Precision Restorations: what do users think?
Summer Brinkley: They have a SCAMMER WORKER THERE BY THE NAME OF ROBERT ! He has taken my money and still has not completed the job. He never answers the phone. I’ve been waiting a month for him to finish a 2 day job ! Highly would not recommend!
matthew schoonover: Precision Restorations restored my pickup truck, a 1977 F150, in 2013, and they have helped keep it in top condition ever since. The initial restoration included a complete mechanical overhaul and repainting. It also added some major improvements like air conditioning, an electric choke, and power locks. The best part about Precision is their continued relationship, which is important when dealing with an older vehicle. They have helped resolve a carburetor and fuel pump issue to prevent the engine from stalling. Precision also addressed a deteriorating dash ribbon that interfered with safe night driving and a faulty fuel sensor that prevented accurate gas tank information. Most recently, my truck needed a fix to the drip rail, a few paint touch ups, and some leaks. Precision was the logical choice. I appreciate that the team at Precision recognizes the special attachment I have to my truck, which is evident in the way they help solve issues.I highly recommend Precision for their attention to detail and focus on relationships.Services:Body Trim,Electrical,Painting,Air conditioning,Exhaust,Steering suspension repair,Auto engine tuning,Antique restoration,General repairs maintenance,Engine repair
Jacki Saxton: The team at Precision Car Restorations is incredible to work with. They are great with communication and it's evident they take pride in the projects they complete. Highly recommend!
John Shelley: Full restoration of my 1966 GTO. From barn find to show car. Great quality work. Staff is friendly and helpful.Services:Brakes,Body Trim,Electrical,Painting,Air conditioning,Exhaust,Custom upholstery design,Steering suspension repair,Auto engine tuning,Antique restoration,Engine repair
QED: Unreliable about scheduling appointments. I waited for 5 months on their assurance that they would continue to work on my car. They would never give me an appt date . . . and eventually stopped answering my emails. This was unprofessional and makes me wonder about the quality of work they did previously . . .
Brandon Mortenson: I brought my 1963 F100 in pretty rough shape. Most restoration shops would have ran from such a rust bucket, but they loved the story behind the build. They took the extra time to really get my vision, and they hit if out of the park. Every aspect of the custom metal fab is as perfect as I’ve ever seen. They massaged and fit so much that most will never appreciate. But if you know, you know. I will be back for future restoration work.Service:Antique restoration
Craig Higgins: I must start off by stating that I am very particular about my Audi. It is my fun car, not my every-day driver. And I keep it meticulously clean inside and out. So, when I noticed minor surface rust appearing on the rear driver’s fender, I was extremely alarmed. I needed to get that taken care of immediately. I contacted several auto body repair centers, but all wanted to replace the entire panel at a substantial cost. Then someone suggested Precision Restoration. Though they typically take on full restoration projects, they invited me to come on down to see what they could do. Upon my arrival, they had their main paint guy come out to inspect my vehicle. As he looked it over, he explained to me the tasks he would need to do and the time it would take to do each task, and as he did so he tallied up a cost estimate. He was very thorough and straight forward. Most important, I could tell he cared about his work. That sold me! I dropped my Audi off the following week, and 3 days later it was finished. My car was washed and cleaned as meticulously as I left it, and the repair was completely undetectable. I could not have been more satisfied with the quality of their work! Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional and I think they were as pleased as I was.Service:Painting
Jesse Biggs: Great place, super nice people
Andrew Haberern: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueQuality work at very reasonable prices by Car Guys that treat your vehicle as if it was their own. Tons of communication so that I knew exactly what was being done, what it was going to cost and how long it was going to take. It was done right, on budget and on time. Top notch and very professional, with no drama.
Brant Baldanza: Purchased a 75 Toyota Landcruiser back in 2015 since then it has been problem after problem with the battery not holding charge and the wiring a mess. I found Precision Restoration in St Louis to hopefully solve the problem and they did!!! Now it starts every time, new tires has helped it ride better and the stereo they put in works great. I am not a gear head at all and they made this process for me so easy! So glad I took the leap of faith with them and I will soon be bringing it back in for some more custom work now that its running perfectly. Great company, great staff, great experience.
