Eric Wilkinson: The staff was great on a Wednesday night. We were there after a show at blueberry hill because it seems like the staff there just wants to close the place up all the time. They have sidewalk seating but they didn't let people take drinks out there after the show. Headed here and found a way more chill staff. They even had to kick out some douchy guy who called himself Z Man and was decked out in sports clothes. He kept talking about pearl jam and stone temple pilots and threatening to fight people. It didn't seem to phase them too much. It did not ruin their night or turn them into Debbie downers. They just carried on being cool.
DaChe Neal: Me and my family was outside standing up smoking a cigarette and drinking slushies before entering in. The white guy at the door passed up all the white people outside drinking liquor and came directly to us and told us we can not sit on the property or enter in with any liquid and told us it doesn’t matter if it’s liquor water or juice we could not drink it outside on a public sidewalk or inside. I feel this was the most racist act and others also felt the same that were about to go in and turned around and left. I WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY AT THIS BOWLING ALLEY AGAIN I LIVE IN THE DELMAR LOOP AND I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS AND TONIGHTS EXPERIENCE HAS MADE ME LOOK AT THIS PLACE TOTALLY DIFFERENT!! PIN UP NEEDS TO DO BETTER AND TREAT EVEYRY RACE EQUALLY THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN SHOULD NEVER MATTER ALL MONEY AND CUSTOMERS ARE THE SAME THIS IS THE LAND OF THE FREE WE ARE NOT SLAVES!!!

Dee Tee: Cute small bar and bowling alley. The atmosphere and decor is fun. The tvs at the end of the lanes are a bit distracting and the lanes are pretty close together so if it gets busy you are kinda on top of each other. Only issue I've had staff wise is when a lane has issues it takes a while to get things going again.

Teresha Williams: If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I got off work at 7pm and then picked my husband up for us to go on a date night. I thought of bowling and Pin Up is not far from my house, so I decided to go there. We went in and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. I asked if we could pay now, so we could bowl once a lane was available. She said that they couldn't, so my husband and I decided to sit at the bar and order food and eat while we wait. We got to the bar and the bartender walked from the back which was on the side we were sitting on and walked right past us. He went to the end of the bar and helped someone else out. Then right after, a group of young males walked in and he walked right over to them after servicing the person at the end of the bar. They asked about bowling and he told them it would be 45 minutes. He then walked off over to the counter where the lady was that told us it would be 45 minutes. He came back over to the group and told them that he put them on the list. He walked right past us again and looked right at us and said nothing and then kept walking. We were never told that there was a list we could have gotten on and was never even addressed at the bar. It seemed as if we were invisible. The bar was empty besides my husband and I and the person at the end of the bar, before the group of young men walked in. I will never go here ever again. This was my first and last time going to Pin Up Bowl. Horrible service, and I felt it was racial. I advised people to not patronize this business. Let's stick together as a community because business like this should not be tolerated. Disgusted....

Even after a 3 hour visit and $300 spent, they still would not even speak to us. Had to flag them down or yell to get their attention every time we wanted to order drinks or food. Really disappointed with our visit.

Bowling until very late at night on most days, good food until pretty late at night most days, friendly staff that anyone can get along with, and a tight, nice cozy space to have fun in.You really got to be appreciative of what this staff is capable of doing, especially for a city like this. It's always a good time to come bowl, Monday nights are all you can bowl, they have specials throughout the week, and you can even pick your own music.

It is an 8 lane house attached to the school gym of Epiphany's parish in south St.Louis just a few blocks off of 44 & Jameison.They offer great rates and prices for private parties and fund raising events as well as food packages for your event. April McLaughlin: Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! A very small group of us called ahead during a Thursday day (most alleys have day leagues) to see if they had open lanes, as we were coming from a work event close by and all other known places weren’t open play. We walk in and the gentleman is incredibly dismissive , rude, just completely shocked at how terrible he was. We explained we wanted to bowl. He acted like he didn’t want the business and the ENTIRE. Alley was empty.. he said he guessed he had lanes for us and just acted like he didn’t have the time to have any customers and like it was a hassle. Also, no drinks or food or anything was “available” - he pointed to a vending machine when we asked. After a few negative comments and behavior from him, we left before even attempting to stay. Wouldn’t recommend this . He should be shut down seriously. It was the worst experience.

I would also suggest that if you have a game room then you should probably have quarters available. One older gentleman in particular was especially not too happy to be working and questioned why I got extra napkins. If I'm ordering food I feel as though I should be able to get napkins without being questioned. We had a huge party so I feel as though 10 napkins was an acceptable amount. Our party easily spent over $500 within the two hours that we were there. We did not feel welcome and will never hold another party at this establishment.

Ed Sampa': Not a place I ever want to spend money again. I paid for 2hrs of bowling and was cut off 20 mins early because of reservations but they refused to pay me the difference. Had a confrontation with one of the workers and somehow I was wrong. Went back months later bowled at an overpriced rate and as I was paying to leave I was told to never come back because of the prior incident. I was talked to badly again and sensed racial energy. Never going back as long as I am able to bowl.

