overall a great place to grab a bite or chill with buds!
Kristen McCullough: I absolutely love Rockwell! The service is great. The drinks and food are delicious and the environment is relaxing.
Pamela Thurston: Love the space, beer selection and vibe. Great place to meet up.
Bill Bowe: Food = GreatBeer = Very GoodPOS system prompts for tips = BadEverything is self service so why should you tip and if you do tip who does it go to? Does Rockwell not pay its people well?
Olivia Partlow: The beer was average. The lack of women's restrooms was deplorable. There is a designated men's restroom but no women's. Only unisex. I don't mind at all when establishments have only unisex restrooms but providing a men's room and then forcing women into a shared space is not acceptable.
amy sikorski: We love Rockwell! The beers are great,The food is excellent!
Bill Trotter: Great experience. Sat outside in the sun. Enjoyed delicious food and beer.
Stephanie Kemp: They ROCK and they do it WELL!
Brett Quinn: This place was amazing, every beer I tried was great and the food was tasty. Nice vibe as well.

2nd Shift Brewing: what do users think?
Jason Bena: Lovely spot to spend some time in the evening on a hot day. Freddy and Margaret were great behind the bar. Margaret even helped me cure my hiccups at the end of the night!
Sarah Robertson: One of my most favorite places in the city. They have a really great location on The Hill. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The interior has a super cool laid back "great hall" vibe but can feel intimate or like a big party, depending upon if there's an event or not. Love it, love all of it.
Crystal Cornine: What a cool place in an unexpected location!
The Smith Show: I'm not a fan of the new $8 pints popping up. At the breweries. However 2nd Shift offers 6,12,16oz options AND a beer special. I tried the special for $4, a like infused lager. Totally worth it! Delicious and refreshing. We also had the Sunny Cat it was too thin for my taste and we had the Moon phase which was really good 7.5 out of 10 on the moon phase. It's a IPA mistake that turned into a sour. Awesome flavor! 🍺😋
Meistro7: First time here, and I'll be back. Sunday Bingo! Great servers, great merch. Great outdoor beer garden.. if it's not too hot (it was today) and the selection of beers is excellent.
Paul Paxton: 2nd shift is my favorite brewery!!!! I come here regularly for their new beers and their discount packs! My friends and I come by and play magic the gathering and have some beers. Tonight we stopped in for a flight and dinner. First time getting the food, it was awesome. I highly recommend the poppd pepper! And the art of neurosis beer! My wife liked the Buffalo chicken pizza and the Pravda! They also have games you can play while chilling!
Wolle Schmidt: Freundliche, sachkundige Bedienung, nette Umgebung
Elizabeth Loudon: I absolutely love this place. Fantastic atmosphere. No wonder it was packed this Sunday. Excellent selection of unique and delicious beers. Fair prices. Awesome to go beer selection. What more could you ask for?Was a little confused by the menu columns. All the ones on the far right are $7 for a 6 oz. Thought that was just describing something actually called "barrel aged liquid spiritual delight" "our flagship imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels." That's not a beer name or singular thing, it's a category encompassing all three stouts on the right side. Eventually I'll try everything.
Peter Crumpler: One of my favorite breweries anywhere
Johnny Kehr: 2nd shift is awesome! Great beer, great ambiance. Huge indoor and outdoor space. TVs to watch any game going on. Dog friendly, kid friendly. Truly a great spot! If I had to come up with one complaint, it’s that pints are $8 🙂 But that might just be the way things are going these days.
Curtis Jeney: Great selection of beers. The most family friendly brewery in the city. Awesome staff, and great events (bingo/trivia/local markets).
Matthew Whitaker: Damn that place it move all the tables out and open up the dance floor so we can wiggle
Elliot Gross: Delicious beer and great atmosphere
John Turpin: Great beer, chill environment.
J D: Right off of Manchester is a sweet little brewery with a vast selection for every type of beer drinker. Wines and cocktails too, or sodas for the young. The quality of the brewmasters craft is apparent on your first sip. I've driven by here many times and am sorry it took me this long to stop. Appetizers and food available to keep you happy.