Karl Hachmuth: Car restorations aren't cheap. I talked to a lot of shops include Precision Restorations before deciding to go with them. As this work isn't cheap, one thing that tipped me to them was their detailed initial estimates (something no other shop that I found would provide).I shipped them my non-working 1983 Pontiac Firebird, met with the team about what I was looking for ("restomod" - basically making my car a little more modern and reliable), and within a couple weeks had a detailed estimate. I gave them the go ahead, and over the months they kept me up to date about everything. New issues they found came up - expected since the car wasn't even running - and they ran everything down for me in detail. In the end, the final bill was a little bit higher than the *original* estimate, which is frankly incredible, and shows how much these folks really know their stuff.A few months later, the car is ready, and I'm beyond excited. They work with me for a time to pick it up (they met me on the weekend), and I drive it three and a half hours home. After I get home, I'm a little worried. It doesn't seem to be running quite right. I contacted the team and they responded immeditiately. I actually ended up asking them tons of questions over the next few days, and they were always prompt, helpful, and detailed in their responses (they even sent me a new handheld controller so I could get some information myself). To make a long story short - I was being paranoid. New engine, new EFI iginition, I wasn't used to it. The fact that they stuck with me (and I was pestering them A LOT) is even more of a testament to the type of folks that work at Precision Restorations.I'm so happy with the car, and with choosing Precision Restorations.
Robert L Bowers Jr: I appreciate the effort of Precision to initiate contact after initially visitingtheir web page, and, in particular, their direct and informational approachto help you make a fairly informed decision of how to proceed with yourintended project.
Ralph Copeland: I have a 1988 Cadillac Sedan deVille with 64,000 original miles from 30 years of cruising California highways. It was my Ma's until she passed away in 1999. I've been the owner since.I'm retired and my wife and I live in the Northern California Sierra foothills. I wasn't sure to retire or resurrect my '88. I'm glad I made the choice to restore.I'm also extremely happy to have made the choice to use Precision Restorations (PR). A family company which understands a family's treasure and vision. Not only did they restore my '88, they restored our family memories.I spoke to Dale who owns the outfit. I told him what I had. He loved the idea of restoring such a car. He put his group to work. After a conference call with his talented team, we decided on a restoration which was closer to the odometer. Not show room, but darn near! And off my Caddy went to St. Louis. You must remember this is a journey. Patience is a virtue! You let your treasure go and take that leap of faith.I received a detailed material and labor quotation from PR.PR was in constant communication with me throughout the process sending photographs and emails also a handful of phone calls were exchanged. Then THE call came for final payment and my Cadillac was ready to come home. When my Cadillac arrived I had tears in my eyes. My Ma's car was reborn. What a master piece!During my restoration my wife and I were blessed with the birth of our great-grandson named Henry. Aka: Hank.My Caddy will be his. The plates say "HANKS88". Yup. For Henry's first birthday and Christmas he got himself a '88 Cadillac. But! My one condition is he won't get the keys until he's 30yo and his 1988 Sedan deVille, which will be 60yo, will be his to drive.Again I can't say enough about the wonderful job by the Precision Restoration crew. Professional, knowledgeable, talented, caring, and darn friendly!!
Denise Beggs: I would have to say our experience with Precision Restorations was as good as it gets. After a stupid accident involving the garage door, our 2006 Pontiac Solstice was junked by the insurance company. With no connections other than the Internet, we discovered Precision within days of the accident. We had the Solstice towed to their shop and after a couple of days of looking it over, they were back with an estimate. Even though the vehicle isn't a true restoration, we knew it was going to take some effort. As original owners, the long term value of this vehicle was worth the cost. From beginning to end, we had communication with the staff on a regular basis and were kept up to date on the progress of repairs. It took less than 8 weeks; completed right before Christmas. The Solstice looks as good as new.
