Saint Louis Ballet: what do users think?
Monica K: Great dance school with lots of class offerings. Many are taught by dancers in the company. Most classes are for school aged children, but there are adult classes I love that they have an adult beginner ballet class. Michael is a great teacher. Sessions start in the fall and run all year. If you are a true beginner, start at the beginning of a session. If you are an intermediate or advanced beginner, you could join mid-session. Drop-in rate is $20 per class. You can also buy a class card, or pay monthly tuition. Staff is helpful and responsive with questions or assistance.
Megan R: My daughter loves her ballet class and she absolutely adores Ms Dana! She knows every week which day she gets to go to ballet, and she is always so excited about it. She frequently tells me about how much she loves Ms Dana- my daughter can’t wait to see her and give her a hug every time she goes to class. I’m definitely glad we picked SLB for my daughter!
Evelyn: Love!!
Dr. Albert Sanders: Amazing atmosphere for the technical aspects of dance especially ballet. My daughter continues to love the experience and has grown so much!!
Sharon R.: My daughter started ballet at age 3. Moving on to add jazz, hip-hop & tap as she gotten older. Professional dancers, understanding gifted instructors all the way through performances & recitals. They build up my daughter self-esteem, critique ballet positions as needed which build a positive relationship as she continue her medical degree in college. Thank you for the memories & support! 😊
Tim Huang: My daughter goes here. Professional teacher
Rose Fox: Always awesome experience every time!
Chris Evans: London Evans
Vivica Foxwell: St Louis only professional ballet company. Provides classes for toddlers up. Friendly, welcoming staff. Nonprofit.
Samantha Denny: We are really very lucky to have the treasure that is the Saint Louis Ballet. Relative to the size of St. Louis, the Saint Louis Ballet is a much better program than would normally be in a city of our size.Led by the amazing director Gen Horiuchi, I have been coming to see their shows for quite a few years now and I am always amazed by the caliber of the dancers' performance. The technical aspects of the shows are also incredibly impressive; everything from the costumes and sets to the consistently high caliber sound and lighting design (courtesy of technical director James Dolan).I see every show I can (usually they are at The Blanche Touhill performing arts Center), with this upcoming Valentine's day show (Balanchine's Rubies) being no exception.
Michael Bloodgood: Great performances every time!
James Jones: My child enjoys this school. I hate the bill. However, they earn it.
Inés de Erausquin: As a pianist for the Company I get a rare opportunity to see the dancers "behind the scenes." They are wonderful people and incredible artists, making even their warm-up beautiful. The performances I have seen over the last few years have been of a consistently dazzling quality, bringing me to tears more than once. St. Louis is truly blessed to have this amazing ballet company!
Anthony Cefalu: DANCE DANCE DANCE!! The staff is super great and can do anything for you if you ask.
Kimberly Silver: We've been coming to St Louis Ballet for 2 years. Our daughter loves the class and is looking forward to this year's recital. So far, we've just done ballet 1 and 2, but it's been great!
Melanie Harkey: I have two girls that currently dance for St. Louis Ballet. I am constantly impressed by not only the level of skill in their dance instruction but also the discipline and respect to teach their students. In addition, everything is very age-appropriate, no questionable costumes or dance moves!
Jay C: I've been dancing at the school for only 3 years and already headed to beginner pointe! Recommend this place.

Steven Carter: I got the opportunity to go here with my son and his his school recently, and I must say that it was absolutely stunning. Special thanks to all of the staff members, they made rhis an incredible experience.
Susan Missey: Very easy to find the building we needed. The ground and facility was very clean.
Chris Henry: Nice venue. We were in the third row in the upper tier and could still see everything.
Hank Puch: Swan Lake was delightful.
Derek Scott: It was such a great breathtaking experience. Went and sall Swan Lake, and it was incredible. My only complaint is that the temperature kinda sucks in there. I'm not sure if they didn't have the ac on, or their ac system just sucks.
『Alexa』: I WATCHED SWAN LAKE HERE IT WAS SO GOOD I CRIED ACTUAL TEARS
Terry Leible: We seen Hits The Musical, very nice venue for a concert. They are traveling the US, it would be worthwhile going to the show.
Myron Burns: Error proceeding
Robert Banks: Great facility.
Joe cool citizen: Beautiful place
rosalind latham: Went to see the black violinist. They were wonderful, great performance. Loved the fact that they have a drummer and dj with his own dj equipment. The performance center is too far from the parking lot and has too many entrances and no one to guide you to the correct entrance.
Andrea Koval: Loved it!! Not a bad seat in the place. I've been a few times over the years, and the dance productions never disappoint! Go if you get an opportunity.
Robert Smith: Great experience!
Kathryn Dyer: Beautiful theater. Wide variety of performances.

