Cedarhurst of Tesson Heights: what do users think?
D B: My father moved in here a few months ago and is thriving! He is active and loves all of the opportunities here for entertainment. He is always doing something. He loves the food and gained some weight after moving in. (He needed to…lol) We are so pleased with his new home. I highly recommend this community! ❤️
Jackie S: They treated my Dad with respect and so much love. Divine intervention led me here for him. Perfection won't exist anywhere, yet this was home for him for 22 months. They contacted me regularly when something needed to be brought to my attention and I made sure they knew my name and visited at different times. Wherever your loved one is, stay involved and show them kindness, too. For many of them, it is a calling and they truly care. Show them love and respect, too, because you are depending on them to do the same. Peggy Keith, Tanya, Senior Helpers, past and current, Dana, Mary, etc. ,etc., too many to name - thank you, all. ❤️
J Hughes: Nancy is very kind, caring and personable.
Cat Lietzow: Mom loves it there. The staff has horrible communication skills. Am very disappointed.
Anna Goldkamp: Tesson Heights allows my students to gain valuable job experience by volunteering in the kitchen. The staff are so welcoming and accepting to my young adults in need to job experience. Their partnership with Special School District shows their commitment to the community and the environment is a testament to the quality leadership.
Rick Becker: My brother has been a resident at Tesson Heights for almost 3 years. From the beginning, Peggy and her excellent staff have been exceptionally helpful, always available to answer questions and impart good advice. My brother and I have been very happy with the level of care and compassion. We recommend highly.
Lindsey Sarver: every staff member that interacted with my grandmother spoke to her about it. She is 89 years old. She has no idea what Google is. The staff told her I should take the review down, treated her even worse after I left the review. The director of Tesson Heights spoke to my father while he was visiting my grandmother. (I am 36. My dad is 60.
jitttter: My mother in law has lived at Tesson Heights for more than 3 years and sincerely loves the place. Location and price of the apartments are wonderful. Management and staff REALLY care about the residents, as my husband and I have been regular visitors every 2 days during that time, and have witnessed the care they receive. The residents we have met over the years seem to like all aspects of care and activities they get and are happy and comfortable being there.
Amber Lohaus: I love working at Tesson Heights and helping our residents stay happy, healthy and safe. Tesson Heights puts their residents first. Sometimes it is hard to get all my ducks in a row as a single mom. One Saturday, I had to bring my son to work with me for the first hour until my grandmother, who watches him every Saturday, could pick him up. The residents so enjoyed the baby therapy, I’m planning another visit with my supervisor. I am happy I work at a place where the boss knows that I am dedicated but sometimes life just gives me a few challenges.
Kath Brett: Well done Lindsey on her review. YES these TH people bring their children to work!!! 1/1/2019. Someone went in and changed what I wrote warning families from this place. They actually approached a family member to confirm I had written a review suggesting that that family member have me change my review! I didn't SO THEY DID! Nope you want a better one earn it. Latest...allowing staff to bring their sick children onsite. So sick that even the staffer's babysitter would not take the kid. Going in and out of residents apartments without knocking or asking permission from the resident. Entering rooms after hours, no announcement to the resident that they are in the room. Giving meds late or not at all. No proper hygiene or cleaning from TH employees including handling eating utensils with no gloves. The best POSTING 'YOUR RIGHTS AS A RESIDENT OF TESSON HEIGHTS" on the back wall behind the kitchen where, of course, no one can even see it.
Susan OKeefe: AMAZING!!! I moved my loved one here after a negative experience at another facility. Tesson Heights went above and beyond to accommodate her and meet her needs at move in. The personal attention continued daily as her needs changed. Communication was outstanding! Staff was knowledgeable, experienced and caring. They cared about my loved one personally, not just as a resident. I would highly recommend Tesson Heights to anyone who is looking for staff that feels like extended family when family can’t be there all the time! You’ll find it there!
Bridgett Calvert: I work in this facility as a vendor. I think the staff in community are truly their for the seniors . I work closely with the administrator in this community for the past 3 years. She is Definitely an advocate to the seniors who live in this community and truly wants the best for them.
