shane Hendrix: The employees where extremely unfriendly and stand offish I'm new to owning firearms I decided to go ahead and choose these guys to figure out what type of ammunition was best for my gun they didn't offer any information on what ammunition I needed they simply just said they didn't have it didn't suggest anything or point me in the right direction never will go back to this place again sadly they might even be racially biased..
Shu Cheuk: I would give them 0 stars, but I will give them 1 because that’s the lowest I can give. I went for the shooting range. They give you one price when you ask then they charge you double after you finish you using the range. For a non member the customer service is terrible and I will never go back. I wouldn’t recommend this at all.

The real issue is poor membership price/perks and you cannot bring your own rifle ammo, you have to buy their ridiculously marked up ammo. No thanks. Bye.P.s.A certain range down the road from you(I'm sure you know the one) has member pricing that completely outshines yours in every way. Not the least of which, is no hourly lane fee for members.And you marking up the price of your firearms to nullify the 'free' membership is a non-starter.
Roderick: I called in and asked what's the price range for there budget handguns and the person on the phone was rude and acted as if he didn't want to answer my question he told me that the range was $500 to $5000 what handgun is worth 5K? And before I could ask another question he hung up on me would not recommend
Kathryn Bewig: The overwhelming number of low reviews probably didn't need another, but I'm here to make my peace. This range is the closest to where I live, so I decided to venture in one day. Ammo prices are insane at this location, and I have the feeling some is price gauging to take advantage of shortages during a pandemic. The range is located in the basement of the building and apparently the ceiling is hit a lot. As I was shooting an employee came in and told me I shot the ceiling multiple times because they could "hear it upstairs". I'm not always the best shot, but I always manage to hit the paper. Despite the employee backing off their original statement, I immediately packed up and left as I have no time to deal with that nonsense. Some ranges will sue you for damages and this place has that written all over it.Edited to add: Range USA opened just down the road from here. Nicer facility and better staff.
Chris Webb: Called in asking is something was in stock and was told yes that he was "looking at it right now", just to come in and of course they dont have it. Blatant lie and waste of time and gasEdit: No it was not "sold before I got there" I called not even a half an hour before I arrived. No big deal, just maybe have employees actually check when somebody calls asking if something is in stock instead of acting like they did.

Arrick Powers: A lot of regulations and they do inforce them. It's older and dated. Other locations in the area are better because the range is up to date with a lot less regulations on what you can shoot and bullets you can use. It's nice that they respond to all the reviews online. However, more energy needs to be put on changing your 3 star reviews and not focusing on robuttos. You and your staff should shop other ranges in the area and you will easily see it's not that advanced and your staff can work on customer service. Good luck.
Jeff Prewitt: First time customer. Moved back into town and wanted to give the local place a try. Went in looking for a specific ammunition. One sales person gave me a box. Guy behind the counter said I could not purchase it. Would only sell to people buying a gun. Will never go there again. There is a nice new Range USA that just opened right down the street. I will send everyone there.Yes, lets be honest. Your response makes you look even worse. You assume I bought the gun but in fact I inherited it from a lost family member. Your staff didn't take the time to find that out. Your salesperson handed me a box of shells to buy and then took it away with no explanation. Again I will never shop there and send everyone I know down the street to Range USA. They actually took the time to ask about the gun and helped me.
Jay Loeffelman: don't ever buy a gun from here! they are overpriced on everything bye at least $150 AT LEAST!!! Order off line and have it shipped to a ffl dealer near you. Cheaper than dirt is great place to start. Sports academy is nice. Never buy from this store!!
Bryant Cooper: I just left this store 40 minutes ago and I asked for 9mm shells but was given .40. Can I come in when your store opens back up and exchange them for the correct ammunition? I shouldn’t have to check after employees after i specifically asked for a particular type of ammunition. My rating will change based on the service I receive.
Aaron Michael: Had a very good selection of guns. Prices were a tad bit high for Guns and ammo. Staff was friendly but wasn’t very knowledgeable. And multiple people help me at the same time but both guys kept contradicting the other person. Also looked at about 5-7 guns not once did the salesmen check the gun or check for a clear chamber. I understand you can assume the gun is unloaded, but gun safety 101 is always assume it’s loaded. Also one of the guys pointed it multiple times at the other guy while holding it. Maybe I’m a little more cautious than most, but didn’t get the feel they knew gun safety 101