Ashleyliane Dance Company: what do users think?
Thomas Proctor: This is an amazing company. They have tons of innovative live performances. They also teach a plethora of drop in classes, no experience required, taught by amazing teachers!
Tracey Campbell: Love the teachers who also happened to be the instructors at my children's high school. My 17 year old has been wanting to take a class at the studio for quite some time. When we got there I couldn't hardly get her to leave. Everyone has different abilities and they embrace it at the studio.
Talana Hardin: Great company!!!

Consuming Kinetics Dance Company (CKDC): what do users think?
Kate Floyed: An inclusive place for everyone to move. All ages, demographics and skill sets. Arica has literally poured her blood, sweat and tears into this foundation, and it shows. Her and her staff are unrivaled in the industry. They give back to our community all the time, in so many different ways. Highly recommend for anyone that is just getting started in dance, wants to develop as a dancer, or if you're just looking to have a great time with great people.
Kayla Vonderhaar: I had such a wonderful first class at ckdc! Everyone is so friendly and it felt so good to move my body freely with a group of others doing the same. What an awesome community to be a part of! I’m so excited to go back for more classes.
christina grau: My daughter attends the ballet and contemporary classes
Bradley Gallow: Great instructors at this studio!
Stella Hoft: I just took my first class back in the studio in over a year and wow did I miss it! CKDC is a wonderful place to dance, with an open and positive attitude for people of all levels and backgrounds. It also has very fun and creative styles and classes. Covid-19 definitely made me take a hiatus from the indoor activity scene, but upon my return I felt self and secure in a smaller sized class that took efforts to spread students out and took mask wearing seriously for the duration of the class. They also are making strong efforts to keep the space clean in between classes which gave me more comfort. I look forward to being able to dance again in 2021!
Lillian Reardon: I’ve been at the studio for a really long time and I just wanna say that it’s an amazing place for people who wanna dance they don’t judge and the break everything down they help you with anything and are very friendly.
Sophia Huddleston: I have been dancing with CKDC for the past 4 yrs and it has changed my life. Everyone in the community is so supportive of everyone. Whether you have dance experience, or your completely new to the art form. They have also been doing super well with COVID procedures by making sure everyone is spaced out, and staying safe. We are lucky to still have 0 positive reports of COVID!
George Brown: I've never seen a place such as CKDC, which caters to all ages and experience in something such as dance..
Tiger Rahman: Youth and adult programming in addition to their dance company. Big community asset.
Sarah Keil: Amazing staff and wonderful ethics
Amber Price: Great Monday night hip hop class!
torrence morris: After a not so great meeting with the instructor, I decided against continuing with services. I requested a refund and was denied and told that I was not actually making a purchase, rather making a charitable donation to their 501c(3).The location is in the heart of one of STL's trouble zones and unfortunately this time, it serves as allusion to the character of those individuals who lead this 'charity'.After acknowledging that her employee needs to be retrained, I was later insulted for being an individual with a disability and told that the alternatives to a refund would be beneficial to "a person in my condition."
Annie Rose: An open and welcoming atmosphere where anyone can dance!
Brittany Trombley: First time at CKDC was with a trial adult musical theater class and it was wonderful. The energy was great and everyone is the class built up a good sweat. It was so much fun I didnt even realize that I got a bunch of exercise. Jordan Woods does a phenomenal job and the studio founder Arica Brown is highly encouraging and personal. As long as you have some basic knowledge of footwork, you will be able to keep up with everything. The movements aren't difficult, I just fumbled a few of the steps.Such a welcoming environment!
Nathan R: I decided to bring my mom to a dance class after years of her begging me to do so. It was wonderful. The staff at CKDC were not only welcoming to newcomers, but were adept in helping people of all skill levels enjoy themselves, and learn routines. I was the only male in the class (and perhaps in the building) but I felt very comfortable with the dance routines being taught, and truly enjoyed myself. I would sign up for classes soon before they get booked up! I would be a regular for sure. By far the best experience I have ever had with dance instructors.
Sandra Ravenscraft: Just took my first class here tonight. I have been searching for a challenging, fun adult hip hop class and I found it! Everyone was so nice. I am definitely going to be back and taking more classes.
erika h: CKDC brought me back to dance and has reconnected me to dance in a new way. I've danced at a number of studios in different cities and have never stuck around at others because I've never felt like I was included or welcome, and when I started coming around to CKDC, I almost couldn't believe how warm and inviting it felt. I am ever grateful for CKDC's loving community and commitment to accessible, inclusive dance education. 💫 🌱
Bryce Conner: Neat place
sun Abbas: An amazing place to learn and teach about dance.
Erica Echinacea: CKDC has been such a big part of me rediscovering my dance and movement artistry. I appreciate the quality and variety of mixed levels dance classes for adults, especially as an advanced level dancer.
Brenda Chen: CKDC saved me this summer. As someone who wants to be dancing constantly, I was so relieved to find a studio in St. Louis with quality classes, an incredibly welcoming staff, and affordable prices. I always leave sweaty and satisfied.