Aaron Thomas: Met up with family in St Louis and wanted something to do to kick off our vacation. Had a wonderful time. The bartender/lane manager was an absolute delight as she made our first night in Missouri unforgettable by serving us drinks, helping us find good food, and even offering to take pictures here. Honestly can't say one negative thing because one doesn't exist.

william guinan: The only secound floor bowling alley west of the Mississippi, brunswick Centennial tables they are worth $$$$$, learned to shoot pool in here 50 years ago , played 9 ball against some great players , some famous players , was stock boy across the street when Kmart was there spent a lot nights in 80 drinking bottle beer and shooting pool. All those years never bowled one game in there. How I miss home

Chris Dornfeld: There are not many bowling alleys on the second floor these days, and maybe only one that is over 100 years old! Saratoga is a classic - from the minute you walk up the stairs you can smell the distinct aroma of stale beer, shoe cleaner and bowling machines. Throw in a few pool tables, pinball machine and juke box and you have one great evening waiting to happen. Worth the trip!

Thomas Furgason: The bowling attendant was nice, the female bartender was very rude, the male bartender made subpar drinks. The bowling equipment seems to be unmaintained, the screens flickered, multiple jams that the alley attendant had to fix. As we closed our tab, a argument started because the female bartender was rude to a customer and they started to yell and the ID checker (bouncer?) had to step in and remove a group. The front door was busted out and had plywood covering the windows. We had a decent time, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

K2gd: Temper this with the fact it was late night, the staff were quite touchy. The place was showing its age. The food looked good. There quite a few young people bowling on the 6 lanes available. Everyone appeared to be having fun.
Tom Howell: Everything about it is vintage, including the screens that don’t work and the bowling shoes that were worn smooth. The lanes weren’t oiled at all, resulting in frustration for everyone. Staff were dead and expressionless, but they did get the drink order right.

Madelyn Russell: This place and 2 of their employees are very strange.. I got a soda out of the vending machine and it expired March 13th 2023, so I went up to the front desk and told the older gentleman there that my soda is expired and asked for my $2.75 back, which he did give me the $2.75 back. So then I tried to get different a soda from the vending machine and it was also expired. So I again tell him that the second soda is expired and he tells me “we just got them in, it’s fine” pretty rudely. But of course the soda tasted very flat like I knew it would. I gave up on trying to get a soda and just threw it away. Not to mention this guy also starred at me and my friends the rest of the time we were there bowling. The second employee (which I’m not quite sure if she was an employee or not) kept saying have a good Memorial Day weekend about four times? Even though we told her “you too”. I don’t know this place is just weird.

David Grovenberry: We had the whole place all weekend for a bowling tournament. We had to rerack several times due to the racks being incomplete. There were also excessive amounts of what appeared to be clumps of black grease coming back on some of our balls.

Luke Antrobus: It's definitely a bowling alley. The bar was nice, but the pool tables where expensive to play on and lacked good sticks. Smoking is allowed in the bar area.The lanes themselves seemed alright. Definitely not vintage and beat up. Rented shoes weren't from last decade. Ball return seemed a little slow, but I'm probably impatient.The lighting in the place was good and the bathrooms were in really good shape. Definitely a solid spot to throw a few strikes.

RoseInSTL: One of the cleanest bowling alleys in town. From the lanes to the restrooms. Staff was helpful and timely with drinks and food considering we went on a really crowded night. The only thing they need to do is upgrade the score boards to flatscreens everyone in our party had trouble trying to see the numbers because the outdated tv’s were so blurry and cutting some of the double digit numbers off.

Eli Olson: Due to COVID restrictions, water fountains were turned off, however the bar still refused to serve water. They claimed it led to underage drinking. When I offered to show my ID, I was still refused a glass of water. On another note, shoe guy refused to acknowledge a free game of bowling promo straight off their website. Staff overall was far from pleasant and the alley itself is nothing to write home about. Very outdated, cheapest seating options you can find.

Larisa Libic: Bowling alley was nice BUT the snack bar lady was EXTREMELY rude. She took 3 other peoples’ orders before me KNOWING I was standing there atleast 10 minutes before they even walked in. Next, she gave me attitude because I had to pause to ask my husband what he wanted to drink due to her rushing. She asked for my family to move out and eat in the lobby even though there was plenty of space for others to come in and stand. On top of it all, she didn’t let my husband pick up the plates off the counter to bring me the food because “you weren’t the one who ordered it” extremely petty if you ask me. She knew we were together and ordered together. Overall disaster even though the place itself was nice. Do not recommend eating if she’s working because she will ruin your time. 😃

hank contos: I absolutely love coming to this establishment. The workers are friendly and it is a fun place to bowl. It doesn't hurt if my average is +15 pins at this house. The only downside is that they seem to be closed most holidays. However, the reasonable price, fun atmosphere, great employees makes a day at these lanes an awesome experience.

Jenny Riley: The bowling alley is clean. Bowling is $3.50/person per game. Not a bad price. Can't give it 5 stars just due to the atmosphere. The lanes are very cramped - you have to share seating with the lane next to you, and the tables are behind the chairs, so it's difficult to sit and eat/drink while waiting your turn to bowl. Just not the best set-up for bowling with groups that I've seen.
