Best Amusement Center Saint Louis Near Me

Teh01: edit: April 2023. As you can see, their hours say they are open Thursdays. We got there at 3:30 pm and the place was dark. Hours on the door matched the online hours. No sign on the door. Called, no message stating they closed early. This is not good customer service. Drove 30 minutes for my kids to be disappointed.I’m not sure why the negative reviews. I visited July 19 and the tables, inflatables, and floor were clean. Only one game was out of order (which is inevitable in any arcade). $25 game card got us 600-700 tickets which is a good value. Nice selection of drinks and snacks. Tables are socially distanced for the adults. My kids had a blast.

Amy Gain: It may have been, but didnt feel like a clean or a friendly place. A lot of holes in their inflatables. Not what I expected and nothing I would pay for. I went for my nieces birthday party with 3 kids of my own.

Anna Stanley: We arrived at 10 AM. The person coming didn’t arrive to open until well after 10. We then had to wait while all the inflatables blew up. It was nearly 10:30 by the time the kids could start playing. We then had brought a birthday cake for our son not knowing it was their policy to not allow cakes unless you had rented a room. I don’t have a problem with the policy, but the worker who came to talk to us about it was confrontational and rude to us in front of our children. We will never visit this park again.

Jessie Byrd: Very dirty and not well maintained. A lot of the games were out of order, and the staff didn't do a good job supervising the 3 and under jumps to keep older kids out. We still enjoyed ourselves, but it could have been much better in my opinion.

Emily Edwards: I was less than impressed. There are 3 inflatables that are labeled for 3 and under. My toddlers were being run over by big kids who were taking food and drinks on the inflatables. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We left after less than an hour.

Victoria Sever: My son got a serious skin infection just days after visiting. We keep a very clean home and he is no in daycare. If it seems dirty, it probably is. Get out 🙄

Courtney Smith: We recently had our first visit to Monkey Joe's at this location. My daughter (3) had some fun on the bouncy houses. The appearance of the place is underwelming. The toilets had no tissue(which means they hadnt been checked or cleaned since we were there 10 mins after they opened). The arcade games are absolute garbage. Paid 15 dollars for less than 15 games, which are either unoperational, largely empty of prizes, or rigged together somehow. For example, the basketball game had small dollar store kickballs instead of basketballs. The staff person we encountered was a pretty nice guy. He allowed my daughter to have a 40 ticket prize when she only had 25.The small childrens play area is a complete joke. There was a table and a couple chairs strewn about with some random dirty toys and doodads. I would likely not return, except my daughter seemed to enjoy the bouncy houses.

Megan H: Staff was unfriendly. I booked a party room. The ceiling was gross looking it had a leak previously. The metal benches in the room were sticky and had food on them. Floor was disgusting. Stepping on the floor was like stepping on honey it was disgusting. I guess theyve had so many spills the carpet is just ruined but they need to fix it. The room smelled like weed and pizza. I dont know if an employee was smoking in there or maybe behind the building but a child's birthday party should not smell of weed. The bouncy houses were ok but when it came to the arcade cards that came with the party pack we had a problem. Some cards didnt work and when the kids took them to the counter the man refused to fix them so I went and got it done but their cards said "unable to be used at this location" ?? Also our room helper was very nice and helpful I didnt get his name. All around I would not go unless they renovate their party rooms it was disgusting inside the rooms.

Chris Belvin: Had my Sons birthday party here! It was his 6th birthday and he had a blast! Our room was set up perfectly,everything was neat and our party host mahamed was very attentive, he made sure everything was to our liking! Will be back for some more fun!

Jsin Welz: We had to find something to do while the Fam had to wait to go to Children's Hospital. So I searched for things to do for 4 year olds, came across Monkey Joe. Staff was super friendly pricing was good and my 4 year old had a blast. Will definitely be making a trip back.

Peg Wells: This was absolutely perfect. Brought our 4 year old down from Illinois to children's and had time to kill so we found Monkey Joe's. It's perfect love the fact it's for smaller children and the owners are the best. Thank you guys for all you do.