Jessica Roberts: My Dad has been at Tesson Heights for several months and receives GREAT care there. The staff is very helpful and goes the extra mile to take care of their residents. My Dad has gone from not being able to stand even with the help of 2 people plus a walker when he first arrived there, to getting himself to all meals and being able to get himself in and out of his chair and bed using a walker for short travels and getting himself into a wheelchair if he's going further. His quality of life has improved tremendously. Peggy and Susan have been so wonderful to work with, providing assistance and guidance with the massive paperwork that has to completed. They have made what was extremely overwhelming for my brother and I much easier.
Jesse Menley: From the minute you walk into the front door your greeted warmly and the staff is extremely helpful. The rooms and community areas are well kept and clean. Highly recommend.
Kendra Banks: Great Team and wonderful care genuine all over
Beverly Muskopf: My mom was to move into a one bedroom after my father passed. Room wasn't ready on day of move. Secretary had to call flooring guy to come finish job. Well, we went ahead and moved her into a room that was ready, but further from elevator. I thought for sure they would let us know when floor was done and baseboards- to move her in- but no they just let her stay in isolating room. With a shower that was very difficult to use. The director just brushed me off. We even painted the room she was suppose to go into- director seemed to put blame on us that the terrible flooring job was our fault. We couldn't move her in a room when the flooring wasn't even put in the bathroom, toilet was gone, and place was messy and dirty. They kept on changing rooms she was suppose to go into cause they couldn't get work done. Director just doesn't care, she walked up to me and said Hi, to show me that she wasn't ignoring me, how nice. They gossip and are not professional.
Bobbie Roberts: I find both the residents and staff here to be warm, caring, and helpful, especially the dining room/kitchen and housekeeping staff. These folks always have a smile ready and a kind word! I have watched them interact with residents and brighten the residents' day.I would have loved to join the outing today to the Hawthorne Inn! Iknow my mother will love it here when the time comes.
Toni V: I have visited Tesson Heights with my Dad on more than one occasion & we both really liked it. I am someone who has worked in the senior care industry for my entire adult life so I have worked in nursing homes, retirement communities & my Mom was in a rehab facility after being in the hospital. TH is a beautiful place, clean & well-kept. I have talked with many of the residents who are happy there & haven't heard anything negative from any of them. The staff are genuine and the residents are happy & very well cared for. I have witnessed music therapy & loved watching how engaged the residents were - they had so much fun!I love that they have a library & access to computers for the people living there. My Dad is s big reader & loves to dabble on the computer. He said if he gets to the point he needs more help than I can provide - Tesson Heights is where he wants to be!
Lisa Brinley: The care and compassion displayed by Peggy, her management team, and staff is exceptional. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. The staff is genuine and they truly care. They go above and beyond. If you are seeking a great place to live, we would highly recommend Tesson Heights!
Demanda King: This am extremely well decorated facility. Everyone was very helpful with my questions. I had overall good vibes during my tour. I will be keeping this place in mind when placing my family member.
Bev Rector: I had the opportunity to work at this community for a short time. While I was there everyone was kind. The staff was always willing to help residents, family members or anyone needing help. There were several different services available to the residents. Staff was very caring. Peggy Keith, Executive Director was always more than willing to help others as well .The community is always clean and neat. I personally feel it is a beautiful place for a loved one to live with special care given to each person. Now for those wanting to know I left employment here because I did not enjoy the drive from my home to the community; it was just to far for me.

Nazareth Living Center: what do users think?
Kathy Sprinkle: This place was great to my sister Mary she was here for 5 weeks could not walk due to a accident an now coming home walking! You hear alot of rumors about this place short staffed etc but every where she has been was short staffed but no one treated her as good as Nazareth. If anything was wrong I would go to Jackie-Jasmine an especially Will who really made us feel welcome an took care of any situation within a snap! These people are a asset to Nazareth an I would gladly recommend this facility to anyone.