Moris Behar: Great beers and even greater atmosphere!
Lauren Lee: Great prices and chill atmosphere. One of my favorites.
Rob Reynolds (Rocketrob): A couple great stouts. Nice work!
John Missel: Always a great time at 2nd shift! Their beer is spectacular too! And the employees are always kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Jim Zavist: Good beer, great staff!
Shelby Ross: Good beer and good atmosphere. Bartenders were all very friendly. Always another major bonus point: dog friendly 😁

Wellspent Brewing Company: what do users think?
Tammy Mobley: Amazing brews. Totally worth the visit.
Jun Kim: The best in the town.
Jonathan Nelson: Strange vibes here on a Sunday. Other breweries visited that day had good people and energy but Wellspent had a lot of laptops. Barrel aged quad tasted like a corked bottle of wine.
H. Chad Lane: Nice inside, but come on... At 9:45 on a Saturday after the STL City game you are gonna tell us you closed? Other bars open, just hang in there till 10:30. Good lord, not asking for much.
Eric Nelson: Excellent beer. Nice atmosphere.
Michael Henson: Great Belgium beers!
David Bennett: Lots of beer options. The "malty" beers are my favorite.
Samuel J: Not only one of the better breweries in stl, they had one of the best beers I have ever had this past visit. It was a seasonal imperial stout infused with chocolate and cherry! But every time you go it provides a great chill , with a large outdoor patio, and most importantly the beer is usually innovative and smooth. Tucked away in the heart of midtown. Pretty new so I think it is gaining traction but once the mls stadium goes up I bet this place will be packed all the time!
Elizabeth Loudon: Love it. Amazing beer. Ordered more tamales because they were so tasty and they were close to running out. Bought beer to go because it's so good. Can't wait to come back. Sweet potatoes tamales. Ipa with milkshake or lactose elements. Weekday events. Damn.
Logan Reynolds: Quiet place with a very good and warm atmosphere
Derek Theisen: Wellspent makes fantastic beer, from IPAs to stouts to saisons. Their taproom is spacious, they host lots of fun events, and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend
lellieu: Delicious locally brewed beer, I was very impressed by the Belgian style triple.
Bridget Krabbe: Great beer! Great space! Happy anniversary Loyd and Linda!❤️
David Briggs: Time Wellspent. What else can I say? Great beers and some good tamales
Alexei Palermo: Balanced selection of brews from a Blonde Ale to an exquisite Tripel. Any beer enthusiast or St. Louis visitor must stop here and enjoy their pours. Little secret: sometimes they have delicious tamales available. Cheers🍻!
Matthew Gerths: Can confirm. Great beer and great people serving it. Not from town but happy I stopped in to visit and share a cheers.
Emily Anderson: I was here on a solo travel and stopped here on my way back downtown earlier on a Saturday. The bartender was really nice... I really liked the simple elegance of the interior design. The beer was good. They're dog friendly and have merch for you to buy... I think i saw games potentially? Great place for a date...after work... or casual hang.
Ethan Erickson: Super chill brewery with great beers. The best brewery in the central corridor.
VAUN CLAYBURNE: Great location, Capable and friendly staff, and... PHENOMENAL BEER!!! 'I choose not to run' is an absolute favorite and I HIGHLY recommend it. Closely followed by the 'Mr. Maraschino!' However there are SO MANY incredible brews you have to go choose your own.
TheLynch47: Nice ambiance, great people on the team, amazing beers! The beers nicely break the commercial mold and offer something different but not too out there.
