His honesty was something I have seldom experienced in working with contractors. He could not replace my awnings due to overhang issues with the house. A few weeks later I contacted him again to ask for suggestions. He agreed with my request to remove them to improve the appearance of the house. He said he could do it for me, quoted me a reasonable price, and they were removed that same week. They left no mess and did a wonderful job. What a great company to work with!

Catherine Lucy: I had a great experience with Jean and Awning Concepts. They are a wonderful, small, local business. The whole process was very hands-on and they kept me informed along the way. I ordered a replacement awning for my front door, and they were able to use the old frame to save on costs. Then I had a new awning installed over my back porch entryway. The whole process took about 5 weeks, from my initial contact to installation. They offered many colors and choices of styles, and even e-mailed renderings to me of what the different options would look like on my house. They required a 50% deposit; the rest was due after installation. All went well, and I'm very pleased with the look and practicality of the awnings.

Ron SFP: Awning Concepts was the most responsive and best priced of the five local companies that I contacted. Using the photos posted on their website I contacted four of their previous customer, and received no negative responses. They removed and recovered our existing awnings on the front of our building. The work appears to be of very good quality, was done in a timely manor, and when finished the site was left in the same condition as when they started. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a commercial or residential prospect.

yoo mi Jun: I would say they are greedy about the money. I made deposit on Dec 9th and I have been waiting for awning since. I called multiple times promising to deliver in week or two but never heard from them. My business is opened already and not having a sign is terrible. I asked for a refund because I am out of $1000 as I am a small business owner. It’s bad business practice. Just be honest and give us money back.
Korey Stewart: Horrendous customer service and communication skills.I ordered a $900 custom awning in April. Made my first payment (of three) mid-May. Was told the awning was expected to be finished and installed in 5 weeks. After 3 months of not hearing from them I followed up with a call. They told me the fabric was on back order but they expected to get it soon and complete the job within a few weeks.Last Wednesday (over 6 months in) I decided to give up so I called to cancel the order. I still hadn’t heard from them. I got no answer my first two times calling. They took down my info on the third call and said they’d call me back. I didn’t hear back so I followed up with an email Saturday. They called back yesterday (Thursday). Still no estimate on when the awning will be finished and they refuse to give me any more than a partial refund.I understand that Covid has caused delays and other issues in nearly every business sector. People are generally understanding if you let them know these things. You can’t go 7 months without reaching out when you promised a product in 5 weeks. Very poor business practice.
Deneen Davis: The awning is nice. Good work. However, we had to wait 5 months to get it. It was excuse after excuse and that was only when I called. I was never updated on why it was taking so long to get our product. An once it was finally delivered the driver did damage to structure on our property.The driver and additional workers never said a word. A resident on the property brought it to our attention. An once again, I have not had any contact with the company on what they are planning to do about the damage.I will never use this company again. And I have let our sister buildings know as well our experience with this company.

Patricia Manhart: I am very disappointed in both the service and the work provided by this company. First of all, Jefferson put up the awning over the door of our first house, which still looks good 20 years later. When we bought another house and wanted to replace the awning on the large patio, based on our prior good experience, we chose Jefferson over 2 other companies, although their bid was higher. I'm sorry we went this route. The skirt is too loose and flops in the wind. It is wrinkled and looks home-made. The skirt spends most of the time flipped up over the awning so that when it rains, it blocks the grommet holes and water accumulates on it. I've called the company three times over the last 5 months and have been promised each time that someone will come fix it "the next time they are in the neighborhood". Nothing. I would not recommend this company.
Willis Hertweck: The ladies here were extremely helpful. They are amazing with any sewing needs, not just tents and awnings. If you have any custom needs, see what they can do for you.

It is 2nd week of November and still no awning.Spoke with the Project Manager today and being told not till December.