Don Uetrecht: I believe my dad is being taken care very well. The food is excellent and he is being taken care of. The staff is professional and friendly
Lukas Hilburn: End of life care if hard. It is hard for us as family members to decide to place our parents in the care of someone else, especially knowing all the issues that many end of life care facilities are juggling. I also believe it is hard for those we entrust to provide that care. After making the choice to place our mom into Nazerth Living Center, we constantly kept questioning our decision but after visiting her several times now and seeing how she has become part of the Nazareth familiy, I know we made the right decision. I'll be the first to admit that my mother is a handful. However, not once, have we received any notice that there has be an issue with her or with her care, which to us, shows how much kindness and patience they much posess. I am only writing this after seeing a few negative reviews. I wanted to write this to say thank you to the staff for all the incredible care they all provide and the incredible service they give everyday. I am sure they don't hear it enough. Thank You! We don't share our positive experiences nearly as much as we do our negative ones. so....thank you, thank you, thank you. You've helped our family so much and we willl be forever grateful.
Taliyah Wilson: I worked a shift at the assisted living through shiftkey last month and still haven’t been paid for it called them for almost two weeks before I even got a response then she tells me the agency has to resolve it but when i spoke with my agency they say the facility has to resolve it, horrible i would not recommend to any agency worker on top of that the night i worked we didn’t even have a nurse which is really unsafe. Do not recommend worst experience every since working agency
Abby Fischer: They were so neglectful to our loved one. They repeatedly said we are short staff and left our loved one to wither away. I would highly recommend that YOU DO NOT choose this facility for rehabilitation or assisted living care.
Lisa Tuchenhagen: Nazareth was a good fit for my mom.She loved her caregivers. Large apartments.I found communication worked well through email.
Cheyenne Wilson: We have been repeatedly disappointed in the lack of empathy most of these employees have. I’m able to understand that there’s a short in workers at mostfacilities and companies around the country, but this industry isn’t one that allows a drought for compassion. Not tomention the “supervisor” Diana has been one the most disrespectful nurses I’ve encountered at this facility alone. You will receive two stars for the only two employees (Jimmy and Sabina) who have been consistently humble, passionate and have respectfully taken care of my grandparents. Overall, I hope the rest of these nurses have the daysthey deserve.
Christy Schmidt: Don’t go here terrible treatment beware basically residents ringing call bell with no response didn’t have meds needed didn’t follow doctors recommendations in regards to giving med on time for staph infection-don’t risk it
C. D. Thornton: My mother chose this location, as she had stayed there for a previous recovery from a total hip replacement surgery. That stay was over 4 years ago, and went extremely well, and she was very happy with the care she received. Sadly, things have changed significantly. Before I start, it is important to state that the pandemic changed many, many things, and affected everything, top to bottom at these types of facilities. This is understood, but is in NO WAY an excuse for the issues that arose. The physical and occupational therapy individuals who assisted here are the only reason this is not a 1 star review.Following my mothers most recent total hip replacement surgery, she needed a location to continue her recovery with more in depth assistance. This was due to being limited to 0% weight on said leg and hip, for 45 days. She chose this location. Upon arriving at this location, we ran face first into the same issues that she had at the Mercy Rehab Facility, except this time we knew in advance of the problems, and ensured that her information was forwarded, and that all medications, limitations, and special circumstances were noted and communicated. This achieved pretty much ***k all. The nursing staff on hand were unable (unwilling) to provide consistent access to her medication, actually arguing with us about what was available and what had been prescribed but the surgeon and her other doctors and what they were "allowed" to give her. Being in a wheel chair, getting to the restroom (zero weight bearing) was a significant challenge, and only later did we learn (she was afraid to tell us, as she was afraid of not getting ANY assistance) was taking huge risks by doing so by herself as she could not get ANY assistance at times.Speaking to the social worker at this location, as well as the charge nurse, was absolutely terrifying. Multiple times we were advised (without prompting, and without it even being a thought until that moment) that my mother, and us as family, should have "no concerns about retaliation" regarding the issues that were quickly stacking up and concerns we were expressing. (bedding not being changed regularly, meals/medication/clothing assistance being an afterthought and NEVER consistent/ actual awareness of her lack of mobility, lack of consistent handling of her rehab, as they kept telling her she would be up and around and good to go in 4-7 days regardless of being advised multiple times she was ZERO weight bearing, the on site doctor not having any idea what her restrictions were, what her status was, and attempting to have her moved up on her rehab DESPITE her surgeons orders) We did not bring this up. We were not even slightly concerned about "retaliation".....until they stated we did not need to worry about it.I'm sorry, but what the actual ***k do you think we are now going to be thinking about, for pretty much everything??To top it off, when addressing these concerns to the lovely people at her insurance, as well as medicare, we were advised to MOVE her from this location as soon as possible. ***K me. Anyone has attempted this knows how difficult (impossible) this is, unless you have deep pockets. So we were stuck. Needless to say, we could not pull off this move, and had to keep an extremely close eye on things for the remainder of her stay (3 weeks) before they issued her notice of discharge. On a Friday. At 4:30 PM. Yea, helpful bit, that.I am aware her previous experience was well before the pandemic. I am aware staffing was, and is, an issue. This is more than that.If your loved one is in need of rehabilitation following a surgery, DO NOT GO HERE. If your loved one is at a stage where they need consistent, reliable care for memory issues? I cannot speak to that, but if individuals with PHYSICAL issues were not getting proper care, I can only imagine what people who cannot recall, or have cognitive issues, are treated.Do a bit of research, through your insurance, as well as through other organizations. Save yourself the frustration, anger and hurt.
