I've dealt with them twice and both times it's been a remarkable experience.Experience 1 - Someone scratched my car in a parking lot. Honea had the best rates to get the car fixed. They fixed it on the time that they promised and you cannot tell that they had to take the side panel and the door off. Nothing rattles, nothing shakes. It all feels like it was done at the factory.Experience 2 - While parking, I sightly ran over an unusually high pavement. When I pulled the car back, it loosened the plastic underlining of the bumper. Took it to Honea and the gentleman helping me with a quote, looked at it, laid down in front of the car and jimmied the underlining back in. That's it! No charges! When I called, Nick was super helpful and they were able to get my 1982 Mini Cooper in really fast.They found some loose wiring and were able to get it started up in two days. Nick Schnelle: Took my 2000 Honda CR-V in for scheduled service earlier today at a nearby mechanic; my hood wouldn’t open/stuck so they couldn’t work on my car and recommend I call Auto Art. Nick answered and after telling him of my situation he let me bring it by same day to take a look. Scott managed to use a couple tools and lubricant to bring my hood latch back to life. It's old and gunky and probably needs replacing soon, but my hood could open and close again. I was then able to take my car back to my mechanic within the hour. No charge. Thanks Nick and Scott. Yelena Osipova: I would recommend this place to all people looking for an honest and professional service. My car had a bumper damage and my insurance (AmFam) recommended Caliber. I trusted their advice to find out there are some shady business going.. Caliber's estimate was over $4,800 for an insignificant bumper damage and AmFam called it a total loss. AmFam "professional" advice was to find another car a leave mine at Caliber. I decided to get 2nd opinion and that is when it got really interesting. When I wanted to take my car back they gave me so much grief/"reasons" to leave it from a total loss - not drivable/has to be towed- cannot be put together to you cannot take it back.. that really ticked me off and I had to push back.. I was without a car for two weeks. This was so ridiculous like in a third world country.. I got it back came to Auto Art and got it fixed for under $1,500 and they also fixed a bump (someone hit my car on the parking lot) and did not charge me for it. God answers prayer and Auto Art was the answer! Very honest/professional people!

Loving Rose: In this day and age of dishonesty, lack of integrity and constant upselling, it is so wonderful to find an honest place dedicated to true service! had a minor fender bender a couple months back… Just bad enough that I had to see a chiropractor for two or three adjustments on my neck… I didn’t think there was any damage to the vehicle until I went to take pictures for the insurance adjuster… I then found that the rear quarter panel & bumper had separated… Central is next door to my chiropractor, so I stopped in there… When Jason came out to the car to give me an estimate, he started playing around with it and had it put back together in about 10 minutes… He saved me a ton of money since I have a $500 deductible on my insurance… Even told me if it doesn’t stay together to come back and he’ll put a little glue in there to hold it together. Thank you Jason.! Thank you Central! If I ever need serious bodywork, you bet I will be going back to Central! Nicole Sanchez: This body shop did not treat me like they would have wanted to be treated if the had an accident as long as you do not have any complaints about the service they are nice after driving my car for about two weeks after they worked on it a part fell off my car after being in an accident where my car was Knocked over a median in the road which caused damage under the car they just blew me off so okay because my car was an older model car you can tell they only wanted to save the insurance company who was paying for the services money and really did not care about the vehicle repairs , I would not recommend this company to friends or family especially if the expenses are being covered by the insurance company.

Jayden Phillips: No appointments needed; first come, first serve. Very helpful and friendly staff. Also, they always give treats to my dog! In a good location and easy to find. They don't have a working relationship with rental car companies, so if the labor takes longer than a day, you'll need to take care of that separately, but otherwise Wicke is a great local neighborhood auto body shop.
Jane Sauer: They are honest and on time. I have used them for about 40 years and have only had top notch experiences. I use them for complete auto care and not just bodywork.
Ryan Arthur: As a new resident of Missouri and Saint Louis I had a lot of trouble finding a mechanic and shop that was honest, knowledgeable and reliable. After my car broke down due to a large pot hole that caused electrical failure in the system I was told by one of my new neighbors to use Wicke Auto Service.I walked into the shop and was welcomed with a genuine smile from Jeff. I explained what had happened and asked if they could investigate and repair. The team ran diagnostics, changed out my spark plugs, and vacuumed the excess oil. When I came back in to follow up Jeff informed me of a compression issue in Cylinder 4. He spent a good deal of time explaining what that meant, the tests they did and what he would recommend. I didn’t feel cheated or that I was being taken advantage of. After leaving the shop I left more knowledgeable and confident in the resolution for my vehicle. The team was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend using this shop for any of your repair needs and that includes daily maintenance like oil changes.

Deep Chatterjee: It was the fastest service I have ever had. I had a nail in one of my tires and left my car with them first thing in the morning. They did the work within 40 minutes. Charges: $35, very reasonable. I don't live in Saint Louis, but I visit every weekend since my wife stays here. I might end up getting subsequent servicing done here with them.Update: it has been almost two years since my first review above, and my feedback is the same. I got a wheel bearing replacement done along with a couple of oil changes. They are the best among other auto shops in the area. Honest diagnosis. Now that we are about to move from Saint Louis, I'll want an autoshop like Wikce's in my new place.

I explained the situation to Jeff & asked him if he thought he’d be able to have it fixed within a month (that’s how long insurance covered my rental for). He said it’d be a tight time frame but that I could bring my car in anyway. Throughout the weeks he was consistent with reaching out with updates & estimated completion times- he was ultimately able to get my car back to me the day before I had to return my rental. I can’t recommend him enough!

Another time, I nearly ran out of air in my tires during the winter trying to use a subpar gas station air device and with a quick call to Wicke they remedied the situation in 5 minutes.
Kaitlynn: Took my car here twice now. Once for a scratch on my car last year and this year for my AC that wasn’t working. Both times I’ve taken my car here I’ve been impressed with the customer service, quickness, and the price Wicke has offered. They always give the best price and get it done as quickly as they can. They aren't even a mile from my place.From the warm sure greeting I received from Barb when I came through the door to super cool Eric, who knows his stuff, I knew this would be a great experience. They communicated with me throughout the whole process of what I needed and how everything was going. Most importantly, they had my vehicle back soon as promised. My vehicle looks great! There was no sign of the mild trauma she experienced😂In closing, folks, please support our local businesses, they need us as much as we need them. My Kia was stolen & banged up a few weeks ago. when it was found I called around at least 8-10 places -- all of them were fully booked for a month, or told me that they didn't take my insurance (Geico). He also had the knowledge and expertise to know that the insurance company wasn't being true or correct about the value of my vehicle, and made sure that we didn't get totaled, granting my husband and I peace of mind that big insurance wasn't going to cause devastating financial hardship to our family. I also want to mention that I was shocked to hear that the team will put in hours on weekends and holidays. This is above and beyond in my opinion. Kat Martin: My car was the victim of a hit-and-run that left the left-side tail light destroyed. Jake's was able to get me in quickly to take a look and quote the cost of repairs. When they found out that I was paying out of pocket due to a lack of collision insurance, they really made me feel like they did everything they could to get the price on the replacement parts as low as possible.
