Mark Cannoneer: Before the COVID Lockdown, I had wanted to try SCBC. The lockdown came and I forgot about it. There was a discussion on Nextdoor about where to get a good inexpensive haircut. SCBC was mentioned. I decided to check it out. I was there today to get a crewcut. I arrived at 2:05. Closing time was posted as 2:30. I was greeted at the door. Cory came around the corner and introduced himself. The crewcut I received over the next 35 minutes was the most considerate crewcut I have ever had.My crewcuts in the past were very fast and the cut was uneven.I could feel the clippers bouncing across my scalp. I have been to 5 or 6 barbershops over the last 40 years and SCBC and Cory is the best. This young man, Cory, stayed afterschool to take first class care of me. There was no mention of closing time. I left a good tip. I will not return to those other barbershops. I will be a regular at SCBC. You need to go there and see for yourselves.

GM Jones: We travel, but when I'm in StL/StC THIS is where I get my hair cut. I was blessed by Patrick today (with some guidance from Bri).Instructor Jarrod was nearby-I really appreciated watching his interaction with the students: calm, encouraging. He stepped in to teach Patrick a different technique for lining the front of my hair.Jarrod: did not act like a know- it- all, but rather as a mentor.Patrick: was humble, eager to learn the new technique, and thanked his instructor.Other students: there is such a spirit of comraderie and positivity between barbers on the floor, and even those heading to the classroom.As a customer/guinea pig :-) I am happy to spend my money at SCBC- it is obvious that the students are learning much more than how yup cut hair: they are learning to be professionals - who cut hair. I'm glad to be a part of their journey!
Dustyn Briggs: Not everyone that goes to school here makes it. I graduated in 2020 and quickly found out as a student I was drastically unprepared for the theory test. Im Still trying to pass.No barber license, no job, no money. So far Going to this school has been the biggest financial mistake of my life.

H H: I received one of the best haircuts and shaves in all of my 42yrs here. I’m totally impressed by the professionalism and abilities of all these “students “. These guys are grade A barbers and still have a passion for their craft, you can’t purchase passion. I highly recommend this place.

My son told him what he wanted and it turned out AWESOME and perfectly lined up!!! Also, Mr. Price (owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming, along with the rest of the staff. Matt Jones: $8 haircut billboard grabbed my attention. I had Levi cut my hair and it was 10/10 for sure. This was Friday afternoon btw. He took his time and carefully went over everything to make sure it was perfect. Jarrad who appeared to be the manager or something checked by multiple times and made sure everything was perfect. I will be coming back.