Judy Thomas: Good place to work, I have been here 2 years it's been a few challenges but with the right staff on board it's ok
Bobby Tessler Sr: Just recently had to move my mom from Nazareth to another rehab facility because of insurance reasons. We definitely had some grievances here, but if a family member is there to advocate, it makes the stay easier. There's a disconnect with communication between staff sometimes.Overall, the people working did good jobs. And I'm pleased enough to leave a good review. The food was surprisingly very good! And I'm a chef! There's an area for residents to get extra snack and condiments in the hallway. Outstanding addition!Nazareth Living Center is a country club compared to Green Park where my mother was moved to!
Laura Wohlschlaeger: Has bed bug infestation problem
Bernard Hayes: Nazareth nursing home is a great place to work this particular nursing home has exquisite interior and a beautiful landscape the staff are real team players and they get the job done I will give it a six star but five is the greatest rating.
Raymond Voss: I just love being able to come back to Nazareth and play at Mass for the Sisters and residents on Mondays. I returned back to Nazareth in July 2021 after my Mom Carole who passed at Nazareth in March 2020 and was received with much compassion and love when coming back! Nazareth will always have a special place in my heart cause of my Mom and myself! Love the people who work here!
Denise Sielfleisch: We haven't even moved in yet but this place is awesome. The process is very smooth. I felt that the people there LOVE what they do. That is huge. We are very enthusiastic about the move and can't thank Kim, Kim and Mindy enough!!!!!! It is now July of 2021 and our sweet loved one passed. Nazareth was great. Their care was spot on and they jumped thru hoops to make our whole family welcome. We are so happy that Mary lives there for her final 3 months.
michelle b: The care and compassion shown to my dad and our entire family by the administrators, social workers and nursing staff at Nazareth was amazing. If you need to trust the care of a loved one to others, I highly recommend Nazareth Living Center.
Chiquita Taylor: Horrible nurse supervisor very rude can’t have people like that leading in no facility
Michael Bearden: My mother in law was standing there.
Laura Cochran: My grandmother is currently living at this facility and LOVES it! She feels very taken care of, the staff has been great for us as the family to work with. They have gotten my grandma in better health than she was at other facilities, which has been wonderful to see! The place is beautiful, like a country club, we are so pleased finding this gem!!!
Rebecca Valicoff: It is very concerning how serious the nursing infractions were and I am certainly worried about the patients at this facility I went for rehab and did not receive pain meds or scheduled meds in a timely basis! On the 8th day I finally asked what the physician orders were for wound care as they neglected that too! On my last day there was no nurse at all on the evening shift and 8p meds were administered at 1am! This seriously can't be good!