ThreeOnePour: Wellspent is one of the newer breweries to open in St.Louis, although their beer already has its established taste. Located in Midtown, Wellspent is just a short Uber ride from downtown.Wellspent took over an abandon old movie theater, although you wouldnt know as the inside has been artistically updated to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for sampling some of their craft beer. Board games are available, as is a limited food menu from The Tamale Man. However, if Tamales are not your thing you within a short walk to both Pappy's BBQ and Southern should you want something more to eat.The beer at Wellspent is spot on, with a somewhat heavy focus on fruited sours such as Apricot, Boysenberry, and even Mango although flavors are seasonal so depending on the time of year you may find a rotating selection. In addition to sours, you can find a variety of beers that would likely make even the pickiest of beer drinkers happy. Many of the beers here are aged in wine barrels, with a few also making their way to bourbon barrels. In addition to the tap room, there is an outside patio that is perfect for those summer evenings. Street parking is available in front of, and across the street from the brewery.Overall if you are a craft beer fan I highly recommend that you check out Wellspent.

Alpha Brewing Company: what do users think?
Mark Brumleve: Delicious beer and friendly staff. I'd especially recommend if you love a good sour, but they have other offerings as well!
Lana Sikes: This was my second time coming here to see BongoJak vs The Loop Machine! The food was delicious, the portions are pretty large! I had the loaded fries & a Tassie's Rootbeer. Even though it was busy, they were extremely fast, very short wait for the food to come out! Tassie the bar cat is adorable! Dog friendly patio with water bowls. Two outdoor seating areas, indoor area, family friendly, board games, live music, great staff, & easy parking!
Riley Perdue: Wonderful hidden gem of a brewery. Great patio with adorable cats that will come and say hi. Interesting beers, good food, and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely one of the best breweries in St. Louis!
Rachel Woodall: I definitely recommend Alpha Brewing! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating options both indoors and out. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable! I really love that they offer cocktails too! It's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day, catch up with friends, or just sit and enjoy a great drink!
Steven Norman: One of if not the best brewery in South City. A wonderful patio and the food is exceptional.
Brendan Knapp: Great patio, often with live music. Pretty good beer
Cody Cummings: Alpha is hands down my favorite brewery in STL. Their standard menu beers are all great. I recommend the Boat Beer for easy sipping or the Fyler Flyer if you like Belgian blondes. The rotating items are a lot of fun especially if you’re in the mood for big flavors and fun fruity combos. Call it a shameless plug, but their Sipster program is a great deal if you like an excuse to hit the bar every Monday after work. Not only do you get half priced pours, but you also get stamps for every beer you order that can earn you swag and even a keg party at your house. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s trivia, live music or meat bingo. Definitely give Alpha a shot and enjoy a cold one for me!
Isaac Cherry: Live music! Fun vibe and atmosphere!
Joseph Mazzola: Good beers, BOGO burgers on Tuesday. Had a beer, two burgers, fries, and a soda, $30 including the tip.
eric kurfman: If you enjoy fruit of every variety in beer this is the place for you. I personally do not, so I give 3 stars... Not bad, just not my cup of tea... Or beer as the case may be.
Kim Will: This place has a nice vibe and if you like beer then proceed. If you are going because you are hungry please turn around. Everytime j come here I buy food and leave hungry. Like I have hated the food each time. I kept think this place was just having a bad day but I have accepted its food is nasty but other than that you can have a great time play games with friends.
Stephen Sheridan: love this place, world class sour beer, very high quality and a lot of variety, I do wish the food was as good as the beer
stephanie hobbs: The beer is excellent, and they have great cocktails on tap if you're not a beer drinker. Fun atmosphere, local artwork and everyone is super friendly, including the owner! Will be back :)
Joe Stinger: Excellent Apple Ambush. Great service.
Dan McLaughlin: Great variety of beers . Burgers and fries were also good . Live music. Friendly atmosphere.
Josh Peck: Nice place to grab a beer and a bite.
Daniel Driscoll: Average place. Nothing special. I only drank half the beer and eat half the food. The pork rhines were okay.
Robert Keel: Good beer and good food. Live music (Bubbles Brown) on the patio—good tunes. Definitely worth a visit.
jennifer manolis: good beer and atmosphere
Bruce Pruellage: Good wings. Great beer
J “RedShirtOCTO” J: Great drinks, Great service, Delicious food!

