Horseshoe Lake State Park Boat Ramp: what do users think?
Mariah Nelson: Peaceful and romantic ❤️💙
Assmartech: This is a great place for fishing if you like to fish. It's also excellent place to bring the family for picnics. The only thing I have trouble with is the boat ramp is a little steep. But not too steep to get your boat in the water. There's a lot of nice size fish in the water and a beautiful nature scenery.
Dark Cloud: Not bad kinda small ramp the water is only 3 feet deep so ya not bad
Marjorie Vantreece: Be very careful big water snake hangs around there
Dion Eiche: Awesome little Lake in Granite City Illinois
Das Giest78: Excellent place for kayaking and fishing
William Hodge: Very good place to fish just don't eat them
Chris Hill: I always go fishing there, its a nice place for fishng, biking and holding family gatherings.
T N: I love riding my bike around the lake
Jeff L: Local gem, my family loves it here. Probably the only reason we still live in Granite City.
Sean Cook: It's nice but the men that are there seem a little odd they're just sitting there.
Chris Davis: It is a functional boat ramp, just barely. Works great for us to float fly RC airplanes from, but not great for boat launching.
Dustin Smith: Perfect for boat jumps. #extremeboats
Nichole Garcia: Beautiful place, but hard to catch fish. Water is not deep at all
Mr CM: Water low
Kenny Jankowski: Great place to fish monster catfish but you need to be in a boat to get to the hot spots
Louie Hancock: Great escape place
Donald Morgan: Great fishing
Steven Smith: Pretty
James Brown: Really cool park!

Flamm City Public Boat Ramp: what do users think?
Samuel Wright: It is a grocery store. Fairly common items. Bakery has cut back on their selection. Deli good. Check out staff very polite and friendly.
Mark Sheppard: Pay no attention to people who give one star ratings because the RIVER IS LOW. I'ts NOT the ramp's fault. This is one of the best spots on the Meramec River.
Bryan Eckart: Do not use this when the water is low, like today. There is a 1 foot drop off at the end of the ramp. I watched two different people bend/brake their trailer axle because of the drop off. Would be very nice when the water is up.
Ralph C: Nice little boat ramp and wasn't busy at all when I went.
Joan Genovese: Great place to launch a boat.
David Moore: It is a great ramp. Me and my dad use it every weekend. The only thing we wish it had was a dusk to dawn light and some sort of marker on the top of the ramp
hogan haake: It's great for canoe and kayaks, but low water will turn away anything bigger as it is very shallow.
Tiffany Balow: A bit muddy.
jason gamache: Not enough fishing on land
Dean Marston: Being new to the area, and a fisherman wanna be (not pro), the descriptions given on terrain and other possible hazards along with the information on fishing and boating were well described. I almost feel like I have been there already. Thanks
Tim Lurkins: The ramp had major floods problems in summer 19. The bottom of the ramp was washing out as of 2018 and I doubt city of Arnold is going to fix that problem. Otherwise, the park is good for launching and the police do a good rotation of rounds through here so it feels safe.
Tony Pezzo: Nice place to fish.
Chris Wymer: Always Open access to the Meramec River
KATIE MARIE: A little run down and it's always entertaining
McGrady: Good ramp when Mississippi River back floods Meramec. Floods out / closes near St. Louis gage of 24 feet.
Murtada Shihab: Beautiful area to have a picnic next to the river!!
Jim Broderick: Great ramp when river isn't too low. Easy access. Bait shop with minnows near by.
Glen Sinks: Not clean. Sketchy people hanging around. Good parking. Needs some love and a street sweeper. A police officer would also be good.
Robert Vilmure: Good ramp to use
Holly Farrar: Lovely place to fish. The 1st time there my fiancee caught a 10.5 lb. catfish. There were a lot of gar the 2nd time we went, but still peaceful and fun. Get there early! And please pick up after yourselves.
The Recar Family: Free boat ramp

Meramec Greenway Trailhead: Meramec Landing Park Boat Ramp: what do users think?
Dan StlMo: Interesting, good experience, lots of options and opportunities.
Paul Whitten: We really like cycling this trail. There are restrooms near each end and the lake. Easy access to parking. Paved and relatively flat. Pretty scenery. Watch out for the deer.
Scott Perdue: There’s a nice, hidden single track mountain bike trail here that runs parallel to the Meramec Greenway through the trees.
Will Hanke: Great trail and nice place to park. Plus a cool mountain bike trail
Lynda Breckle: Love it
michael mccabe: Arnold's Grove Trailhead where we went under the bridge we saw many Nest cliff swallows bird song under Highway bridge - great spending day on walking trail
Tim Nolen: This quite a nice find.It is a bit out of the way, but it is so secluded. Which offers a nice quiet and peaceful spot to hide from the world. Though I image in Spring, Summer, and Fall is a little busier, as it near some Soccer fields. From this area you can see a nice section of the Meramec River and it's banks. For photography buffs, there is place to get a shot of a train bridge.
Paul Furrer: This park is part of the Meremac Greenway, and has a nice path, which is suitable for walking, jogging, and bicycling. The scenery is beautiful, and the boat ramp is in great condition. There are restroom facilities on site, and ample parking. This is a great place to walk my dog. We'll be back!
Jason Walker: Nature at its best
Mary Schmit: Wonderful place to just get away!
Aaron Roberts: This boat ramp has been upgraded with a new parking lot and lighting since the last time I visited. It's right on the scenic walking trail along the Meramec River.
Sherita Boursh: Great place to fish but the water smells like wet sour tabicco
Edward Williams, Jr: A good getaway from the city. Nice hiking.
Nick Adams: What's there to say? It's a boat launching ramp and a parking lot
Reginald Wilson: Just great
Jin Zou (阿瑾): Great Park for family gethering