Kath Brett: Our Dad had a stay at Nazareth, which came highly recommended, primarily for recovery and PT for a broken knee cap. The 1 star rating goes out to those contract CNAs who should be fired. The PT unit was outstanding and nothing short of amazing, kind, considerate, gentle and understanding. Those sessions were the only real peace our Dad experienced. The Contractor CNAs were insensitive, mean, critical and not once tried to allow our Dad to maintain some dignity. He would bang his cup or TV remote to get someone...ANYONE to help him as he needed to go to the bathroom. Push the pendant? Please don't make me laugh. He was stripped down to a t-shirt and his depends one evening and wheeled down to the nurses station so they "could keep an eye on him", IN HIS UNDERWEAR with no blanket. He was mocked and stared at. I personally came on a situation where he was in the hall, 3 CNAs standing around him mocking him, goading him to say things then talking back at him. No one took control of that situation....I had to! One instance he related was the use of a velcro strap to restrain him. Nursing Staff and CNA's nicknaming him "the hot mess in room___". What is that!! The CNAs doing their best to do the barest of minimal work. My sister and I did the bulk of helping him. Once and probably many more time that stand out is my sister asking the CNA on shift to assist in changing my Dad. The response she got was an eye roll and "alright". These CNAs (I can think of only 1 that truly cared and told me her job should always include respect and dignity) are lazy, don't care, do not respect the residents in their care and always seem to come off like they would be doing my sister and I a favour....what??? My sister and I are still, a month later, dealing with what they did to him....still. He still thinks about and gets very angry...wouldn't you! Never again NLC never!!

Ascension Living Sherbrooke Village: what do users think?
Dot Nelson: I like the check in and check out procedure. It helps keep the residents safe. The place looked nice. The staff were caring and friendly.
Karolyn Jones: The staff members that I have met at Sherbrooke Village truly care about their residents and visitors and show it in their actions!.
kelly gregoire: Our tour guide, Erin, was very personable and knowledgeable. We are definitely going to have our dad stay at the long term facility.
Joe Saputo (Joe Coffee): Staff is friendly and caring. Facilities are clean and inviting for the residents. I’m
Michele Long: For the most part the only trouble was what I already reported when the two nurses were not being nice. If someone doesn't have compassion they shouldn't be working with the elderly. And bulling my sister or myself in not acceptable.RespectfullyMichele Long
Dave Payne: The staff was wonderful while working with my sister. The assistant on duty took extra care in working with her which resulted in a very positive outcome. Thanks!
Tina Maxey: Lazy nurses that apparently don't know that when someone has knee replacement the leg has to stay elevated and iced, left in wheel chair legs dangling all day, leg never elevated. Wouldn't even move her to a different chair because the chair the nurse put her in earlier that day because i requested she be moved to chair to elevate her leg because she was left in the wheelchair all day again legs dangling. That chair recline handle was broke so we ask for her to be moved to the better chair in room the nurse said that's up to physical therapy to move her which is an out right lie because they already did it earlier!! I had togo find a social worker to get her help so I could get her to the other chair. Needless to say my discussion with the SW was not a good one!!! I can't wait until she can get out of there. I am reporting the nurses for neglect to higher authorities!!!
Katelyn Hayes: I always feel at home when I come to Sherbrook, the staff is so nice and friendly. It’s an absolutely wonderful facility who truly shows compassion and care for their residents.
Mary Saputo: Lovely
Emily Smith: If I could put no stars, I would. My grandma lived at Sherbrook Village for only 4 weeks but the last 3 days of her life was complete HELL! The Friday before she passed away, a staff member got into an argument with my mother. After the argument, multiple staff members retaliated against my family. They were not doing their routine 2 hour checks. When we asked staff members to check my grandmother, we were either given the cold shoulder and ignored or given extreme attitude. Nurse refused to give my grandmother her PRN medicine when we knew she was in pain and having seizers. On Sunday, the day my grandmother passed away, she was to be given medication every hour but nurse stated she was too busy to administer her medication even though she was in respiratory distress. My grandmother had to suffer up until the last 10 minutes of her life. When she passed, we had reported to the staff she had passed. Two nurses came in to pronounce her death and did not say a word to me, my mom or my aunt who had just witnessed my grandmother take her last breath. We had to call hospice to see if there were notified of my grandmothers death because staff never came back to follow up with us. Staff never came in to do post mortem care. Once hospice came I, the granddaughter of her now deceased grandmother, had to help with post mortem care because staff were negligent. When we got to leave the facility, we walked past the nurses desk, and again, staff did not give their condolences to a family who just lost their mom and grandmother. The day shift staff in charge of room 337 on Sunday April 16th were the most disrespectful people I have ever witnessed. How they treated my grieving family and my dying grandmother was so disgraceful!!! Needless to say, please do not bring your loved ones here. The staff are disrespectful and negligent.