Urban Chestnut Midtown Brewery and Biergarten: what do users think?
Kenneth Smith: Extremely popular place, especially on a weekend. Outdoor area is super!
Colin Weber: Ordered a medium rare burger that came out like meatloaf, and had a hair in it. The Bathroom facilities were Ill prepared as well. 1st and only time I’ll ever visit.
W. Robert: Saltiest, dryest, most overcooked (we ordered medium) burgers we have had in ages. Lettuce was slimy and wilty, tomatoes hard and pale, the sides of fries were unsalted and lukewarm/cool. The loaded fries had some cheese sauce and bacon on the top, but it was mostly just plain unsalted fries. Ingredients were clearly good quality, but whoever made the food might need to taste what they are making every once in a while, as it is just wasting food. On top of that, when we ordered at the bar, we ordered a single extra side of mayo, and when the food runner brought the food out it was absent; we asked for it and she got a big attitude and acted as if it was a huge inconvenience, saying they normally charge for it and almost didn't give us one until I politely insisted we told the bartender and were not given a print receipt, but she could check with her. Further, we were the only food order while we were there and we got carryout (we could see the kitchen and orders come up) and it took around 35+ minutes for our order - while I don't know if that is usual for 2 burgers and 3 sides of fries, perhaps it was because they were overcooking the burgers and letting the fries get cold? Our tab for 2 burgers with sides of fries + 1 order of loaded fries + 1 side of mayo came out to around $42. The main UC location is always top notch, and this was our 1st time here - I may give it another shot in 6-12 months after the cooks have had time to recalibrate or be replaced, but I cannot currently recommend. This was our birthday dinner (we share a birthday!), and it just really sucked. We'll try to make up for it with a stellar breakfast tomorrow.
Larry Jost: Stopped over for a brat and beer prior to heading to an event. Well, they did not have brats but had burgers and a fish sandwich. We went for it. The burger was blah and overdone but managed to eat it. The fish sandwich was good. Fries were good. Beer was delivered in plastic cups and was ok. The indoor area is very small but people do sit around and play games and it is nice. Outdoors the patio looked nice and had lots of seating. If you go go for beer and maybe a snack and to hang with friends, but probably not for the food as a meal.
MM Harmon: Outstanding beers in a great location. Service is always great. Pretzel is a must-try.
Elizabeth Loudon: Interesting beers. Great to see a unique pumpkin ale. Nice servers. Popular Friday night.
Jess Ehm: Delightful food! Great beer options. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.Only downfall was that I didn't see much indoor seating. We were lucky to get a table, but shortly after all tables were full. Looks like they definitely have a large outdoor bier garden type space, that did be fun in the summer months. But a smaller space for winter, is what the situation seemed to be during our January visit.
Kevin Montgomery: Very good Russian Imperial Stout. But what is most impressive is their Pilsner. That shows the true talent if a brewery.
Mike Kunz: We had a nice experience just getting a beer and hanging out with friends.
นวลจันทร์ ผลัดครบุรี: Great food variety, nice place, great service
Christopher Stoces: It takes a special kind of idiot to staff a beer event that draws more that 200 people with 2 people pouring beer. THAT BEING SAID, when did it be come acceptable to yell at a customer to EFF OFF if the customer was upset it was taking more than 45 minutes to get their check. And oh, if you want to enjoy a beer while waiting, sorry 45 minutes to order a beer also. I know it is a new world post-pandemic when it comes to hiring staff and I love microbrew beer and would also argue that UBC has some of the best beer in STL. I am in the top 25% of all reviewers for microbreweries across the US and to date I believe I have never given any microbrewery less than 4 stars. My advice, DON'T GO TO MIDTOWN... go to the Grove or even Germany, because the staff at Midtown thinks that it is ok to yell and curse at you... obviously it is not their problem as they could care less about their customers.