Laura Frentzel: We went here for my niece's birthday party. The kids had a BLAST. The staff was friendly and good with the kids. Monkey Joe came to see them and they absolutely loved it lol the only "complaints" I could mention would be the smell (thats to be expected though with sweaty kids running around every day) and my shoes sticking to the carpet in the party room. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Especially since the kids are running around with no shoes. Great party, though! Definitely recommend.

E V: My wife and met up with family and friends here for the first time. I expected a lot more than what we got. My wife was hungry so we ordered food she ordered toasted ravioli, and I ordered loaded curly fries and I bratwurst. Her food was hot and cooked mine on the other hand was already cooked but sitting in the back. The fries was not fresh at all, and the bratwurst looked half cooked. They were nice enough to give me a full refund as they should.

April Bell: My daughter had an amazing 6th birthday here. From the bubble drop to the party room, my kids loved it all. From multiple bounce rooms and the part attendants. Tarzan was absolutely amazing and made sure that everything was thought of. His attention to detail made her day special. Thank you Tarzan.

saltandpepper77: My child's covid 2020 birthday was cancelled for obvious reasons. We finally were able to have a friend party this year 2023 for them. My child requested Bounce U again so I called and to my surprise and delight not only were they able to accommodate they let me use my deposit from when the world shut down. I was blown away by the hospitality and convenience of this party. I was able to just enjoy the party and not feel like I was rushed or missing out on anything because they took care of everything. The kids were happy and everything ran so smoothly. I have a list of all the gifts and the photos they took for me. The gifts were even brought out to my car for easy loading. You cant beat this service. The facility was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and so sweet to the kids. The kids didn't want to leave. Chrystal Webb: The kids had a absolute blast! It’s quick and not the cheapest, but it was so worth it! The kids got to bounce in two rooms and then the room for cake and presents. Only thing could make it better is if it was 2 hours instead of 1 hour and 45 minutes. My other daughter wants to come here now also for her birthday. Would recommend!

Irish Racion: Nice indoor play place. Mostly inflatables. Small space with giant inflatable bounce houses. Price is a bit high though for an hour bounce experience.

Lumina Solaris: This was a ton of fun! Though, if you have ADHD of the distractible type, make sure you have a group who will stay on track. If I didn't have a good group, I would have definitely not finished it, because I was getting clues all over the place but not using them effectively. Though, that's a problem I encountered with the other escape room I did, too. I think I tend to disrupt the order in which they plan for people to discover clues. Either way, lots of fun!

It seemed like everything time turned around there she was with that amazing smile on her face and it seemed she really enjoyed her job! This was our 1st time coming but won't be our last thanks to the wonderful people they have working at this establishment!

Brian Combs: Swing around fun town in Fenton is totally awesome. $25/person for 3 hours unlimited bumper cars, batting cages, go carts, kiddie carts, 3 mini-golf courses, plus you get $10 credit each for the arcade. It’s all run by mostly young kids doing summer jobs who are all pretty laid back and friendly. If you are looking for something outside of just an arcade this place is the spot. It is updated and clean totally worth every penny and didn’t feel like a money grab at all. Thanks Swing Around Fun Town glad to see you kicking butt I spent time growing up here in the 90s. Keep up the good work!

Slick G: I hadn't been to Swing-Around-Fun-Town since I was a little kid. I remember because after riding the go carts I threw up all over my sister's car on the ride home......09/01/21. Google Maps AND Yelp both listed closing at 11pm on a Friday night. After a day full of unfortunate events prior to finally arriving at 9:45, first thing we did was get in the photo booth because we have not one single picture of the 4 of us together. I paid the $3 (cash) & we took 4 shots. The machine said it was printing our photo. Just then, all the lights were shut off and all the games shut down instantly without even a warning, or something similar to "last call" that one would expect. The photo didn't print. I went to an employee and she rolled her eyes as I asked for the manager. She was the manager she said so she gave me back the $3 in cash I paid for the photo booth and ignored the heartbreak. We left without the pictures. This could have easily been fixed but instead the manager turned up her nose at us and walked away. A little compassion and everyone would be happy….. although it’s best to not show up right before they close…2 years later, we visit one more time……had a blast! We raced each other on the go cart track, got wet in the bumper boats, played 9 holes of mini golf, arcade games, and then cashed in our virtual tickets in exchange for prizes. This totally made up for the bad experience we had before. I highly recommend to people of all ages.