Lisa P: Lovely facility and staff are polite, but our loved one is lonely. What happened to all the new residents who we were told would be moving in and activities??
Michelle Northington: My friend is happy there.
Edward Jeude: Very very helpful staff, and facility was clean and smelled nice.
Deborah Johnsom: I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone with love one you care about. The nurses are rude and speak to you with an consenting attitude. The place is clean and nice The staff is not welcoming. If you asked a question you are talk to like they are doing you a favor. I spoke to the executive director and nothing changed. The people he has as nurses are the worst. Maybe he needs to do more to finding why people rates his facility so low. I hope my spouse get better soon or I will have to pay to have him transferred. Worst nurses staff ever!!!! They ignore you as love one as a person that is a bother when you ask a question.
Brian Komrska: Staff is always so nice and are doing a great job with my mom’s rehabilitation after her surgery.
Karen Carter: Beautiful facility. Nurse Jo was kind and helpful. Glad our loved one is in her care.
Michael Opfer: I found Mandy to be knowledgeable, and answered any and all my questions and concerns.
Stephanie LoPiccolo: Wonderful service, clean
Kristy Creighton: My uncle is a very difficult person and often uncooperative. The staff has been extremely kind and caring, especially Maurice, who spent time with my uncle, chatting about music. Highly recommend.
Eddie Bolden: My visit with my sister was pleasant! The facility is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and professional! I am concerned about the decision to limit my sister’s stay to 14 days when she has insurance coverage for up to 100 days? I have initiated an appeal of the discharge date with hopes the facility can assist my sister in regaining her strength.
Connie Trapf: Shalimar is the best thing in this place!

St. Louis Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care: what do users think?
John Steinmetz: I received a letter increasing my uncle's rent by 57%. It was first week of March to inform me the increase is in effect April 1st. I can understand the increase, but they should give a better advance notice so family has the option to make other arrangements. I am now rushing to find other options but forced to pay the high rental until then. I believe staff is fine but I have issues with management.
Rebecca Valicoff: Left my friend on toilet with legs dangling for 1 1/2 hours while she called for help over 15 times with call button! Please have some humanity!
BOB B: I would like to thank Sue and her wonderful staff for taking such great care of my dad. He was always clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive to his needs.
Cindy Gillardi: Charter Senior Living is such a wonderful place for senior living. It is bright and cheerful and very clean. The rooms are spacious and nice and the staff is friendly and caring. Their new Executive Director is exceptional. She cares for and knows all of her residents and makes sure that their home is always lovely and comfortable for them. There are so many fun activities planned that everyone has a chance to keep busy if they choose to do so. I only hope they have an open room when I’m ready. I definitely recommend Charter Senior Living!
Helen Wynne: I was very impressed by my recent tour of Charter Senior Living Community. Staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Their chef prepared a great meal that accommodated my dad's dietary restrictions. He liked the spacious rooms with large windows, ample closet space, and a private bath. The Executive Director took time to speak with us and answer our questions. The Activities Director went over the programs that interest my father. We both recommend visiting Charter Senior Living to experience this caring senior community.
Gabriel Codada: Great service!
Danika Wysinger: Hate I accepted the job offer came in confused do not like these kind of facilities then all my hrs not on my check an they got attitudes cause I keep calling pay me for the work I’ve done!!!!!!! Same way they feel is how I felt putting gas in my car paying a person to watch my kids to go work here thinking I’m getting trained an on my own lost don’t know anything about the residents
Brian Hines: Charter Senior Living is a true family environment. The Management and staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. The food and activities are amazing and tailored to each residents preferences. Apartments are bright and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this community.
Paula Shumpert: Positive environment for senior loved ones.Great friendly staff. Activities fun and frequent and varied. happy hour on Friday has top notch entertainment, Evening movie matinees daily with freshly popcorn Beautiful chapel and beauty shop.Respite rooms fully and stylishly decorated. Can’t wait to retire!
TIME WITH TINY: Horrible. Front desk lady rude and didn't seem to care to greet me or help. Very unprofessional. They didn't tell me what all I needed to start working. I was going back and forth for three days. Once I finally started I wasn't told where to go wasn't given the information I needed. Only stayed one day.