Douglas Williams (Doug): Went in on Sun night prior to a concert. Another microbrewery had a 3-hour wait time due to concert goers. Chose UCBC as an alternative. Asked for brat at 6:20pm and was told with disdain that the “kitchen” was closed at 6pm. Hardly seems like a feat that could not be accomplished in short order. Even the orders being filled seemed to have people waiting a long time. Had a beer and left. Simple menus shouldn’t be a chore.
Bob Hines: Great beer! Great location! We always have a great time in the biergarten.
Carly Finegan: Love this location! Good beer to drink, they often have live music. Very cute biergarten. Great spot to gather with friends.
Aaron Weiss: Staff are very friendly and they have a wide assortment of beers. The space is quite nice, though they don't have many food options. A little dark and cramped inside but the outside is incredible.
Scott Cooper: Best in St Louis. We visited here a little ways back and were completely enchanted by the atmosphere, the staff and the beer. Great selection, we both did flights and thoroughly enjoyed every choice. We loved the exposed brick and expansive layout of the facility. They had a charger for our car, in the parking lot, which is why we initially went, but we certainly found a highlight to our trip to the city. If we can, we will return.
Stephen Blake: First time at this location, and it's great! Lots of space indoors and, when it's not too hot, a great outdoor space as well. Love the beer at UCBC
Robert Newsome: Good brews and had live music
Danielle C.: Um 5th annual crawfish boil yes please! One word.FIRE!
Molly Matthews: Confused? A friend of our was scoping this out as a potential rehearsal dinner space and had already reached out to somebody for pricing and details. We popped in to check it out with her and instead of walking down to show her the space, the bartender said SHE could walk HERSELF down and look in the windows to see for herself if she liked the venue. He said he couldn’t risk walking down to show her in case it got too busy. There were THREE people behind the bar and a collective EIGHT people actually patronizing the place. I thought maybe he just didn’t have a key or something so I asked another employee if it truly was not possible for somebody to show us the space. She basically slammed my food order number on the counter and said she had to get my food started. The event space is attached to the taproom. It would have taken maybe 5 minutes of their time. Yikes.
Ellen Hunt: Closed 3 hours early with no notice.

Bluewood Brewing: what do users think?
Michael Kenyon: This is located in a historic part of old St Louis and has great charm and old world ambience. Decent craft beers and a burger place was operating inside the brewery. The main seating area reminded me of a giant den in a castle where you sit with a brew and swap stories in front of a large fireplace.
Shaun Aragon: Great brewery with a nice atmosphere.
steve giltner: EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Michael Binkley: The inside is as impressive as their beer selection. I came in for a trivia night (Thursdays) and had a great time.
Rachel Woodall: If you're looking for a great local brewery with a fun and welcoming atmosphere, Bluewood Brewing is it! I love the friendly atmosphere. The space is large and open, with high ceilings and plenty of seating. Everyone there is knowledgeable and passionate about their beer, always happy to answer any questions and make recommendations based on your preferences. I also really like that they offer creative cocktails and just a bourbon and coke if that's what you want. Also can't forget their awesome patio!
Ryan Stanton: Honestly the beer is pretty impressive in a city that has alot of good microbrews. The building is pretty cool with a stellar patio. They also have food now too
Derek Theisen: Fantastic beer and some of the best mead in the city. Their barrel aged releases have been fantastic since before they even opened and their IPAs and fruited berliners can rival some of the best. Good people, good beer, in a great historic space
Jake Tweedy: Awesome place! Awesome people. Very cool building, beer is killer and so is the mead! Super friendly staff
David Bennett: Lot's of microbrew beer selections. Awesome old building and architecture.
Jim T: Our favorite St Louis brewery. Great selection of mostly their own beer with some other local brews thrown in. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Kyle Smith: Good beer in a cool old Lemp building. I’d personally add some more historical Falstaff/Lemp pictures and memorabilia on the wall, there are some cans, etc but I’d embrace that history!!