Madeline Bailey: I had just been involved in a fender bender driving my 1963 mercury meteor, the fender was crunched down onto my tire and I was afraid it was going to pop so I pulled into precision restoration to see if they could possibly help me out at all... and they went above and beyond!!! A handful of super friendly guys came to my rescue, got their hands dirty, and pulled my fender out (more so than I thought possible, even straightened out my bumper somewhat)... and did I mention it was raining?! I’ll absolutely 100% be back with any future TLC my classics may need.
William Laufer: This is the place to go if you want to restore your classic automobile. Every person at Precision is thorough and gives you all the options on a step by step list to bring your car back to its original condition. I had some part that no longer existed ANYWHERE (I even was communicating with a person in Sweeden, believe it or not) and they were able to have the piece custom made for me. Fabulous follow up from the team. Dale, Richard, Aaron and Ashley were all excellent in their communication. Aaron even came out to my home to look at the car & discuss the problems I was having with it. First class all the way. You will trust these folks completely to handle your baby!
Chiles Russell-Taylor: This Remodeling Car Place Is Awesome!
Dan Hill: Great shop that takes the time to do your restoration right. They provided me with a thorough estimate upfront, detailed supplements, and kept me updated with pictures throughout the build.
K Robnett: I didn't like the $1,000 estimate on my electrical wires under the hood along the fender when it was DOUG JENKINS.Now it's a new name for a while, Precision Restoration, I'm still not comfortable going to this place.By the way, car stereo store took care of the wiring for $150.00
Cyd Dunavan: The techs here are great! I needed to have work done on one of my vehicles and had trouble finding a shop to do the job. A friend recommended this place and they tackled the project like champs! The work was completed within a few hours at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them!
alan strauss: Thank you Precision Restorations for the great job you did with my car. You guys are great! I truly appreciate the amazing work and attention to detail you did for my restoration. I had a full restoration and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. They were upfront with me on what it would take to get my care restored and the cost associated with it. They kept me informed at every step of the project. I had the opportunity to visit the shop several times. You can tell a great shop by the people. The technicians were very helpful and always showed me the progress of my car. They were experts at every part of my build. The car is pleasure to drive. It's like driving a new car!

Esther Thompson: My car was stolen three weeks after moving to St. Louis And after calling around to 18 other body shops, Nick was the only one willing to help me. I wasn’t expecting to see my car for months if deemed not totaled. I was lucky with receiving parts sooner than expected and Nick had my car ready within a week! My car was just as good as brand new, so happy! All the people I interacted with at Auto Art were so pleasant and helpful, Thanks to everyone at Auto Art :)
Gregory Williams Jr: Diona is very sweet and responsive. Nick and company did a great job replacing my bumper. I’ve received compliments on how “new” my car looks. Would recommend!Service:Paint repair
Jiwoo Seo: Amazing staff members! This place has down-to-earth staff members with delicate skills. It was the first time for me to repair my car so wasn't really sure what to do - but Nick helped to make the process go smoothly :) Thank you!Services:Scratch removal,Painting
Ervin LAY: My friend that works there does excellent work but the gentleman I talked with yesterday was very rude it is wise in life to treat people with respect or life itself will deal with you.
Nicole Holst: Highly recommend Nick and his team at Auto Art! They were responsive, reasonably priced and even worked through the weekend to get my car back to me as quickly as possible. Excellent service. Quality workmanship.Services:Scratch removal,Body Trim
Zak Rajput: First time customer. Came to get body work done on my car. Nick and April did an outstanding job with my repair and provided an exceptionally reasonable price. The work was done very quickly and the car looks fantastic! Would not hesitate to return again for future repairs.
Brooke: Amazing local shop. Estimate was fair, and work was done well and quickly. Nick was great to work with. Very happy and would recommend their work to anyone.
