These guys are great to work with, understand the expectations on quality installations, great at communicating, and always get me in out. I would have rated this lower had it not been for the friendly staff there in the office and the guy (chris) who went over what I wanted done when I dropped it offHad two graphs installed and a transducer on the transom. I would have done this stuff myself, but I wanted a professional, clean installation. That's not what I got... The screws holding the mount to the dash were all stripped. Some of the screws had worked themselves completely out during the trip home. The screws holding the graph to the mount panel were incorrectly put in at an angle and didn't even make it through the fiberglass. The cutout was so rough that the screws barely made it through it. I spent 2-3hours taking everything apart and getting new hardware at the store to mount it properly. In addition to all of this, they didn't vacuum the mess they made in the carpet nor wipe down the debris on the dash. Seems odd given they work on brand new $60k bass boats. I had this boat pristine when it came in and it should have left in same condition. I hate leaving reviews like this, but c'mon...take some pride in your work. I've never worked on someone's car or boat and not cleaned my mess at least. Not sure if I will be back unless im getting parts from the guys up front. They were great 👍

Craig Boland: Had my Ranger serviced here recently. 100 hr maintenance on my Mercury 225 Pro XS. Also asked them to replace the pigtail connector on the trailer and check the surge brakes. When I picked up the boat, one trailer light we not working. The pigtail connector was the wrong plug type so they added an adapter and the whole thing was way too long and dragged unless tied up. The wiring was routed outside of the tongue instead of through it as it should have been. They had told me the surge brakes were good but when I checked the reservoir, it was nearly empty so it obviously wasn't checked. When I noticed that the invoice didn't mention changing the lower unit lube, I called them and they said it had been done but they forgot to bill it. I checked the lube through the upper plug and it was solid black so I had to change it myself. That could have been disastrous for my lower unit. Terrible.

It took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach someone to cancel the order with no customer service. No offer to remedy the situation or to retain a loyal customer. If they cannot handle online business they should shut it down until they figure it out. I went to a competitor and will have my order in a few daysUPDATE: (changed to 3 stars) so I found out the order could not be canceled due to it already being packed but not shipped. Customer service times where a lot less today and I reached a very helpful associate. I paid for expensive expedited shipping which is pointless if the order took over a week to package. the West Marine associate actually removed the shipping charge completely and is still gonna deliver it in 2 days. the difference of help from the first associate to the second associate is huge if I would have been able to speak to the second associate when I have the initial issue I was not inclined to post a negative review.
Merlyn Stevens: Called to see if they had thermostat and the guy on phone just kept repeating I'm trying to close store down when it was 40 mins after they closed. They had to have store locked already just wanted to rush out of there instead of thinking about how he was rude to a customer that has spent alot of money there. I finally asked can you just tell me if you have thermostat and he barks back we have lots of thermostats! .

Darin OConnell: Had my boat serviced and a modification to the cover for the trolling motor. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I was quoted for the modification to add a little more room for the trolling motor. It looked great and they even added a couple extra straps for better fit. Had a couple minor things noted when I picked it up and they squared things away no issues. Great shop I’ll be back for sure!

Andrew Kreigh: My wife and I recently moved from Wisconsin to the St. Louis area. When we did we sold our boat we had. This fall we bought a new to us used formula fastech. Every service center that I called to get the boat winterized and to have it gone through with a fine tooth comb acted like our boat was a huge inconvenience to them. Cope marine was the total opposite. Shane, the owner, was super willing to help us out with whatever we needed. In fact, the service was so good I’m writing this review before we even got the boat back! I’m a firm believer in trusting my gut and my gut says this is the best place around Saint Louis to take your boat!
Stanley Abernathy: Very expensive on everything. Had two holes on my boat cover one the size of a half dollar the other a rip the size of a dollar bill . Charged me $150.00. Probably took 15 minutes to repair . Will not go back !!

boone t: Super nice people. I was running late to drop off my boat , Mike called me to make sure I’m still coming. Tony kept the service department opened after closing time to make sure i got checked in and all my questions were addressed. Todd the boat engine mechanic consulted with me at least 4 times to explain everything to me so that I understood what was needed done and answered all my questions related to the repair, boat , trailer and general boating and beyond.. I got my water pump impeller replaced and new carburetor kit installed in a week.

Hartley Abner: Do not take your boat here!!!! For starters, they said they fixed our boat the first time we took it there and then it proceeded to die on us the next two times that we took it out, so they did not fix the issue the first time. We took it back to them for the second time, which was a terrible idea and a big mistake. It took them over a year to fix our boat because they said they were “waiting on a part.” And then when we finally got our boat back over a year later, this is what it looked like. Absolutely disgusting because they kept it outside without the cover on for an entire year. Absolutely terrible customer service and poor quality of care.

Doug Weisman: This place is a joke , charged me 900 dollars to replace my water pump, my engine had never overheated and that's not why I took there , it was bogging down and stalling out , 200 dollar charge just to Lake test and 100 dollars an hour for them to guess , they hadn't even started on the problem and my bill was 900 , maybe good at selling new boats but wouldn't trust them to touch your engine unless you have alot of money and are willing to pay them for guess work , when I talk to Mike and questioned my bill he said he has to keep the doors open on this place , WOW , not the type of busses I want to deal with

sierra davyn jolliff: I inquired about a boat online last week, and zeke had informed me it was under contract, no big deal for me i was just starting to get into the market for a boat. Told him to let me know if anything changed, he texted me tuesday morning letting me know it is still available. He was super incredible with helping me figure out the financing and what my bank needed over the phone, got the buyers order sent over, and super quick responses to any questions i had. When I went to view the boat, it was kept incredibly clean, and they took good care of making sure everything worked and functioned properly! He did tell me it would be a $500 deposit for a test drive which did stress me out some (i helped my boyfriend purchase a vehicle the day prior) and he ended up bypassing the deposit and taking me out on the water anyways which i greatly appreciated! Although I wish it was summer so I can take it out immediately, he is going to winterize the boat back for me at no charge which is AWESOME!! On our test drive we had a minor mishap with one of the hoses, which he told me today he is ordering the part and fixing the remaining issues before allowing me to take the boat, which is so appreciated so i won’t have any further issues down the road. I have not picked up the boat yet, but the service Zeke and his team have provided to me so far is beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a boat, don’t overlook these guys!
Dom: Do a better job of directing traffic. How do you expect a car to come to full stop when the flag men isn’t even near the intersection to direct traffic?Car is going 40 mph, then SCBM truck decides to pull out expecting traffic to come to safe stop. Train your drivers and crewmen better!The speed limit is actually 35mph and you actually have a duty to direct traffic, especially if you suddenly plan to BLOCK THE ROAD WITH ZERO WARNING!

The documents were prepared before I get to the store by Janet Sims. She was so ditailed. The attention I received there made me feel special. It was great experience working with them. I'm recommending this dealer to everyone especially people with no knowledge.
t leonard: Beware of the body shop and zeek who runs the body shop. We had some fiberglass damage that we brought to st. Charles boat and motor to have repaired. The first repair went well. Then the repair failed ( fiberglass had major cracking looked just like before it was fixed) brought boat back to be fixed again. After 6 weeks called to check on repair time zeek was very rude saying they don't normally fix stress cracks, And it would still be a few weeks. Get boat back and it's filthy. Things that had to be taken out of storage compartents for the repair to be done left all over the boat. Bimini bracket installed backwards witch led to more damage when the top was lifted. Rusty parts left on our new sea deck😬. What terrible service. I used to recommend them to anyone who would ask. NEVER AGAIN!!!