Brian McGee: Overpriced, can grill better food at home
Michael Hagmeier: Friendly staff, delicious beer. I am looking forward to exploring their different beers. If you like Brown Ale, I recommend the Battle Stag.
JB Monte: Very cool place. Good food and beer.
g tav: Super nice spot I would definitely recommend, that being said there's a ton of different breweries in the area but this place puts itself head above shoulders of the rest with such a great knowledgeable beer staff, fantastic representation of all different types of beer flavors, highly recommend
Randall Ramage: Wow. Don't miss this stop on a STL brewery tour. Beautiful old building with history. Both the IPA and imperial IPA are really good. Easy to find and easy to park. Nice people behind the bar and really comfortable atmosphere with the fireplace and Christmas decorations.
Joe McGee: The beer was excellent. Not to mention the chill vibe. Also highly recommend the sliders at 809. Can't wait to come back.
Jake: Great atmosphere and great beers
Tequila Quinn: 809 Burgers was the best. Everything was great and the environment was pretty laid back and chill.
krista moulder: Great beers and fun space
Floyd Underwood: Absolutely love this place, great decor, live bands on the weekends, and perfect tasting small batch local brews with an extravagant variety of types and flavors. They also have board games set out for visitors to use and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Nicholas Marrocco: Incredible selection of great beers, very friendly staff and a comfortable patio make this a wonderful spot to hang with friends.
Miles Larson: Great beer, very friendly staff
Laura De La Cruz: Great beer - outstanding Blue Cheese Salad and damn those beans!!! Wow!!
snookchaser snookchaser: Don’t miss this one. The beers have a depth to them not often found.
Andrew Workman: Fun night. Great patio.
Matthew Long: Heavy Riff is an unsung hero of the Stl brewery scene. They have the best food (bbq) of any stl brewery and their beer is top notch with a wide variety of styles.
king marketer: Nachos are ok ! Beer amazing
Adam Speichinger: Always a great time. Delicious beer and good food. Try the Riff chips as your side.
Elizabeth Loudon: The coffee brown was good, but I didn't expect this 6.5% beer to come in a 10 oz pour for nearly $9 after tip. Had to struggle to get the menu because my phone has been having freezing issues and they don't stock a single paper menu to even see the taplist. Spent several minutes getting on the wifi and then finally got to order, and still didn't see I was ordering such a small pour on the mobile menu. No Togo beer prices listed, or maybe I would have bought some. Got to the bathroom and the toilet was running perpetually, so I had to reset the handle and wait ages for it to refill to flush. The outside area is nice, but I just don't know if this would be a place I would return. The menu issue was pretty significant for me. I don't understand why I should have a fast and charged phone to patronize this place. There is good beer all over this city, so why stop here? Maybe I'll give it another chance when I can try the food, but there's no food on Sundays.
Ryan Eason: Small microbrew. They have about 10 tables and a bar. Love their barrel aged beers. I like most of the beer I've tried here. Love their barbecue Asian wrap. It's some of the best barbecue in Saint Louis. They do run out sometimes though. They sell some of their beers to go in bottles but it's pricey at $14 a bottle.
Bill Belgeri: I have tried there products but this is my first in person visit an you can bet I'll be bavk.
Suzanne S: Great beer. Ordered the pulled pork nachos and they were pretty good. Definitely will be back to try additional food and other beer.
Matt Weaver: Heavy Riff is always a great time. The food is surprisingly delicious. The smoked reuben is a go-to! They also usually have a Saturday special of a loaded spud. highly recommended. The draft beer selection is always very good and they have a lot of variety of craft beer.
Jesse Ponzar: Great beer.
eric kurfman: Not so impressed. Fairly pricey. Although I was impressed they allow food from outside venues on Sunday. Meh.
Andrew Ulrich: The beer is amazing. The pretzels on one menu say pretzels. The other says bread. That being said, you either get awesome bread or bad pretzels. Adjust your expectations accordingly
Michael Jarvis: Great bar with wonderful beer and service
William Gandolfo: Good beer, good vibes, nice place, good service.