Zach Coleman: I was in an accident and had to get my back bumper fixed. I went to Auto Art and they were lifesavers. April is the BEST she was so nice and helpful. She took care of pretty much all the heavy duty paperwork which made things a lot easier for me. They were also kind enough to squeeze me into their busy schedule, and were very fast in the repair of my car. They did a phenomenal job and I would definitely recommend Auto Art to anyone in the city!Services:Scratch removal,General repairs maintenance
Omar palada: Came in with a bumper problem and they had it fixed in minutes 😇😇 will go back again any time I have car problems
Zach Smith: My rear hatch was not opening...I stopped by Auto Art and within minutes they fixed the problem and refused payment. It's not often a business is so kind, and Tom and the crew earned a lot of respect from me. I will definitely be doing my collision business with them in future.
John Ackermann: We had a minor emergency when our vehicle was victim of a hit and run while we were visiting St. Louis, and we needed to drive it 350 miles back home. I called the shop and Nick was extraordinarily helpful. They were able to take the vehicle immediately and had it road-worthy in a couple of hours, and charged quite a bit less than I expected. I have very seldom experienced such friendly and helpful service. These are just good people.Service:Body Trim
Sun: Excellent service with quality work.Took my exotic car to this place to get body work done. Nick at the front was very professional and kind and Jesse, the person working on my car, did an excellent job and even showed me the car with the body panels off. These guys do honest work with lots of experience and I would not be afraid to send any of my cars to them again.
kortney stephansky: Nick was AMAZING with my car services!! He saved me so much money and got the job done in a timely manner! Staff is very professional! Lynnea did a great job with the exterior cleanliness! I will definitely be coming back as my “go to” auto shop! I sincerely cannot thank Nick and his staff enough for all they’ve done for me!! He told me ways to save me money, as my car repairs were thousands of dollars and he did everything in his power to get my car back to me in the best shape without breaking my wallet!! So appreciative and will definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs their services! Thanks Auto art!!!Services:Painting,Auto engine diagnostic,General repairs maintenance,Body Trim,Tires,Battery,Car waxing
leo blake: Did great work and even fix work free of charge that of shops did wrong
Mike Durham: This is my first time using this shop. When I called, Nick was super helpful and they were able to get my 1982 Mini Cooper in really fast. They found some loose wiring and were able to get it started up in two days. Rather than run a ton of additional tests, Nick recommended seeing if that was the only problem, which saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend using this place. Everyone was polite and professional.Service:Electrical
Benjamin Barmaan: Great customer service by Chuck and Nick.
Crystal Cobb: Positive:Professionalism,QualityNick and his team took excellent care of my Vintage Bronco. Very professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond as far as customer service. I now will not take her anywhere else !!Service:General repairs maintenance
Nick Schnelle: Took my 2000 Honda CR-V in for scheduled service earlier today at a nearby mechanic; my hood wouldn’t open/stuck so they couldn’t work on my car and recommend I call Auto Art. Nick answered and after telling him of my situation he let me bring it by same day to take a look. Scott managed to use a couple tools and lubricant to bring my hood latch back to life. It's old and gunky and probably needs replacing soon, but my hood could open and close again. I was then able to take my car back to my mechanic within the hour. No charge. Thanks Nick and Scott. Appreciate the service!
Yelena Osipova: I would recommend this place to all people looking for an honest and professional service. My car had a bumper damage and my insurance (AmFam) recommended Caliber. I trusted their advice to find out there are some shady business going.. Caliber's estimate was over $4,800 for an insignificant bumper damage and AmFam called it a total loss. AmFam "professional" advice was to find another car a leave mine at Caliber. I decided to get 2nd opinion and that is when it got really interesting. When I wanted to take my car back they gave me so much grief/"reasons" to leave it from a total loss - not drivable/has to be towed- cannot be put together to you cannot take it back.. that really ticked me off and I had to push back.. I was without a car for two weeks. This was so ridiculous like in a third world country.. I got it back came to Auto Art and got it fixed for under $1,500 and they also fixed a bump (someone hit my car on the parking lot) and did not charge me for it. God answers prayer and Auto Art was the answer! Very honest/professional people!

Frisco Hill Auto: what do users think?