Shawn and Sherika: I had a great experience with Metro Shooting Supplies. From the range staff to the shop floor, I received nothing but a pleasant experience. The staff were willing and patient to answer my questions, and weren’t trying to sell me anything or push me out the store. They were kind. They didn’t have any pmags, lol, but at least they gave me advice on where to purchase some. I will be back.
JABBAR F: I don’t recommend this place to anyone even if they are paying you. This store is only good for shooting and sometimes not even that. They make you put a down payment $1000 on a Sig and after finding out my background check was denied they only returned $750. I’ll pay people not to come to this place, they don’t do much business that’s why they rely on scamming people. Notice the lack of good reviews if people could they would probably give a negative
VICTOR DAVIS: I went to purchase a gun from here I had my drivers license and other documents for them to verify who I was, they even suggest that I get a fishing license which I did the same say and took to them. So I picked the gun that I was interested in and they actually charged me for the gun before they even checked my credentials and then gave me every reason why they couldn’t give me the gun and told me to come back the next day all to tell me the next day that I have to wait 3 weeks to pick the weapon up. How do you charge a person for something that you don’t even know if they’re qualified to get. This was a mistake that I’ll never make again. I’m not going to go back and forth about this please make sure that your employees know how to do their job and provide accurate information.
Robert Sennello: I recently purchased a hunting rifle, scopes and other accessories at their retail shop. Everyone was helpful, polite and knowledgeable. I did have some negative experiences here many years ago; but, I decided to give them another try. What is in the past is in the past. They have improved tremendously. When it comes to finding knowledgeable staff with a high degree of technical knowledge, they are among the best.
S. Wooldridge: Great place! Went in and got actually a good deal on a S&W Shield Plus 30 SC, holster, ammo, and some other items! Friendly and incredibly welcoming staff. Struck up great conversation with staff while waiting on the background check. Friendly salesman with lots of knowledge. Easily would recommend to anyone who's either new or experienced to buy from them. Best part, you get a 1 year indoor range membership whenever you purchase a firearm. Perfect place and well rounded!

Joseph Novel: Decent selection and good used prices but customer service is nil. Literally spent thousands somewhere else over the last few months because I couldn’t get anyone to look at me let alone help me. Never been asked once if I needed help and when I have asked got a attitude. Not really sure what makes people who work here have such a attitude but it has been that way all the way around. Could be a great place if they trained there employees to have a bit of customer service and a little bit of a positive attitude. I would like to amend my review by saying that I stopped in again a few Christmas 2022 and was helped by two different individuals that where very helpful and made a few purchases there since. Hope it keeps being the same experience as my last few. Check them out.

Dirty Steve Livin Free: Went to look at some new stock. Nobody even acknowledged I was even in the store. There were only 3 other customers. So I grabbed some ammo and went to check out. As I stood there for an extended amount of time. The employees were too busy looking up Cardinal stats on the computer to help me. And when they were finished, one employee looked at me waiting to check out and walked right past me and out to the showroom. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. 100% will NEVER return! Thanks DoucheBags!I appreciate the response, but this is the last time I will be treated poorly at this store. There's no need for me to call. It won't change my mind, I will NEVER return!

Terence White: The absolute worst gun store I’ve ever been too, the first time I went in I explained to them that I have a older 38 special and can’t use plus p ammo, the guy at the register acted like I was speaking French and kept pushing the box on me saying “well it’s still self defense ammo”. The second time I went in which was 4/22 I went into the store to after finishing some tax stamp forms for silencer shop which the website stated they had a kiosk to complete my fingerprints, when I got there (5 mins after opening) I was given several excuses on why they wouldn’t help me. The first was that they are an Elite dealer and they would have to double check my paperwork (I said that’s fine), then he said well we also charge $50 to check on top of the silencer shop fee be cause they are charged to use the machine (I said that’s fine also), then he told me that it’s too much of a hassle and takes a lot of there time to do so they didn’t want to (I was the only person in the store with two workers that I could visually see. After all of this he tell me to go down the road to another gun shop where they “might” be able to help me. I feel like I was treated that way because the color of my skin and the fact that I look young ( mid 30’s ). I will never go in this store again in my life, and would recommend anyone who values their self worth to not do business with them.
Bryan Jameson: WARNING! DON'T TAKE YOUR GUNS HERE!!! I dropped off a family heirloom 1950's S&W revolver here this week. The gunsmiths brilliant "diagnosis"was that somebody modified my revolver to be a single action instead of a double action and that was part of my jamming problem. That makes literally no sense. I've been using it as a double action forever and so has my dad since he was a child. In addition he also wore off a lot of the Bluing on both sides of the barrel and below the cylinder. Not sure if he used a harsh clamp or what. Pictures attached. Worst 45 dollars I've ever spent. Go somewhere else, Jess doesn't know what he's doing. Update. I went to c&S metal works and they got my gun working like new. All it needed was a new trigger and a new hand. If Jess can't figure out something so simple he doesn't deserve to be called a gunsmith. Seriously don't bring this guy your firearms. I now have to get the bluing touched up because of him