Patzius Performing Arts: what do users think?
Donna Clark: Great dance teachers. Mrs. Patzius is really good with her students. This is Kylie doing an arabesque, although holding her dog, and couldn't hold her arms in the dance position due to that. I recommend her Performing Arts Studio Highly.
Debbie Drattlo: Great dance studio, fabulous teachers. We recommend them.

The Marcelle: what do users think?
Kevin Bowman: Wonderful venue, always love the great works here.
Samuel DiLorenzo: Beautiful space that presents impressive shows
Jim White: An intimate black box theatre in Grand Center.
Sean Noll: Wow! My daughter (a BFA MT student) and I attended Nine sort of by accident. I've lived here my whole life and never knew this place existed. Hint - you guys need better social media promotion! I've never seen Nine, but the show was FABULOUS. Honestly pretty shocked by the caliber of the cast. Some extremely talented vocalists and love the feel of an intimate black box. Sound and lighting were professional. Ticket prices are a bargain. We'll defitnely be back for the next show (and I LOVE Sondheim). Well done!
braxmet: Loved it. Cast of "Sonething's Rotten" is tremendously talented. Venue is a hidden gem. Staff is wonderful, space is intimate. Could use some seating in the lobby/bar. Will be back - great!
Malcolm Spence: Intimate theater for sure. Unlike the Fox, Muny etc you can really feel the actors intensity. I had not seen the actress before. I will be interested to see her profesional progress. One and one half hour monolog is a lot to ask.
Brianna Scott: This is a great little theater. Kind of a hidden gem in St Louis
Jennifer Luner: New Line public reading of a new musical, Bloody King Oedipus! Positively positive audience reaction. Clever work and done very funny lines.
Goofys Galexy: Was amazing and I loved it so much!
Mike Biehl: Saw the musical "Be More Chill". The theater staff are super friendly. They do sell adult beverages and soft drinks. The theater space is very cozy and the seats are comfortable. The parking is free too. Would definitely go see another show at the theater again.
Wendy Witte: The Revolutionists was simply fantastic.
Bill H: Intimate space to see a show. It doesn’t have the best acoustics but with the small size it doesn’t matter much. The productions are all well done but generally have a few amateur seeming bits.
Erin Klippi: Fantastic small venue! Great Production of Be More Chill!
Allan Gardner: Vintage black box theater
Bev Swain: Amazing experience! We took my daughter and her cousins for a girls' night to see Be More Chill. The venue is small and intimate and absolutely every seat is a good one. For such a small stage, I was amazed at the detail in the set and how everything served a multipurpose that allowed you to really set each scene in your mind. All of this, and the most pleasing thing of all was the phenomenal talent! The music and the acting was so good it was like spending $100 at the Fox. No joke! We have some real talent in St. Louis. It was good to see it for under $20 - a price tag that allowed us to take a group of 9, most of whom were high schoolers. For sure, the experience wowed them and got them excited about theater in their own schools next year. Their favorite part was meeting the cast after the show. They not only met each and every member of the cast, got pictures with them, and autographs on their playbills, the actors had actual conversations with them. They took time to talk with them and were sincerely interested in what the teens had to say. I then got an email thanking me for supporting the arts in St. Louis. No, St. Louis, thank you for supporting our teens. Best night ever!
K Kell: Intimate theater, keeps you close to the actors, enjoyable
Sharon Poe: The theater itself is a great space. The show "Be More Chill" was WAAAAY TOOOOO LOUDDDDD!
Jocelyn Jacobs (Jo): We drove 3 hours to watch the New Line Theater Company perform Be More Chill. At first we thought that the show wouldn't be all that great because the stage and seating area was so small, but then they made all of it work. It blew all of us out of the water of how excellent they used the space for the show. It was amazing!
Luke Olivas: Awesome venue and theatre cast. Small theatre, about 150 seats, but not a bad seat in the place. Good sound quality and lighting.
Timothy Nicholas: Lovely, intimate theatre!
Andrew Warshauer: Great place to see theatre and dance!