Victor Migneco: Have heard that this used to be a motel.
John Behan: A GREAT retirement home, very nice facilities and people, everyone here seems to be happy, how often can you say that about a retirement home?

McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care: what do users think?
Lesley Pedroli: Great place to work for nearly 6 years. Ownership is local and very accessible and have the best interest of residents, families and employees in mind.
Carol Vang: The food was excellent. Beautiful facility. But the most outstanding thing to me was the art program. Residents participated in developmental art. They were treated so respectfully and with great care. This was a wonderful environment.
Kenna Tripp: The first time we visited McKnight place it felt like home. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. McKnight Place was the best choice for all of our family member’s needs.
t m: It’s really a great place to work they treat us really well things change over time but overall my only problem is the pay
Sharon Brown: The manager is very rude, threatening and has no professional skills for being a manager at all. Her delivery as a manager is horrible.Which she only been there 3 months. But, besides her. The nurses are awesome and very helpful as well as all the other workers. They deserve better management!!!!!!
Brittney Alton: The residents are what make the place fun, and they make the job. Try not look to administrators for help or you will get fired by that blonde tan woman.Try to stay upbeat, and take the extra hours. Look on the bright side and pace yourself if you are floor staff. Try to avoid burnout, and use your PTOfor when burnout occurs. That’s the most honest advice I can give.
Sharay Jones: Horrible place to work DO NOT WORK HERE! It's not worth wasting your time. Very unprofessional, everyone is clueless about their jobs and they mess up everything paperwork, money etc this is not a place you want to stay and advance at. I have had the most horrible experience at this place.
Danielle Jefferson: It's a great living facility for the elderly with more then 5 restaurant a full golf course and inside weight room and a physical therapy room with a full nursing staff. And much more
Ed Reggi: I did a presentation here in their community space and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff and extremely helpful and they run a pleasant community!
Jeff Pohl: Facility was first class, the staff was very friendly and the residents seemed very active and happy.
jeff crump: Great staff! When you walk in to the building you feel at home. The attention to the residents is what makes for an enjoyable experience.
Alison Trullinger: My grandparents have been living here for 8 years now and every day is a new adventure. I love coming to visit for happy hours or joining them on one of the many community outings. The staff are always so welcoming and the food is exceptional!
Ariel Axelbaum: The food is delicious! I joined my grandparents for dinner and loved every bite. And the after dinner concert was a great way to end the evening.
Lisa Long: I'm so glad we found this place. It's friendlier and more comfortable than other places we visited. A lot seemed like hospitals and we're kind of depressing, but McKnight Place is homey and there's just an active atmosphere. I noticed that and smiles on faces of employees and people who live there and that really stands out. I feel good having my family member there. At first, I wasn't sure about the food but they got a new chef about a year and a half ago and now things are REALLY GOOD. I've been impressed. We've been very happy with service and care. People should definitely consider it.
Chris Westmeyer: Have a relative there and they love it. Would recommend to anyone who asked me.

Kasey Paige Assisted Living Facility: what do users think?
Lisa Kessinger: My rating for Kasey Paige reflects the individuals that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Other than the front entry way, I have not toured the place. Our Brother lives there & seems to enjoy it. He likes meal time, says the food is good. The on premise Nurse is a fun & caring man. He jokes with the residents, but they seem to know his seriousness as a Nurse over their care. The other employees I've met all have been nothing less than kind & helpful. Then there is Ms Valerie, the Manager of Kasey Paige. Always a pleasure talking with her. She's genuine, welcoming and displays herself well as a Manager. Her employees seem to respect her as well. Our Family appreciates and is grateful for a HOME our Brother can count on.Thank you Kasey Paige. My hat goes off to you All.
Diamond Mickels: Toured the facility and the administrator was incredibly resourceful. The residents looked happy and the recreational area was kept clean and tidy. Thanks for the tour!
Karin Clark: Mrs Valerie Warters....will YOU stop writing LIES and reviews on website REGARDING a PAST RESIDENT.