They will treat your firearms very poorly (added bad blemishes that weren't there before), they'll not figure out your gun's problem, and then charge you $45 for their lack of knowledge. Jess is a poor excuse for a gunsmith. Go elsewhere
Peter Kister: Razorbacks return and service policies are unreasonable for medium sized business. It's private party guarantees with big store prices. I had a pistol with a failure to cycle issue. I believe I found the issue. I took it to them to confirm. They took it back, told me it was what I said it was, and still charged me for 2 min of their time. I've done the exact same thing to other stores and not charged a dime. I was insulted when they were happy to help only until I handed it over. Had they told me there was a charge for their experience or 2min of their time, I would have refused and walked out. Simply unreasonable and predatory business policies aren't conducive to maintaining a positive reputation.

Brian Whitcraft: I picked up a holster here and returned it due to it not really fitting correctly. They charged me a 20 percent restocking fee because it was a "special order". I doubt that it actually was but I just paid it and left. I will never shop here again and warn against anyone looking to spend money here.

TheMattster: This place is great! These guys were super helpful and didn't try to sell me their most expensive part. I told them what my needs were and they gave me options. They were really friendly and welcoming. I know you can probably find things a little cheaper online, but I like to keep my business local. Also, after you pay shipping, most products aren't terribly cheaper. I'm looking forward to my next purchase here.

Ivan Munoz: Took them my gun and explained to them what problem I was having and then they told me when they looked at it was not worth fixing it and after I told them to check it out they said just to take it apart they where going to charge $45 then they would have to charge me again to put it back together then after I left it with them they called me back and said they only had to just tight some stuff and they did it withered hands they went and s changed me even they hardly did anything to it and one guy that was checking me out to pay was extremely unprofessional and rude. I would never take anything to these place or recommend them I'm a small business man and I don't treat my customers this way at all I try to help them in anyway I can.

Well stocked store, knowledgeable people, and welcoming environment for all levels of customers. Clearly Jesse (owner/manager?) and his crew know their stuff and care about their shop and the customers they come in. Great experience first time and the the multiple times I’ve been there since.
Tom Venegoni: I brought them my Benelli M1 semi auto shotgun to be cleaned. There are too many moving parts for me to clean it. I also had some periodic cycling problems.Jess broke it down and discovered that the previous owner used a highly toxic round ( dragon breath ) which caused damage to the inside of the chamber and rear of the barrel.Jess used a tool to hone out and restore the damaged areas back to the best he could get it. He also adjusted the spring and made a couple of other adjustments. The cost of the original cleaning was $70. He only charged me $80 for the entire job. They were also friendly and seem to be solid guys. I’d would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Never received the rifle. Never received any communication. Called and stopped by several times and just got the run-around. They would not refund money. Had to report scam to credit card company. Received an email from a David Hart over a week later cussing and threatening me.Do not order anything from this website. It is a SCAM!

There was a 3 sec pause and said “I guess it’s okay. Karma’s Countdown: Some gun shop staff and owners have looked at, and treated me as if they don’t want me in there store to spend “my money”. Staff @ Cabelas in Hazelwood,MO didn’t even acknowledge me at the gun counter for a long period of time, even skipped over me. Maybe it was the color I wore that day, who knows. Anyway, NOT THE GUYS AT KIRKWOOD OUTFITTERS!!!! Down to earth guys every single time I’ve been there. Each time I made a purchase of a firearm or ammo, it was during a shortage/panic buy of each item. All stores I visited in Missouri and online were SOLD OUT. Kirkwood Outfitters had each item every single time (4+ visits)!!!!! Good attitude towards customers no matter what they look like, and always in stock. They will be my 1st option from here on out. FIVE STAR establishment.

Other customers came in they over looked me and serviced thm without helping the customers tht was already their. They sold the firearm I wanted, I was better off taking my business else where. Greg Gomoluch: I just moved to Missouri about 3 months ago and I ran into some very nice people that suggested I try Kirkwood Outfitters in Des Peres. I went in with expectations of introducing myself for when the time comes that I will buy a gun. The two guys working there, Dave and Kevin, made just the intro experience so pleasing that I purchased 2 guns. They are both very knowledgeable about firearms. Dave is the owner and he bent over backwards to get me a shockingly outstanding deal. Kevin might be the only reason I may not go back. Not because he did anything wrong at all, but my wife made the comment "You know if we weren't married, he (Kevin) would make me spend a lot more time up here". Now I have that to deal with. ha ha Kidding. The overall experience was one that you would expect to see in a commercial or something. Outstanding guys! You have a new permanent customer!!!