C Deek31: Great car show great people good hamburgers and hot dogs what more can you want
Kismah Azz: None of the original employees are here anymore from 5 years ago! They just lost their best body man/Painter Chris M!That should tell you something right there.Keep reading the 5 star reviews on Google all you want. But look how many reviews each person has made! 1 or 2 reviews is usually a paid service! If you want to find out what Frisco Hill is really about? Ask around to other restoration shops,. You will get your answers and most likely from a former employee that used to work there. They sub most of their work out to other shops and just take the credit acting like they did all the work.Service:General repairs maintenance
Ed Blumm: Great place to have work done on your Classic Car
Mike C: This shop is great. Had some rust repaired on my mustang and they made sure it was perfect for me!Service:Painting
Tom Campbell: I've had my 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe since 1982 doing a Resto mod on it in the early 2000's. It looked great but was not mechanically sound. I took the car to Frisco Hill to work out the "bugs" which included providing a working transmission, brakes, a larger fuel tank, suspension enhancements, and an engine tune with cosmetic improvements. I now have a fully functioning auto. The workmanship was stellar, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. The people there were easy to work with and there were no surprises with the bill. In fact, they made suggestions that saved me money. I highly recommend Frisco Hill if you have a special car that you want done right.Service:General repairs maintenance
JR Frisella: We took our project car here after it was becoming too much work for us. They did an amazing job and went above and beyond what I would have expected. They were always more then happy to show what was going on with car, with giving weekly updates with pictures. We could also come in whenever and they would go over everything in person and explain what had all been done since our last visit. Overall it is a bunch of really good people doing really great work!
David Caldwell: We had our 1970 Cyclone restored from Frisco a couple years ago. We had looked at several shops in the area and chose Frisco based off how they bid the job out. Chris and his team through the ups and downs worked with us to see our dream through. We are very pleased with the progress. Not to mention how flexible they were with picking up and dropping off our car multiple times through each stage of the project. We will be back again!
Greg Diekemper: I have owned a 1972 Camaro for nearly 15 years. I initially had needed work completed by a local restoration shop and the work was mediocre at best. For example, the work requested was not performed, or was completed in a shoddy manner, or was obviously not checked that it was done correctly, or things unrelated to the work no longer functioned (or worse, were removed from the car!).Frisco Hill has been doing the work on my Camaro for nearly 10 years now. They are knowledgeable and have excellent craftsmen. Their communication is excellent...from the receptionist to the owner (Chris). They listen well, ask good questions, and seem to genuinely care about doing the job right.I have had several repairs and upgrades successfully completed at Frisco Hill, and have never had to take the car back for rework or corrections, and have never had surprises from a cost perspective. In short, I trust them!I highly recommend Frisco Hill...my Camaro is headed back there in two weeks!Services:Body Trim,Painting,General repairs maintenance
Jason Plumb: When it comes to picking out a restoration shop for my 68 Nova, I chose Frisco Hill Auto with the following factors in mind:1. Quality2. Value/Budget3. Time4. CommunicationsI started by asking around at car shows where people had their car's paint and body done.Three body shops seemed to have done most of the top-notch cars in the South County/Jefferson County area.Of those shops, I chose Frisco Hill because they seemed to be excited about my car, and the shop atmosphere was far and away the best (busy, clean, many happy workers).Eventually, we agreed to do a complete frame-off restomod. The rest of the review will be based on how they did measuring up to the four criteria listed above.QualityThe mechanical work that they've done is top-notch. Frisco Hill completed an LS swap, fabricated a new driveshaft tunnel for my TKO, installed vintage air, and a lot more.My Nova is in primer as I write this, and it's laser straight (see pictures). Chris M, the body man, has done a fantastic job straightening her out.Value/BudgetRestoration work is expensive, and this is the first major restoration project I have commissioned, so my idea of value is: Are they sticking with the estimated budget, or have they gone over the budget? We are nearing the end, and they will come right in at the agreed-upon budget (I’ll update this if something changes).TimeTime is the one factor I was most concerned with. I've heard of people