St. Ellen Mine Lake Boat Ramp: what do users think?
Stanley Johnson: Love spending time in nature and one of my fishing spots.
Ladee “Mojo” Face: Was a new experience. First Kayaking trip while attempting to fish. Was quite difficult.
Kevin T.: I love this park
Mahlon: I mainly visit for the loop trail going up the mound that overlooks St. Ellen's lake. Very peaceful area to ride your bike, go for a brief hike, or make it last as long as you care to. It is a good, easy, brief hike for anyone wanting to start working on physical fitness without joining a gym.
Mary Trobaugh: St. Ellen Mine Park is a beautiful, quiet little park at the end of the road by Aldis in O'Fallon. A fried & I like to go there to eat when we get food from Steak n Shake just down the road. The park just has one pavilion, 1 trash can and about 10 parking places. It is so peaceful & serene. Unfortunately apparently others who have the same idea (to eat there) are too lazy & inconsiderate to keep it looking nice for others who come after them. I picked up about 12 pieces of trash (food bags & wrappers, water bottles, etc.) & put it in the trash can. No big deal. Come on people, if I can do it, so can you!!😔😒😏
Steve Boggs: It's a beautiful little community lake, but I think some clean up is in order. The lake is so overrun with weeds, fishing from the bank is limited to just a couple of open spots. The apartment side of the lake is clear, but you have to be a resident or have permission to fish on that side.
John Popek: Great place
Tommie Brooks: Very nice secluded park.Great for walking your dogs or running 🏃‍♂️
J Farris: Great fishing when you can. Then hydrilla takes over. Really hard to fish after it does. Would give it 5 stars for fishing but the hydrilla issue is really bad. Wish who main Maintains the park would take care of the hydrilla problem.
Arthur Jones: Beautiful beautiful place! I wish it were bigger but its perfect for a quick scenic workout on my bike!
Eric Haeberle: This place, meaning the entire park, would be a good place to have outdoor concerts, fairs, festivals, etc.
Randall Ridgley: The path to the top winds back and forth, making it an easy ascent, to a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. There's a path around the base of this manmade hill that provides a relatively level walk for those not inclined to an incline. This is a nice place for a picnic lunch, with a small gazebo and 4 picnic tables provided for your use. Restrooms are provided, as well.
vera madkins: Nice Park for walking and fishing. A quiet, qick getaway from the hassle and basle in the area.
Zach Whitwell: Great spot to fish if they'd maintain the water and the areas around it.
Dennis j Zrenner: I'll meet ya at the boat dock
Khamela Johnson: Do have snakes, and strong lake smell but great paths.
Patricia Cde Baca: Very peaceful and kid and animal friendly. Nice walking/bike paths and has pavillion to provide shelter from weather if needed
Larry Swift: Nice bass and blugill....if you can get thru the mass of weeds.
Duke Cebrelli: Great for kayak fishing
Erica: Beautiful place to walk with a view. The only negative, porta potties for bathrooms. I wish there was a permanent bathroom building with a changing table for both men and women bathrooms.
Sean Hall: Excellent spot for kayaking and fishing!

Fatima Cano Peinado: I call this my happy place
Andrew Ruiz: Amazing
Randy Mccracken: Very pretty, peaceful, fishing is a little rough but it's worth it plus the Katy trail runs right through it
Christeen Menchak: Miss Ray's but a nice job cleaning it up. Needs a shop and more boat ramps
Scott Thompson: Great place to park and bike
Lisa Ann Herrick: Love this place for just a quiet place to sit or get out and walk the trails... Both Good for the mind, body, and soul!!
Richard Lindsey: Very nice big parking lot for yourTruck and trailer and very nice and wide boat ramp.to put your boat in the water are take it out!!!!
Dan “Bicycle” Smith: Always one of the best views in North county
Deepfriedrlc@yahoo.com 19duckclub: Ramp was muddy touch landing a boat
Bill F: Nice boat landing on the Missouri River. Have a bathroom here and some nice trails that go right along the edge of the river.
Carla Elston: My husband and I like to go watch the river
Felicia Murray: Very nice area
Angela Layman: I paddled the Race For the Rivers event and this is where the paddle ended. I was on a paddleboard.I've seen people in boats with motors use this ramp too. There are long parking spots for people with trailers available.
R: The homeless problem is out of control in this area. Parking your car here is a serious risk.
Eric Crawford: Easy access boat ramp.
B. Crawford: Boat ramp, public toilet, parking next Katy Trail.
Justin Jackson: Went up to look at the river and watch the power of nature go by...
Patricia Mitchell: Peaceful place to just sit and watch the river. Love it.
Wayne Lewis: A boat ramp with basic public facilities (restroom) and a large lit parking lot. All in great condition. A great place to sit close to the Missouri, relax, and watch it flow by. Adjacent to a walking trail that follows the edge of the river and a direct connection to Katy Trail. When the Missouri is high, it definitely floods.
barry garner: Great place to go walking and staying healthy and young
Ali: A good quite boat ramp in Missouri River with enough parking spaces and restrooms, it is near Katy Trail in St Charles, MO, the ramp is long enough so when water is low, still it is usable, it is good for kayaking too, be careful about rocks around the ramp,