Josh Leap: This wouldn't be my gunstore of choice when recommending places to get guns for new shooters. Some of the staff seem to look upon the uninitiated population with scorn and derisiveness. I understand it somewhat, I'm sure all the people coming in, asking what gun they should buy, then leaving after wasting an hour of your time wears on the soul.Prices all seem to be MSRP+, but if you know what things are supposed to cost you can generally talk the sales staff down. It's sort of a hassle though, again I think it's designed as a way to harvest more money from the uninformed. Sometimes good deals are to be found, last time I bought 22LR ammo there, their prices were the best that I've found not-ordering-online. Some of their magazines are 2-3x too expensive however. It's a crapshoot.
Chris R: The prices at the place are absurd, even before the panic. Man behind the counter was crabby and rude. There are a LOT of gun shops in the metro area these days, NO reason to deal with places like this.

Adem Alihodzic: Went to purchase a firearm which lead to a background check ( as expected ).What wasn’t expected was that the employees had no clue what any of the gun laws were plus the employees were rude about any questions I had. I paid for a firearm and waited 7 days before I went back just for the ladies at the front desk to tell me that they “have” to wait for a response on the background check. When I mentioned the Brady law to them they just looked at me like lost lambs….at which point I just wanted my money back. Which also was a big miss, they kept a “$50 application fee” and the sales tax on the item I was trying to purchase. $75 is a good amount of money my friend. Needless to say I’m never going back to Southside pawn, I do not recommend anyone to purchase a firearm there.

Gerald Dreisewerd: Been buying from this store for decades. The name change to Full Circle Reloading should serve them well as people would often confuse them with Graf's in Mexico. It's still the same friendly service and good prices. The new owners have been investing in the company by creating a website to sell their products. I wish them well.
Thomas Lemons: This experience with the staff was great, they were extremely knowledgeable in all of the question I had and were very willing to share their knowledge. This may seem like an everyday experience for most people, however do to my nationality I don’t often experience such great and friendly customer service. Also, the vast amount of supplies in stock was remarkable I could just about find all of my needs there. And due to the shortage of supplies caused by the pandemic I was extremely shock. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this store if possible.

Scott Hemelstrand: Absolutely great store and volume of ammo for everyone. I used to reload 9mm, .223, 7.62 x 39, .308, .40, .45, .38, and .357 and any time i came in they ALWAYS had anything i needed. Before the Brady ban i was collecting as much 9mm ammo i could for the Micro-Uzi and when everyone else was jacking the cost up, they didn't. Great job guys.

I purchased a (Switch Gun 22) for a birthday present to myself. I reached out to John(the business owner) and had my gun shipped. I get a call from John to pick it up on September 22nd (1 day before my birthday), only to find out that I had been delayed, so I would not be able to leave with my new pistol😥. This would usually take a few days to clear. I told John that I really wanted to have my gun on my day, but it's not that big of a deal. This man(John) went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to pick up my new beauty on September 23, and I am SOOO happy right now😃🙂😁

When I mentioned the gun, he says oh ya I don't wanna do business with you. When I asked why he was very rude, and said he feels like it's a straw sale. He rudely hung up on me, so I left him a one star review because I felt treated very rudely. Well Sam, I am changing my review because that was my first time transferring a firearm. When my boyfriend called I was very busy, and if I would have known how serious it was well I just would have called first. He was just calling around for me trying to help find a place, you were very rude. But I understand alot better now why, so I'm changing my review maybe in the future we can do business. I understand you might not have been having a good day, or maybe you just didn't feel comfortable because he called first..He was just calling places trying to help me find a place, I have 3 boys and I'm a busy mom sometimes..Needless to say I will be changing my review to 3 stars, maybe in the future we can handle this better. When that day comes I'm sure I will leave 5 stars, just please understand it was my first time transferring a firearm.. God bless

Jeff Barket: I do all of my firearms transfers through John at SammyDogs. John always treats me with respect and courtesy. He makes me feel like I am welcome as opposed to a nuisance as I felt at other FFL's before I met John. Another thing SammyDog's does very well is notify me as soon as my firearm arrives for transfer. I have never had a package arrive at SammyDog's when I haven't been called the same day the package arrives and often times the same hour it arrives. John is also very accommodating with his time and I have yet to suggest a time to meet (within normal business hours) that he has denied. John is very thorough and professional. He follows all ATF guidelines closely and explains them to you. He's also more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the transfer process or just to talk about the firearms hobby itself. Lastly, his prices are competitive and lower than most.I highly recommend Sammy Dogs for any firearm transfer!
Alan C: Wouldn’t recommend. The place is like a 10x10 room in a home and he has cats running around even though I told him I was allergic. He is also very rude and I would recommend going to south side guns and ammo. It is 10 dollar more expensive but we’ll worth it and easier to deal with.