Imani Cooley: COVID-19 filled. I was wrongfully terminated prior to the New year and they hired a white girl right after me. They discriminate against workers and they get rid of ANYBODY who bring happiness to their residents. DO NOT bring your loved ones here. And DO NOT apply here! Save your time
John Love: dont come here and dont bring your loved ones, your here 1 month, after which if you dont take part your here for life!!!
Alberto Pepperoni: The current administration as of the date of this post loves the residents without regard to our individual eccentricities.
Patricia Green: Very clean. Residents seem happy. Friendly environment.

Mattis Pointe Senior Living: what do users think?
Sheri Castro: I’m employed by Senior Helpers to come and sit with one of their residents today. This was the first time I have been here and I want to express my gratitude for the kindness showed by the their staff in Memory Care. It’s also one of the cleanest facilities I have been to. The food was prepared nice and served at the perfect temperature. The CMT’s and Activities lady was very caring and attentive with the residents. I enjoyed getting to work at Mattie Point today.
Gabby Lou: This place is filled with drama.
Suzan Kennedy: During my husband’s ten month stay at Mattis Pointe Memory Care, he received great care, with engaging, varied activities in a beautiful environment. It was comforting to know that he was in good hands with a kind staff which is why I was heart broken when asked to move because his care become too hard for the staff to handle. Some of his behaviors that were difficult for staff was wandering and resistance to care; typical behaviors for those suffering from dementia, specifically Alzheimer’s and which a Memory Care Community should be prepared to handle. If you are comfortable with the understanding that Mattis Pointe may not be your family member’s forever home, then Mattis Pointe is a good choice. I suggest that in your decision making process that you ask very specific questions regarding fee structure and care level. Although I was very diligent, I felt Mattis Pointe deceived me. I also recommend that you have a back up plan in the event that your loved one is asked to move. I hope this review is helpful and best of luck to all on this difficult journey.
Joyce Griffin: My sister is a resident of Mattis Pointe in St. Louis, MO. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and caring, always a smile on their faces. It's a small intimate community and the residents all know one another. It's a great place. I give it 5 stars for sure.
debra hance: For the past 6 months my mom, Peal Chinnici has been at Mattis Pointe and enjoying herself. Her room accommodations are perfect and she has a great view. The staff from Shelby, Ashleigh, Cathy, Chris and all the other staff members have been great to my mom. Your always sceptical when you put a loved one in assisted living, especially when I come in and out of town. With this home, I don't worry about my mom at all. "They got my back". They have activities, mom plays cards and has made new friends. THANKS MATTIS POINTE!
Sally Rajnoha: My mom recently moved into Mattis Pointe Assisted Living. It is the nicest assisted living community I have seen. Every staff member is friendly and goes out of their way to make her feel welcome. It is beautifully decorated and fairly small, which makes it easier for my mom to find her way around. It reminds me of an upscale boutique hotel. The price was right in line or lower than similar places we looked, but it is MUCH nicer, partly because it is so new. We are very happy with our choice.
shelby morgan: Mattis Pointe is unlike any other assisted livinng. As soon as you walk in the door the home town hospitality everyone has is truly a good feeling when wanting to find a new home for your loved one. The lengths everyone goes to to have your loved one tradition to a new home is exceptional. Best assisted living in St.Louis.
Alexis Lauer: I have worked with Americare for over a year and a half and could not have asked for a better community to work at after moving back to St. Louis. Staff is always friendly and our residents are always happy and having fun!

Mother of Perpetual Help Residence: what do users think?
Gilesa Robins: Gee
Mark Franklin: Great staff and the residents are nice
Charisma Alexander: This is a very clean nice place and it looks like Love is in the atmosphere... May our Father continue to bless this place ❤️
Donna Pelikan: My mother is currently living at Mother of Perpetual Help Assisted Living facility in the memory care unit. She was immediately welcomed and made to feel very comfortable from day one which is a great relief to me as her oldest child and power of attorney. The staff is caring, kind, attentive, and helpful both to my mom and to me. Cleanliness is a hallmark of the unit: individual rooms and common areas are always neat and clean. Residents are encouraged to engage in daily activities and reports of participation serve as documentation. All medical services are located in the building which has greatly reduced stress for both Mom and me. I was given all contact information when Mom moved in and encouraged to check in at any time. As for Mom, he sense of security has made her very happy. I couldn't ask for more.