having their cars sit at a body shop for YEARS before getting them back. Who wants that? They took my car in August 2021 and told me it'd be almost a year before it’s completed. It's March of 2022, and they are finishing it up by the end of May. So, no complaints.CommunicationsAt the beginning, Chris (the owner of Frisco Hill) came to my house and looked over the car and gave me a rough idea of how much it would cost to do a lot of the work. He then wrote up a detailed estimate based on our conversation. Never have I felt pressured to do anything with them. They send progress pics EVERY WEEK without fail. They also send a weekly email that details the work that was done. When you pay your bill, you get a full itemized list of what has been done to the car, the parts that were bought, and the labor costs, so you're never in the dark as to where your money is going. The shop is always open to go in and check the car out. And, you feel welcome. I have 2 little boys who go with me often. They love it. It's like they get to go to a (sometimes loud) car show every couple of weeks.I hope this helps you pick a shop. It’s a huge decision. Good luck!Services:Steering suspension repair,Battery,Electrical,Body Trim,Brakes,Painting,General repairs maintenance,Welding,Exhaust,Air conditioning,Transmission,Tires
Jim Miller: Great place great work great finished product
Joe Bass: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueI will not hesitate to take a car here for any kind of work that's needed. They are fast, thorough and professional. If you own a classic car, you owe it to yourself to check out Frisco Hill Auto. My 1965 Mustang is back on the road!Services:Electrical,Tires,Transmission,Air conditioning,Exhaust,Carburetor cleaning,Oil change,Steering suspension repair,Brakes
Beth Howard: Critical:Value
Josh Albright: Critical:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueShotty work
Matt Voelker: Critical:Quality,Value
Valor Life: The staff at Frisco Hill is very friendly with top notch service! I had just purchased my Nova, which had sat for years, and they got the car cleaned up and running great, with upgrades. I would definitely recommend them!
Douglas Riddle: I am very impressed with the professional quality of the work from this facility! They were able to completely rebuild and restore the rusted frame of my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. Top-notch facility with the knowledge, skill, and talent to do any job right the first time! I recommend them highly to anyone in need of quality and professional auto repair or restoration!
Frank J. Logan, Sr.: There is a distinct difference in the quality of work between a collision repair shop and a restoration repair facility. Frisco Hill Auto has proven to be one of the best restoration facilities I have ever experienced. There work is completely show quality and their prices are very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone.
Mark: The owner and staff of Frisco Hill Auto did some amazing work for me. So far, they have repaired/solved my electrical issues, touched up the interior-repairing cracks and re-dying, body- paint and door alignment, motor work, etc... They can do anything and I intend to use them again very soon. I've never run into a shop as good as them.
Glenn Hachey: I chose Frisco Hill to restore a Datsun 240z I have owned for over 40 years. Finding a competent shop that you trust can be a daunting task. I consider myself fortunate to have made the right choice in trusting Chris Doria and the team at Frisco to transform a lifetime project into the dream car it has become. The restoration took 16 months and the team at Frisco kept me informed of the progress through the entire build. The completed car is absolutely phenomenal. The car was completed in July, 2019 in time to enter some very prestigious judged car shows where it took many major awards. The most coveted award for me was the Gold Cup award at the International Z Car Convention (ZCON 2019). I can not recommend highly enough the team at Frisco Hill for their commitment to excellence with my project. If you are looking for an honest and competent restoration shop for your keepsake, look no further.
Scott P: I found out about Frisco Hill Auto while searching for a restoration shop to complete the build on my 1968 Camaro. There was quite a lot of work to do and the project was recently completed. I couldn’t be more pleased. They have done a stellar job. Their meticulous work ethic and attention to detail are second to none.If you are looking for a First Class operation that will take care of your restoration as if it were their very own, look no further than Frisco Hill Auto. Just ask for Dwight ( Manager), and he will answer all your questions.
Gary Rieser: Original 1970 GTO. Am original owner. Trusted them with repainting and other work. Turned out to be the most outstanding paint job ever. Not just my opinion but everyone else that sees it. What a great place!

It's Alive Automotive - Classic car sales, repair, and restoration: what do users think?
Scooter Barnes: Two stars based on lack of communication. Sent emails and left messages. No one wants to answer the phone or respond to messages. I had a friend who recommended these guys for work done about 5 years ago. I guess they don't need the business....
Mark Setlich: I recently had numerous services performed on my 2002 Jaguar XJ8 including body work, mechanical work, dash gauge lights replacement, complete interior and exterior detailing, plus quite a bit more. There is nothing that It's Alive Automotive can't do, and they do it all to absolute perfection! The entire staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I primarily dealt with Julie (office manager), Matt (detailing) and Kyle (mechanical) as well as with Jeff (the owner) who made sure that I was completely satisfied.Julie kept me fully informed throughout the the entire process and kindly answered all of my many questions. Kyle and his team of mechanics easily tackled some complicated issues. Matt's detailing work is nothing short of magical. He is truly an artist! My car now runs and looks better than when it came off of the showroom floor! To say that I'm pleased would be a gross understatement. All of my expectations were greatly exceeded.I wish I could give It's Alive Automotive a higher rating. In lieu of that, I've given Julie permission to provide my contact information to anyone seeking more details regarding my amazing experience.
John Landsbaum: These guys know their stuff!! Full off frame or any type of partial restoration work you're considering, look no further!!
vCOLIN RAPPA: I had a transmission that was locked up on my 1963 Austin Healey and he spent hours with me on the phone diagnosing sending pictures back and forth and we ended up figuring out what it was he told me how to take it apart and has been very helpful and knowledgeable.

brad blumenfeld: Jeff is a great and knowledgeable guy. Super helpful and professional. I contacted him because i was interested in a car he had listed. he honestly walked me thru the good and the bad of the vehicle and ultimately i decided not to pull the trigger on that particuular car. he offered to help me on my journey and has since helped me evaluate a few cars that were listed by others and saved me from making big mistakes by pointing out "red flags" to me that i would not have otherwise known to look for. He is a true professional and great guy.Highly reccomend.
Vicky McMullan: They go out of their way to help you find the right place for your vehicle. For that I am so very grateful and will always recommend It's Alive to others. I ended up not using the shop because it was not the right place for my specific car, but they helped direct me to a couple different places that may supply what I need for my unique 1989 Ford Taurus SHO. Thank you so much for all the helpful information today!
Graham Day: It's Alive Automotive is simply the best. Their team combines incredible technical knowledge and expertise with excellent communication and customer service. My 1964 Corvette Sting Ray was dead - or, at least, moribund - in most every respect after sitting for decades. True to their name, the It's Alive team brought her back to life and, indeed, genuine vitality - both mechanically and appearance-wise. Throughout the process, the team kept me well informed and provided extraordinarily helpful guidance in terms of what was necessary, what was recommended, and what was inessential to get her safely back on the road .... and looking better than I could have ever imagined. And, on top of all that, they are just good people who are EXTREMELY reasonably priced and efficient. Thanks so much to Jeff, Julie, Del, Dave, Matt and the rest of the It's Alive team for such a fantastic experience and even better outcome!!!
Clyde Cruz: It has alot of older high end cars like Mercedes n BMWs they doing car restoration.I got a reply from here so I'm here to update.I gave it a 3 star rating simply because I stopped n looked at all the old cars parked outside shop.not because I've ever had work done there so I researched there reviews by others n changed my 3 star to a 5 star rating because reviews by others showed that do great work.I apologize misunstanding so looking for a place to restore a car at least go check them out,ty
Dale Ficken: Great group of people that do an awesome job at restoring cars. They also have a wide variety of cars for sale. If you are thinking about restoring a car or buying one already restored I would highly recommend giving them a call or stopping by their shop/showroom. I have been to their shop multiple times and they are always extremely polite and make everyone feel welcome. Even just to look around at all the cool cars.
David Schwartz: I highly recommend It’s Alive Automotive. They were able to build almost from scratch a fender for my 1938 Packard which was a very complex design. The paint match is perfect as is the blending to the original form. In addition, they provided invaluable service to diagnose and repair complex issues well beyond the capabilities of other local resources. My thanks to Jeff, Adam, Brian, Dave, Jim and Julie for great service.
Jay Z: Very very knowledgeable. Straight up honest. If they don’t specialize on what you bring them, they tell you, and you are so impressed with their honesty and integrity, you ask them to do it anyway. Really just a very capable honest shop.
Heather F: Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, funny, and honest – just a few of the words I would use to describe the folks at Its Alive. My vehicle was badly in need of a paint job. After admiring the gorgeous vintage vehicles in their lot and stopping by one day to look at a Troopy Land Cruiser, I took a chance and gave them a call. From my initial meeting with Jeff and his team I knew I’d made the right choice! Even though my car isn’t vintage, it being only 26 years old, Jeff understood how much my Land Cruiser means to me and his team took excellent care of it. Julie kept in the loop every step of the process and even sent pictures throughout the various stages. I could not be happier with how it turned out!
Kristin Kazenas: Outstanding customer service! The staff are super nice & excellent work :)
Katie Martocci: Staff was super nice!
Scott Brinkley: Neat cars. All old. Was even able to walk thru the mechanics area. Even better cars there.
Roger Douglas: Everything went well. Installed a new windshield and some fromt end repair. Great job thank you!
Debbie Hutkin: Jeff, Kyle and the team at It's Alive Automotive have done master class work on our 1955 Jaguar XK 140 DHC and 1969 Mercedes 280 SE bringing them to exactly the level of quality we requested. They have great attention to detail and spotted things we missed that made a huge difference in the final outcome without breaking the budget. They are not just very skilled but also very logical and sensible.Their pricing is very reasonable and we would not hesitate to use Jeff, Kyle and the pros at It's Alive again.
JG Adams: This place is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen! The vehicles they have are second to none and the restoration work can only be defined as excellence. You have to speak with Jeff the owner and will only then understand the knowledge and pursuit of perfection he delivers.
Sharon Young: If you own a vintage car ‘ITS ALIVE AUTOMOTIVE’ is THE place to take your vehicle for any type of service !!! The customer service is unparalleled and the expert technicians are unmatched. You and your car will love the ‘ITS ALIVE’ experience .
Denise Dowd: This trip they put on a new top, fixed a leak and buffed out my paint. Excellent! They have always done a great job doing all types of service. Would give them a 5 on a scale of 5

Terry Summers: Service:Body Trim
Loving Rose: In this day and age of dishonesty, lack of integrity and constant upselling, it is so wonderful to find an honest place dedicated to true service! had a minor fender bender a couple months back… Just bad enough that I had to see a chiropractor for two or three adjustments on my neck… I didn’t think there was any damage to the vehicle until I went to take pictures for the insurance adjuster… I then found that the rear quarter panel & bumper had separated… Central is next door to my chiropractor, so I stopped in there… When Jason came out to the car to give me an estimate, he started playing around with it and had it put back together in about 10 minutes… He saved me a ton of money since I have a $500 deductible on my insurance… Even told me if it doesn’t stay together to come back and he’ll put a little glue in there to hold it together. Thank you Jason.! Thank you Central! If I ever need serious bodywork, you bet I will be going back to Central! AND I will be referring anybody I know who needs bodywork to go to Central.Service:Body Trim

John Fleming: Three week repair job is now 8 weeks. Won’t use them again. We were told it would be ready today 11/18/2022. We called they say it’s in paint which is what they said last week when we called. Now they don’t know when it’s going to be ready because of Thanksgiving. This is a nightmare. I reiterate DO NOT use Central Auto Body.Service:Body Trim

Karla Sutton-McKinney: Visiting the STL area and left passenger window was busted out... after USAA made contact with Central Body the company took over all communications with USAA and myself...keeping me informed to arranging Enterprise pickup for my rental..Chris Homet was my CABR contact, customer service was stellar...the vehicle was ready on date stated on agreement, knowing that shipping delays could have pushed this out. Nonetheless, I am pleased with the all body work and services rendered.Services:Brakes,Painting
